About this vendor
GEM Photography produces authentic and meaningful images from their clients’ weddings and other special events throughout New Britain, CT, and beyond. The owner, Raina McMillan, strives to create true to color images that remind her clients why they love their friends and family for who they are. Whether it’s a downtown reception or a quaint countryside banquet, this photographer will be there to ensure that every fleeting moment is captured.
Raina has been capturing precious memories since the days of disposable cameras. When she picks up her camera, this photographer also aims to produce images that tell a story and are cherished forever. This mantra has led Raina to become an award-winning photographer for her work. Though based in the Constitution State, this professional is happy to follow your big day wherever it takes her.
Personalized collections at GEM Photography can be formulated through a consultation. This ensures that your package is tailored specifically to you and your wedding day. What’s more, this photographer also offers special collections for those working in the teaching sector. A teacher herself, Raina loves to give back to those who already give so much. This photographer’s images use natural light and skin tones to tell the story of a moment. Her photos are never edited but just left in their beautifully natural condition. Your wedding images can be presented through print enlargements, digital files, albums, and much more.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Raina! Not only are our photos absolutely gorgeous, but Raina went above and beyond to make our day special. My husband and I are forever...
grateful for her for documenting our wedding and giving us the most beautiful photos to preserve our memories. GEM Photography is absolutely top notch and we will be clients for LIFE! When we start our family, Raina will be our first call for photos. GEM Photography is a 5 star experience. There is no better photographer out there!
Raina is a very talented photographer and I am so lucky to have found her to shoot my wedding. She is very easy to communicate with, responsive, professional, and just all around a...
really nice person and a pleasure to work with. She truly is fantastic at capturing moments. She takes her photography to the next level and you will not receive generic, posed, “wedding” photos. I also think her pricing is very reasonable and she is willing to work with you. My guests were blown away at her photos once I shared and were very complimentary of her photography. The one criticism I will say is that if you book her for your wedding, just be sure to list out EVERY photo you want from her, because if you don’t and you were expecting a certain item to be captured, it may not be. I’m sure this goes for every wedding photographer. There are so many pictures to be taken and Raina does a great job of making sure she gets every one, as long as you tell her! I would highly recommend Raina and look forward to using her for other special events to come.
