Denise has been amazing to work with. Her monthly checklists kept me sane and organized, all the way up to us deciding to postpone due to COVID. Denise was completely understanding and we can't wait to finally meet and work with her next October instead. Highly recommend!

During this 2020 pandemic, we had to postpone our wedding date :( Denise was right there to help us find a new date, and to let us know that everything was going to be ok! We ran into a problem with our DJ and she was right there to help us set up a meeting with a new DJ and he is AMAZING!! She has great taste in vendors. We are so excited to continue working with her getting ready for our NEW wedding date. We are so glad that we have Denise as our wedding planner during these crazy times! I don't know wat we would do without her!!! :)

What can I say except for hire Denise for your wedding!! She was amazing and helped us through rescheduling our wedding from May to August and even helped us book a new caterer with 3 days notice due to a giant storm hitting the area. She will go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. She pays attention to all the little details and takes care of them so you can relax on your special day. I don't think my wedding would have been as perfect as it was without the help of Denise.

I had a chance to work with Denise while second shooting a wedding this past weekend, and WOW! I was so impressed by her attention to detail and her positive and sweet personality! She did a phenomenal job with helping the day run smoothly, and making sure the bride and groom had the best day possible. I hope to work with her in the future many more times!

Denise has been a dream to work with. We clicked instantly and I’ve enjoyed every conversation with her. When COVID-19 hit, we made the difficult decision to postpone our big wedding out and have a mini wedding on our original date. Denise was unbelievably supportive, and offered great advice for things we could do for both of our weddings. After hearing horror stories from other Corona-Brides that had trouble postponing, it was such a relief to have Denise as an extra person in our corner. We can’t wait to have her at our 2021 wedding!

My fiance and I booked with Denise (Ruby package) because we thought we would need a little extra help with the setup and schedule for our backyard wedding. However, the pandemic required us to reschedule and re-vamp our day. Denise was flexible and supportive throughout the process. I can't recommend her enough!

Denise from Gems and Joy was a very important piece to our wedding day going smoothly and as planned. Denise kept me on track prior to the wedding, and was sincerely interested in keeping the stress off of myself, my groom and our families on the wedding day. There's seriously so many things happening all at once on your wedding day, and Denise will make sure she makes that less evident for you. I could tell she loves what she does, and that helps in her execution of the day and overall. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Gems and Joy again.

Denise was wonderful to work with. She goes above and beyond her services. She was helpful and creative in finding ways to pull all my ideas together. She has prompt response time and did everything I asked and more. I hope to work with her again in the future.

Gems and Joy did an absolutely amazing job coordinating our wedding at IMU. For a day of coordinator, I feel that Denise went above and beyond! I am definitely a last minute planner but she helped keep me more on task with the months and weeks leading up to the big day. As organized as I thought I was, there were definitely several things I hadn't considered or planned for. I was a lot more at ease on the day of our wedding knowing that Denise was running the show. I had no idea how the months of planning would come together but when I walked into the ballroom- WOW! She really did an amazing job coordinating all our vendors and I had very few questions coming at me the day of. I would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gems and Joy for anybody's wedding. And in hindsight, I wish I would have had her do more than just the day of coordinating.

Denise is truly the best! I was blown away from the get go at how organized and professional she is. She has a eye for detail, is very timely, and knows how to cater to the needs of the client. Highly recommend!

I was part of the wedding party and it was so helpful to have Denise coordinate the day! She knew who needed to be where, was the point of contact for all of the vendors, and went above and beyond throughout the whole day! It was a blessing to have Denise be part of this wedding!

I was a guest at a baby shower planned by Gems and Joy. A friend hosted the event at her house. The two ladies planning did an excellent job with literally all facets of this party. It ran so smoothly. One cleaned up after our delicious tacos and continued to maintain any guest needs during the shower. Another lady hosted some very cute and funny baby shower games and the evening moved right along. I appreciated the adorable handmade game board and realized how much personal effort Denise had put into all of this. It made it that much more special to me. At the end of the shower these two dedicated ladies stayed long after all the guests had gone home and literally cleaned the house to leave everything the way they found it when they arrived, if not better! I'm not sure you can get such wonderful service like that from everybody! Thank you for making this event such a special one!

Denise was a GEM to work with! :) She made our big day go so smoothly; it was such a relief to have her handle all those little details for us so we could focus on each other. If you are on the fence about a wedding planner or day of coordinator, I would highly recommend it.

I attended a party planned by Gems and Joy. Everything was perfect! Loved the decorations and the food table was so cute. I would definitely recommend Gems and Joy!
