Generations Mobile DJ Service

Generations Mobile DJ service was a part of my all-inclusive contract with Neuse Breeze Wedding Venue . We had Paul as our DJ and he was such a pleasure to collaborate with. From the start the planning process was smooth with a login to the website to draft and organize what songs we wanted and assigning special songs for dances and the ceremony. SO easy to work with! Any songs that were unfamiliar were no issue. I had some specific and unique foreign songs requested and Paul was more than happy to fulfill our wishes. During the reception we thought Paul went rogue at one point abandoning our playlist but we realized he knows what he's doing to keep the party alive! Paul has a great understanding of crowds and how to maintain merriment through music. He even went out to cut a rug on the dancefloor himself a few times being very entertaining and fun-loving. Above all else, Paul was so kind to us during the planning and leading up to the wedding. He was attentive to us, not just treating us like another gig. Last but not least, Paul is well suited being a DJ because he has natural charisma and his engaging personality shines!

We had Paul for our wedding at Wrightsville Manor on 7/7/19. Our guests could not stop raving about how great he was. I will admit, at one point (and only one) I thought, “why this song”. Then I looked on the dance floor and realized exactly why he is the professional. Everyone was dancing!! And everyone stayed dancing until the lights came on. He left us wanting more and there’s no better way to end the night. Paul knows exactly what to play and when to play it to keep the party going. Our guests felt his energy all night and he would even jump on the dance floor himself from time to time. We absolutely loved Paul and would recommend him to anyone!

Kyle with Generations was a wonderful touch to our wedding at Tryon Palace! He kept the night alive and the people dancing, and even danced a little himself! Kyle is a friend, but kept everything professional and provided wonderful customer service! The online tool he has allows you to select your favorite songs, as well as keeping every request organized! Our guests are still raving about how great the DJ was! We hands down recommend Kyle and the Generations team!

I LOVED the DJ. Though we kept the invitation list small, he kept the party ‘Big’ with the guest I had invited.

So happy we chose generations dj for our wedding! The planning leading up to our wedding was great. The online tool they use to find & choose music was so simple. & Paul (our dj the day of) went over our entire wedding day via phone call, what music would be played when, what we were missing, what we could add, etc. SO easy to work with! & during our wedding reception Paul even got out from behind his booth & joined us on the dance! 10/10! This team is awesome!

In case you couldn’t tell from the pictures, Kyle kept this party going from the moment the dance floor opened until everyone left on the busses. His online website made it easy for us to plan most of the wedding, including the songs. We have a very diverse music choice and he pretty much had all but Alvin in the Chipmunks (song request for my son) in his library. And any song that you would like that’s not in the library, it is very convenient to add and just link the YouTube hyperlink. He was even able to put together 2 songs for the mother/son dance for a nice football tribute. Kyle did awesome and there’s nothing we would change. From the ceremony (working the microphones and speakers as well as the music), to the introductions (being flexible with the sword arch), to the first dances, to the shoe game, and keeping the party going all night, he did a great job. For only meeting him the day before, it was like Kyle was just another member of the family, playing hit after hit and matching our taste of the music and general atmosphere. We highly recommended Kyle if you want to dance the night away on your wedding day!

Paul from Generations was the DJ at my wedding and he was AWESOME! The music he played all night got everyone up and dancing, and he even got out there and showed us some moves. The entire process with Generations was great. I put off choosing songs until the last minute and they were happy to give me suggestions and even chose a few of the songs that i didn't have time to think about. They went as far as to helping me plan the entire flow of my wedding, from ceremony to send off. Throughout the night, Paul communicated with the photographers to make sure everything stayed on schedule, and i didn't have to worry about a thing! I would HIGHLY recommend using Generations for your wedding or event!

I seriously could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. They kept the night moving and everyone had a blast. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They are incredibly thorough and go above and beyond to make your day even more than you could hope for it to be! They were one of the best investments we made for the whole wedding, and one of the key vendors to keeping the fun going and on time. Everyone we worked with was professional, friendly, and beyond helpful. I recommend Generations DJ with two thumbs up!

Generations Mobile DJ Service was amazing and personable right from the start. I found them online and put in my email for interest, and someone emailed me right away. We set up an appointment, and they are accommodating to having every single thing your way on your day -- in fact, that is their motto!!! They have a huge database of music to choose from, and everything is essentially online which was really convenient. I was amazed at their lower price, which was right around $500 for 4 hours of coverage at our reception. Great quality, fun DJ, awesome music and an awesome night!

I would definitely use them again they are easy to work with very professional. The Dj kept the party going and she even came out to show some of the dances to everyone we had a blast! They also did the music for my ceremony as well.
