answered if he had looked at the information we put into the Generations DJs planning portal.
Our DJ was texting me the week before our wedding asking additional questions to which he could have found the answer in their planning portal.
DJ had the time of our reception wrong, and thought it ended at 9:30 instead of 10. When I corrected this, we were charged for "adding" and "extra" half hour. Our original contract went until 10.
Our DJ texted me only a few hours before our wedding asking about ceremony sound and music. This was inappropriate not only because my planner should have been the point of contact at this point, but because any questions he had should have been answered much sooner than the afternoon of our wedding day. If he was responsible for ceremony music, this would have been a massive problem. It’s lucky that he was not.
Despite us adding all of our special song requests into the planning portal, our DJ had to ask my husband what the mother/son dance song was while I was dancing with my dad. He already had this information. He still played the wrong song.
He barely played any of our must play songs during the reception.
He started playing our private last dance song with guests still on the dance floor and I had to correct it in front of everyone. The last dance song he then played for the guests was not the one I had requested.
He gave the wrong instructions at the end of the dancing and sent everyone back inside instead of having them line up for our exit, causing my husband and I to have to wait in silence while our wedding party encouraged everyone to exit and line up.
He did bring great energy and enthusiasm, but there was no reason for there to be this many mistakes when we provided all of the accurate information well in advance.

we wanted played during our wedding, it made the process so easy and smooth. Our DJ was the owner Kyle and we loved him, he brought so much positive fun energy! We did the all inclusive ceremony and reception package and it was very fairly priced! They also offer military discount which was even better. Highly recommend Generations Mobile for any event you need a DJ!

ir RSVPs. When I followed up a couple weeks before the wedding I was contacted by Mitch - I filled out his questionnaire which was extremely helpful! I included the link that Kyle had sent that I put all the requested songs in from my husband, me and our guests. Day of the wedding was super windy but could still hear the music for the ceremony which was great! The only main downfall is none of the requested songs were played and some songs got played multiple times. All n all it was good, dancing happened, however not having the requested songs played was a BIG let down. That took a lot of time and was very special for us to our guests.

he start the planning process was smooth with a login to the website to draft and organize what songs we wanted and assigning special songs for dances and the ceremony. SO easy to work with! Any songs that were unfamiliar were no issue. I had some specific and unique foreign songs requested and Paul was more than happy to fulfill our wishes. During the reception we thought Paul went rogue at one point abandoning our playlist but we realized he knows what he's doing to keep the party alive! Paul has a great understanding of crowds and how to maintain merriment through music. He even went out to cut a rug on the dancefloor himself a few times being very entertaining and fun-loving. Above all else, Paul was so kind to us during the planning and leading up to the wedding. He was attentive to us, not just treating us like another gig. Last but not least, Paul is well suited being a DJ because he has natural charisma and his engaging personality shines!

song”. Then I looked on the dance floor and realized exactly why he is the professional. Everyone was dancing!! And everyone stayed dancing until the lights came on. He left us wanting more and there’s no better way to end the night. Paul knows exactly what to play and when to play it to keep the party going. Our guests felt his energy all night and he would even jump on the dance floor himself from time to time. We absolutely loved Paul and would recommend him to anyone!

r us to plan most of the wedding, including the songs. We have a very diverse music choice and he pretty much had all but Alvin in the Chipmunks (song request for my son) in his library. And any song that you would like that’s not in the library, it is very convenient to add and just link the YouTube hyperlink. He was even able to put together 2 songs for the mother/son dance for a nice football tribute.
Kyle did awesome and there’s nothing we would change. From the ceremony (working the microphones and speakers as well as the music), to the introductions (being flexible with the sword arch), to the first dances, to the shoe game, and keeping the party going all night, he did a great job. For only meeting him the day before, it was like Kyle was just another member of the family, playing hit after hit and matching our taste of the music and general atmosphere.
We highly recommended Kyle if you want to dance the night away on your wedding day!

The entire process with Generations was great. I put off choosing songs until the last minute and they were happy to give me suggestions and even chose a few of the songs that i didn't have time to think about. They went as far as to helping me plan the entire flow of my wedding, from ceremony to send off. Throughout the night, Paul communicated with the photographers to make sure everything stayed on schedule, and i didn't have to worry about a thing! I would HIGHLY recommend using Generations for your wedding or event!

They have a huge database of music to choose from, and everything is essentially online which was really convenient. I was amazed at their lower price, which was right around $500 for 4 hours of coverage at our reception. Great quality, fun DJ, awesome music and an awesome night!
