Generations Photography

Beth and Mike were terrific. Even though we hadn't planned on doing a professional engagement sitting, they did one so that we would be more comfortable with professional/posed pictures on the day of the wedding. They used those pictures to make a guest book for our wedding day. They had photo book design options that I had never seen before. Having two photographers was nice in that we have different angles of the same pictures and it guaranteed us to get more shots overall. Even with all of the formal pictures that must be taken I never felt as if Beth and Mike took away for our day. We got all of the pictures we could want and still had time to enjoy ourselves! Plus, Beth was great with our young flower girl.

We had a great experience with Generations Photography! They are a husband/wife team which is great because the wife (Beth) goes with the bride during the day and the husband (Mike)goes with the groom and you get both of their perspectives during the ceremony/reception which is nice! They both take wonderful pictures! Our pictures turned out really great! They were good about giving us a DVD to music of a lot of our pictures really soon after our wedding - perfect to show friends who couldn't make it! They really went above and beyond for us - Beth spent a couple hours with us at the wedding reception location a few days before the wedding to plan out where we wanted to take our wedding pictures. We got to see what pictures looked like at the different locations which helped us pick where we wanted them on the wedding day in advance - it kept things really efficient on the wedding day which was really helpful...we got to spend more time with our guests! Beth also came to the hair dresser with me in the morning which gave us some great pictures - really captured the whole day! The pictures of my husband getting ready turned out really awesome, too! They kept things fun...bringing sun glasses or suggesting fun poses for the wedding party because we said we wanted some "fun photos"! They also stayed for the entire reception - they didn't leave until we did, so we got the whole day captured on film which is just what we wanted! They do a good mix of formal/posed photos and photojournalistic which gives you a good mix with your wedding photos. Lastly, I found them very easy to work with you and get a lot for your money! All in all, I can highly recommend Generations Photography for your wedding!
