Our MC, Brandon, was similarly amazing. He kept the event schedule moving with great energy and was an excellent communicator with us on any small tweaks we needed to make to the reception schedule. The uplighting also added a perfect touch. Leading up to the event the team was receptive to our requests and their questions regarding song requests, timing of the event, special things we wanted to do like group pictures, etc were very thorough and comprehensive so we felt that we were in great hands for the big day. We loved working with Genesis!

All of our guests told us how amazing they were and they kept the party flowing perfectly and beautifully all night. We told them we wanted nice bachata in the beginning and nice old school salsa as well for the elders in our family to dance to and enjoy. Then we wanted that gradually switched up to Hip Hop, Reggae, Reggaeton, and just hype music to keep the party going. They executed this vision PERFECTLY! Damian does an awesome job as a MC and keeping the party’s flow exactly how you request! I’d hire these guys for any party, any time! We loved everything! Also, we had FOUR different wedding dates due to COVID (and then me getting pregnant during this time as well). Damian was always able to accommodate our new dates and seamlessly reschedule. Just hands down, THE BEST!

ey arrived at my venue. I had a lot of contact with the company prior to the wedding day, yet there were a few issues that arose. When they were trying to set up the photo slideshow to be played during dinner they said they only brought a USB stick with them, even though I gave them a head’s up prior to the wedding that an HDMI hookup was needed. Thankfully I brought my laptop and HDMI cable just in case. They tried to hook up their USB to my computer, but nothing was on it. I, the bride, had to step away from my own cocktail hour for at least 15 minutes to work on my laptop to make sure the pictures were ready to be played. Not only this, but I had a slideshow for my father/daughter dance – as my dad passed away last year – and I would not have been able to have this extremely meaningful slideshow play had I not been prepared just in case something went wrong. I almost started to cry at the thought that may not be played because the company didn’t listen to my request. The DJ said we should have gotten a video package and it would not be an issue – not the best thing to say to a bride stepping away from her cocktail hour to fix their mess. They also did not honor our song requests during cocktail hour – another meaningful moment since these were songs in memory of our grandparents. They also were in charge of our photo booth, and they shut it down during dinner and the machine got jammed so people couldn’t get their printouts. Though no one noticed all of these issues, it definitely added unnecessary stress to mine and my husband’s day and I would not recommend this vendor.

y turned our wedding into the greatest party we have been to in years. We were very low key/limited with our requests, and basically asked them to keep the party going all night. They DID NOT disappoint. I can truly say every single guest danced the entire night whether they were 18 or in their 70s. The dance floor was PACKED. We had countless texts and messages over the next week from family and friends raving about the entertainment with comments such as: "They are still sore from dancing," "They felt like they were 21 again," (in the best way possible), "The lighting and music together was like being in a high-end night club," or "They just ordered bongos on Amazon" (the bongo guy was evidently a huge hit as well)!! A friend of ours who had given us this recommendation had said "Yianni and Fabio are the best in the game," and we now can say that this is 1000% true. They felt the vibe of the guests, and just went with it giving us an unbelievable variety of music and entertainment. Thank you for making our wedding one of the most memorable nights of our lives.

We were a bit worried when they said they would not need a specific song list as other couples told us they compiled a song list for the whole night (ugh so happy we did not have that huge task on our wedding to do list), but based on our music preferences, they picked the perfect songs! They got everyone out on the dancefloor and our guests had the best time. Joe and Glyde did a great job keeping the tempo of the reception and keeping our guests excited without being obnoxious or pushy. Our friends and family had a blast with the open-air photo booth! We also went with some recommendations from Damian and hired Maria for our Invitations, seating board and a whole bunch of other details which we would of forgot about if not for her guiding us through everything. Thanks MARIA your awesome. On recommendation from Damian we hired Gaspare Maniscalco for Videography and Rosanna Distefano for Photography and were ecstatic with both our beautiful film and all the amazing photos we had of our special day. It was obvious everyone at Genesis events had tremendous knowledge in the wedding industry. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND GENESIS EVENTS FOR ANY PARTY THAT YOU ARE HAVING!!!!!!

One recent bride even said that Genesis was so much better than their own DJ! If I wasn't being pulled away all night you better believe I would've been on the dance floor all night long.

n Allen Hotel, and we were quickly able to tell that they would be one of the highlights of our wedding. We spoke with them to discuss the type of atmosphere and music that we wanted for our wedding, and they knocked it out of the park. Everyone from our youngest to oldest guests commented on what a great job they did, so much so that the grooms father asked if they were available for his daughters upcoming wedding as well. The only complaint that one of the guests had was they were worried that they played too many great songs at the beginning and they would run out of hits to play. At the end of the night that guest made it a point to tell us that the hits kept on coming. The MC was funny, personable, and got everyone up on the dance floor from the first song to the last dance, and the DJ took all of our musical suggestions and turned it into a party for the ages. We would gladly (and have gladly) recommend Genesis Events to all of our family and friends after the amazing job they did with our wedding.

n. Fabio was our MC, who has the best personality. He makes you want to literally hang out with him all night. I had people coming up to me saying that this was the best wedding they've ever been to and the MC is a huge part of that. He made annoying, old traditions fun and exciting again, just by throwing in his own fun touches to things like the bouquet toss, and garter. I can't say enough nice things, they're fantastic, from Maria, to joe to damian and ESPECIALLY FABIO.

Nobody sat during the reception, people were itching to finish eating so they could get back on the dance floor. Damien danced with my wife, my grandma and everyone else. He partied with us all night, it was like we were hanging out with friends. Our photo booth was a HUGE hit, there was always a line to get in. I can honestly say Genesis is the best entertainment company out there. People are still calling us to tell us how great they were and how awesome our music was. Even the girl who works at the front desk loves us. You can't go wrong booking with them. We've already recommended them to all of our other friends getting married! We love Genesis!

On the day of the wedding, Fabio went above and beyond for us. Our ceremony music fell through the day before and Fabio showed up with his computer and music ready to play my ceremony music, something we never planned with him but he found out from Mohammed. Fabio made our wedding a HIT with our guests. Since he is Italian he was able to play good Italian music for my husbands side of the family and then Spanish music for my family! From the minute you walked into our ballroom, it was like you were walking into a NYC Nightclub which was just what we wanted. He made our guests laugh at his jokes, and got everyone to get up and dance the night away! The most special part for me was the fact Fabio was able to put together not only a slideshow of my husband and I’s favorite pictures but also a collage of my brother and I to display on the screen when the DJ played my brothers favorite song. It meant SO much to me that Fabio showed how much he cared. I would recommend genesis over and over again and would never use another DJ. They are AMAZING!

The customer service and expert advice from the entire group was impeccable. Fabio and my husband developed a nice bond, needless to say Fabio was our MC GENIUS!!! We WOWED our guest with the Red Carpet entrance as they struck a pose and were given framed photos as favors. Maria was extremely patient as we requested to use the original monogram from our wedding invitations on the backdrop. Once we provided the monogram, the art department provided us various selections to choose from. The end product was exactly what we envisioned. The DJ did an amazing job looping the bridal party’s entrance song into the ceremony. It was started too soon because the song played as the Pastor presented but he kept it playing endlessly. As I, the bride made my grand entrance the violinist played Pachelbel Cannon D lovingly. The exuberating bridal party entrance got the crowd up out of their seats and ready to party! Fabio announced the indigenous names of our bridal party as if he’d known them all along. Details we didn’t think of was seamlessly taken care of and the grand entrance for the bride and groom was GRAND INDEED! First dance and second dance songs were on point with the perfect lighting to enhance the moment. For example, the second dance song was “Lady in Red” and Fabio changed the room lighting to red. It was gorgeous! The dancing was nonstop to tasteful music selections and the acoustics drummer was the perfect touch. The montage and snap shots were invaluable as we enjoyed looking at them for days preceding the professional photos. It was exciting sharing a few shots with the guest and they are still raving about our wedding! The zap shot photos Genesis took ended up being better quality and better taken than the TWO photographers we paid for. Finally, our DJ, God Bless him. He had to deal with a Romanian band that couldn't be stopped and he handled everything so professionally and with such a great attitude. He never stopped smiling. ow the available MCs (Jason & Armado) were in person. The day of the showcase, Jason was not there (we were not informed of this prior), but it didn't matter because we really liked Armado. We met with Joe again to officially book with Genesis and requested that Armado was our MC. The day of our wedding we had a different MC, Jason. I didn't say anything about it because I wasn't too concerned, but I was a little annoyed that we specifically requested Armado and was not told that he was not coming. However, Jason was great and so was our DJ, John. Overall, I think the music was great and our guests had an amazing time which was all that mattered. There were definitely little details that I wish could have been better, but it did not deter from the overall experience.
