My high expectations were blown away. Chris and her team are an absolute dream to work with. The stunning views and grounds at Geneva on the Lake would be gorgeous on their own, bu...t the tent was decorated elegantly and I was delighted by little touches I discovered through the evening. I felt like royalty thanks to the attentive service of all the team. The food, which was sourced from local farms, was amazing - several people commented it was the best wedding food they ever had.
Upon check in, the staff went on at length about how excited they were to be working at my wedding - and it was completely genuine. Jason was exceptional - and so much fun to have lighting our Bon fire the evening of the wedding. He did everything with a huge, genuine smile. A waitress who had served me lunch a month + earlier stopped me and reintroduced herself, reminding me of lunch and telling me she was excited. The team is incredibly warm and welcoming. Chris Clarke is a gem - she has a solution or suggestion for anything you throw her way and has a terrific upbeat attitude.
I love that Geneva on the Lake hosts just 1 wedding per weekend. I felt like all of the energy was devoted to making my event beautiful.
I would choose Geneva on the Lake 100 times over - it was a dream. I can't wait to return for a visit.
