Genevieve's Bridal Couture

knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to understand my style and helping me find the perfect dress without ever making me feel pressured. The entire process—from trying on dresses to fittings—was seamless and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and genuine care made me feel confident that everything would be perfect for my wedding day. When I put on my dress, I felt absolutely beautiful, and it was everything I had hoped for. I am so grateful for the amazing service and highly recommend this salon to any bride looking for a memorable, stress-free dress shopping experience.

to life. 10/10 recommend!

ade me feel so special and beautiful. The shop itself is stunning, and I felt very comfortable. I can’t recommend this bridal shop enough and have already told some soon-to-be-engaged friends that this is a must-visit shop!

th what we selected and truly cannot wait to get married. I’m so grateful to Melanie for making this experience feel so special and effortless. :)

ersonalized experience and was taken well care of.

budget as much as possible and always warned us if something was outside of the number we gave her. She used props and accessories at the perfect time and she helped me pick my dream dress!! Something my mom and I both really appreciated was the attention to detail of the whole team. Melanie took my measurements, then the manager, and because I was right between a size and going up one they had the owner measure me too. Incredibly diligent

a was my bridal stylist and she was amazing and suggesting dresses based on my reactions to ones that I tried on and my descriptions of what I liked/didn't like. I ended up purchasing a dress that was unlike anything I had tried on (in a good way) and best of all, the dress I ended up with looks and feels more expensive than it was!

the options I tried on, and when I said I needed a bit of time to think there was no push, only reassurance that this was about me and my wedding day. On the day of the 'Yes,' Monika helped us as well, and was super kind and clear around next steps. The whole team made me and my camp feel so special. Highly recommend! I cannot wait for my dress to arrive!

l the beautiful gowns before trying things on. Monika was very thoughtful of my budget during the picking process. Monika made me feel incredibly comfortable while trying things on and was able to get a great read on how I was feeling in each gown. She was also very helpful before the appointment communicating with both me and my mom on time of appointment, any preference I had, and answering all questions. She made sure to pull the gown I had really liked online as well. Once I found my gown, I was able to try on veils and see the whole look come together. We celebrated with mimosas, pictures in front of the beautiful photo wall, and a comprehensive walk through of the billing process. They do not do alterations in house, however they do recommend a local place with high reviews. This was actually better for me as I am an out of town bride and am able to have my alterations done closer to where I am living. If you are near the Chicagoland area, Genevieve’s should definitely be on your list of shops for your big day!

fun atmosphere, upbeat music playing with a huge selection of dresses! I was able to walk around, touch the gowns and pull 8-10 dresses to try on. They had such a nice selection which allowed me to narrow down my dress through process of elimination. Our stylist (Andrea) was THE BEST. She made my mom and I feel comfortable and heard. My mom and I truly had a blast and it felt so stress free and EASY. Exactly how I envisioned picking out my dress would be and should be for every bride! I would recommend this store to everyone. I drove an hour to go there and it is WORTH IT!

dering process.

I tried on. I never felt any pressure or rushed to decide on a dress that day. My consultant made me feel so comfortable & really listened to what my thoughts were on each dress I tried on to help decide what to pull next. Their facility is also wheelchair accessible & they were so kind & accommodating to that need for one of my guests. Could not recommend wedding dress shopping here enough!!!

The boutique was beautiful and had plenty of options for dresses. Even the lighting was perfect. Every single team member was delightful and made me feel special. Shoutout to Mallory who took care of me - she was incredible! She had amazing recommendations and advice, pulled things she knew would work for me, and made me look and feel amazing! I felt like I was able to take my time and never felt pressured or rushed. And the most amazing part - I said "yes" to the first dress I tried on! Super happy and excited. Highly recommend.

pulled the one I had showed her was my favorite in addition to walking with me around the store and getting a good idea for what I was looking for. I was allowed to pull the dresses out from the rack and really get a good look at them. The prices were also clearly marked on the dress so I was easily able to check to make sure I was staying within my budget. I didn't feel any pressure when it came time but I did ultimately buy my dress here. They couldn't have made the process any better it was a wonderful experience.

as one she chose for me. She was very cognizant of our budget and did not pressure us at all. I had an experience at another bridal store that was horrible. I was rushed and pressured to spend above my budget. I was made to feel unimportant. This left me feeling really upset and discouraged about dress shopping. Melanie completely changed the experience for me! I cannot recommend Genevieves enough for an outstanding experience choosing my wedding dress!

nough!

ten if I wanted to pick more out or if I was happy with the choices so far. Every dress I tried on, she helped me in the fitting room and we talked about before showing my friends and family. She helped me feel so beautiful and pick out the most perfect dress for my special day. I have been wanting to shop at Genevieve’s even before we were engaged, I’ve always known I would go here! I cannot thank her ENOUGH for the love and dedication she put forth into helping me find a dress. She is the absolute best at her job.

trip to Kleinfeld in NYC with my mom and sister. However, our flight got cancelled a few hours before takeoff, so we were stuck with no appointment. I sent an email to the owner at Genevieve's early in the morning to see if there were any last-minute appointment slots due to my unfortunate trip cancellation. They were able to squeeze me in the next day and gave us the same experience that we had with my sister and more. We found my dress but came back a week later so my other sisters and future MIL could see it for the big reveal with another stylist Brooklyn who was also so helpful. Cannot reocmmend Genevieve's enough for all brides!!!

so tell how much care and thought is put into this business and it truly shows and carries out the vision to make every bride feel special and excited about shopping. You will not be disappointed here and should absolutely make this your first place to shop!

is also extremely beautiful with lots of natural light - I wanted to say yes to every dress! I SAID YES TO THE PERFECT DRESS! Thank you so much to the team at Genevieve's Bridal Couture and a special thank you to Andrea for all your help! You helped make this day so special and stress-free. :)

ndly, and knowledgeable. She paid attention to the style of dresses I picked and everyone else in my party. She suggested a dress I wouldn’t have picked out on my own (not knowing she handpicked a dress that checked all of my boxes. She literally knew what I wanted without me realizing it) and I ended saying yes to her recommendation. I highly recommend going here and looking for your perfect dress. They have many options it’s incredible.

d feel beautiful at every step. Cannot recommend this salon enough!

shop is gorgeous too! Highly recommend:)

st one I tried on was the one that I said "yes" to. Everyone in the shop was so nice and I didn't feel the pressure to have to decided then and there. My dress came in 5 months later and I had it taken to Sylvia Tailor for alterations (at the recommendation of the shop). All in all, I was so happy with my choice. It was truly the dress of my dreams.

important to me. I definitely recommend her!

dvice and wisdom. She led me to my dream dress! Thank you so much.

be a very overwhelming process. I am so happy I got my dress here and would recommend to any other brides!

I wanted. She ended up helping me find my absolute dream dress within my budget! They also helped recommend a tailor to go to as I was very unfamiliar with where to go. I had a great experience when I went back to pick my dress up when it arrived, and everyone who works there is so polite! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dress to go there!

for your big day!

ncredible!

p, feeling a little overwhelmed by the endless options of dress styles. The calming and friendly presence of my lead stylist Monika was just what I needed. I ended up finding THE dress in their sample selections, it was a dream moment! Highly recommend shopping at Genevieve's Bridal!

found be a seamstress near me out of town that was excellent!

wedding dress today and I’m tearing up writing this. Definitely a hidden gem 💎!

ut, and stuck to my budget. She has a lot of knowledge that made my experience so much better! I definitely recommend Genevieve’s!

es and dislikes after each dress to help me narrow in on the perfect dress for me! She was super knowledgeable about each dress in the shop! I went to another bridal shop after Genevieve's and it helped solidify my trust and confidence in working with Genevieve's so I went back to buy my dress! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a shop that is non-salesy, comforting, and genuinely cares about the bride. I felt so taken care of!

my nerves about the whole process and made me feel so confident and beautiful. She was so attentive and listened to what I liked and did not like about each dress I tried and picked the perfect dress for me. Not only do I recommend Genevieve's bridal, but I highly recommend working with Lizzie if you're given the chance!

hat I had found the one to beat. However I left saying yes to the dress of my dreams at Genevieves! Lizzie was my stylist, and she was absolutely wonderful to work with! She listened to everything I had to say, helped me pick out a variety of dresses - both in and out of my "comfort zone". Lizzie was not only the biggest hype women, but she listened to my concerns, my expectations, and every little detail in between. She made this truly the perfect day for me and my family and made me feel so confident in my decision to say yes to the dress! I cannot thank her enough - from helping me accessorize my dress to the champagne toast, she was fabulous to work with!! I definitely would recommend coming to Genevieve’s for your dream wedding dress shopping experience!

tylist and had reviewed my comments, styles and pulled exactly what I was looking for. She made the experience effortless and went with the 4th dress I tried on. As well, I'm able to customize the dress to my liking. They were professional, polite, encouraging and overall so comfortable to work with! They were transparent with pricing and I got my veil and hair piece as well. A perfect experience!

. My mother and Mother in Law felt included which was important to me. Her joyful nature was shining through the entire time! I really appreciated her politeness with my guests. She made sure I wasn't overwhelmed and told me if I was she would give me a moment alone in the fitting room. Unlike other salons she was very encouraging while still telling me that finding my dress was the most important thing - not pressuring me to buy it right then and there. This salon is beautiful inside and all the staff are very welcoming with bright smiling faces. I cannot recommend this shop or Lizzie enough! If you're going there you should totally request her!

of the inventory made the entire process of finding my wedding dress seamless and fun! Everyone that accompanied me was blown away by how professional, thoughtful, and positive Andrea was. I never felt pressure from the team to make a decision, which was not the same experience I had at other bridal salons. I would highly recommend Genevieve’s bridal to anyone looking for their perfect dress! Thank you Andrea and the Genevieve’s bridal team for helping me find my dream dress!

e end I found a dress that I was very excited about and that nearly everyone complimented me on at the wedding. Thank you to Genevieve’s for helping me feel beautiful on such an important day! I would definitely recommend.
