I ended up purchasing a dress that was unlike anything I had tried on (in a good way) and best of all, the dress I ended up with looks and feels more expensive than it was!

On the day of the 'Yes,' Monika helped us as well, and was super kind and clear around next steps. The whole team made me and my camp feel so special. Highly recommend! I cannot wait for my dress to arrive!

Monika made me feel incredibly comfortable while trying things on and was able to get a great read on how I was feeling in each gown. She was also very helpful before the appointment communicating with both me and my mom on time of appointment, any preference I had, and answering all questions. She made sure to pull the gown I had really liked online as well. Once I found my gown, I was able to try on veils and see the whole look come together. We celebrated with mimosas, pictures in front of the beautiful photo wall, and a comprehensive walk through of the billing process. They do not do alterations in house, however they do recommend a local place with high reviews. This was actually better for me as I am an out of town bride and am able to have my alterations done closer to where I am living. If you are near the Chicagoland area, Genevieve’s should definitely be on your list of shops for your big day! 

fun atmosphere, upbeat music playing with a huge selection of dresses! I was able to walk around, touch the gowns and pull 8-10 dresses to try on. They had such a nice selection which allowed me to narrow down my dress through process of elimination. Our stylist (Andrea) was THE BEST. She made my mom and I feel comfortable and heard. My mom and I truly had a blast and it felt so stress free and EASY. Exactly how I envisioned picking out my dress would be and should be for every bride! I would recommend this store to everyone. I drove an hour to go there and it is WORTH IT!

I tried on. I never felt any pressure or rushed to decide on a dress that day. My consultant made me feel so comfortable & really listened to what my thoughts were on each dress I tried on to help decide what to pull next. Their facility is also wheelchair accessible & they were so kind & accommodating to that need for one of my guests. Could not recommend wedding dress shopping here enough!!!

The boutique was beautiful and had plenty of options for dresses. Even the lighting was perfect. Every single team member was delightful and made me feel special. Shoutout to Mallory who took care of me - she was incredible! She had amazing recommendations and advice, pulled things she knew would work for me, and made me look and feel amazing! I felt like I was able to take my time and never felt pressured or rushed. And the most amazing part - I said "yes" to the first dress I tried on! Super happy and excited. Highly recommend.

pulled the one I had showed her was my favorite in addition to walking with me around the store and getting a good idea for what I was looking for. I was allowed to pull the dresses out from the rack and really get a good look at them. The prices were also clearly marked on the dress so I was easily able to check to make sure I was staying within my budget. I didn't feel any pressure when it came time but I did ultimately buy my dress here. They couldn't have made the process any better it was a wonderful experience.

She helped me feel so beautiful and pick out the most perfect dress for my special day. I have been wanting to shop at Genevieve’s even before we were engaged, I’ve always known I would go here! I cannot thank her ENOUGH for the love and dedication she put forth into helping me find a dress. She is the absolute best at her job.

trip to Kleinfeld in NYC with my mom and sister. However, our flight got cancelled a few hours before takeoff, so we were stuck with no appointment. I sent an email to the owner at Genevieve's early in the morning to see if there were any last-minute appointment slots due to my unfortunate trip cancellation. They were able to squeeze me in the next day and gave us the same experience that we had with my sister and more. We found my dress but came back a week later so my other sisters and future MIL could see it for the big reveal with another stylist Brooklyn who was also so helpful. Cannot reocmmend Genevieve's enough for all brides!!!

so tell how much care and thought is put into this business and it truly shows and carries out the vision to make every bride feel special and excited about shopping. You will not be disappointed here and should absolutely make this your first place to shop!

She suggested a dress I wouldn’t have picked out on my own (not knowing she handpicked a dress that checked all of my boxes. My dress came in 5 months later and I had it taken to Sylvia Tailor for alterations (at the recommendation of the shop). All in all, I was so happy with my choice. It was truly the dress of my dreams.

She made sure I wasn't overwhelmed and told me if I was she would give me a moment alone in the fitting room. Unlike other salons she was very encouraging while still telling me that finding my dress was the most important thing - not pressuring me to buy it right then and there. This salon is beautiful inside and all the staff are very welcoming with bright smiling faces. I cannot recommend this shop or Lizzie enough! If you're going there you should totally request her!
