Chris was great! I have a dark complexion and my husband has a light complexion and is of a different race. I was worried about finding a photographer that could use natural and external light sources to compliment us both. I interviewed many photographers. Chris was kind and patient. He was professional, answered our questions, and clearly talked about steps he would take to ensure that our wedding (in the evening at an indoor venue) would have wonderful pictures. Our engagement photo session was comfortable and went well despite some short-term bad weather. Chris led the session but was also open to our ideas. At the wedding we had two photographers from prep until the end of the night. We're very happy with our pictures and our experience. I whole-heartedly recommend Genovese Studios for your event!

We researched and interviewed many photographers, but Chris' photo style stood out above the rest. He knew how to capture the moments perfectly with our venue. He worked with us to provide a custom plan that was just right for us. He moved and captured seamlessly the events of the day. The team did an amazing job for both our engagement and wedding photos. Vanessa was very easy to work with and was great at giving feedback and direction during both shoots. The second shooter for the groomsmen was very attentive and experienced in getting the photos without the feeling of hovering around us. Our family was so pleased by their services that they hired Vanessa to shoot my step sister's senior photos as well. Their website was seamless and they were prompt in returning emails and most importantly they were on time for both days.

My wife and I wanted a very small wedding, as we are both not the type to be front and center for something like this. It was simply going to be us, the judge and a photographer. We had a few photographer friends back out of taking our pictures pretty late in the planning, so we were searching for a photographer that could take our photos on pretty short notice. My wife found Chris’s studio on Google through an article about Best Photography in Houston, and sent him a message to inquire about his services. Not only were we impressed with how fast he got back to us, but how warm and accommodating he was with the ideas we had. We didn’t have a lot in mind, and we preferred more of a candid style and trusted his talent based on the galleries from his website. He assured us that this would not be a problem, nor our limited time that we had at our courthouse venue in Houston. He kept us updated with communication right up until we were ready to go, and he did not disappoint. I was immediately impressed and comforted when he showed up on-time (even early so we could get some shots before our time slot) with his camera gear ready to go. He asked us a few questions on some pictures we might want, and he worked out a quick plan outside our venue without hesitation and we got started. I could not have been happier with the whole situation after stressing out just weeks before without a photographer, and Chris delivered in spades. My wife looks absolutely gorgeous in every photo, and we have so many great shots of our special day to share with our family and friends. Chris was professional, talented and absolutely fair on the costs of his services. We weren’t in a hurry to get our pictures back, but he managed to deliver those quickly as well with the edits they needed. I really can’t say enough good things about Chris taking our photos. He was absolutely amazing every step of the way, and I hope you consider him for your wedding.

Chris was amazing during the whole process leading up to the wedding ensuring all of my thoughts were considered and taking note of my preferences. Having a good photographer for your events, especially weddings, is definitely an area I would not recommend skimping on. Chris is affordable and does a great job, so a win-win! We were pleased that we chose Genovese Studios for our wedding (as well as my engagements and bridals). Chris was a good resource and communicator in the months leading up to all of these photoshoots. I was originally discontent with my bridal shots, partially due to the lighting (and partially due to factors outside of Chris's control), but he was able to resolve my concerns quickly with some editing. We got our wedding photos back in just under a month, and we were pleased with the quality and quantity of photos.

We also did engagement photos with Chris and we were a bit nervous since neither of us are picture people, but Chris coached us through the photos and people loved our Save the Dates. We got married in June 2021 and used Chris for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Chris and his entire team were so great to work with. They understood exactly what we wanted, did what they needed to do to stick to our timeline and suggested really creative ideas that ended up being our favorite photos/videos. We got married in June and used Chris and his team for our photography and a post-wedding couples shoot. He was so helpful! When I booked him, I was a bit of a nervous wreck because we had 3 different locations for our wedding. He helped me to feel comfortable knowing they would be able to work with our varied locations and was there to get all of the important moments of the wedding. Chris has a magical way of making every moment beautiful! Most of the time (during engagements, bridals, and the wedding) I hardly noticed he was there! After we received our pictures, it was amazing that he truly did capture every important moment and was able to tell me and my husband's story through pictures. Chris and his team are the best! He shot both our engagement photos and wedding day. Both days went so smoothly, and he is great at giving advice and direction. Chris and his team did an awesome job on our save the date shoot and wedding! He made us feel so comfortable which showed in our photos and was willing to run around town to catch a beautiful sunset. Having a dad who is into photography, I always had a certain idea of what good photography looks like. That is what I saw when I looked at Genovese Studios’ portfolio. The compositions looked clean and intentional. I like the rich but natural color that Chris delivers in his photography. I feel like nowadays it’s easy for anyone to pick up a camera, throw on some filters, and overcharge people for photos. I liked that Chris was formally trained, and I liked his classic and timeless style. Considering that, his prices are excellent value for the quality and expertise received. I liked that he has a bunch of galleries available for viewing, so that I could see consistent quality in how a whole wedding was shot rather than just a few cherry-picked photos. I could not find a photo I didn’t like in his portfolio. Which is why I booked Genovese Studios ASAP! On top of being a great photographer, Chris is a great person to work with. He is friendly, genuine, straightforward, calm, and professional. The customer service did not stop after he got our business. He is very responsive to emails and shares your concerns, taking time to explain things when needed. He was very flexible and understanding with us having to postpone our reception due to COVID-19. He was efficient at group portraits on wedding day. His second shooter was friendly and professional and got good shots as well. Turnaround time was fast. I am so happy with our wedding photos and the moments that were captured. I think the classic images will stand the test of time and someday be a cherished heirloom. We had our wedding this year on October 31st, 2020, and our engagement photos were done last year in 2019. Chris & his team were always there for the perfect shot, and the video that was put together for us is incredible.
