Our engagement photo session was comfortable and went well despite some short-term bad weather. Chris led the session but was also open to our ideas. Our family was so pleased by their services that they hired Vanessa to shoot my step sister's senior photos as well. We had a few photographer friends back out of taking our pictures pretty late in the planning, so we were searching for a photographer that could take our photos on pretty short notice. My wife found Chris’s studio on Google through an article about Best Photography in Houston, and sent him a message to inquire about his services. Not only were we impressed with how fast he got back to us, but how warm and accommodating he was with the ideas we had. We didn’t have a lot in mind, and we preferred more of a candid style and trusted his talent based on the galleries from his website. He assured us that this would not be a problem, nor our limited time that we had at our courthouse venue in Houston. He kept us updated with communication right up until we were ready to go, and he did not disappoint. I was immediately impressed and comforted when he showed up on-time (even early so we could get some shots before our time slot) with his camera gear ready to go. He asked us a few questions on some pictures we might want, and he worked out a quick plan outside our venue without hesitation and we got started. I could not have been happier with the whole situation after stressing out just weeks before without a photographer, and Chris delivered in spades. My wife looks absolutely gorgeous in every photo, and we have so many great shots of our special day to share with our family and friends. Chris was professional, talented and absolutely fair on the costs of his services. We weren’t in a hurry to get our pictures back, but he managed to deliver those quickly as well with the edits they needed. I really can’t say enough good things about Chris taking our photos. He was absolutely amazing every step of the way, and I hope you consider him for your wedding.

I was originally discontent with my bridal shots, partially due to the lighting (and partially due to factors outside of Chris's control), but he was able to resolve my concerns quickly with some editing. We got our wedding photos back in just under a month, and we were pleased with the quality and quantity of photos.

I feel like nowadays it’s easy for anyone to pick up a camera, throw on some filters, and overcharge people for photos. I liked that Chris was formally trained, and I liked his classic and timeless style. Considering that, his prices are excellent value for the quality and expertise received. I liked that he has a bunch of galleries available for viewing, so that I could see consistent quality in how a whole wedding was shot rather than just a few cherry-picked photos. I could not find a photo I didn’t like in his portfolio. Which is why I booked Genovese Studios ASAP! On top of being a great photographer, Chris is a great person to work with. He is friendly, genuine, straightforward, calm, and professional. The customer service did not stop after he got our business. He is very responsive to emails and shares your concerns, taking time to explain things when needed. He was very flexible and understanding with us having to postpone our reception due to COVID-19. He was efficient at group portraits on wedding day. His second shooter was friendly and professional and got good shots as well. Turnaround time was fast. I am so happy with our wedding photos and the moments that were captured. I think the classic images will stand the test of time and someday be a cherished heirloom. I can’t wait to work with Chris again for our wedding reception! Choosing Genovese Studios was one of the best decisions I made wedding planning (and I know my photographer dad is happy too). :)
