We also felt like they were immediately irritated with us on the initial consultation day. Would not recommend them at all, especially for the price of the rental. Stay farrrrr away.

wedding day. He helped me come up with ideas to help create a sharp looking wedding party. In addition to my own tuxedo, we rented tuxes for five groomsmen, an usher, my father, and my father-in-law. All of our tuxes fit great, looked snappy, and were quite comfortable to wear for an entire day. They have a great selection of tux/suit options here and multitude of accent colors. Since we rented so many tuxes, I received a custom-tailored suit, which looks great. Additionally, they picked up our rentals from the hotel the next day, which saved us the hassle of needing to drop them off. My wife and I were also able to take advantage of the discount they offered on wedding invitations, which really helped save some money from our budget. The rates at GQ are pretty comparable to other places, but the perks and service really make this place stand out. Thanks to Ed and the whole crew!

I was thrilled when I found GQ. They offered the personal, detailed attention that I was seeking. They are a family owned, small business. Their attention to detail and personal service is amazing. Look no further. This is the ideal place for formalwear. Their prices were good too!

All of our guys and our dads got fitted and had a good time getting their tux. They also picked up our guys' suits at our hotel! I would choose this place over other places ANYTIME. We worked with Donna out of Elmhurst and she was great during the try on, which I attended with the groom and best man. We ended up calling at least once during the period between then and the wedding- we had to add a tie for my brother who wasn't standing up, so he would kind of match the rest of the family in the photos. Didn't seem to be a problem. Now our order was a bit complicated. Groom and groomsmen wearing the same color suit, but different ties. Ring Bearer matches suit color, but vest and tie a third color. And then father of the groom wore a completely different color. So, when the day before the wedding arrived and we went to pick up my groom's tux the extra tie was missing, and the ring bearer's tie and vest were completely the wrong color. I am SO glad i went with to make sure everything was correct. it got straightened easily enough, and wedding went along beautifully, I assume they picked up the suits the next day with ease, as they didn't call and tell me otherwise! But, we kept waiting to hear that it was time for my groom to go pick out his free suit. nothing..nothing... so he finally had a minute to call today. We got married in May, and it's October, it's definitely been enough time, and I had read the reviews on yelp stating that Donna can be kind of hard to deal with and that you have to wait on the suit. She apparently got pretty heated at my husband and was upset that he waited so long to call and ask about it. We were told they would contact us, so that's a bit annoying. Anyway, he's supposed to get the suit sometime soon, and he's really happy. I would definitely recommend them, even with the mix ups. Just like anything, you have to check and double check!

The staff was very knowledgeable and really helpful. We ended up going with the Burgundy tuxes and they turned out great! Very high quality and stylish. I highly recommend GQ Formalwear to anyone looking to rent tuxes for their wedding.

We had multiple groomsmen who were out of town, and GQ helped ensure their measurements and rental were what we wanted. What we especially loved about GQ was that all the groomsmen had to do the following morning was leave their suit at the front desk of the hotel, and GQ picked up the suits; the groomsmen didn't have to worry about returning their suit to the GQ location. It was very convenient! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GQ Formalwear; they were great!

GQ had everyone try them on and made adjustments if needed for anyone who needed it (different size shirt, hem, etc.). Then they picked up the tuxes at the hotel the day after the wedding, so we didn't have to even drop them off! My husband also received a free custom suit! There were a few issues with the tuxes, causing me to only give them 4 stars. For example, there was a giant pen stain on my husband's shirt that was not noticed until about 2 hours before the wedding, too late to do anything about it. Also, one of the groomsmen's jacket had a button fall off before the ceremony started. Overall, we were very happy with GQ Formalwear's servies and would recommend them to anyone.

the woman who was in charge of making sure that everyone tried on their tuxes at Elmhurst sent some to Schaumburg even though she knew all the guys were picking up in Elmhurst. She threw a stink about it and my husband had to put his foot down, but other than that they were phenomenal. Loved th at-hotel pickup!

The people there were wonderful to work with. They advised well on getting tux fittings around the busy prom time. Meghan was great to work with when we were first trying on colors/patters/styles etc. My husband was in the Marines and his groomsmen that were out of state were able to send in their measurements with no hassle and everything fit perfectly! When we wanted to change the color of the undershirt to ivory (instead of white), it couldn’t have been easier and they handled it very well. I truly enjoyed working with Donna for the invitations and thank yous. She sent multiple drafts to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I am not usually picky, but she allowed me to feel free to share any detail and changed it accordingly. Ed, the owner, was unbelievably helpful in picking out Kevin’s free suit to keep. He stayed late and hemmed it for him right away. If you get a chance to work with GQ formalwear for your wedding (especially if they have the Fab Five deal or something close to it), we would definitely recommend them to you! You cannot get the specialized attention you do there at any other formalwear retailer.

original order, she turned out not to listen to us in the first place then claimed we were renigging on the contract when she was, she then changed our order with out our permission and then never gave us our free item and then complained about the free things she offered and gave us (mind you these are promotions they run and advertise and freely offered me with out my prompting such as free tuxedo for the groom, tuxedo pick-up at local hotel, choice of vest[which we did not get] free sports cufflinks [which we did not get]) she also gave me a hard time about the little ring bearer tuxedo (because she was worried that he was to young and too small despite documented sizes and she thought we were lying about his sizes [seriously why would we do that and why would his mom lie to me? she is my cousin for crying out loud]. Ed was really helpful and made things better he made sure everything was taken care of with the ring bearer, he upgraded my shoes and gave me a free hanchorcheif for my tuxedo jacket [he offered not me] he also made sure we got the free tuxedo pick-up that was forgotten by the lady. So the bottom line is that the product was great, the service was ok and for what was given the price was ok. Final note is if you go with this company go to the schaumburg location and deal with Ed only. The address is 601 Martingale Road Schaumburg, IL 60173 If it matters due to the problems with the lady I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, let alone my best friend and my closest of family. Use this place if yo need a place quick and its good for you r convenience. But do not use this if you expecting superb service all the time, and do everything you can to work with Ed he spends most of his time at the Schaumburg Location.
