George is so wonderful! I could not recommend him enough. We were supposed to be married in May 2020 until COVID hit. We re-scheduled to a super small backyard wedding a few months...
later and then a big celebration a year later. George was incredibly flexible for both. He was so much fun to talk to and work with and has just such a natural, fun musical talent. He was willing to learn songs and worked so well with us to make the music perfect. He was responsive and straight forward, we never felt like we couldn't get ahold of him quickly. He is one of those vendors that makes it feel like you're working directly with a friend who genuinely wants you to have a great wedding. And his music is awesome!!
We were so lucky to have George play guitar and sing before our wedding ceremony — he set the perfect tone for the day. His music created such a warm, fun, and relaxed vibe (as req...
uested) and so many of our guests commented on how amazing he was.
We’ve also seen George perform at a few friends’ weddings and in concert in various bands that he is part of, and he’s always incredible — super talented and so versatile for any occasion. I personally love his original songs, but always enjoy the spin he puts on any cover song or genre requested- particularly 90s pop or rap when I am requesting😜. He joined our DJ late night on the guitar (with permission) and it was one of our wedding highlights.
We can’t recommend George enough for any event — he’s professional, easy to work with, and brings such great energy to any event.
George Barrie Band was incredible! I asked for a few requests and they came through with all of those requests and nailed it. The rest of their set was so fun and kept people danci...
ng all night. Would hire them again in a heartbeat except that I don't plan to get married again lol
The George Barrie band was the PERFECT wedding band! I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They kept everyone dancing all night and covered a wide range of music. George played ...
our ceremony, cocktail hour and then the full band joined him for the reception. They all exceed our expectations times a million. We had a number of friends ask for their contact info and I know at least one had GBB play their wedding the following year. HIRE THIS BAND!
George and his band brought the energy me and my wife so desperately wanted for our wedding. The band not only MCed through the evening, they had their own equipment with high qual...
ity sound. George met with us prior to our wedding day to ensure our songs and sound were well-represented throughout the evening. George and his band are unlike any band in the area-unique sound/song choices, talented musicianship, and a band that is passionate and gets your family & friends dancing. No lie the band was so good people walking around outside of our venue wanted to come in and join the party. I can't recommend them enough.
George Barrie is a talented vocalist and guitar player he was very helpful with our event and even learned a few tunes for us! He comes highly recommended.
George Barrie and his band set the tone for our entire wedding! I could not recommend him more enthusiastically (and I have, to other couples who have also hired George and given h...
im rave reviews). George is more than just a talented guitarist and vocalist. He worked with us ahead of time to create a perfect setlist and learned several new songs that were special to us. On our big day, George played solo guitar for our ceremony, which was emotional and intimate. Then he turned up the tempo with the whole band for our reception, and everyone was out on the dance floor! He was also an incredible MC who kept the event on track and the vibes high. I truly cannot say enough great things about George Barrie, and I can’t imagine having anyone else provide the soundtrack to our wedding.
