They worked with our budget and provided us with an amazing photographer— Nikki! She made a freezing cold day in February fun and blended right in with our family—she captured so many great moments! We are so impressed with all aspects of George Street. They help you plan and discuss your needs and wants for the day. Our photographer was great and we are so pleased with the quality of our photos! We could not have had a better experience!

At the event, the photographers and videographers were kind, supportive and infinitely thoughtful and creative about the kinds of images they were looking for. ke George Street for photo/video. To be fair, you get a good deal for the amount you're spending compared to other photo/video vendors, but it also means compromise. You won't get the photos back for 8+ weeks. There was also many unusable photos that they sent - blurry photos, outtakes, bad composition, bad lighting - clearly they sent EVERYTHING instead of "hand editing" like they pitched to us initially. The wedding video was pretty lackluster and generic, and took them another 12+ weeks to finish. Their editing portal was so cumbersome that we ended up getting the footage sent to us and editing the video on our own. They're a perfectly fine company, and we have many good photos, but if you really care about the photo/video component, I'd spring for a company that isn't quite so tied into the "wedding industrial complex" of generic and so-so quality.

We had some mishaps where we were sent the wrong photographers to choose from twice which was frustrating but in the end, we were able to work with our first choice photographer. We didn’t get to connect with our photographer until our engagement session so I highly recommend doing this session before your wedding to get to know your photographer and see their work with you. We had an amazing time with Andrea during our engagement session and loved our photos. She got everything we wanted and then some! We didn’t know who our second shooter was until we met them the day of our wedding and we didn’t know who our videographer was until they called us a couple days before our wedding. I do wish that we were able to watch samples of the videographers work and pick based off that but we ended up loving Chris’ work in the end. The only other mishap and why I’m not giving 5 stars is that the consultants reached out to me 3 days before our wedding to say we owed more money for changing our wedding location, which we did not. I then got contacted by the photographer and videographer separately to go over details even though I had put our wedding planner as point of contact while we were trying to enjoy our Bach Party. It was stressful to have these conversations 3 days before the wedding especially the consultant demanding more money for changing our venue which was a misunderstanding as when we booked with them, we hadn’t chosen a venue yet so they just had us put a random venue to finish the booking and told us to contact them back once we solidified our venue which we did not even 2 weeks after having booked with them over a year and a half before our wedding. I know that all sounds bad, but overall it was a very supportive and great process and they figured out the clerical issue without contacting me again. Our experience the day of the wedding was fantastic and I would absolutely re-hire our photographers and videographer. I hope this is helpful information for anyone who is on the fence about choosing George Street Photography.

aving the opportunity to meet our day-of photographer until the day of the wedding, however that turned out to be such a non-issue! Cat and I spoke two days before the wedding and we were incredibly similar and had the same vision. The day-of the wedding, she was on-time and immediately took everything into her own hands. Guests of the wedding still rave about how much she was and what great shots she got. I couldn't recommend George Street (and specifically Cat!) enough!

Nicole to shoot our wedding, based on her portfolio. We were then setup with Nicole and were in contact with her a few days before the wedding to coordinate any final details. Our photographer, Nicole, was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. After the wedding, we received our photos about 3-4 weeks later and were very impressed with all of the thousands of photos we received.

e no touch-ups included. In addition, I was disappointed in the lighting as some pictures were quite dark. We would have been better off buying throw away cameras and putting them on each table. In fact it would have been cheaper and we may have ended up with better photos. The photographer took a million pictures of our rings and not enough of the guests. The large photo on the dance floor with the entire group was missing along with ALL the photos she pulled my husband and I aside for during our reception. We wasted 45 minutes outside in the cold taking photos because it was, "a magical lighting time for photographers" and they never delivered them. That was 45 minutes we could have spent with our guests who left early. During the process I had to fill out forms twice, spoke with three different people, then when I finally spoke with the photographer, it was like none of the information had been relayed. Beware of the extra costs like providing food for the photographer because they can't bring their own lunches and if you don't provide one, they will take an hour out of capturing moments you want to remember and treasure because anything less, like a 30 minute lunch is not okay. Lastly, they took almost 3 months to send me the photos. Any other recent bride I have spoken with has been appalled! Don't hire them!

the big day and cancelling since it's a company that has other employees that could fill in if needed. Absolutely loved the 2 photographers (lead- Erinn and associate- Sara) and our videographer (Chris). Erinn and Chris easily caught onto our personalities and seemed to really play into that for the shots they took after our ceremony. We just recently got some "teaser" photos emailed and they are beautiful! We are really looking forward to receiving the rest of the photos and our video! Thank you George Street!

foreseen emergency circumstances and everyone was amazing about making sure it was all taken care of and I was comfortable. Also there were some edited photos that I liked. I contacted them asked for some specific photos be edits. They responded very quickly and edited them. Great customer service! I have a couple suggestions for improvement: - take more candid photos. We got some great photos but they were all us faking candid and actually posed. I wrote a letter to my mom and she read it, cried, and we hugged and touched foreheads etc, but the photographer got distracted and only took a couple photos. Beautiful but would have loved that to be more fully documented. Also with the posed photos. There are only one or two photos of each posed photo. I wish she had taken a couple more each time because my family is not very photogenic and it would have looked way more natural if we stayed in the position and interacted a little more rather than "you four stand here, photo, move out." - A little more attention to detail. I had beaded sleeves and one of the strands of beads fell. Half of the portrait pictures are of that side and dont look great. I should have noticed and adjusted, but would have really appreciated if the photographer noticed and just had me stand on the opposite side of my husband for the photos. Also for the posed photos we were often not remotely centered on the stair case, or all the tall people were on one side, or there were back packs/piles of things to the side of us standing. I realize the natural candid photos this happens, but for the posed family photos, I would have appreciated a little more attention to detail and artistic layout. Overall great photos and customer service though!

George Street made the whole process very simple and seamless. We loved how we could create an online plan for our wedding day to provide direction to our photographer and to let her know of any particular people/moments we wanted captured. The editors at George Street did an incredible job as well. We would highly recommend George Street to anyone!

They did all the planning, even gave us suggestions for engagment photo locations. I am so excited and cant wait.

s we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.

before the wedding and made sure that we had all the photos we wanted planned out before the event (and of course, had lots of suggestions!). During the wedding, the photographer captured all of the moments that we wanted and more. Everything turned out really well, and we couldn't have worked with a better vendor!

being a photographer myself. As I started to read reviews, my thoughts became negative towards George Street. I stressed for almost a year on my choice. The week of my wedding, I spoke with Shannon the Photographer. She is seriously the sweetest lady. She calmed down my nerves and negative thoughts toward GSP. The day before the wedding rain was in the forecast. I kept in touch with Shannon on a plan B to have photos at the Hotel instead of the actual Venue since it was outside. The day of the wedding we decided to do the photos at the hotel. She came up with a new timeline and sent it to me. She met every single expectation, I had. She was kind, generous and made sure I was comfortable and everyone else was! I got a sneak peak of the photos and I am so happy I went with Shannon and George Street!
