We have had a very hard time working with George Street, you don't have one point of contact, you aren't able to speak with the photographers/videographer until a few days before your wedding, and it seems there is no communication between them and the editing team. If we didn't get back a ton of pics (most unedited but still) I would have given 1 star. The sales lady DRASTICALLY oversold what they could do and as soon as we made our first payment they back tracked on what she sold. We left extremely detailed info for what we wanted to capture in the wedding photos/videos, as they requested in their form. Most of it was not captured. They lost footage from a stationery camera from our ceremony and some footage wasn't even submitted it seems. The video is terrible, it looks worse than most phone clips we got. Awkwardly zoomed in 80% of the time, shaky the ENTIRE time, a lot of stuff missing. I could go on.. I have given them 6/7 months to fix some of my concerns before posting this review.. so far we are still disappointed with the product and support.

We were so happy with the entire experience at George Street Photo and Video. They are professional and provided outstanding communication from the moment we first contacted them. They worked with our budget and provided us with an amazing photographer— Nikki! She made a freezing cold day in February fun and blended right in with our family—she captured so many great moments! We are so impressed with all aspects of George Street. They help you plan and discuss your needs and wants for the day. We were so pleased with our entire experience with George Street! Our lead photographer, assistant photographer, and videographer were professional, timely, and artistic. We received our photos exactly four weeks after the wedding, and received our videos three months after - all just as we were quoted! Our direct contact with George Street (aka wedding coordinator), was extremely responsive and helpful as well. Amazing price for the value of the results! We would definitely recommend George Street!

All I can say is WOW! I was apprehensive at first to use George Street for wedding photography and videography due to not understanding how it all worked. I soon had a zoom meeting with a representative who answered all of my questions and made it seem super easy! We were able to pick our photographer based on some of her photos. We got an hour and a half engagement shoot session with our package at the location of our choice! Our photographer was AMAZING and was basically my second maid of honor. Her work is beautiful and I’m so glad we chose her. Our wedding video is perfect and we are so excited to have it for years to come. Not only did we have an amazing photographer and videographer, but we also had a virtual wedding coordinator who would answer any question we have within hours of asking the question. We are so glad we chose George Street - not only were our expectations exceeded with what we received, but it was an amazing deal for everything we got! We would definitely recommend.

George Street was the photographer and videographer of choice for our wedding (Senika and Paul) this past June. We recently received the finished, edited videos and they were really, truly wonderful. We expected a record of our wedding, but what we received was something we can watch time and time again to bring forth those romantic memories and remind ourselves of just how special we are together. At the event, the photographers and videographers were kind, supportive and infinitely thoughtful and creative about the kinds of images they were looking for. They provided something that was inspirational and uniquely us. :-)

We hired George Street for our photography and videography for our wedding! They were great to work with! Our engagement session with our lead photographer was so much fun, and she continued to be so great on our wedding day! Our videographer was also amazing and even stayed late to finish out our night, which was so sweet! There were several blurry photos, but other than that, the product has been great!

Our photos turned out amazing! Chelsea was our main photographer and Donte was our assistant photographer. They worked so well together. Chelsea went above and beyond what we could have imagined to get us the most perfect photos. By the end of the night, Chelsea became a friend and not just our photographer. I am in love with all my photos.

We had a great experience with George Street Photography and especially the photographer and her associate. The took what ended up being very little direction for our vision and gave us a phenomenal finished product. When you plan a wedding, you need to figure out what you REALLY care about and spend $ there. For us, it was food, music, and the bar - which meant we went for a cheaper company like George Street for photo/video. To be fair, you get a good deal for the amount you're spending compared to other photo/video vendors, but it also means compromise. You won't get the photos back for 8+ weeks. There was also many unusable photos that they sent - blurry photos, outtakes, bad composition, bad lighting - clearly they sent EVERYTHING instead of "hand editing" like they pitched to us initially. The wedding video was pretty lackluster and generic, and took them another 12+ weeks to finish. Their editing portal was so cumbersome that we ended up getting the footage sent to us and editing the video on our own. They're a perfectly fine company, and we have many good photos, but if you really care about the photo/video component, I'd spring for a company that isn't quite so tied into the "wedding industrial complex" of generic and so-so quality.

We loved the convenience of hiring a videographer and photographer all in one. It is an interesting process as you speak with a consultant at first to decide a package and cost. They were able to match our budget which was a huge win for us. We had some mishaps where we were sent the wrong photographers to choose from twice which was frustrating but in the end, we were able to work with our first choice photographer. We didn’t get to connect with our photographer until our engagement session so I highly recommend doing this session before your wedding to get to know your photographer and see their work with you. We had an amazing time with Andrea during our engagement session and loved our photos. She got everything we wanted and then some! We didn’t know who our second shooter was until we met them the day of our wedding and we didn’t know who our videographer was until they called us a couple days before our wedding. I do wish that we were able to watch samples of the videographers work and pick based off that but we ended up loving Chris’ work in the end. The only other mishap and why I’m not giving 5 stars is that the consultants reached out to me 3 days before our wedding to say we owed more money for changing our wedding location, which we did not. I then got contacted by the photographer and videographer separately to go over details even though I had put our wedding planner as point of contact while we were trying to enjoy our Bach Party. It was stressful to have these conversations 3 days before the wedding especially the consultant demanding more money for changing our venue which was a misunderstanding as when we booked with them, we hadn’t chosen a venue yet so they just had us put a random venue to finish the booking and told us to contact them back once we solidified our venue which we did not even 2 weeks after having booked with them over a year and a half before our wedding. I know that all sounds bad, but overall it was a very supportive and great process and they figured out the clerical issue without contacting me again. Our experience the day of the wedding was fantastic and I would absolutely re-hire our photographers and videographer. I hope this is helpful information for anyone who is on the fence about choosing George Street Photography.

George Street was very organized with the portal and being able to set up a plan for the entire day. Our head photographer Rich was great and even willing to try some different shots that my husband and I suggested. Our Associated Photographer and Videographer were also great. They called the week before to clear out any questions I may have had. The entire team helped calm my nerves whenever I had them! Overall great experience.

We could not have been happier with George Street and our photographer Laura! Extremely easy to work with, and felt like part of the family during the wedding. We had a huge wedding party and she was so patient and kind getting everyone together for family photos. The pictures turned out amazing. I wouldn't recommend any other company or photographer.

George Street sent an amazing photographer, videographer and assistant to shoot my wedding. They did a phenomenal job. We love the video and all of the pictures were amazing. Our photographer went above and beyond by going into the lake to get just the right shot with the sun and mountains in the background. They were so nice and very professional and really made the picture taking process smooth and easy. George Street was so simple to work with from beginning to end. Our wedding coordinator was fantastic and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I was nervous about not having the opportunity to meet our day-of photographer until the day of the wedding, however that turned out to be such a non-issue! Cat and I spoke two days before the wedding and we were incredibly similar and had the same vision. The day-of the wedding, she was on-time and immediately took everything into her own hands. Guests of the wedding still rave about how much she was and what great shots she got. I couldn't recommend George Street (and specifically Cat!) enough!

We were so pleased with how George Street handled our wedding and in setting up the perfect photographer for us. After sending us portfolios for multiple photographers and we chose Nicole to shoot our wedding, based on her portfolio. We were then setup with Nicole and were in contact with her a few days before the wedding to coordinate any final details. Our photographer, Nicole, was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. After the wedding, we received our photos about 3-4 weeks later and were very impressed with all of the thousands of photos we received.

This company sucks. They are very disorganized. Worst of all they LOST numerous photos!!! The photos we received were okay, but not quality enough based on what we paid. There were no touch-ups included. In addition, I was disappointed in the lighting as some pictures were quite dark. We would have been better off buying throw away cameras and putting them on each table. In fact it would have been cheaper and we may have ended up with better photos. The photographer took a million pictures of our rings and not enough of the guests. The large photo on the dance floor with the entire group was missing along with ALL the photos she pulled my husband and I aside for during our reception. We wasted 45 minutes outside in the cold taking photos because it was, "a magical lighting time for photographers" and they never delivered them. That was 45 minutes we could have spent with our guests who left early. During the process I had to fill out forms twice, spoke with three different people, then when I finally spoke with the photographer, it was like none of the information had been relayed. Beware of the extra costs like providing food for the photographer because they can't bring their own lunches and if you don't provide one, they will take an hour out of capturing moments you want to remember and treasure because anything less, like a 30 minute lunch is not okay. Lastly, they took almost 3 months to send me the photos. Any other recent bride I have spoken with has been appalled! Don't hire them!

George Street were wonderful to work with in the lead up to the wedding and our team of photographers and videographer were fantastic on the day! We are over the moon with our photos so if these are an indication of the video we will have an amazing package to look back on for years to come.

We loved George St. from the beginning. My now husband and I knew we made the right choice with this photographer after our engagement photoshoot last year. The photographers and videographer really went above and beyond to make sure they got the shot, yet still making us feel comfortable behind the camera. The photos really capture our true emotions and the video is so masterfully done, we can let the memories live on forever!

Consultation and website profile made it easy to communicate specific needs and wants. Didn't have to worry about a photographer or videographer getting sick/having an emergency on the big day and cancelling since it's a company that has other employees that could fill in if needed. Absolutely loved the 2 photographers (lead- Erinn and associate- Sara) and our videographer (Chris). Erinn and Chris easily caught onto our personalities and seemed to really play into that for the shots they took after our ceremony. We just recently got some "teaser" photos emailed and they are beautiful! We are really looking forward to receiving the rest of the photos and our video! Thank you George Street!

We love our wedding photos! So many beautiful ones! Everyone was very responsive to my emails and was very efficient and proactive. There was a staff change up the day of due to unforeseen emergency circumstances and everyone was amazing about making sure it was all taken care of and I was comfortable. Also there were some edited photos that I liked. I contacted them asked for some specific photos be edits. They responded very quickly and edited them. Great customer service! I have a couple suggestions for improvement: - take more candid photos. We got some great photos but they were all us faking candid and actually posed. I wrote a letter to my mom and she read it, cried, and we hugged and touched foreheads etc, but the photographer got distracted and only took a couple photos. Beautiful but would have loved that to be more fully documented. Also with the posed photos. There are only one or two photos of each posed photo. I wish she had taken a couple more each time because my family is not very photogenic and it would have looked way more natural if we stayed in the position and interacted a little more rather than "you four stand here, photo, move out." - A little more attention to detail. I had beaded sleeves and one of the strands of beads fell. Half of the portrait pictures are of that side and dont look great. I should have noticed and adjusted, but would have really appreciated if the photographer noticed and just had me stand on the opposite side of my husband for the photos. Also for the posed photos we were often not remotely centered on the stair case, or all the tall people were on one side, or there were back packs/piles of things to the side of us standing. I realize the natural candid photos this happens, but for the posed family photos, I would have appreciated a little more attention to detail and artistic layout. Overall great photos and customer service though!

We got married this past April in Evergreen, CO and we absolutely loved our photographer Erinn! She was so sweet, very professional, and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. She did both our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn’t be more pleased. Erinn and the associate photographer did a wonderful job and took excellent photos. George Street made the whole process very simple and seamless. We loved how we could create an online plan for our wedding day to provide direction to our photographer and to let her know of any particular people/moments we wanted captured. The editors at George Street did an incredible job as well. We would highly recommend George Street to anyone!

Although my wedding is not here yet, the process that George Street has has been great. They have great packages and everything available for you in one place. We got to talk to them and see different photogropher's portfolios and found our perfect match. We also have the perfect opportunity to meet out photographer for engagment photos which will allow our photographer to get to know us and our styles. They did all the planning, even gave us suggestions for engagment photo locations. I am so excited and cant wait.

Our photographer was great to work with! She captured some amazing shots without being noticeable, which is exactly what we wanted. Our only wish was that she was more directive during the family photo section in particular, in effort to take some pressure off of us on our big day. But overall, wonderful company to work with!

We had Carlo swoop in as our photographer at the very last minute when we received word about an emergency with the original photographer we had booked. I felt a bit apprehensive as we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

We got married in April of this year and our Videographer, Paul, did a FANTASTIC job. One major thing for us is that we wanted the videographer to just capture the day like a fly on the wall. He did exactly that. Even though we only had 1 videographer, he was able to capture so many angles and moments. It was seriously amazing. I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

We absolutely loved our photographer, Milena! She was easy to work with and the photos turned out stunningly beautiful and came back in a month! The only negative was that we were never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.

They were always very prompt in answering all of our questions before the wedding and made sure that we had all the photos we wanted planned out before the event (and of course, had lots of suggestions!). During the wedding, the photographer captured all of the moments that we wanted and more. Everything turned out really well, and we couldn't have worked with a better vendor!

Sarah D was our lead photographer who took our engagement and wedding photos, and we absolutely loved her! My husband and I both had never had professional photos taken so we were both a little nervous. Sarah made sure to walk us through the process and made the experience fun, so we were able to relax and really be ourselves. George Street was wonderful. You initially talk to a sales rep who shows you the portfolios of several photographers dutch availability on your day. You choose the one you want and it goes from there. We were given a few options and were immediately captivated by David's photojournalistic style. I felt extremely comfortable on our wedding day, and Iam typically pretty camera shy. David is a true professional. Would highly recommend.

I was all excited to have George Street as my Photographer choice. I booked them asap and got my photographer picked. I started to read reviews. To me photos are the biggest thing, being a photographer myself. As I started to read reviews, my thoughts became negative towards George Street. I stressed for almost a year on my choice. The week of my wedding, I spoke with Shannon the Photographer. She is seriously the sweetest lady. She calmed down my nerves and negative thoughts toward GSP. The day before the wedding rain was in the forecast. I kept in touch with Shannon on a plan B to have photos at the Hotel instead of the actual Venue since it was outside. The day of the wedding we decided to do the photos at the hotel. She came up with a new timeline and sent it to me. She met every single expectation, I had. She was kind, generous and made sure I was comfortable and everyone else was! I got a sneak peak of the photos and I am so happy I went with Shannon and George Street!

We used George Street Photos for our wedding and our photographer Sandra was phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She took so many beautiful candid photographs and gave direction to make our pictures look both beautiful and natural. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.

This review is so difficult to make because I am torn about our experience with them. We had a relatively good experience with GS, especially with photos, but we had major issues with regards to video. We did our engagement photo shoot in Boston with Jessica, who was an absolute delight to work with. She also did photos for our wedding, along with Sergio. They were both amazing, and the photos came out great. We loved them. With video, due to religious/cultural preferences, we asked for a female videographer. However, we were first assigned a male (I found out by accident actually). At first they didn't budge about changing the videographer, and when they did find a female, they wanted to charge me a travel fee for her. At this point, it wasn't about the money - it was about the principle. As your customer, you should have figured things out on your end without getting me involved. Eventually, they gave in and took care of the travel fee. The day of the wedding - all goes well with video. Kendra was so sweet and managed to catch all the important footage of the evening. However, before the videos went for editing, I made some requests from the editors for things not to include in the highlight video. They've sent it to me twice, not taking into account those requests both times. It's now been 7 months since our wedding, and I still have not gotten that video. I'm pretty tired of waiting at this point, and just hope that someday they'll remember to send the corrected video to me.

The hardest part was picking the photographer! Brian was positive, energetic, and funny. We made an album of our favorite moments.

I got married in NYC on 8/18/18 and George Street Photo was there to capture the best night of my life. From the beginning, Chelsea has been so great. Every time I had a question or emailed her about anything she responded promptly. It was no trouble at all being in Florida and setting everything up from here. My photographer was Carlo and he was AMAZING!!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He was professional, courteous, on time, but most importantly he was so accommodating! Every idea that popped into my head for a picture, he ran with. Everyone loved him. He took the most beautiful pictures and never said no to any of my wacky ideas. I am so grateful to them and so happy that I chose them for my big day!!

We used George Street videography and photography for our September 2018 wedding and couldn’t be happier! From our initial meeting to our wedding day they were great at communicating and keeping us in the loop on all details! Our photographer was Joseph and our photos came out beautiful!! From posed shots to candids, he truly captured the day! George street was quick to get us photos sending us a sneak peek within days and all of our photos within two weeks! Our videographer was also great, and was there for every shot. We can’t wait to see how it turns out!

If you like playing Russian Roulette, then this the choice for you! You choose a contracted photographer at random. The only factor you really have to base your decision is a handful of photos (the best of the best edits) by said photographer. Once you make your barely educated guess on a photographer you are locked in. A videographer will be given to you at random about a month before the wedding. They'll jokingly ask your opinion on specific shots you would like during the wedding. I say jokingly because they may or may not get the shots you asked for. I wanted a shot of my husband's face when he saw me coming down the aisle. We had TWO photographers and neither of them got that shot. This is only one of the few requests I made that was disregarded. I'm not even sure why we had a second photographer other than to have her photo bomb what would have been decent pictures. I gave specifics on family dynamics that should be avoided, this too was disregarded leading to awkward, avoidable situations. The pictures you do receive will be unedited and untouched up, basic things like cropping out the 2nd photographer. When we raised our concerns we were only given 50 free edits and an album of random pics that they deemed too dark/overexposed, and honestly you can never get the moments back to capture them at that point. We were told that we would be able to review the footage and make edits to the music in the video before it would be finalized. NOPE! One day we received an email saying our package was on the way and a video was shipped to us. The music skips in the video, transitions are awkward, etc. I cant wait to see how the album turns out... AVOID GEORGE STREET AT ALL COSTS!

We just got married in May and I would recommend George Street to anyone - already have recommended them to someone! Planning the wedding was so stressful and trying to find a photographer that knew what they were doing but not pricey was difficult. I found George Street looking through The Knot and saw that not only were the pictures great quality but also for an affordable price! Most communication was with the wedding coordinator but she was very helpful in answering questions and it was great that they have you fill in all the info for the day of so that a timeline was made up for the photographer. My photographer Konrad knew exactly what he was doing. It was pretty hot out that day but he was so patient in taking our pictures and he captured so many great candids which is what I wanted! Definitely recommended going with George Street!

We had Tiago from George Street take our photos and it was a great experience. I am not comfortable in front of the camera AT ALL. I told this to him when we first met and he made sure to direct us when were taking our photos as a couple. And for the rest of night, I didn't even know he was there. When we first met Robert, our photographer, we clicked. He was punctual to our engagements photo's and even early the day of our wedding! He was great! He knew exactly what I wanted without even having to ask or tell him. The groom and groomsmen had the associate photographer, Arthur, and they had so many good words about him. He was like another groomsmen, from what the groom told me. He got along great with every, took funny pictures. The videographer, was was great too! The best part about him was that he blended in with everyone at the wedding. It wasn't like the typical videographer that has a huge set up all in everyone's business. He was subtle. I can't wait to see the video. They were all amazing!
