e was polite, professional, friendly, and talented. We met our lead photographer ahead of time and worked with her on an engagement shoot, which I highly recommend doing. The team collaborated well the day of the wedding and made our experience very pleasant. We received photos within a few weeks, and they were absolutely astounding! We received the video and highlight reel about 2 months after, and it was well worth the wait - the footage was breathtaking and captured our day perfectly. Nora and the other wedding coordinators were extremely pleasant to work with throughout the process. Nora answered questions promptly and with great attention to detail. I highly recommend hiring George Street for wedding services!

Street utilizes a web portal for the purposes of planning the photos you’d like, as well as selection and scheduling the photography/videography team. We worked with Nelson and Elyse as our photographers, and Matthew as our videographer. Nelson took our engagement photographs and they came out great! Nelson had great ideas for poses, angles, and backgrounds, and we were so pleased with how the photos came out. Come wedding day, we started with ‘getting ready’ shots at the hotel, and both Nelson and Matthew captured great still shots and video footage of the girls and guys getting ready. The whole team then met us at our first look location, and took some great shots leading all the way up to the first look, then made sure they really captured the beauty of the first look itself between my wife and I. Afterwards, the team was well organized and made sure we got all our photos with combinations of family and bridal party before heading to the venue. Getting into the ceremony, the whole team maintained a perfect distance and we didn’t feel crowded or interrupted at all. Following the ceremony, the team’s organization continued with post-ceremony pictures with family, bridal party, and friends. The team also coordinated with our DJ during a ‘photo blitz’ to get photos with each table in a really rapid and fun format. During the reception, the team worked great to make sure we got photos with the guests, and often only needed to make eye contact with us before coming over to make sure we got the shot. We haven’t seen the photos or footage from the wedding day yet, but if they’re anything like the engagement photos, they’ll be excellent. ctory phone call was perfect. My only gripe was that after we signed the contract to go with George St., we really didn’t hear anything back until the week before the wedding. There’s a lot of pressure and stress that goes on during the week before a wedding and maybe I’m just a bit paranoid but would’ve liked to hear from our photographer a little bit sooner next time, perhaps a month. Again, during our wedding ceremony, the reception, and all the updates we received after the fact were a great experience and helpful. The final results were breathtaking and left my and my wife teary eyed all over again. I would absolutely recommend them to any other prospective couples who need a great photographer for a very reasonable price!

ith Heidi, our lead photographer, several times before the wedding, including on a detailed phone call a few days prior. Ken, our videographer, was also super helpful and had a phone call with me leading up to the wedding. All in all, George Street was just what we were looking for in a wedding photographer/videographer package!

s for our lead photographer. He was unable to really get all of the photos we were looking for. The locations were poorly chosen; as opposed to having the beautiful foliage background on the lake, many of our photos are centered around a patchy grass area. Looking back, maybe I could have spoken up, but you are so overwhelmed on your wedding day, it can be difficult to find a voice! While going through the photos, there are many I love, but I found it disheartening when I had trouble finding just one appropriate enough for our thank you card. The photographs could have been photoshopped to remove certain elements (ie: fire alarm, boxes, etc). I do not feel there were personal touches to the editing standpoint; maybe some increased saturation and better lighting. I do not walk away from my wedding day completely disappointed, but I am not entirely thrilled. Not having a second photographer caused a huge delay in timing, ideas, and a second pair of eyes. I also think trying to coordinate with the bride only 1-2 days prior to the wedding for a photography list is not adequate timing. I'm unsure of the importance of creating a timeline on the website when I'm not entirely sure the photographer even looks at it. Overall, I would say 3.5/5 stars.
