Most communication was with the wedding coordinator but she was very helpful in answering questions and it was great that they have you fill in all the info for the day of so that a timeline was made up for the photographer. My photographer Konrad knew exactly what he was doing. It was pretty hot out that day but he was so patient in taking our pictures and he captured so many great candids which is what I wanted! Definitely recommended going with George Street!

n had the associate photographer, Arthur, and they had so many good words about him. He was like another groomsmen, from what the groom told me. He got along great with every, took funny pictures. The videographer, was was great too! The best part about him was that he blended in with everyone at the wedding. It wasn't like the typical videographer that has a huge set up all in everyone's business. He was subtle. I can't wait to see the video. They were all amazing!

ky to review the entire process. To be clear, our photographers got a number of memorable photos. However, the process with George Street (the entity) was clumsy, confusing and filled with mistakes. Our coordinator changed on emails (George Street blamed that on an email-merge error on their end), and we were never able to get our coordinator on the phone. It's simply a call bank of random GS employees who type your info into their database. George Street makes you fill out an extensive form to ensure they meet your needs, yet much of that form info was not relayed to the photographer. So we missed out on things like table photos from people who traveled long distances for the wedding. Again, we enjoyed the photographers. I simply wish we could have worked with them independently instead of the awkward, mistake-prone bureaucracy of George Street. The photographers were good but GS was bad, so I'm doing 3 stars to average it out.

has a great eye for creating beautiful photos. For the wedding itself, working with her continued to be a breeze. Honestly, she knew when to insert herself such that we would know to capture key moments but then also knew when to fade back and let us take everything in (without us even noticing that she was continuing to capture everything). As for George Street itself, they were easy to work with and their web portal was professional and easy to use.

responsive, and understanding of my unfortunate experience with our lead photographer (George Street did everything they could to make it right). That being said, our lead photographer was HORRIBLE. She was absolutely the worst part of my wedding day, and ruined the photographic experience for me. We chose her based on her portfolio, since the venue shown was similar to what ours would be (which was in Scottsdale, AZ in March), and we liked her candid photography style. We were told she would contact us a week in advance of the wedding, and instead she called THE DAY BEFORE the wedding, as we were on our way to our rehearsal dinner. When we met her the day of, she was extremely aggressive, did not listen to anyone and did not take the feedback or photo requests into consideration for what we wanted captured. She was very clearly uncomfortable with photographing outside, and did not take advantage of the landscape the gorgeous venue had to offer (we paid a lot of money for the venue that wasn't photographed properly). She also didn't get ANY photos of me, the bride, on my wedding day. I asked for portraits and the only solo shots she got of me were in the horribly-lit dressing room as I was getting ready. When it came time for family portraits, she was so uncomfortable with the setting and sunlight that she forced all of us against a brick wall with ugly foliage in the background, claiming that she “needed shade” and the "dappled lighting will look terrible" (it was an outdoor wedding…in sunny AZ…). Meanwhile, our assistant photographer was WONDERFUL to work with and took gorgeous photos in EVERY type of lighting the venue had to offer--she saved the day. Unfortunately, I did not know she would take the better photos so she was assigned to the groom/groomsmen, and the "lead" photographer was assigned to me. I desperately wish it had been the other way around, since I feel like I got jipped on my wedding day. She then didn't provide us with a ton of the photos we had taken and posed for afterwards, so we had to beg to access those via George Street, and sadly they were not worth the wait. I am heartbroken and devastated about my photography experience on my wedding day. We cannot recreate the moments or the memories, and we left without anything to commemorate the event in the way we wanted. Having to schedule separate portrait sessions AFTER YOUR WEDDING because your lead photographer is incompetent on the actual day is unacceptable. I appreciated the second portrait session being comped by GS and being given the opportunity to work with my first portrait photographer again, but it wasn't the same since we were back in Boston, and our wedding was in Arizona. All around an extremely disappointing experience that can never truly be made up for.

The photographer missed a few photo opportunities that we were hoping to get, and we didn't feel like there was enough fun photos showing our personality - I guess I was hoping to get more guidance from her on this portion. But the photos she did take are stunning and made us look great and for that we are very happy!

We had a whole beautiful historic mansion, and the person only took our pictures in two locations (literally one room, and one spot outside). No interesting, creative, natural looking 'poses' were suggested. We were basically standing in one spot the whole time, which left for very little variety in our pics. I thought we had communicated prior to the wedding what we wanted, but maybe there was a misunderstanding. The other thing we were disappointed about was the fact that there were many guests that were not even pictured. The whole point of having two photogs was to make sure all the guests were captured at some point. We didn't need 1000s of pictures of us, we needed pictures of our loved ones sharing in the moment with us.

However, the actual company is disorganized and difficult to contact. The first photographer we were set to work with upon signing our contract never contacted us, and when we contacted our coordinator, she was less than helpful. It took us two months past when we originally wanted to have our engagement photos done to get them. After that it was better, but communication could be improved.

On the day of the wedding, he was joined by the secondary photographer and lead videographer, Kent to capture special moments prior to the ceremony, our vows, portraits and guests enjoying the wedding reception. I also hired a separate photographer, Jessica Layton for a bridal boudoir photo session. Thank you all for helping create lasting memories!

From our engagement pictures to our wedding pictures to our video that rolled in a few months after the wedding - 10/10. missing HUGE moments from wedding day that were specifically asked for beforehand, having to reach out multi times because we never received our wedding video after almost 9 months, and even a year later having our pictures reposted on our back up photographer personal IG account without consent (the only reason we found out is because a friend knew the person, we had no idea who they were). George Street is "great" with answering emails and calls but horrible with everything else. We even did an engagement shoot with our photographer and she was great, then when it came to wedding day she was HORRIBLE. No effort put into pictures, sour attitude the whole time, and missed huge moments. We had requested shots to be taken at a dock at our venue during cocktail hour, and she did not communicate with us or venue about it at all so we missed opportunity because of another wedding starting at the end of our cocktail hour. She missed cake cutting kiss picture, horrible angels during ceremony, missed front shot of grooms face when bride walked down isle (requested). The list goes on. All that was offered to us was additional edits ( you can't edit pictures that were not take). My best friend also used company, thats why we went with them and they had a better experience but truly cannot believe all the problems we have had! DO NOT USE

ve a detailed description of how we wanted our special day to be captured. They set you up with the type of photographer and videographer that best fits your vision and style. We had Bob as our main photographer (and Eddie as his associate). He captured both the candid and non-candid moments of our day beautifully. When we received the pictures, we were blown away by the moments they captured especially candid moments of our guests that was an important request of ours. He was also able to capture some of the personal details of our wedding which we appreciated. They both also made us feel comfortable throughout the process. We have our leatherbound album that comes with the package and it's truly beautiful and professionally made. These are the snap shot memories we love looking back on! We also had Zach as our videographer who was also able to capture all the perfect moments of our wedding. He captured our wedding from all different angles as best as he could since he was working solo. It was impressive! We have seen our video about 10 times now with and without our family and have enjoyed reliving the moments. I would definitely not pass up the opportunity to work with George Street as they provide affordable packages for both photography and video, with such great talent!

She knew nothing about our venue or anything and honestly seemed like an amateur. She gave us no real direction and it was just a mess. This is THE ONLY regret from my wedding, and sad because it's something you can never get back! Don't go with this company! Trust me!

ck of one-on-one personal service. About two weeks before the wedding, we were able to schedule a call with our photographer, Alexandra Knight, who was absolutely wonderful to work with. During the pre-wedding call, she listened carefully to our specific thoughts and requests. The day of the wedding, she was charming and fun, but gave us clear direction and feedback to make sure that our photos turned out great. She was mindful of the schedule, which we greatly appreciated, but still flexible when things needed to be shifted around a bit. At this point, we have only seen our preview images, but we are really happy with how they turned out so far! The candid and artful images ("vanity fair" style, as Alex called it) was exactly what we were looking for. They are classy and timeless; and, we look great, but still like ourselves (we were very worried about looking fake and overly touched up). We would absolutely work with Alexandra again, and we can't wait to see the rest of the photographs! Thanks again, Alex!!

We ended up running about an hour behind on pictures (NOT her fault. My husband's family has about 50 people in it and it took a while to wrangle everyone). She was very calm, and still got every shot we wanted. The photos are GORGEOUS. We absolutely love them. From detail shots to ceremony pictures to posed formal portraits. I would very highly recommend George Street. Pricing was awesome for the package we got, and if you book during one of their deals, its AMAZING.

ffers are very reasonable...if you are OK with not being 100% in control (some brides are not). Essentially what GS does is hire photographers and videographers for 1 day of work or a certain number of hours and then collect the photos/video and someone DIFFERENT at GS, not the photographer/videographer, will edit photos and make the book for you. The areas you don't have much control is you don't get to meet any of the photographers or videographers until the day of (can call them week of the wedding) and most of the time, they also will not know each other or have worked together so you have to trust that they will be able to work together well. I particularly liked GS because I was going to take my engagement photos in one city and get married in another. GS has relationships with photographers multiple cities, so not having to fly someone around was a plus for me. Yes it was two different people for the engagement shoot and the wedding but I actually didn't mind that at all and had a great experience with both photographers. The downsides are the timeline of your wedding day you fill in online is not that user friendly and sometimes you had to tell the photographer exactly what you want them to do or take pictures of (maybe had to do this a few times but not all the time). The layout for the album they eventually give you will take a lot of editing and back and forth to get the way you like. When you get the photos (does take approx. 2 months) back just tell them you want everything because the people who work there will not always choose the best photos. The customer service was very responsive whenever we needed anything. Knowing what I know now, I would not hesitate to choose GS again.

We had an engagement shoot with her and she was so sweet and really made us feel comfortable. Then at the wedding she was amazing! The wedding was at 2 pm and the lighting was super harsh, everyone who took pictures on their phones had really dark photos. But all of Sarah’s pictures turned out perfect and the lighting looked amazing! Everyone loved her and she got such amazing photos that we will cherish forever!! We also got the opportunity to work with Paul for our video. Although we haven’t gotten our video back yet, we have seen his work and it’s incredible! He was also so pleasant to be around and just a nice guy. We can’t wait to see it!! What I love about George Street is that you get back every single picture that the photographers took on the wedding day. They may not edit all of them, but at least you get to see ALL of your pictures and relive every moment of the wedding, versus only getting to see the pictures the photographers liked. I can’t recommend George street enough!

but she knows her way around a camera and the space around her. She did our engagement photos and, after having to cancel our first shoot due to an emergency, she travelled pretty far to make it up to us. Our photos came sooner than expected. They have an online portal that you can input information into and make payments on which made it really easy. We had a “wedding coordinator” assigned to us and he would always e-mail us to update us on payments and when pictures were available. About a week after our shoot, they e-mailed us a sneak peak of our photos. A couple weeks later, all of our photos were available. And a couple weeks after that, they were available to download. The same happened for our wedding photos. For our wedding, we also had Bart as our second photographer. He was hilarious! He mainly worked with my husband but whenever he was photographing us, he made me forget that it was really hot and humid out and that my dress was really heavy! Our videographer was Justin. He called me a few days before to reach out and get any final details I wanted ironed out which was really nice of him. I’m not used to being the focal point, but he was very unobtrusive and half the time I didn’t even notice he was there. He didn’t ask me to stage anything and it all was very organic. To my surprise, the next day he sent me a mini trailer of our wedding video! We are still waiting on the full video but its only been 3 weeks since our wedding. Overall, I would highly recommend George Street Photo and Video to anyone! I already have people asking about them since they’ve seen our photos on Facebook!

er was brutal, he didn't capture a single good/usable shot. The videographer took all of our wedding video with essentially a regular photography camera on video mode, and when you compare the production quality and editing of our final wedding videos to others out there, we didn't get anything short of a basic sequential ordering of trimmed video clips. The majority of our video was filmed on a tripod. Nothing special about the video production at all. Initially the first "release" of images to us was missing a ton of important photos, so whoever went through them didn't really look thoroughly. Then about 25% of our photos were "missing". They released them all to us, but there were no photos of the reception after dinner/toasts. Wouldn't it seem strange you're releasing photos to a couple after "selecting the best" and there isn't a single photo of the reception itself? Took months to track them down, eventually took us contacting the photographer directly to get them. Little no no help, GS is too big of an agency managing too many weddings, so there isn't much of a personal touch. Definitely not worth the $5k+ they cost us. The only reason we're at 2 stars is because out lead photographer was amazing, but the rest of the experience was absolutely poor.

a year ahead of our wedding and unfortunately our original photographer had to drop out a few months before the big day. Our George Street contact called us immediately and sent several new options for photographers within the hour, along with providing 2 additional hours for free as compensation. We picked our new vendor, and loved her work even more than our original choice! Our sneak peeks and full albums got turned around quickly and looked beautiful.
