The price was budget friendly while also providing quality service. My photographer was Ron and he did a beautiful job for both the engagement shoot and wedding day shoot. He was very professional, kind, and flexible throughout both days as well as ensuring that my husband and I captured everything we wanted for our getting ready, first look, ceremony, cocktail hour, family, you name it! ailing all the different pictures we wanted, and we shared a detailed timeline. Why did I waste time submitting all that information if it wasn't going to be used?
The photographers were not managing time well at all and I felt like I had to project manage them on my wedding day. My wedding coordinator also told me that the photographers were dropping the ball and not managing their schedule.
We did not capture all the family photos we wanted to, and I felt that the photographers were not hearing me when I communicated my concerns. We were supposed to capture photos of the first look, then photos with the wedding party, then immediate family. They spent forever taking the first look photos, and didn't seem aware that they were supposed to take photos with the wedding party. That part was completely lost. Also, we lost so much time choosing where photos were going to be taken. It would have helped so much to have a call before the wedding day. We got the photographer's contact info like 2 days before the wedding, leaving no time to communicate properly.
Every other vendor I worked with delivered a perfect experience, and I can not stress enough that the choice to go with George Street caused my wedding day to be shrouded in stress and uncertainty.
I received the photos and many of them are blurry or blown out due to the flash and improper camera settings. It was chaotic and communication was awful. 1 out of 10 experience.

o a wedding are the photographer and videographer. They are the flies on the wall that capture the essence of your day. We let the George Street team know the type of photographer and videographer we were looking for and they provided us with numerous portfolios to choose from. We wanted more candid moments than scripted moments captured in our engagement shoot and our wedding. The two lead photographers (Tony and Mike) did just that!! While they did direct some of our poses, they did an amazing job in capturing candid moments between my husband and I. For the ceremony, Mike brought Jermaine along as his assistant photographer and the two worked together like Batman and Robin!! My guest loved their energy and direction. They captured the essence of our genuine love as a couple and as a family. Kelly Rose was our videographer and she too did an awesome job also. Working with George Street was easy and untimely just felt right!!

My only call out would be timing/length of service. If I had to do the scheduling again (hopefully not for wedding but perhaps a special event/birthday/anniversary party/etc.) Then I would have liked the option of being able to add Photographer/Videographer for additional hour(s) on site/day of, as our wedding ceremony went over 1 hour and we have no photos of the end of the wedding and wedding exit (except for friends/family from phone videos).I'm in my early 40's and have never been married, I admit it was my scheduling error, but I feel this should be noted (make sure to have someone else who has scheduled wedding photography/videography talent review your time sheet just to get a second opinion - I did it on my own thinking it was right and in hindsight perhaps should have adjusted some of the times).

You'll regret your decision if you move forward with them - trust me! Wouldn't change anything about our wedding *except* for the photography company. Go with a smaller studio that...
does everything in-house. George Street offers attractive pricing but we experienced SO many issues in working with them. Most of the issues lie within the company itself, and not the photographer, though we did (many, many times) tell the photographer that we didn't want a full session of posed shots - wanted a more photojournalistic style - and still spent two hours of our cocktail reception doing many posed photos. Back to the company...had to chase them for photos every step of the way; editing wasn't the best; and there was ZERO follow-through - if they need info from you in order to complete your album they will NOT tell you - instead, they will wait until you reach out to them and ask for the ETA on your album, then drop the bomb that they're missing info...this little game has now happened twice...which will push the timeline out more months. Word to the wide: if you're looking for somewhere to save money, find savings elsewhere and hire a better photography company.

wedding twice last year. I had chosen a photographer over 2 years ago, we were supposed to do an engagement shoot but when things went south in early 2020 we ended up cancelling, which George Streets team was very supportive at that time. The day before my wedding I got a call that our photographer had unfortunately been exposed to Covid & could no longer shoot our wedding. They let me know they selected someone else to shoot. I’ll be honest in that moment I was terrified, but at the end of the day it was a giant blessing because who they chose couldn’t have been more perfect. If you’re in the south Florida area I highly recommend trying to book Christina for your wedding. She’s incredible. Not only is she a great photographer, she just has a great personality & work ethic. She knew when to give us space, she knew how to calm us down & make us look more natural in photos. She was amazing. I think the only downside was that I had to wait well over a month to even see a few photos from the wedding. I get not being able to see your full album by then, but it would’ve been nice to receive the sneak peak photos closer to the completion of the wedding. Overall I highly recommend using George Street.

es with. On the day of the wedding, he also did a pretty good job. He seemed to take a lot of photos but not be “in the way” too much. However, when we got the pictures, we were a little disappointed. The outside pictures were pretty, even though some things were out of focus or there were random things in the background. The inside pictures however were not really usable. They are VERY dark, people are very washed out, out of focus, random objects blurred out in the corners, etc. He also did not pose us for group pictures or anything. All in all, of photos aren’t a big deal for you, George Street is probably fine. But if you want high quality photos, I would unfortunately go with someone else. They seem to freelance photographers out that don’t have much experience and don’t know all of the tips and tricks of shooting a wedding. I asked them to re-edit a few of the photos, which they did, which was very nice! Unfortunately the pictures didn’t really look much different when they were done with the edits.

to just pull me whenever and wherever when the lighting was right and they did!! I think that was the best part cause I kept forgetting. Very communicative and even with COVID they wore masks and kept they’re distance. I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know for they’re wedding. The amount for everything was amazing it was in our budget!! I even got a custom photo album and it’s beautiful!!

After the wedding, we received our preview photos within two weeks and all of our photos digitally within two months. We got our video within three months.
That being said, production for our album has yet to start. My contract states that it should have begun within four months of receiving our photos. I also purchased all of the raw video footage, which should have shipped two weeks after we received our video. GS has not reached out to me about moving forward with either of these. I am out $1000.
Taking advantage of a young military couple is absolutely unacceptable. I would never book with them again. I would never recommend them to anyone who wants to have a positive photography and videography experience. If I could give less than one star, I would. Unacceptable.
As a bride, I never lost my cool throughout the wedding planning process. I never felt like I was taken advantage of, until now. GS is an unethical national corporation.

ed with the photos!!! My lead photographer, Kate, was so fun to work with and kept the whole bridal party moving with the photos so she could get all the shots she wanted. She even made sure my husband and I actually ate during the reception! Our secondary photographer was just as awesome! We received over 3000 photos. Our photos were so organized! George Street broke them down into categories on our online album site. We are so happy with George Street-I randomly found them while searching photographers on The Knot :)

never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.
