George Street Photo & Video

We were very happy with the memories captured by George Street Photography. We wanted to prioritize warmth and authenticity in our photos, and they captured a lot of that! They were very encouraging throughout the photo-taking process and made us feel comfortable. Other than some communication issues pre-event, everything went very smoothly. We are happy with our choice!

The thing that we liked most about George Street and one of the reasons we picked them was their vast bench of seasoned and different professionals. To me one of the key elements to a wedding are the photographer and videographer. They are the flies on the wall that capture the essence of your day. We let the George Street team know the type of photographer and videographer we were looking for and they provided us with numerous portfolios to choose from. We wanted more candid moments than scripted moments captured in our engagement shoot and our wedding. The two lead photographers (Tony and Mike) did just that!! While they did direct some of our poses, they did an amazing job in capturing candid moments between my husband and I. For the ceremony, Mike brought Jermaine along as his assistant photographer and the two worked together like Batman and Robin!! My guest loved their energy and direction. They captured the essence of our genuine love as a couple and as a family. Kelly Rose was our videographer and she too did an awesome job also. Working with George Street was easy and untimely just felt right!!

Overall great experience Our photographer, 2nd photographer, and videographer did a great job and we love our photos and video (can't wait to give our albums to our parents). Working with George Street was easy & fluid; perfect for our budget too. My only call out would be timing/length of service. If I had to do the scheduling again (hopefully not for wedding but perhaps a special event/birthday/anniversary party/etc.) Then I would have liked the option of being able to add Photographer/Videographer for additional hour(s) on site/day of, as our wedding ceremony went over 1 hour and we have no photos of the end of the wedding and wedding exit (except for friends/family from phone videos).I'm in my early 40's and have never been married, I admit it was my scheduling error, but I feel this should be noted (make sure to have someone else who has scheduled wedding photography/videography talent review your time sheet just to get a second opinion - I did it on my own thinking it was right and in hindsight perhaps should have adjusted some of the times).

You'll regret your decision if you move forward with them - trust me! Wouldn't change anything about our wedding *except* for the photography company. Go with a smaller studio that does everything in-house. George Street offers attractive pricing but we experienced SO many issues in working with them. Most of the issues lie within the company itself, and not the photographer, though we did (many, many times) tell the photographer that we didn't want a full session of posed shots - wanted a more photojournalistic style - and still spent two hours of our cocktail reception doing many posed photos. Back to the company...had to chase them for photos every step of the way; editing wasn't the best; and there was ZERO follow-through - if they need info from you in order to complete your album they will NOT tell you - instead, they will wait until you reach out to them and ask for the ETA on your album, then drop the bomb that they're missing info...this little game has now happened twice...which will push the timeline out more months. Word to the wide: if you're looking for somewhere to save money, find savings elsewhere and hire a better photography company.

I previously wrote a review for 3 stars because I wasn’t happy with the formal photos of my husband and I. After spending more time with the photos, I realize that I was being a little picky, and they grew on me. The photographers were super friendly and easy to work with. I have many photos to choose from and I appreciate the variety.

I was very impressed with George Street from beginning to end. Their customer service is amazing. Anytime I had a question, location change, time-frame change, etc. it was addressed promptly which really decreased some stress. Not to mention my originally chosen photog fell ill to COVID and George Street got me a new one within 24 hours. The new photog called me personally to ensure he had all needed info and everything went smoothly in an unforeseen circumstance. Finally, my pictures and videos were to die for. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Couldn't have picked a better photographer and videographer! I highly recommend Nancy as your lead photographer. She is very professional and was amazing during our engagement photoshoot and wedding.

Are you looking for a wedding (or any party) photographer - great news you have found them!!! Sooo good. Professional, easy going and pictures came out amazing. The photographer (we had Reed) was so much fun (he might need therapy after dealing with us...) But he knew what would work, he pushed to keep us on time and absolutely made the day for us!! Highly recommend.

I was very nervous about hiring George street for my wedding but now that all is said & done I’m glad I did. They made the process incredibly easy, especially given I postponed my wedding twice last year. I had chosen a photographer over 2 years ago, we were supposed to do an engagement shoot but when things went south in early 2020 we ended up cancelling, which George Streets team was very supportive at that time. The day before my wedding I got a call that our photographer had unfortunately been exposed to Covid & could no longer shoot our wedding. They let me know they selected someone else to shoot. I’ll be honest in that moment I was terrified, but at the end of the day it was a giant blessing because who they chose couldn’t have been more perfect. If you’re in the south Florida area I highly recommend trying to book Christina for your wedding. She’s incredible. Not only is she a great photographer, she just has a great personality & work ethic. She knew when to give us space, she knew how to calm us down & make us look more natural in photos. She was amazing. I think the only downside was that I had to wait well over a month to even see a few photos from the wedding. I get not being able to see your full album by then, but it would’ve been nice to receive the sneak peak photos closer to the completion of the wedding. Overall I highly recommend using George Street.

Let me start out by saying the engagement photos that George Street took of us were very pretty - we had no complaints. Our photographer was very personable and easy to take pictures with. On the day of the wedding, he also did a pretty good job. He seemed to take a lot of photos but not be “in the way” too much. However, when we got the pictures, we were a little disappointed. The outside pictures were pretty, even though some things were out of focus or there were random things in the background. The inside pictures however were not really usable. They are VERY dark, people are very washed out, out of focus, random objects blurred out in the corners, etc. He also did not pose us for group pictures or anything. All in all, of photos aren’t a big deal for you, George Street is probably fine. But if you want high quality photos, I would unfortunately go with someone else. They seem to freelance photographers out that don’t have much experience and don’t know all of the tips and tricks of shooting a wedding. I asked them to re-edit a few of the photos, which they did, which was very nice! Unfortunately the pictures didn’t really look much different when they were done with the edits.

They were amazing on our wedding day!! They asked questions and were so cooperative and very thoughtful. They asked me when I wanted photos taken and where and I actually told them to just pull me whenever and wherever when the lighting was right and they did!! I think that was the best part cause I kept forgetting. Very communicative and even with COVID they wore masks and kept they’re distance. I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know for they’re wedding. The amount for everything was amazing it was in our budget!! I even got a custom photo album and it’s beautiful!!

HORRIBLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Let me explain. Booked GS for photo and video. I felt really supported before the wedding and day of. We had a really positive experience with both photographers and our videographer. After the wedding, we received our preview photos within two weeks and all of our photos digitally within two months. We got our video within three months. That being said, production for our album has yet to start. My contract states that it should have begun within four months of receiving our photos. I also purchased all of the raw video footage, which should have shipped two weeks after we received our video. GS has not reached out to me about moving forward with either of these. I am out $1000. Taking advantage of a young military couple is absolutely unacceptable. I would never book with them again. I would never recommend them to anyone who wants to have a positive photography and videography experience. If I could give less than one star, I would. Unacceptable. As a bride, I never lost my cool throughout the wedding planning process. I never felt like I was taken advantage of, until now. GS is an unethical national corporation.

We had a fabulous experience working with the Orlando area team! Chelsea was our wedding coordinator and was super helpful. Stephanie and Sam were so fun to work with and Stephanie's SOOC images were FABULOUS! Our sneak peak photos were all amazing - we can't wait to get the rest of them back soon! Thank you for a lifetime of special memories.

We used George Street Photo and had a great experience. They connected us with our photographer, Reid, who was AMAZING. He took great photos and had a very calming presence, which helped ease my nerves. The entire day, any time I saw something happening and thought, "Aw, it would be nice to have a photo of this," Reid was already taking that exact photo. Somehow, he seemed to be in all places at once. George Street returned all of my photos to me three weeks after the wedding. Much quicker than I expected.

We couldn't be more happier with George Street. The crew was perfect and invisible on our big day. Til this day, we are asking how and when did they capture this shot or angle. They did everything they said they would do and was very reasonable. We got every picture broken up in categories, highlight video, album, and video of the entire day. Scratch this stress off your list and give George Street a call.

I just got married on August 3rd at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in the Lehigh Valley, PA. Although I did not get my video yet, my husband, family, bridal party and I were so thrilled with the photos!!! My lead photographer, Kate, was so fun to work with and kept the whole bridal party moving with the photos so she could get all the shots she wanted. She even made sure my husband and I actually ate during the reception! Our secondary photographer was just as awesome! We received over 3000 photos. Our photos were so organized! George Street broke them down into categories on our online album site. We are so happy with George Street-I randomly found them while searching photographers on The Knot :)

We loved using George Street Photo & Video! It was a great deal compared to many other photographers and we got so many amazing pictures. The amount of pictures we received was huge! Our photographer was very creative and did a fantastic job. Definitely recommend using George Street for your wedding!

Our photographer was amazing! His energy and enthusiasm was noticed by everyone at our wedding. We would highly recommend this company to anyone getting married or wanting photography for other reasons. George street was well organized and timely with any questions we had as well.

Best for the price! I had a destination wedding in Key Largo, FL and all the local photographers/videographers were way more expensive for less time coverage. I set up a phone meeting with a representative from George Street and they were awesome! So professional and kind! The package I bought was 8 hours of photo and video, all high res images and no watermarks.. I own all images. Super nice to not have to go through someone to print (which can get costly). I had Tony O (photo) and Diego (video) and Tony was the perfect personality for my husband and I! The only downside was that the only time I talked to them (over the phone) was 1 week before the wedding. Otherwise I was managing everything through a representative

We used George Street this past December when we got married in Marco Island, Florida. Our photographers were German and Diego and they were an absolute pleasure to work with! George Street, German and Diego come highly recommended. Beyond 5-star experience from our initial inquiry phone call, to working with our wedding coordinator HJ, to our wedding day!

Love our wedding photos! The photographer we had was very professional, kind and took amazing shots of our wedding day. The staff is very helpful with the editing and purchasing stage.

We got married in November at the Mondrian Hotel in Miami Beach. Our photographer Ed from George Street was amazing. He made us feel comfortable and was reliable and took many photos of the different details throughout the wedding. The pictures came back promptly and I would recommend him for your wedding or any special occasion. He is a cool guy that listens to what type of pictures your looking for.

I absolutely loved how affordable and professional George Street was during my engagement session and wedding. Detroit area photographers Jeff and Ralph did an amazing job. My only criticism of the company is it took about a month maybe longer to get back the final pictures of our engagement. So if you are pressed to send out photo invitations plan accordingly.

Although my wedding is not here yet, the process that George Street has has been great. They have great packages and everything available for you in one place. We got to talk to them and see different photogropher's portfolios and found our perfect match. We also have the perfect opportunity to meet out photographer for engagment photos which will allow our photographer to get to know us and our styles. They did all the planning, even gave us suggestions for engagment photo locations. I am so excited and cant wait.

Our photographer was great to work with! She captured some amazing shots without being noticeable, which is exactly what we wanted. Our only wish was that she was more directive during the family photo section in particular, in effort to take some pressure off of us on our big day. But overall, wonderful company to work with!

We had Carlo swoop in as our photographer at the very last minute when we received word about an emergency with the original photographer we had booked. I felt a bit apprehensive as we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

We got married in April of this year and our Videographer, Paul, did a FANTASTIC job. One major thing for us is that we wanted the videographer to just capture the day like a fly on the wall. He did exactly that. Even though we only had 1 videographer, he was able to capture so many angles and moments. It was seriously amazing. I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

We absolutely loved our photographer, Milena! She was easy to work with and the photos turned out stunningly beautiful and came back in a month! The only negative was that we were never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.

We recently got married this past September, and were very pleased with how everything went with George Street Photo. They were always very prompt in answering all of our questions before the wedding and made sure that we had all the photos we wanted planned out before the event (and of course, had lots of suggestions!). During the wedding, the photographer captured all of the moments that we wanted and more. Everything turned out really well, and we couldn't have worked with a better vendor!

George Street was fantastic to work with! Everything is well organized and simple to keep track of the planning process. There was always someone available if I had questions and I never felt pressured to “add on” or upgrade. We also had local photographers and videographer even though George Street is nation wide! Highly recommend!

Working with GeorgeStreet was one of the easiest parts of planning an outdoor wedding. They were enjoyable to work with and really partnered with you to make sure you were asking the right questions and thinking through what you wanted out of your wedding pictures to have a perfectly captured day. Working with Sergi was wonderful! HIGHLY recommend.

Sarah D was our lead photographer who took our engagement and wedding photos, and we absolutely loved her! My husband and I both had never had professional photos taken so we were both a little nervous. Sarah made sure to walk us through the process and made the experience fun, so we were able to relax and really be ourselves. On our wedding day, Sarah fit right in and made everyone feel so comfortable. The photos she took were absolutely gorgeous and we will cherish them forever. Thank you, Sarah!

George Street was wonderful. You initially talk to a sales rep who shows you the portfolios of several photographers dutch availability on your day. You choose the one you want and it goes from there. We were given a few options and were immediately captivated by David's photojournalistic style. I felt extremely comfortable on our wedding day, and Iam typically pretty camera shy. David is a true professional. Would highly recommend.

Jenny at George Street was just what we wanted. She took time to scout out locations for us at our venue and was willing to go with our ideas as well. She was very involved with getting our photos and photos of our guests without being overwhelming. She would just appear at the right times. Thank you!

George Street was amazing when it comes to the pictures for my engagement shoot and my wedding! Our consultant that helped us pick our photographer was so sweet and helpful. Our photographer Monica was AMAZING! She was always there to answer my questions and help me with everything! She made me feel so comfortable, like a friend was doing my pictures !! Overall a great company! Would definitely recommend 11 out of 10!!!

I was all excited to have George Street as my Photographer choice. I booked them asap and got my photographer picked. I started to read reviews. To me photos are the biggest thing, being a photographer myself. As I started to read reviews, my thoughts became negative towards George Street. I stressed for almost a year on my choice. The week of my wedding, I spoke with Shannon the Photographer. She is seriously the sweetest lady. She calmed down my nerves and negative thoughts toward GSP. The day before the wedding rain was in the forecast. I kept in touch with Shannon on a plan B to have photos at the Hotel instead of the actual Venue since it was outside. The day of the wedding we decided to do the photos at the hotel. She came up with a new timeline and sent it to me. She met every single expectation, I had. She was kind, generous and made sure I was comfortable and everyone else was! I got a sneak peak of the photos and I am so happy I went with Shannon and George Street!

We used George Street Photos for our wedding and our photographer Sandra was phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She took so many beautiful candid photographs and gave direction to make our pictures look both beautiful and natural. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.

This review is so difficult to make because I am torn about our experience with them. We had a relatively good experience with GS, especially with photos, but we had major issues with regards to video. We did our engagement photo shoot in Boston with Jessica, who was an absolute delight to work with. She also did photos for our wedding, along with Sergio. They were both amazing, and the photos came out great. We loved them. With video, due to religious/cultural preferences, we asked for a female videographer. However, we were first assigned a male (I found out by accident actually). At first they didn't budge about changing the videographer, and when they did find a female, they wanted to charge me a travel fee for her. At this point, it wasn't about the money - it was about the principle. As your customer, you should have figured things out on your end without getting me involved. Eventually, they gave in and took care of the travel fee. The day of the wedding - all goes well with video. Kendra was so sweet and managed to catch all the important footage of the evening. However, before the videos went for editing, I made some requests from the editors for things not to include in the highlight video. They've sent it to me twice, not taking into account those requests both times. It's now been 7 months since our wedding, and I still have not gotten that video. I'm pretty tired of waiting at this point, and just hope that someday they'll remember to send the corrected video to me.

We had a great experience with George St. They gave us a choice of photographer based on various portfolios and we were thrilled with Brandon! He was very professional and took great photos. George St. was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to any bride!

Our venue recommended George Street and we're glad that we used them. The process was pretty easy from beginning to end. There was always quick feedback. Everyone was professional. The hardest part was picking the photographer! Brian was positive, energetic, and funny. We made an album of our favorite moments.

I got married in NYC on 8/18/18 and George Street Photo was there to capture the best night of my life. From the beginning, Chelsea has been so great. Every time I had a question or emailed her about anything she responded promptly. It was no trouble at all being in Florida and setting everything up from here. My photographer was Carlo and he was AMAZING!!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He was professional, courteous, on time, but most importantly he was so accommodating! Every idea that popped into my head for a picture, he ran with. Everyone loved him. He took the most beautiful pictures and never said no to any of my wacky ideas. I am so grateful to them and so happy that I chose them for my big day!!

We used George Street videography and photography for our September 2018 wedding and couldn’t be happier! From our initial meeting to our wedding day they were great at communicating and keeping us in the loop on all details! Our photographer was Joseph and our photos came out beautiful!! From posed shots to candids, he truly captured the day! George street was quick to get us photos sending us a sneak peek within days and all of our photos within two weeks! Our videographer was also great, and was there for every shot. We can’t wait to see how it turns out!

If you like playing Russian Roulette, then this the choice for you! You choose a contracted photographer at random. The only factor you really have to base your decision is a handful of photos (the best of the best edits) by said photographer. Once you make your barely educated guess on a photographer you are locked in. A videographer will be given to you at random about a month before the wedding. They'll jokingly ask your opinion on specific shots you would like during the wedding. I say jokingly because they may or may not get the shots you asked for. I wanted a shot of my husband's face when he saw me coming down the aisle. We had TWO photographers and neither of them got that shot. This is only one of the few requests I made that was disregarded. I'm not even sure why we had a second photographer other than to have her photo bomb what would have been decent pictures. I gave specifics on family dynamics that should be avoided, this too was disregarded leading to awkward, avoidable situations. The pictures you do receive will be unedited and untouched up, basic things like cropping out the 2nd photographer. When we raised our concerns we were only given 50 free edits and an album of random pics that they deemed too dark/overexposed, and honestly you can never get the moments back to capture them at that point. We were told that we would be able to review the footage and make edits to the music in the video before it would be finalized. NOPE! One day we received an email saying our package was on the way and a video was shipped to us. The music skips in the video, transitions are awkward, etc. I cant wait to see how the album turns out... AVOID GEORGE STREET AT ALL COSTS!

We just got married in May and I would recommend George Street to anyone - already have recommended them to someone! Planning the wedding was so stressful and trying to find a photographer that knew what they were doing but not pricey was difficult. I found George Street looking through The Knot and saw that not only were the pictures great quality but also for an affordable price! Most communication was with the wedding coordinator but she was very helpful in answering questions and it was great that they have you fill in all the info for the day of so that a timeline was made up for the photographer. My photographer Konrad knew exactly what he was doing. It was pretty hot out that day but he was so patient in taking our pictures and he captured so many great candids which is what I wanted! Definitely recommended going with George Street!

We had Tiago from George Street take our photos and it was a great experience. I am not comfortable in front of the camera AT ALL. I told this to him when we first met and he made sure to direct us when were taking our photos as a couple. And for the rest of night, I didn't even know he was there. The photos turned out fantastic!

My husband and I loved the package! The price is wonderful and the photos we received worth every penny. Our whole experience is very positive, starting from the first conversation with the wedding coordinator to the final part of receiving and downloading the wonderful wedding pictures.

When we first met Robert, our photographer, we clicked. He was punctual to our engagements photo's and even early the day of our wedding! He was great! He knew exactly what I wanted without even having to ask or tell him. The groom and groomsmen had the associate photographer, Arthur, and they had so many good words about him. He was like another groomsmen, from what the groom told me. He got along great with every, took funny pictures. The videographer, was was great too! The best part about him was that he blended in with everyone at the wedding. It wasn't like the typical videographer that has a huge set up all in everyone's business. He was subtle. I can't wait to see the video. They were all amazing!

Unlike many photographers, George Street works as a sort of clearinghouse - you provide George Street your wedding details/needs, who is supposed to pass all of that info to the photographers you choose from their portfolio. So it's a bit tricky to review the entire process. To be clear, our photographers got a number of memorable photos. However, the process with George Street (the entity) was clumsy, confusing and filled with mistakes. Our coordinator changed on emails (George Street blamed that on an email-merge error on their end), and we were never able to get our coordinator on the phone. It's simply a call bank of random GS employees who type your info into their database. George Street makes you fill out an extensive form to ensure they meet your needs, yet much of that form info was not relayed to the photographer. So we missed out on things like table photos from people who traveled long distances for the wedding. Again, we enjoyed the photographers. I simply wish we could have worked with them independently instead of the awkward, mistake-prone bureaucracy of George Street. The photographers were good but GS was bad, so I'm doing 3 stars to average it out.

We worked with J from George Street for our wedding and she was fantastic!! I would recommend her to anyone. We first met her for an engagement photoshoot and right away we were struck by how friendly, personable, and professional she was. She has a great eye for creating beautiful photos. For the wedding itself, working with her continued to be a breeze. Honestly, she knew when to insert herself such that we would know to capture key moments but then also knew when to fade back and let us take everything in (without us even noticing that she was continuing to capture everything). As for George Street itself, they were easy to work with and their web portal was professional and easy to use.

The photographer was very accommodating to all of the shots that we wanted. He did a great job capturing our special day. They edited and submitted the pictures to us for download within ~25 days. Super quick turn around.

First and foremost, this review is more focused on the lead photographer booked through George Street, rather than about George Street itself. The company was great, and the staff was a pleasure to work with—everyone was professional, friendly, responsive, and understanding of my unfortunate experience with our lead photographer (George Street did everything they could to make it right). That being said, our lead photographer was HORRIBLE. She was absolutely the worst part of my wedding day, and ruined the photographic experience for me. We chose her based on her portfolio, since the venue shown was similar to what ours would be (which was in Scottsdale, AZ in March), and we liked her candid photography style. We were told she would contact us a week in advance of the wedding, and instead she called THE DAY BEFORE the wedding, as we were on our way to our rehearsal dinner. When we met her the day of, she was extremely aggressive, did not listen to anyone and did not take the feedback or photo requests into consideration for what we wanted captured. She was very clearly uncomfortable with photographing outside, and did not take advantage of the landscape the gorgeous venue had to offer (we paid a lot of money for the venue that wasn't photographed properly). She also didn't get ANY photos of me, the bride, on my wedding day. I asked for portraits and the only solo shots she got of me were in the horribly-lit dressing room as I was getting ready. When it came time for family portraits, she was so uncomfortable with the setting and sunlight that she forced all of us against a brick wall with ugly foliage in the background, claiming that she “needed shade” and the "dappled lighting will look terrible" (it was an outdoor wedding…in sunny AZ…). Meanwhile, our assistant photographer was WONDERFUL to work with and took gorgeous photos in EVERY type of lighting the venue had to offer--she saved the day. Unfortunately, I did not know she would take the better photos so she was assigned to the groom/groomsmen, and the "lead" photographer was assigned to me. I desperately wish it had been the other way around, since I feel like I got jipped on my wedding day. She then didn't provide us with a ton of the photos we had taken and posed for afterwards, so we had to beg to access those via George Street, and sadly they were not worth the wait. I am heartbroken and devastated about my photography experience on my wedding day. We cannot recreate the moments or the memories, and we left without anything to commemorate the event in the way we wanted. Having to schedule separate portrait sessions AFTER YOUR WEDDING because your lead photographer is incompetent on the actual day is unacceptable. I appreciated the second portrait session being comped by GS and being given the opportunity to work with my first portrait photographer again, but it wasn't the same since we were back in Boston, and our wedding was in Arizona. All around an extremely disappointing experience that can never truly be made up for.

The photos are great and we are waiting for the video so I will follow up with how wonderful that is once we receive it, but we definitely had a great time with Gabrielle and John, our photographer and videographer for the wedding. They really see to know what they're doing and we are glad they made every effort to always find the best lighting for us. The photographer missed a few photo opportunities that we were hoping to get, and we didn't feel like there was enough fun photos showing our personality - I guess I was hoping to get more guidance from her on this portion. But the photos she did take are stunning and made us look great and for that we are very happy!

We had a lot of good photos, and I'm very glad we chose to have two photographers to catch different angles. But I had talked to the main photographer about wanting a variety of candid shots and felt like we only got very posed and "formal" looking photos, which was not what we wanted. We were also told that the only suitable lighting was in these two area of our venue... We had a whole beautiful historic mansion, and the person only took our pictures in two locations (literally one room, and one spot outside). No interesting, creative, natural looking 'poses' were suggested. We were basically standing in one spot the whole time, which left for very little variety in our pics. I thought we had communicated prior to the wedding what we wanted, but maybe there was a misunderstanding. The other thing we were disappointed about was the fact that there were many guests that were not even pictured. The whole point of having two photogs was to make sure all the guests were captured at some point. We didn't need 1000s of pictures of us, we needed pictures of our loved ones sharing in the moment with us.

I absolutely LOVED my photographer Melanie! I was nervous not having a 2nd one but she did such an amazing job and didn’t miss a single detail, over 2,000 pictures in an 8hr time frame really blew me away! From the style quiz, to the coordinators and such attention to detail, George Street made my day amazing from start to finish!

George Street Photography was amazing! We got married last May and they made the process so easy! Every was so accommodating and easy to work with. Their packages are inexpensive for the great quality of their work! Dana, our photographer, was the absolute best! She had great ideas and took charge the day of the wedding, and made sure to incorporate any props or ideas that we had. We look at our photos all of the time, all thanks to Dana. Our wedding video is something that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Mark is so talented. The quality of his work is exceptional. We highly recommend using George Street!

this business means business. they are very professional and detail oriented. from the very start we knew we were working with the right business. their coordinators were very helpful and the process they use to choose the right photographer worked because our guy Anthony who works thr Detroit area was awesome ! we had fun that day with him and his team. the pics came in in less than 2 weeks from the wedding ! now I cant wait to see the video and our finished albums: )

Everything was absolutely exceptional! Joe was our photographer, and he was so professional, friendly and fun! He made us feel very at ease and our guests loved his company just as much as we did. It’s been a month since we’ve received and downloaded our high quality photos, and they’re absolutely stunning! We can’t stop looking at them. Working with George Street was amazing! We are beyond happy with their work and our family and friends are as well! My fiancé and I researched many photography companies and George Street was the only one offering what we needed without overpricing. We loved being able to choose our photographer and getting to know her in our engagement session. During the session, she asked about our needs and desires and she for sure pleased them all. My husband and I used chose George Street for our June of 2017 wedding and we had a wonderful experience! We worked with the extremely organized Wedding Coordinators who walked us through the packages, the pricing, the choosing of our photographer, the scheduling, and all of the wedding photography details. We particularly liked that we got to choose from a list of photographers in our area and ended up going with Tiago, a fantastic photographer who spoke Brazilian Portuguese, just like my husband's family! Ultimately, we decided to do both our engagement photos and wedding day photos with George Street and couldn't be more happy with the results! Our photographer listened to our preferences and exceeded our expectations! We would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for professional photography for their big day!
