Justin and Chris. All three of them did such an amazing job. They were extremely professional and responsive. They did a wonderful job in directing us during the photo shoots, as well as staying in the background to catch some amazing candid moments. My wife and I are extremely happy with the quality of the pictures and videos we received from George Street. I will certainly be a repeat customer for any future photography/videography needs!

e who would fit our style. Everyone was very professional and kind throughout the entire process. The online tool to schedule the photographers for each part of the day was easy to use and went very smoothly. Our main photographer, Jared, and assistant photographer, Shawn, were wonderful. They captured some truly great shots that we will cherish forever!

was so kind and our questions were always answered quickly. We have so many great photos, it’s hard to choose our favorites!

For example, in the church, the crucifix is sometimes cut off at an awkward location. There were also some pictures where the shadows made it look like the groom has a black eye. I feel like a basic "just move your head a bit this way" could have prevented that. The choice of edited photos was also interesting: in the edited versions, there was no picture of the bride and groom with the bride's immediate family. Or of the bride and groom and the groom's parents. These pictures were taken, but color-editing was not done. I requested color editing on these pictures, but the versions I got back had different coloration than the other edited photos: the groom's mother's dress looked more burnt orange than the deep red she actually wore. In addition, the lighting/quality of many of the church shots wasn't great, particularly of the family/group shots. I have group pictures in the church taken on an iPhone that I like better. But the lighting in the outdoor photos was lovely, and the lighting in the reception photos was good as well! We did appreciate our photographer the day of the wedding: he didn't get in the way, and photos seemed like a blip on the radar and didn't take too much time. Overall, I probably wouldn't go with George Street again on the basis of the indoor church posed pictures. But they do have great flexibility with access to multiple photographers: my original photographer--the reason I chose George Street in the first place--was unable to shoot the wedding, but they had another photographer available so I wasn't left scrambling at the last minute. Their price is competitive compared to the general market, and there are still a good number of pictures I like. It just depends on your priorities and needs!

Our videos also came out perfect, we love to watch it to relive the day and have the same feeling as the day we were there! In one of their packages, they also offered a photo album, so that was also nice to have! George Street is very professional, and they are absolutely amazing at what they do!

The videographer was just as good and, like the photographers, helped us feel comfortable and was very nice to work with. They captured amazing shots for us, and the video was so well done!

Prior to the wedding they requested that the bride & groom complete a list of photo requests for the day. They made sure to get each request on the list. We can’t wait to see the final photos, as we anticipate them being beautiful based on our experience that day.

start, we were assigned Adam and Sean which shot our wedding and engagement pictures. Both of them were very knowledgeable when it came to getting the perfect shots. After receiving our pictures, we can certainly tell you they had an eye for it. Adam and Sean knew all the right angles, lighting, backdrop, and were professional and fun to work with. On a side note, they also offered some creative ideas on our wedding day-so we have some really unique pictures in the mix. Because of Adam’s and Seans hard work, expertise in photography, and the impressive editing, our pictures came out breathtaking. We have received so many compliments on our pictures and we cannot stop looking at them..We are very fortunate to have had two amazing photographers capture the best day of our lives. You simply cannot go wrong with hiring George Street Photo and Video. I highly recommend Adam and Sean if they are available! You will not be disappointed.

From these, we chose to work with Rebecca Bailey, who was able to take both our engagement photos as well as be the principal photographer for our wedding day. She was perfect with giving direction to those who are not used to having their picture taken, and was able to come up with fantastic ideas we had not even thought of. She was able to stay positive and also bring relief to us despite our cloudy, misty, day by finding fantastic shots so that you would not even know. I would highly recommend both her and George Street in the future!

The photographer we did choose was very personable and called us the week of the wedding to discuss expectations for the day. On the wedding day, our photographer was non stop. We got comments from many of our guests that he seemed to never stop and be everywhere at once. He caught all of the special moments of our day but was never in the way. He was able to beautifully capture the day and we could not be more pleased with all 2,600 of our photos!

s after our wedding! They are awesome. Our photographers (Ashley and Chris) captured images of almost every single guest at our wedding and took such amazing photos of us. We also had a videographer, who was also super great. At first, I was slightly nervous that the three might not have the same style or might not work well together but they all exceeded our expectations. There were several times during our wedding when I didn't even realize my photo/video was being taken - they blended in so well. The only thing I wished I would have done is sent ideas of images because there were some poses I really wanted, but with it being such a chaotic day I completely forgot.. We will most definitely recommend George Street Photo & Video in the future.

town Pittsburgh (we planned our wedding there from Washington State so we heavily relied on wedding websites to find our vendors). Then we worked with wedding consultant Nigel up until about a week before the wedding. Everything is done online through the George Street corporate website which made it incredibly user friendly. We signed our contract and made payments through our customer portal on there. We were even able to construct our wedding day plan for Dean as to where we wanted him to be and when for certain events throughout the day. Dean called us 2 days before the wedding to review the plan and ask any questions that he had for us. Dean arrived promptly at 1:30pm, as scheduled, and told us girls to carry on normally and he would shoot around us and we wouldn't even know that he was there. He got so many candid shots of my best friends and I and I firmly believe it's because of his style to lay low and shoot authentically. He stayed on schedule with us the whole day and did every shot that we asked of him. When we did whole family pictures in the ceremony space after the ceremony I had to direct which family members were next up for each pose as I have a pretty big family. It would have been impossible for Dean to try to coordinate who was next for the shot. So in that regard I had to take control of what shots that we wanted. We got an "Editor's Choice" teaser file of about 42 pictures from our wedding day about 4 days after our wedding. Then, about 2 weeks after our wedding we got an email that our pictures were done. I was able to download all 1,700+ pictures through a zip file from the George Street website, making the process again incredibly easy. Dean's pictures from our day were absolutely stunning! He is very artistic in his craft and gets so many different angles. If you are paired with Dean you will not be disappointed with your shots, guaranteed! The whole system of George Street is like a well-oiled machine. We were flawlessly passed along from Maggie, Nigel, Dean, and back to Nigel through the whole process and neither of them missed a beat with our package. They were always on the same page and their teamwork make the process so easy for us! You will be very happy if you decide to go with George Street Photography for your wedding day photos. Would recommend them 11/10!

eorge Street was so friendly and guided us through it all. The actual photographer, Jessica, was just as great. Our wedding day happened to be one of the hottest of the year and we mistakenly planned to take pictures outside. The only thing we could think of was how much sweat these pictures were going to capture. Not only did Jessica take the pictures very quickly at our request, but they looked amazing! We got the pictures back and they surpassed any expectation we had. We would love to recommend George Street. The whole experience was great!

Dinner speech footage was okay - a lot of background noise and not quality audio - feels like no one edited it. Where it went south was our reception - we have 45 minutes of what feels like a tripod in the corner filming entire songs of everyone dancing. No editing at all. No footage of anything else in the reception. We will probably never watch 45 minutes of us dancing to the ENTIRE song “Space Jam”, etc. I wish they would have kept up with the montage footage . For what we paid this is disappointing.

Our highlight video was amazing and so much fun to watch. Our full length video brought us right back to our day and gave us that same joy we felt! I was talking about. I finally got someone who directed my fiance and I to fill out a contract online and then told we would hear from someone to arrange a session with us. We both did and have not heard from anyone... that was over a month ago. We are getting married in 4 months.

edding and get different shots or film differently, they did go out of their way to figure out how they could try and rectify, to the best of their ability, my photo and video experience. I was beyond shocked when I received the call from them and the continued communication they have had trying to fix things. While I may not have had the greatest first experience with George Street, I am very impressed with their customer service in trying to fix this. My husband and I got married in 2016, and I used George Street after doing serious research into our selection. We were so disappointed. Our photographer had no direction for us in regards to our photos. Looking back, I can’t find a single photo from my wedding of him And I. In addition, I went out of my way several times prior to my ceremony to inform the photographer and videographer that my bridal party would be walking from a certain direction and I would be walking down a big beautiful staircase. Regardless of how many times I told them, they did not get a single photo of me walking down the stair case. The staircase was the reason we chose that venue, and while the memory is there, there are no photos of it. Even in our wedding video there is no video of me walking down the staircase and no video of us walking down as our first walk as a couple. Such a let down, something we can never relive! Thousands of dollars wasted only to be so let down. My husband and I occasionally talk about what a let down our wedding photos were. Yes this review comes a few years after our wedding, but simply due to the fact that I have wanted to relive the wedding through our video and photos and they do not capture those moments. I’m just significantly let down that I spent thousands of dollars for something that was supposed to freeze a beautiful moment in time for us, and all I have is some random guest doing the cha cha slide and poorly organized and zero directed formal family photos.

The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.
