My husband and I loved working with George Street. Everyone involved made the process so easy and enjoyable. You also can't beat the prices and everything included with each package. My favorite thing was knowing that we were working with a reputable company, and our photos came back so fast. We are also extremely pleased with how our wedding video turned out! Everyone we worked with was amazing, and I couldn't be happier—a special shoutout to our photographers Adam and Hunter, videographer Bob, and coordinator Nora.

George street was so easy to work with! Our lead photographer Jared was amazing- he had a lot of great ideas and got some very unique shots. Everyone we spoke with at George Street was so kind and our questions were always answered quickly. We have so many great photos, it’s hard to choose our favorites!

Rebecca B was the BEST!! She did a great job directing us and posing us! We can’t wait to see the photos! Jessica was a great assistant as well!

Krystle was a fantastic photographer. She’s very personable and helped us feel comfortable. All her photos came out so well and we’re so happy with them.

Top tier service! Working with George Street has been a breeze and took a lot of stress off my shoulders. I found the BEST photographer through them and I am so glad I did!

My overall experience with George Street was okay. My main complaint can probably be encompassed in lack of attention to detail, both in the photographer and in the photo-editing. For example, in the church, the crucifix is sometimes cut off at an awkward location. There were also some pictures where the shadows made it look like the groom has a black eye. I feel like a basic "just move your head a bit this way" could have prevented that. The choice of edited photos was also interesting: in the edited versions, there was no picture of the bride and groom with the bride's immediate family. Or of the bride and groom and the groom's parents. These pictures were taken, but color-editing was not done. I requested color editing on these pictures, but the versions I got back had different coloration than the other edited photos: the groom's mother's dress looked more burnt orange than the deep red she actually wore. In addition, the lighting/quality of many of the church shots wasn't great, particularly of the family/group shots. I have group pictures in the church taken on an iPhone that I like better. But the lighting in the outdoor photos was lovely, and the lighting in the reception photos was good as well! We did appreciate our photographer the day of the wedding: he didn't get in the way, and photos seemed like a blip on the radar and didn't take too much time. Overall, I probably wouldn't go with George Street again on the basis of the indoor church posed pictures. But they do have great flexibility with access to multiple photographers: my original photographer--the reason I chose George Street in the first place--was unable to shoot the wedding, but they had another photographer available so I wasn't left scrambling at the last minute. Their price is competitive compared to the general market, and there are still a good number of pictures I like. It just depends on your priorities and needs!

George Street was the perfect photographer for my wedding. They made everything so easy, and the packages they offer are great deals. We had photo and video and we paid the same amount for both that others pay for just the photos. Our photos came out wonderful and our photographer was extremely nice! Our videos also came out perfect, we love to watch it to relive the day and have the same feeling as the day we were there! In one of their packages, they also offered a photo album, so that was also nice to have! George Street is very professional, and they are absolutely amazing at what they do!

The Photographers (Vincent and Paul) and videographer (Kyle) we got from George Street were amazing! The photographer was very easy and helpful to work with as far as capturing the style, feel and moments that we wanted. He, as well as his assistant had a great eye for all of the big and small details and even thought of stuff for us that we might have missed or not thought of. The videographer was just as good and, like the photographers, helped us feel comfortable and was very nice to work with. They captured amazing shots for us, and the video was so well done!

Adam and Paul did such an amazing job on our photos! We took a quiz and chose a photographer based on what we wanted our wedding aesthetic to look like, and they did not disappoint! We were given an enormous amount of photos to go through, which was so special as we felt as though we could truly relive our day photo-by-photo! 10/10 recommend!

We absolutely loved our photographer! He was fun and kept it light but did some very cool, spur of the moment pictures in the unique location that we were at. Couldn't have been happier for memories to be caught for our special day.

We had 2 photographers for my son’s wedding. Rebecca was the primary one. She was efficient & professional. She actually met with the bride & groom several weeks before the wedding at the venue, so she could become familiar with the different photo opportunities. Paul was the secondary photographer & initially worked with my son (groom) & our family. He too was excellent. Prior to the wedding they requested that the bride & groom complete a list of photo requests for the day. They made sure to get each request on the list. We can’t wait to see the final photos, as we anticipate them being beautiful based on our experience that day.

We were drawn to George Street because of their affordable packages and back up photographers. We did have some miscommunication regarding choosing photographers, but ultimately ended up with a really great match. It ended up being a blessing when we postponed our wedding and could still choose almost any date with them. Photos were ready in a timely manner and it was easy to share and download them.

My wife and I used George Street Photo and Video for our wedding that was in May of 2021 at The Priory. We were extremely impressed with the service the company provided. From the start, we were assigned Adam and Sean which shot our wedding and engagement pictures. Both of them were very knowledgeable when it came to getting the perfect shots. After receiving our pictures, we can certainly tell you they had an eye for it. Adam and Sean knew all the right angles, lighting, backdrop, and were professional and fun to work with. On a side note, they also offered some creative ideas on our wedding day-so we have some really unique pictures in the mix. Because of Adam’s and Seans hard work, expertise in photography, and the impressive editing, our pictures came out breathtaking. We have received so many compliments on our pictures and we cannot stop looking at them..We are very fortunate to have had two amazing photographers capture the best day of our lives. You simply cannot go wrong with hiring George Street Photo and Video. I highly recommend Adam and Sean if they are available! You will not be disappointed.

We chose George Street as our company to work with for photography and we could not be more pleased! After a brief discussion with a representative, we were able to view some recent portfolios for photographers who have shot in our venue so we could get an idea of style. From these, we chose to work with Rebecca Bailey, who was able to take both our engagement photos as well as be the principal photographer for our wedding day. She was perfect with giving direction to those who are not used to having their picture taken, and was able to come up with fantastic ideas we had not even thought of. She was able to stay positive and also bring relief to us despite our cloudy, misty, day by finding fantastic shots so that you would not even know. I would highly recommend both her and George Street in the future!

George street was an amazing company to work with. They were quick to respond. We took a short test so they could know what we were looking for from a photographer. They then matched us up with three photographers and sent us some of their portfolios. We were very stuck between two photographers and they sent us additional portfolios to look over. The photographer we did choose was very personable and called us the week of the wedding to discuss expectations for the day. On the wedding day, our photographer was non stop. We got comments from many of our guests that he seemed to never stop and be everywhere at once. He caught all of the special moments of our day but was never in the way. He was able to beautifully capture the day and we could not be more pleased with all 2,600 of our photos!

Picking a photographer/videographer was slightly stressful up until I came across George street photo! They were so helpful and professional. Our photographer and videographer we chose were incredible and captured exactly what we wanted.

We got married this past August and were very happy with the photographer (Dean)! He did a great job and made our day extra special! The only trouble I am having is that it is hard to download some of the images via the link. But I think it is something I can do by downloading them individually rather than the whole zip file.

We could not be happier with our images from George Street Photo & Video! We received "Editors Choice" images two weeks after our wedding and then over 2,000 images just three weeks after our wedding! They are awesome. Our photographers (Ashley and Chris) captured images of almost every single guest at our wedding and took such amazing photos of us. We also had a videographer, who was also super great. At first, I was slightly nervous that the three might not have the same style or might not work well together but they all exceeded our expectations. There were several times during our wedding when I didn't even realize my photo/video was being taken - they blended in so well. The only thing I wished I would have done is sent ideas of images because there were some poses I really wanted, but with it being such a chaotic day I completely forgot.. We will most definitely recommend George Street Photo & Video in the future.

George Street Photo and Video captured our day perfectly! Leading up to the big day, the George Street staff was super friendly and helpful with answering my questions. They made the process so easy - from picking our photographer to organizing our engagement session and perfecting the details of our big day. The price is right for the excellent service and product!

We ultimately had a very positive experience with George Street. The photos turned out beautifully and quicker than expected. The one hinderance to booking with George Street is not getting to meet your photographer ahead of time, however, we lucked out with a great experience. Overall would recommend. Great value and turnout.

Overall, our total experience with George Street was flawless! We first had a phone consultation with Maggie who paired us with Dean to shoot our wedding at the DoubleTree in Downtown Pittsburgh (we planned our wedding there from Washington State so we heavily relied on wedding websites to find our vendors). Then we worked with wedding consultant Nigel up until about a week before the wedding. Everything is done online through the George Street corporate website which made it incredibly user friendly. We signed our contract and made payments through our customer portal on there. We were even able to construct our wedding day plan for Dean as to where we wanted him to be and when for certain events throughout the day. Dean called us 2 days before the wedding to review the plan and ask any questions that he had for us. Dean arrived promptly at 1:30pm, as scheduled, and told us girls to carry on normally and he would shoot around us and we wouldn't even know that he was there. He got so many candid shots of my best friends and I and I firmly believe it's because of his style to lay low and shoot authentically. He stayed on schedule with us the whole day and did every shot that we asked of him. When we did whole family pictures in the ceremony space after the ceremony I had to direct which family members were next up for each pose as I have a pretty big family. It would have been impossible for Dean to try to coordinate who was next for the shot. So in that regard I had to take control of what shots that we wanted. We got an "Editor's Choice" teaser file of about 42 pictures from our wedding day about 4 days after our wedding. Then, about 2 weeks after our wedding we got an email that our pictures were done. I was able to download all 1,700+ pictures through a zip file from the George Street website, making the process again incredibly easy. Dean's pictures from our day were absolutely stunning! He is very artistic in his craft and gets so many different angles. If you are paired with Dean you will not be disappointed with your shots, guaranteed! The whole system of George Street is like a well-oiled machine. We were flawlessly passed along from Maggie, Nigel, Dean, and back to Nigel through the whole process and neither of them missed a beat with our package. They were always on the same page and their teamwork make the process so easy for us! You will be very happy if you decide to go with George Street Photography for your wedding day photos. Would recommend them 11/10!

We got married on July 19th, 2019!!! George Street really took care of my wife and I. When we started looking into wedding photography, we quickly realized how little we knew but George Street was so friendly and guided us through it all. The actual photographer, Jessica, was just as great. Our wedding day happened to be one of the hottest of the year and we mistakenly planned to take pictures outside. The only thing we could think of was how much sweat these pictures were going to capture. Not only did Jessica take the pictures very quickly at our request, but they looked amazing! We got the pictures back and they surpassed any expectation we had. We would love to recommend George Street. The whole experience was great!

First half of our video is beautiful - a montage of the bride getting ready, then moving into our full ceremony, then a montage of our couples photos, portraits, and cocktail hour. Dinner speech footage was okay - a lot of background noise and not quality audio - feels like no one edited it. Where it went south was our reception - we have 45 minutes of what feels like a tripod in the corner filming entire songs of everyone dancing. No editing at all. No footage of anything else in the reception. We will probably never watch 45 minutes of us dancing to the ENTIRE song “Space Jam”, etc. I wish they would have kept up with the montage footage . For what we paid this is disappointing.

The website was easy to use and organize the types of photos I wanted for our wedding. The process to choose our photographer was simple and easy. Rebecca was amazing, kept everyone focused and on point. It’s clear she was experienced and we love our sneak peek photos-can’t wait for the rest.

George Street Photo & Video went above and beyond for our wedding video! The planning process was incredibly smooth and they're online forum was SO easy to use and very helpful. Every time I had a question they responded very quickly either through email or phone call. On top of how helpful they were, our wedding video turned out absolutely amazing. Our highlight video was amazing and so much fun to watch. Our full length video brought us right back to our day and gave us that same joy we felt! Our videographer was so kind and really attentive to our needs. He captured the most special moments and we are SO thankful we chose George Street Photo & Video!

My fiance and I won a free engagement session from them through Davids Bridal's grand opening in the North Hills. I called several times and got several people who didnt know what I was talking about. I finally got someone who directed my fiance and I to fill out a contract online and then told we would hear from someone to arrange a session with us. We both did and have not heard from anyone... that was over a month ago. We are getting married in 4 months.

Edited::: To much of my surprise, after posting this about George Street, someone from their company contacted me. 3.5 years after my wedding. While they can’t take me back to my wedding and get different shots or film differently, they did go out of their way to figure out how they could try and rectify, to the best of their ability, my photo and video experience. I was beyond shocked when I received the call from them and the continued communication they have had trying to fix things. While I may not have had the greatest first experience with George Street, I am very impressed with their customer service in trying to fix this. My husband and I got married in 2016, and I used George Street after doing serious research into our selection. We were so disappointed. Our photographer had no direction for us in regards to our photos. Looking back, I can’t find a single photo from my wedding of him And I. In addition, I went out of my way several times prior to my ceremony to inform the photographer and videographer that my bridal party would be walking from a certain direction and I would be walking down a big beautiful staircase. Regardless of how many times I told them, they did not get a single photo of me walking down the stair case. The staircase was the reason we chose that venue, and while the memory is there, there are no photos of it. Even in our wedding video there is no video of me walking down the staircase and no video of us walking down as our first walk as a couple. Such a let down, something we can never relive! Thousands of dollars wasted only to be so let down. My husband and I occasionally talk about what a let down our wedding photos were. Yes this review comes a few years after our wedding, but simply due to the fact that I have wanted to relive the wedding through our video and photos and they do not capture those moments. I’m just significantly let down that I spent thousands of dollars for something that was supposed to freeze a beautiful moment in time for us, and all I have is some random guest doing the cha cha slide and poorly organized and zero directed formal family photos.

George Street Photo & Video was an absolute DREAM to work with! The process was so incredibly easy, the photographer and videographer that they sent are both excellent, and the communication was quick and professional! I would recommend this vendor to any bride!

George street made everything super easy and we love our pictures!

Although my wedding is not here yet, the process that George Street has has been great. They have great packages and everything available for you in one place. We got to talk to them and see different photogropher's portfolios and found our perfect match. We also have the perfect opportunity to meet out photographer for engagment photos which will allow our photographer to get to know us and our styles. They did all the planning, even gave us suggestions for engagment photo locations. I am so excited and cant wait.

Our photographer was great to work with! She captured some amazing shots without being noticeable, which is exactly what we wanted. Our only wish was that she was more directive during the family photo section in particular, in effort to take some pressure off of us on our big day. But overall, wonderful company to work with!

We had Carlo swoop in as our photographer at the very last minute when we received word about an emergency with the original photographer we had booked. I felt a bit apprehensive as we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

We got married in April of this year and our Videographer, Paul, did a FANTASTIC job. One major thing for us is that we wanted the videographer to just capture the day like a fly on the wall. He did exactly that. Even though we only had 1 videographer, he was able to capture so many angles and moments. It was seriously amazing. I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

We absolutely loved our photographer, Milena! She was easy to work with and the photos turned out stunningly beautiful and came back in a month! The only negative was that we were never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.

We recently got married this past September, and were very pleased with how everything went with George Street Photo. They were always very prompt in answering all of our questions before the wedding and made sure that we had all the photos we wanted planned out before the event (and of course, had lots of suggestions!). During the wedding, the photographer captured all of the moments that we wanted and more. Everything turned out really well, and we couldn't have worked with a better vendor!

George Street was fantastic to work with! Everything is well organized and simple to keep track of the planning process. There was always someone available if I had questions and I never felt pressured to “add on” or upgrade. We also had local photographers and videographer even though George Street is nation wide! Working with GeorgeStreet was one of the easiest parts of planning an outdoor wedding. They were enjoyable to work with and really partnered with you to make sure you were asking the right questions and thinking through what you wanted out of your wedding pictures to have a perfectly captured day. Sarah D was our lead photographer who took our engagement and wedding photos, and we absolutely loved her! My husband and I both had never had professional photos taken so we were both a little nervous. Sarah made sure to walk us through the process and made the experience fun, so we were able to relax and really be ourselves. George Street was wonderful. You initially talk to a sales rep who shows you the portfolios of several photographers dutch availability on your day. You choose the one you want and it goes from there. We were given a few options and were immediately captivated by David's photojournalistic style. I felt extremely comfortable on our wedding day, and Iam typically pretty camera shy. David is a true professional. Would highly recommend.

Jenny at George Street was just what we wanted. She took time to scout out locations for us at our venue and was willing to go with our ideas as well. She was very involved with getting our photos and photos of our guests without being overwhelming. She would just appear at the right times. Thank you!

I was all excited to have George Street as my Photographer choice. I booked them asap and got my photographer picked. I started to read reviews. To me photos are the biggest thing, being a photographer myself. As I started to read reviews, my thoughts became negative towards George Street. I stressed for almost a year on my choice. The week of my wedding, I spoke with Shannon the Photographer. She is seriously the sweetest lady. She calmed down my nerves and negative thoughts toward GSP. The day before the wedding rain was in the forecast. I kept in touch with Shannon on a plan B to have photos at the Hotel instead of the actual Venue since it was outside. The day of the wedding we decided to do the photos at the hotel. She came up with a new timeline and sent it to me. She met every single expectation, I had. She was kind, generous and made sure I was comfortable and everyone else was! I got a sneak peak of the photos and I am so happy I went with Shannon and George Street!

We used George Street Photos for our wedding and our photographer Sandra was phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She took so many beautiful candid photographs and gave direction to make our pictures look both beautiful and natural. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.

This review is so difficult to make because I am torn about our experience with them. We had a relatively good experience with GS, especially with photos, but we had major issues with regards to video. We did our engagement photo shoot in Boston with Jessica, who was an absolute delight to work with. She also did photos for our wedding, along with Sergio. They were both amazing, and the photos came out great. We loved them. With video, due to religious/cultural preferences, we asked for a female videographer. However, we were first assigned a male (I found out by accident actually). At first they didn't budge about changing the videographer, and when they did find a female, they wanted to charge me a travel fee for her. At this point, it wasn't about the money - it was about the principle. As your customer, you should have figured things out on your end without getting me involved. Eventually, they gave in and took care of the travel fee. The day of the wedding - all goes well with video. Kendra was so sweet and managed to catch all the important footage of the evening. However, before the videos went for editing, I made some requests from the editors for things not to include in the highlight video. They've sent it to me twice, not taking into account those requests both times. It's now been 7 months since our wedding, and I still have not gotten that video. I'm pretty tired of waiting at this point, and just hope that someday they'll remember to send the corrected video to me.

We had a great experience with George St. They gave us a choice of photographer based on various portfolios and we were thrilled with Brandon! He was very professional and took great photos. George St. was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to any bride!

Our venue recommended George Street and we're glad that we used them. The process was pretty easy from beginning to end. There was always quick feedback. Everyone was professional. The hardest part was picking the photographer! Brian was positive, energetic, and funny. We made an album of our favorite moments.

I got married in NYC on 8/18/18 and George Street Photo was there to capture the best night of my life. From the beginning, Chelsea has been so great. Every time I had a question or emailed her about anything she responded promptly. It was no trouble at all being in Florida and setting everything up from here. My photographer was Carlo and he was AMAZING!!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He was professional, courteous, on time, but most importantly he was so accommodating! Every idea that popped into my head for a picture, he ran with. Everyone loved him. He took the most beautiful pictures and never said no to any of my wacky ideas. I am so grateful to them and so happy that I chose them for my big day!!

We used George Street videography and photography for our September 2018 wedding and couldn’t be happier! From our initial meeting to our wedding day they were great at communicating and keeping us in the loop on all details! Our photographer was Joseph and our photos came out beautiful!! From posed shots to candids, he truly captured the day! George street was quick to get us photos sending us a sneak peek within days and all of our photos within two weeks! Our videographer was also great, and was there for every shot. We can’t wait to see how it turns out!

If you like playing Russian Roulette, then this the choice for you! You choose a contracted photographer at random. The only factor you really have to base your decision is a handful of photos (the best of the best edits) by said photographer. Once you make your barely educated guess on a photographer you are locked in. A videographer will be given to you at random about a month before the wedding. They'll jokingly ask your opinion on specific shots you would like during the wedding. I say jokingly because they may or may not get the shots you asked for. I wanted a shot of my husband's face when he saw me coming down the aisle. We had TWO photographers and neither of them got that shot. This is only one of the few requests I made that was disregarded. I'm not even sure why we had a second photographer other than to have her photo bomb what would have been decent pictures. I gave specifics on family dynamics that should be avoided, this too was disregarded leading to awkward, avoidable situations. The pictures you do receive will be unedited and untouched up, basic things like cropping out the 2nd photographer. When we raised our concerns we were only given 50 free edits and an album of random pics that they deemed too dark/overexposed, and honestly you can never get the moments back to capture them at that point. We were told that we would be able to review the footage and make edits to the music in the video before it would be finalized. NOPE! One day we received an email saying our package was on the way and a video was shipped to us. The music skips in the video, transitions are awkward, etc. I cant wait to see how the album turns out... AVOID GEORGE STREET AT ALL COSTS!

We just got married in May and I would recommend George Street to anyone - already have recommended them to someone! Planning the wedding was so stressful and trying to find a photographer that knew what they were doing but not pricey was difficult. I found George Street looking through The Knot and saw that not only were the pictures great quality but also for an affordable price! Most communication was with the wedding coordinator but she was very helpful in answering questions and it was great that they have you fill in all the info for the day of so that a timeline was made up for the photographer. My photographer Konrad knew exactly what he was doing. It was pretty hot out that day but he was so patient in taking our pictures and he captured so many great candids which is what I wanted! Definitely recommended going with George Street!

We had Tiago from George Street take our photos and it was a great experience. I am not comfortable in front of the camera AT ALL. I told this to him when we first met and he made sure to direct us when were taking our photos as a couple. And for the rest of night, I didn't even know he was there. The photos turned out fantastic!

My husband and I loved the package! The price is wonderful and the photos we received worth every penny. Our whole experience is very positive, starting from the first conversation with the wedding coordinator to the final part of receiving and downloading the wonderful wedding pictures.

When we first met Robert, our photographer, we clicked. He was punctual to our engagements photo's and even early the day of our wedding! He was great! He knew exactly what I wanted without even having to ask or tell him. The groom and groomsmen had the associate photographer, Arthur, and they had so many good words about him. He was like another groomsmen, from what the groom told me. He got along great with every, took funny pictures. The videographer, was was great too! The best part about him was that he blended in with everyone at the wedding. It wasn't like the typical videographer that has a huge set up all in everyone's business. He was subtle. I can't wait to see the video. They were all amazing!

Unlike many photographers, George Street works as a sort of clearinghouse - you provide George Street your wedding details/needs, who is supposed to pass all of that info to the photographers you choose from their portfolio. So it's a bit tricky to review the entire process. To be clear, our photographers got a number of memorable photos. However, the process with George Street (the entity) was clumsy, confusing and filled with mistakes. Our coordinator changed on emails (George Street blamed that on an email-merge error on their end), and we were never able to get our coordinator on the phone. It's simply a call bank of random GS employees who type your info into their database. George Street makes you fill out an extensive form to ensure they meet your needs, yet much of that form info was not relayed to the photographer. So we missed out on things like table photos from people who traveled long distances for the wedding. Again, we enjoyed the photographers. I simply wish we could have worked with them independently instead of the awkward, mistake-prone bureaucracy of George Street. The photographers were good but GS was bad, so I'm doing 3 stars to average it out.

We worked with J from George Street for our wedding and she was fantastic!! I would recommend her to anyone. We first met her for an engagement photoshoot and right away we were struck by how friendly, personable, and professional she was. She has a great eye for creating beautiful photos. For the wedding itself, working with her continued to be a breeze. Honestly, she knew when to insert herself such that we would know to capture key moments but then also knew when to fade back and let us take everything in (without us even noticing that she was continuing to capture everything). As for George Street itself, they were easy to work with and their web portal was professional and easy to use.

The photographer was very accommodating to all of the shots that we wanted. He did a great job capturing our special day. They edited and submitted the pictures to us for download within ~25 days. Super quick turn around.

The coordinators and photographers were very professional and prompt with communication! My husband and I felt completely at ease and would definitely recommend them!

First and foremost, this review is more focused on the lead photographer booked through George Street, rather than about George Street itself. The company was great, and the staff was a pleasure to work with—everyone was professional, friendly, responsive, and understanding of my unfortunate experience with our lead photographer (George Street did everything they could to make it right). That being said, our lead photographer was HORRIBLE. She was absolutely the worst part of my wedding day, and ruined the photographic experience for me. We chose her based on her portfolio, since the venue shown was similar to what ours would be (which was in Scottsdale, AZ in March), and we liked her candid photography style. We were told she would contact us a week in advance of the wedding, and instead she called THE DAY BEFORE the wedding, as we were on our way to our rehearsal dinner. When we met her the day of, she was extremely aggressive, did not listen to anyone and did not take the feedback or photo requests into consideration for what we wanted captured. She was very clearly uncomfortable with photographing outside, and did not take advantage of the landscape the gorgeous venue had to offer (we paid a lot of money for the venue that wasn't photographed properly). She also didn't get ANY photos of me, the bride, on my wedding day. I asked for portraits and the only solo shots she got of me were in the horribly-lit dressing room as I was getting ready. When it came time for family portraits, she was so uncomfortable with the setting and sunlight that she forced all of us against a brick wall with ugly foliage in the background, claiming that she “needed shade” and the "dappled lighting will look terrible" (it was an outdoor wedding…in sunny AZ…). Meanwhile, our assistant photographer was WONDERFUL to work with and took gorgeous photos in EVERY type of lighting the venue had to offer--she saved the day. Unfortunately, I did not know she would take the better photos so she was assigned to the groom/groomsmen, and the "lead" photographer was assigned to me. I desperately wish it had been the other way around, since I feel like I got jipped on my wedding day. She then didn't provide us with a ton of the photos we had taken and posed for afterwards, so we had to beg to access those via George Street, and sadly they were not worth the wait. I am heartbroken and devastated about my photography experience on my wedding day. We cannot recreate the moments or the memories, and we left without anything to commemorate the event in the way we wanted. Having to schedule separate portrait sessions AFTER YOUR WEDDING because your lead photographer is incompetent on the actual day is unacceptable. I appreciated the second portrait session being comped by GS and being given the opportunity to work with my first portrait photographer again, but it wasn't the same since we were back in Boston, and our wedding was in Arizona. All around an extremely disappointing experience that can never truly be made up for.

The photos are great and we are waiting for the video so I will follow up with how wonderful that is once we receive it, but we definitely had a great time with Gabrielle and John, our photographer and videographer for the wedding. They really see to know what they're doing and we are glad they made every effort to always find the best lighting for us. The photographer missed a few photo opportunities that we were hoping to get, and we didn't feel like there was enough fun photos showing our personality - I guess I was hoping to get more guidance from her on this portion. But the photos she did take are stunning and made us look great and for that we are very happy!

We had a lot of good photos, and I'm very glad we chose to have two photographers to catch different angles. But I had talked to the main photographer about wanting a variety of candid shots and felt like we only got very posed and "formal" looking photos, which was not what we wanted. We were also told that the only suitable lighting was in these two area of our venue... We had a whole beautiful historic mansion, and the person only took our pictures in two locations (literally one room, and one spot outside). No interesting, creative, natural looking 'poses' were suggested. We were basically standing in one spot the whole time, which left for very little variety in our pics. I thought we had communicated prior to the wedding what we wanted, but maybe there was a misunderstanding. The other thing we were disappointed about was the fact that there were many guests that were not even pictured. The whole point of having two photogs was to make sure all the guests were captured at some point. We didn't need 1000s of pictures of us, we needed pictures of our loved ones sharing in the moment with us.
