George Street was great to work with. In the beginning, they sent us portfolio's of different photographers so that we could sort through different artists until we found the style we were looking for. Stephanie ended up being the photographer we went with and we very glad that we did! We had a video conference meeting prior to our day and from that initial meeting, we could tell we made the right choice. Stephanie was very warm and enjoyable to work with! She guided us through different poses and made us feel at ease! One thing to note is that the associate photographer and videographer are assigned to you without selection. With that being said, we couldn't have asked for better videographer in Willie or associate photographer in Kayla. Willie guided us through different scenes and it was clear from early on that he takes a lot of pride and passion in what he does! We really appreciate George street, Stephanie, Willie, & Kayla for making our event very special!

Absolutely phenomenal to interact with. Nora was very helpful with the planning and answering all of our questions. Our photographer Mason was the best. Every photo came out amazing. Mason was very accommodating with our special photo requests. I highly recommend them.

We really loved working with the entire team at George Street throughout our entire wedding process! It was easy, fun, and very professional. My husband and I feel like we got the best package, photographers, and a videographer for our wedding vision! We just got our wedding video, photos, and album back. Everything turned out amazing!

DO NOT hire George Street for your wedding unless you want to lose memories of your wedding and basically have lazy photographers who will not do their job. Till this day I regret booking them as I have no real good memories of the most special day in my life because their work is so bad and low quality. Additionally, they add so many extra fees and costs for the smallest edits and will charge you hundreds of dollars to see the raw content of your own wedding. Very shady business and I advise everyone to stay away unless they want to be scammed.

George street photography was an absolute perfect match for my wife and I! My photographer that took my photos in the man cave was great and captured the big moments leading up to us walking out. Once the ceremony was done the pictures with my wife and I were outstanding! We had an amazing reception and the pictures of it were in high demand from all of our guests. When I was looking for a photographer for my wedding it was crazy how expensive most were. George Street was so reasonably priced and they were amazing! You take a quiz in the beginning so they make sure they pair you with the right photographer. My photographer was Jeff. Who took some great shots and if I had any ideas really brought them to life. I would/ have recommend George Street to anyone looking for a photographer!

Finding the right wedding photographer and videographer can be so stressful, but George Street Photo made the process easy and stress free. Our wedding coordinator, Nora, matched us with the perfect photographers (Nick and Peter) and videographer (Albert) to suit our style and our needs. Our photography and videography team were incredible and came to our wedding on time and the pictures and video exceeded our expectations and were beyond beautiful!! George Street helped us connect with a fantastic photographer at what seemed to be a significant discount from her normal rate which was the biggest thing for us since we found that many photographers were out of our price range but also providing services we did not need. George Street fit exactly what we were looking for and were easy to coordinate with. The only drawback was that the suggested photos they provided were less polished than we probably would have preferred. On the plus side they gave us access to ALL our photos so we were able to pick ones we liked more or make additional edits as needed, but on the minus side that was extra work we didn't necessarily have time for. Still happy we used them and pleased with the service!

We got married in May 2023, and booked George Street about a year prior. About 8 months before our wedding, we had a scheduling conflict pop up and had to change our wedding date, which they were able to accommodate with minimal hassle, and a $250 fee. We had Eric as our photographer, who was wonderful, and was able to help us through our busy day. Our pictures all came out looking great, and they gave us digital copies of all of the photos taken throughout the day at no charge within 2 weeks of the wedding. However, it is worth noting that they have a very strict policy of not providing the photographer’s contact information, until 1 week before the wedding. However, since our wedding was on a Friday, they did not provide us with Eric’s contact information until the Monday before the wedding, which caused some stress as we already had other events scheduled, and so we felt rushed doing the lead up discussions with Eric.

Our wedding coordinator matched us with the perfect photgrapher to suit our style, our ceremony, and our budget. Our photographer, Erica, was nothing short of incredible. What's more, she somehow managed to be everywhere at once, capturing not just the big moments but also all the small, intimate ones. I loved working with George street photo! Our photographer was incredible, and George street was very kind and flexible. Every time I contacted them for information (like for my photographers contact info, etc) they had a manager call me back within an hour. It was so fast!!! Price was reasonable. I think we paid $2500 for 2 photographers and an engagement session. I booked on a Black Friday deal (which I also recommend) definitely book when they have specials!

George Street was a great choice for our wedding. Our main photographer, Jared, did the most amazing job. I would recommend his phenomenal photography, professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to anyone. The photos from the engagement shoot and the main event came out beautifully. Our secondary photographer was also very friendly, but it was a bit stressful when he showed up late and he stuck pretty closely to the main photographer. Overall it was a great experience.

If I could put zero stars, I would. We signed a contract with this company in late June and I submitted some dates for an engagement shoot. The dates came and went with no word from them. When I reached out to see what the delay was, all they said was that "Your team will be in touch with you shortly." I then had to reach out again in 3-4 weeks in order to get any movement from this "team." After a lot of back and forth, and STILL NO PHOTOS we decided to cancel our contract. Oh, and they won't give the deposit back. In fact, they're charging us 50% of our total fee...without any photos or sessions scheduled. Ridiculous contracts, snappy representatives, and I wasn't allowed to speak directly with the photographer. All around a weird and stressful experience to begin our wedding planning with.

I had a terrible experience with them and their customer service. It’s a long story that extends the length of my two year engagement due to COVID but I would personally avoid them at all costs. The most important piece that I want to provide is that they did not provide the quality video that was promised, they admitted that it was poor and not their usual quality, and still refused to provide the full refund for the video. Their answer was to provide a partial refund and try to have me sign a confidentiality agreement so that I would not be able to provide a review. As I thought that this was an atrocious way to do business, here is my review. I have a longer detailed review on yelp and google for those who are interested in my experience with them. Please don’t make the mistake of going with them.

Amazing!! The pictures looks beautiful , am so in love with my wedding picture book and videos. From the engagement to wedding pics, everything look beautiful. Everything that you want to accomplish on your special day , this company will ensure it happen rest assured.. I highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed!!!

We loved our photographer and all of the amazing pictures that she took. We spoke before the big day and she asked a ton of really great questions. On the day of she was punctual and honored all of our requests. She was professional and very talented. We wanted to stick to a firm timeline so that we would be able to attend/enjoy our cocktail hour, Katrina made that happen for us! All of our photos came out amazing!!! We are so pleased!

George Street did a great job with our October wedding. They were helpful in the planning process and easy to work with, and seamlessly transitioned us to a new photographer when our initial photographer became unavailable during covid. They took wonderful photos and gave great direction when it was helpful but weren't more involved than necessary throughout the day. Would definitely recommend their services.

We loved working with George Street! Planning a wedding during the pandemic was difficult, but George Street eased a lot of the stress, especially when it came to moving our wedding from October 2020 to May 2021. And when the initial photographer we selected (and did our engagement shoot with) couldn't work our May wedding date, George Street made sure we had another amazing photographer. Nick was the best! I gave him the specific formal family pictures I wanted at the church and then told him to get all the shots he thought would look good (details pictures of my dress/jewelry/etc) and he did not disappoint. The turnaround time for getting our pictures was surprisingly quick and we love that we could share our gallary with family so they can get their own prints. Overall, working with George Street was an amazing experience!

George Street was INCREDIBLE from beginning to end! There communication and engagement with us to let us know what was happening and with whom to communicate with made our wedding day so smooth and easy. Their recommendation for lead photographer in the DC area was perfect because ours was phenomenal! From the day of to the editing and delivering of products everything was so smooth and seamless. And what a deal! We are so glad we went with George Street and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a all-around team!

Do NOT go with this company, this company is a scam from beginning to end. Think big company that out sources photographers. I cannot even look at my photos any more because they are so unflattering and poorly taken. The "lead" photographer that day was passive aggressie and Controlling. I tried to work with their customer service team and they were only trying to edit the photos. Editing will do nothing as moments were missed, like the groom's face when i walked down the aisle, and the lack of direction from the photographers leading to hideous photos. George Street has tarnished the memory of the best day of my life. Worse, George Street has robbed from me all the once in a life time photos. Money cannot and will NEVER bring these two things back. I am sincerely devastated. Please don't end up like me and STAY AWAY. I have cried almost daily about my photos since I got them. I don't have a single photo from this group I would share on social media. they were a complete SCAM. Please please please do not give them your buisness.

George Street did a great job with both photography and videography for our wedding. It was very easy to use their website to specify all the details for our wedding, and the George Street coordinator was very responsive throughout the planning process. Before the wedding, the photographer and videographer did a detailed review of our plans, gave helpful suggestions, and were very flexible in following our plans. At the wedding, everyone was very friendly and made us feel comfortable being photographed. Our pictures turned out beautiful and were easy to access on the portal. Would definitely recommend!

George Street Photography was so great from start to end! We had Jeff Song (main photographer), Odil (assistant photographer) and Glen (videographer) for our day-of team. We were thrilled with all three, they were all so professional, on-time and very talented! They captured out magical day and we couldn't recommend George Street Photography more!

They were amazing. We got married in August and the photographers were so good at keeping the energy high! They were friendly and personable throughout and very flexible with our needs! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a photographer!

So as of today, it is still currently on lockdown due to the pandemic, Covid-19. George Street pretty much did not give us any options. We either postpone the wedding (5/15/202) and still pay the full price (~$4000) or cancel AND STILL PAY THE FULL price. From all of my vendors this is the only vendor that was not willing to refund any considering of what is going on in the world. I'm a nurse and my fiance is a pharmacist. We are frontliners and as far as we know, there is a possibility that a wedding might not happen due to safety for other people. Hospitals are short-staffed and vacation right now is out of the question. How can i possibly have a wedding considering what's going on. I am very disappointed and will never recommend. The only service they had done was the engagement shoot, that's it. They expect me to pay ~$4000? C'mon now. Ridiculous.

George Street was an excellent choice for our November wedding. The photographers and our coordinator did everything they could to make sure our day's vision came to fruition. I was amazed to see how wonderfully our shots came out - especially my prepping photos, as I was running on a very short period of time. Our photographers were cool as cucumbers on the day of the ceremony, and worked extremely well with getting everyone to where they needed to be for our portraits. Also, we love our wedding album. I'd highly recommend.

Edit: George Street worked with us to help resolve the issues. They offered to let us send them a list of photos to re-edit, and were able to remove the distractors from the backgrounds. We were also compensated for the time we did not feel as though we were not receiving the contracted services. Additionally, we were happy with the video we received. We were not pleased with the quality of the services. Around 1pm on our wedding day, I received a call that our photographer was sick and would not be able to make it. She was supposed to be meeting us for photos at 2:30pm. We were assigned a new photographer. I have seen many other reviews with similar stories, which makes me suspicious that this is something the company does to lure you in, and then send someone of lesser quality. The new "lead photographer" was an amateur at best. He had no idea about what shots to take. During the "getting ready" portion, he did not take any detail shots, and he was MIA for a big chunk of it, missing my mom helping me with my dress and veil. I had to stage all of the group shots, he did not help arrange anyone or make sure everyone was in frame. If there was a picture that needed to be taken, he had to be retrieved, he was not attentive or knowledgeable. When I walked down the aisle, he stood directly in front of the groom. I asked to take a few shots of the two of us after the wedding quickly outside because the sun was setting. He suggested we take them in front of the church's cemetery and columbaria. I asked him to ensure the columbarium was not in the background of the photos and he assured me it would be fine- obviously I should not have trusted him. In the contract it states that the staff can take an hour for dinner if dinner is not provided, we provided the photographers and videographer with a vendor meal. They still all took an hour for dinner at the same time, even though I requested shots of each table, which we never got. The DJ had to go get all of them so that they would know to come back for the first dance. In the middle of the reception when everyone was up dancing, the lead photographer came and asked if I still wanted the table shots... not possible if everyone is already up. Many times, there were group shots being taken at the reception, he did not catch on and come over to get them, he had to be asked and dragged over. When we got the shots back, many have horrible facial expressions, they have many ugly distractors in the background - light poles, sheds, (also including the columbaria... disrespectful and distasteful in the background of wedding portraits), and the crew consistently caught each other in their own shots- many pictures ruined with the videographer or second shooter in the background. A large portion of them were taken with filters on the lens, to make them distorted and altered, which cannot be edited or fixed. You definitely get what you pay for, but I regret even paying the lower pricing for the quality of the work we got.

George Street Photography did a beautiful job capturing our special day on August 24, 2019. Our wedding took place at the Omni Shoreham Hotels in Washington, D.C. We had family and friends join us to celebrate our union. We decided to go with two photographers and a videographer so that all of our precious moments were captured. We requested some picture ideas for getting ready and throughout the ceremony and reception. The George Street Team did a great job of including our ideas as well as suggesting new ideas to achieve great pictures. Our photographs were taken by Oladipo, Winston, and video by Darryl. Oladipo and Winston were very patient and made us feel comfortable from beginning to end. They made us feel comfortable being ourselves in our pictures and guided us throughout. Darryl did a great job of recording our ceremony and family and friends interacting during the reception. We enjoyed our experience with George Street and being involved in every detail. We would definitely recommend George Street to family and friends to ensure the success of their event. Thank you George Street for providing excellent service and memories that will last a lifetime!

Choosing George Street as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made. The photos are absolutely amazing, and I think Rob was able to capture just about every single detail and guest. And we didn't break the bank either. In fact, looking back on it, the quantity and quality of photos you get from George Street compared to the price paid is outstanding. I feel like we got something so priceless for such a reasonable cost. We have over 2,000 photos in our album and when we tried narrowing it down to a reasonable size, we had to settle on 650 because they were all so perfect. George Street made the planning process simple and easy and ensured you got every shot you wanted. Rob was like a fly on the wall while we were all getting ready and throughout the event. We only had one photographer, but he managed to capture it all. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we are so lucky that we have these amazing photos to remember it by. We will forever be grateful to the entire George Street team and our photographer Rob for giving us these photos. You are all incredible!

We got married September 22nd of this year and a year prior I was searching for photographers and videographers! I’m sooo happy with my choice of picking George Street! Jeff from the DC area was our lead photographer and he completely captured our night!! From the put together photos to the dancing and out there one! I love every single photo I got back! And Mark from the DC area was our videographer and he also captured the most perfect day of my life! I’m so happy with my choice and I would 100% refer them!

Everyone at George Street has been extremely helpful! The sales representative virtually met with us after normal working hours and answered all of our questions. The wedding coordinator and online client portal were really helpful in planning the day. Our photographers Sarah and Anthony were AMAZING! Not only were they so nice and professional, they made us feel comfortable on what could be a stressful day and took some amazing photos. Both of them had great suggestions on how to capture beautiful moments. We received our photos less than a month after the wedding!

Working with George Street Photography was simple and easy, we worked with our coordinator to find a plan that fit our budget. The photographers and videographer were right on time to my wedding and took lots of great shots and even captured moments that my wife and I didn't think of but they became some of our favorite shots. This really put my mind at ease because I was confident that Sarah knew what I was looking for style-wise, and what we could really do without. She, her associate photographer, and the videographer she worked with really all delivered. We’re so happy with our photos, can’t wait to see our album, and our video is amazing. George Street was wonderful from start to finish! We found them through a local VA Wedding Expo, and were originally roped in by their prices. Their photo and video packages are very flexible, and our initial consultant helped us customize a package that fit both our budget and our projected timeline for our wedding day. When it came down to booking our photographer and portrait sessions, they made it so easy for us to identify what style of photography we wanted and who could make it happen! George Street helped streamline our decisions so we didn't feel overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the original photographer we picked out all of a sudden became unavailable for our wedding day (even though she did our engagement photo session already!). Our assigned wedding coordinator worked very hard to find us a new photographer that was available for our wedding day, and we were even happier with our new one! They were so prompt to get us in touch with our new photographer. Our wedding photos came together beautifully. Both our primary wedding photographer Erica and secondary photographer Cedrik worked together so nicely. They were professional and made us all feel so comfortable in front of a camera. Their energy and enthusiasm was also so integral to making our wedding day so perfect! Their photos beautifully showcase the love and joy we felt on our wedding day. My husband and I are so happy to have booked with George Street and would recommend them to all our friends and family!

The people at George Street are fantastic! We used George Street for photo and video for our wedding , and have awesome pictures and video to remember our special day. We had great customer service throughout the whole process - sales, coordinator, photographer (Lori) and videographer (Mark). Our wedding coordinator was very communicative throughout the entire process leading up to our wedding day that I did not stress about anything related to photo and video. Even a month before the wedding, when the photographer we chose to chose was unable shoot our day, George Street let us know and provided us 3 other photographers to choose from. Something that could have been stressful, wasn't stressful at all. The way George Street cares for their clients really made me so comfortable, that I had not doubt everything with photo and video on our wedding day would be great! Highly recommend!

GSP shot my wedding for a great price. We originally considered going with another photographer, but GSP was cheaper and we preferred their style, so the choice was clear. Their website is also very useful and easy to use.

I recently got married this past August and from beginning to end George Street was phenomenal. We met them 2 years before my wedding date so I got a really great deal on the package we choose. When ever I had questions or needed anything they were able to assist me over the phone or email in a timely manner. I love that I got to see the photographers work and chose who I thought would best fit out wedding style. My photographer was AMAZING and I hope to be having her photograph later in the future. She immediately clicked with my husband and I when we first met for our engagement pictures. We were super excited to see her again at the wedding where she captured everything we wanted and more!! We found our photographer, Sarah Shepard, through George Street Photo in Washington, DC. She was fantastic! I'm not a fan of having my picture taken, which Sarah was able to navigate very well. She had plenty of ideas for wedding shots we were able to do before and during the wedding. She was very easy and fun to work with, and made us feel very comfortable. It was nice being able to submit all of our wedding information (such as location, timing, hotel, etc.) on the George Street website prior to the wedding, so that it could be passed along to Sarah. We would definitely recommend her!

Although my wedding is not here yet, the process that George Street has has been great. They have great packages and everything available for you in one place. We got to talk to them and see different photogropher's portfolios and found our perfect match. We also have the perfect opportunity to meet out photographer for engagment photos which will allow our photographer to get to know us and our styles. They did all the planning, even gave us suggestions for engagment photo locations. I am so excited and cant wait.

Our photographer was great to work with! She captured some amazing shots without being noticeable, which is exactly what we wanted. Our only wish was that she was more directive during the family photo section in particular, in effort to take some pressure off of us on our big day. But overall, wonderful company to work with!

We had Carlo swoop in as our photographer at the very last minute when we received word about an emergency with the original photographer we had booked. I felt a bit apprehensive as we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

We got married in April of this year and our Videographer, Paul, did a FANTASTIC job. One major thing for us is that we wanted the videographer to just capture the day like a fly on the wall. He did exactly that. Even though we only had 1 videographer, he was able to capture so many angles and moments. It was seriously amazing. I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

We absolutely loved our photographer, Milena! She was easy to work with and the photos turned out stunningly beautiful and came back in a month! The only negative was that we were never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.

We recently got married this past September, and were very pleased with how everything went with George Street Photo. They were always very prompt in answering all of our questions before the wedding and made sure that we had all the photos we wanted planned out before the event (and of course, had lots of suggestions!). During the wedding, the photographer captured all of the moments that we wanted and more. Everything turned out really well, and we couldn't have worked with a better vendor!

George Street was fantastic to work with! Everything is well organized and simple to keep track of the planning process. There was always someone available if I had questions and I never felt pressured to “add on” or upgrade. We also had local photographers and videographer even though George Street is nation wide! Working with GeorgeStreet was one of the easiest parts of planning an outdoor wedding. Sarah D was our lead photographer who took our engagement and wedding photos, and we absolutely loved her! My husband and I both had never had professional photos taken so we were both a little nervous.
