George Street Photo & Video

wedding were truly subpar. It has been a year since my wedding and I really struggle to write negative reviews but after truly thinking about it I decided I need to warn others on what could happen. Starting with photography, the main photographer was very talented and she had a very nice camera. However, she always asks to work with her husband (who I did not know would be my second shooter). I paid for two photographers but I only got one (her). Her husband mainly followed her around, it was rare for him to be seen taking his own photos. He is not even a photographer he has a completely other job. Even though my main photographer was very good for the engagement photos, when it came to my wedding day she seemed lost. The amount of photos that she missed is mind blowing. She had ZERO ideas/thoughts about different positions /photos to take with the bridal party. It makes me so sad because on my wedding day I was stressed and I was not thinking but now looking back I wish I just had some more bridal party shots but my photographer had zero ideas. There are wide spaces between individuals and other individuals are super close together. You would think a photographer would notice this and position people correctly but that did not happen. Also, she told me that if I had hired her personally instead of through the company she would have helped me out more and done more for me but because she was hired through the company she was not going too. That makes me feel like I am getting very poor service and that is a terrible feeling to feel on your wedding day. I will say she is very good at couple photos and her camera is high quality so there were positives I would rather have someone better at photos of me and my husband if I had to choose. Next, the videographers. The main videographer was not interested in being there what so ever. He actually asked me (the bride) if he could leave early ! It was crazy. The second videographer was INCREDIBLE. He is the one who MADE my wedding day. He wanted to be there and he wanted to work hard. He made us feel special on our wedding day and he is the only one out of the 4 of them who truly seemed like he wanted to work for this company and liked the company. The problem with the video that I got though was that the quality of the camera that was used was from the early 1990s. I am not kidding when we got our wedding video back it looked like a home video from the early 90s. George Street tried to make it right and revise the video for me but you can't really revise something that the quality is just low of. I have attached a screenshot from the video so that you can understand how grainy the video from my wedding looked. My parting advice -- don't hire a large company. I did because I was worried that I would last minute not have a photographer or videographer and I liked the idea that a company would figure it out for you but now looking back it was the biggest mistake of my wedding. If you hire an individual person you know what their work looks like and you don't need to rely on who gets sent to you on your wedding day. You don't need to rely on the luck on the draw. Please just don't do it. I literally am so upset every time I see my bridal party photos or my video.

ok over 5000 photos that day and we had some great shots. The reason I deducted a star was for post production and downloading. With so many great photos to choose from, the "Editor Picks" folder did not look like the editor actually looked at the pictures carefully. When I dug though the 4900 other pictures, I was able to find much better ones there for the picking. That and downloading some of the pictures didn't work until I reached out to them and they suggested I download through another platform, which worked great. If they had mentioned that in their email, I would have used Chrome from the start. Otherwise, a great experience, with some wonder pictures to last us a lifetime!

ith a 6 hr assistant photographer. between the quality of the photos and video and the amount of time we had, we felt that it was amazing quality and such a beautiful keepsake to remember our special day by. We were also permitted to switch out an album the pictures made by George Street with an engagement photo shoot with photographer which we really appreciate and enjoy doing. The photographer, Ausrine, and videographer, Eric, always gave us clear instructions and what to do and how to pose. Ausrine even worked around our busy schedules when scheduling the engagement shoot to make sure we were happy with the weather and that day.

is pretty quick. I would definitely recommend.

ids, & I’m definitely going to book her again!!!! She helped us to feel comfortable, & gave us some posing ideas. We aren’t big on photos but she made it fun & helped us enjoy the process a lot!!! George street was in our budget & really did a great job, we couldn’t be any happier! & not to mention the photos were ready 3.5 weeks after our wedding so we didn’t even need to wait a full month !!!
