George Street Photography

e took time out of our very busy schedules to clearly explain why we were dissatisfied and were told they would follow up within a week. After hearing nothing, I had to follow up myself—only to be told they would not provide any monetary refund and instead offered a “package” valued at a retail amount. This was not a resolution. Out of the 1000 photos, only 29 photos were somewhat usable as I had to professionally re-edit them just to salvage anything. The lack of transparency and the decision to circle back with no meaningful or tangible solution was extremely disappointing. Final caution: Do not book this company if quality, accountability, and honest communication matter to you.

re seeing were a little daunting. We ended reaching out to George Street after seeing some really great reviews on The Knot. They fit perfectly into our budget and could deliver everything we wanted. The coordinators were incredibly friendly and made the process very easy for us.  We chose to work with Jeremy S. as our lead photographer after seeing his portfolio and reading reviews. We were looking for someone who would flow easily into our day and capture authentic moments. Jeremy, Randy (lead videographer) and their teams went above and beyond what we had hoped for. They made the day incredibly easy for us - being flexible, pivoting when needed, going with the flow of the chaos, laughter, and emotion of the day without question. We felt comfortable, relaxed, and authentic. We will be recommending them to everyone! 

both at the church after the ceremony and at the reception as well. Not only did we get through these shots with ease, we were able to get in extra shots which was a plus. Originally we had no plans between the ceremony and the reception, however when Nelson found this out, he quickly offered and suggested going to a local park to take additional shots which I LOVED. Kenneth was our videographer and he also was amazing! He was everywhere for the ceremony and reception! Always ensuring he had all angles covered with proper lighting. He was so easy going, and jumped on the bandwagon on adding in the local park at the last minute with no questions asked. I cannot recommend both of them enough! The only issue we did run into was our assistant photographer had something come up, so an alternative assistant photographer was assigned to our day. While he was great, we were looking forward to the original assistant photographer who was assigned to our wedding; she had completed an engagement shoot with our friends and did a lovely job. Also, our lead photographer Nelson had to be the bearer of the bad news the night before hand, where instead I felt that should have officially came from George Street themselves. Regardless of this, my husband and I still loved working with Nelson and Kenneth, and would highly recommend them to anyone.
