In planning our wedding, I made the tough decision that flowers would have to be something I kept a tight budget on. I went back and forth with considering fake flowers, DIY, etc. ...
and eventually found George's Flowers. I worked with their team member, Grace, and decided on a pretty simple order - 1 brides bouquet, 4 small bridesmaids bouquets, 2 boutonnieres, 2 ground arrangements, and extra flowers for the photographer. I asked for in season flowers, very colorful, and some large dramatic blooms in place of peonies since they weren't in season. I shared a few inspiration pictures and completely left it up to them to bring my vision to life.
I was perfectly happy with my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets - I actually was pleasantly surprised when I saw how many blooms they included in the bridesmaids bouquets. The blooms they provided for the photographer were perfect in helping bring together my very colorful details. I honestly didn't care too much about the boutonnieres going into the planning, it was my mom that had asked for them. Now looking at the photos, I can't imagine going without them as they were absolutely beautiful.
The ground arrangements were quite literally the most beautiful floral arrangements I have ever seen. I still can't believe they were ours. In my mind they belong in a couture magazine spread for a fairytale wedding. The day after the wedding, I was pulling out the inspiration pics to show everyone because I couldn't believe how much they nailed my vision - It was truly better than I could have envisioned. I didn't actually didn't see the ground arrangements until I was walking toward the aisle. I couldn't contain my happiness when I saw them so much so that my mom hushed me (LOL). The colors were amazing. The blooms were amazing. Our florals turned out to be an unexpected highlight that we will never forget.

We were looking for a new florist in the area, as for many years we used Stritesky's because of the high quality plants & arrangements (closed after retirement). We decided to try...
George's to send an arrangement in memory of a loved one who passed. My sister called George's after placing the order bc our plant (order was$65) that was ordered Tue didn't get delivered until Fri a day after the family viewing. When I called w/ my concerns I was told by Linda she would check with customer service & customer service would call back. I received a vmsg from Linda (same person I'd spoken to earlier) that they could credit a full credit to my card and go to the funeral home to pick up my delivery???? What type of c/s is this? Can't believe they left a message as such. A simple discount would have been customary. Who wants a business to go pick up an already late arrangement in memory of a loved one? How would this be the first offer for a solution? We frequently send plants/ flowers to relatives & friends in the area also for funerals on behalf of our reunion committee; they will not ever see another $ from me or my family/ organization. Will try Creative Occasions in Vinton or Baskets& Bouquets (both had gorgeous arrangements for local weddings). George's is not a good company. Customers, Run and let your fingers do the walking! Shame on you Georges!!!! In the 20 years of ordering from Striteskys never had an issue.
To save money, I ordered wholesale flowers for George’s florist. They came fresh and ready to go!! The staff was easy to work with! I made my own bouquets (bridal and bridesmaids...
) with gerbera daisies. I also made pomander balls with carnations for the main table decorations. I found great “how to” videos on youtube for both projects. I would definitely recommend George’s Flowers for wholesale flowers!!
I would highly recommend this florist. I changed my mind a few times on what flowers I wanted and they were very accommodating. Doug understood what I wanted and made my dream a ...

I worked with Billy from George's Flowers, and I cannot say enough great things about him! Not only did he create elegant centerpieces, bouquets, and decorative foliage, he did it ...
within my tight budget! Not only did he do all of that, but he delivered and set up the flowers for the ceremony and then came back and helped flip the room for our reception. He was professional, kind, and really made me feel like he cared about my wedding. He went above and beyond, and I recommend him (and them) without reservation!! They're so awesome!
