We cannot recommend Georgia Ray’s Kitchen and Chef Danyell enough! We used Georgia Ray’s for our entire wedding catering, including cocktail hour, the reception, and dessert, and t...
hey absolutely exceeded our expectations. Chef Danyell is truly an artist in the kitchen and an expert in his field. From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful in creating our menu and gave us so much flexibility and so many options to choose from. The variety of dishes he can make is unlike anything we found with other caterers, and he took the time to recommend items he thought we would enjoy, discuss what would be best for the season, and help us put together a menu that felt perfect for our wedding. His pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and amount of food we received. He truly over-delivered in every way. Everything from the appetizers and passed hors d’oeuvres to the dinner and wedding cake was absolutely incredible and blew us and our guests away. We have received so many compliments about the food, especially the fresh berry shortcake! We honestly feel that this was one of the best meals we have ever had, and having Chef Danyell and Georgia Ray’s Kitchen cater our wedding made our special day even better. Our wedding would not have been the same without them, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Georgia Ray’s Kitchen to anyone looking for an exceptional caterer for their wedding or event!

are a lot of menu options to choose from and Chef really works to customize the menu how you want.
Chef Danyell was great to work with! He did my rehearsal dinner and he has done other catering jobs for me. I highly recommend him!
Georgia Ray's catered our wedding and it was one of the best meals I've ever had! Literally the greatest steak I have ever tasted! People say you don't eat at your wedding, we ATE ...
at our wedding, and then some because you couldn't not eat Chef Danyell's amazing food! Chef Danyell is a genius in his field, he came up with the most unique dishes with extreme enthusiasm. He navigated through all the dietary restrictions with ease and solved problems before they got to us and accommodated to all our needs. He knows this business so well, can see the vision of what needs to be done and conquers it. His staff was so friendly and fun, they were so easy to work with. Our guests are still talking about how fantastic the food was at our wedding, raving that they have never had such great food at a wedding before.
As a bonus, every time we visited they would always feed us something delicious and sent us home with lunch for the next day! You would be cheating yourself if you didn't try his food. Ask to try to the swizzle sticks!
Thank you so much, Georgia Rays, for the best meal we could have ever asked for! I'm still craving those fig & roquefort purses, truffle mac & cheese and that steak!!
Chef Review:
We chose Georgia Rays Kitchen to cater our wedding as well as two breakfasts, a rehearsal dinner, and snacks for our wedding weekend. We had decided that good food wa...
s our top priority for our weekend and we couldn’t possibly be happier with our choice. The food was out of this world! Chef Danyell made us everything from carribbean jerk chicken to beef and broccoli stir fry, buttermilk chicken and waffles to white bean dip with truffle oil and the best salsa I’ve ever tasted! Chef was profession, fun, and easy to work with. He went above and beyond to personalize our experience and make sure we were thrilled with the food. His staff is fantastic as well. Nancy was kind and patient as we went over details via email or phone. The servers and bartenders were professional and friendly. Our guests raved about the food stating it was the best they’ve had! Chef made our wedding cake and we got calls from guests the next day asking if we had any leftover they could have! When we got home from our wedding weekend, we decided that we shouldn’t even go out to eat because nothing would compare to Chef Danyell’s food! Thank you so so much for making our weekend perfect and scrumptious!
Chef Danyell and Kathleen did an amazing job helping us create an absolutely delicious menu (especially given that it was a bit non-traditional in that we requested both Japanese a...
nd Polish cuisine - they were able to handle it without any hesitation). They went above and beyond to accommodate the food allergies of some of our guests. From the tasting to the final clean-up after the reception, the Georgia Ray staff was responsive, professional, and friendly and I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed working with them!
My husband and I recently got married in Hudson, NY and found Georgia Rays kitchen through google. I chose a complicated venue and Chef Danyell and his staff did such an amazing jo...
b from start to finish I was so impressed. We decided to go with a laid back bbq menu and the food was OUTSTAnDINg! I will forever be craving the pulled pork he made!!!! We got so many compliments on the food. Kathleen that works for him is also amazing. She helps to iron out all of the details so that things run smooth. Chef also made two cakes. A wedding cAke and a last minute grooms cake. Both were just amazing presentation wise and taste wise. He also helped to make sure what I rented from my rental company was correct and made changes as it got closer to make sure things ran smoother. They even packed up the leftovers and we fed about 15 people the next day with them!! Georgia Rays Kitchen and their staff are down to earth, easy to work with, affordable, super professional, and very talented at what they do :) I couldn't be happier with the choice we made!
