Georgia TLC Events is owned by Audrey and she both a Senior Certified Wedding Planner (SCWP) and Travel Advisor, and loves being in the business of helping couples get off to a fantastic start to their married life. One of the key advantages of using a wedding planner is the unique way we get to know our clients’ preferences, and can customize options that fit their personality and budget. We are able to assist with honeymoon planning, tuxedo rental, invitations and full, partial or month/day of coordination!

Not only was she so helpful the day of, but she's very knowledgeable about the entire wedding process and can take charge of some of the direct communication with your other vendors. She's able to professionally negotiate contracts (if needed) and knows how to answer or find the answer to any questions you may have. She is EXTREMELY organized. She spoke to all of our vendors as we approached the wedding to create a master timeline of the entire weekend. Every detailed was considered, and our wedding day ran so smoothly thanks to Audrey. mmense and necessary role a day-of coordinator would play. And let's be honest real quick - Audrey is SO much more than a day-of coordinator. She was available, scheduled calls with me between her other weddings, met with us often and always answered our (millions of) questions as far as 9 months out. She knows everyone in the industry and helped us find a number of vendors. She was extremely honest, but most importantly, felt like a friend I had known for years I could lean on at any turn. My wedding was near flawless, and I attribute a lot of that to Audrey and her team. I could write paragraphs, but let me tell you a few things that elevate Audrey above a "typical day-of coordinator:"
1. I kept my emotions at bay throughout the entire process. Until the week before the wedding. Work was killing me. I had a terrible client meeting one day and had to rush home for one of our last planning meetings with Audrey. I knew this was an extremely important meeting and wanted to be 100% focused on the wedding. I was so excited about this meeting. Within the first 5 minutes, my phone was buzzing with texts, calls, emails and texts about work emergencies. That + the entirety of everything we still had left to do for the wedding all came crashing down on me at once. I wanted nothing more than to be excited and present with my planner and future husband, but work was taking every once of energy. I broke down. Neither my fiancee or Audrey knew what to say. But Audrey could tell I needed a few minutes, gave me the time I needed and then picked up where we left off once I composed myself. Throughout the rest of the meeting, she continued asking how I was doing, if I needed a break, what she could take off my plate, etc. I was so embarrassed, but she made me feel ok about the breakdown and somehow had me more excited at the end of the meeting than I was at the beginning! She continued texting me each day after leading up to the wedding to see what she could take off my plate to ensure I wasn't getting overwhelmed.
2. My great uncle is handicapped. He has a power wheelchair but unfortunately, our bus to the rehearsal dinner wasn't handicap-equipped. They are fairly old and couldn't drive so my family was (to put it mildly) freaking out about how to get him to the dinner. Without hesitation, Audrey jumped in, said once she was sure everyone was on the last bus out, she would take care of my great uncle and took him and the wheelchair to our dinner without being asked. I was floored and so thankful for her quick response.
3. My bridal party was giddy, excited and likely a drink or two in by the time we got to the rehearsal the night before the wedding. There was lots of laughing, joking, hugging, etc. between friends and family who hadn't seen each other in so long. We were slightly out of control and Audrey grabbed the reins and took over in the most professional way possible. Without someone as poised and as commanding (in the best way possible) as Audrey, we wouldn't have ever known each person's role in that ceremony!
