We were connected with Gerardo’s through our venue, Grand View, and we are so happy we got to use them for our wedding cake! It was both beautiful and delicious! They offer a sampler of something like 12 different flavors and honestly it was hard to choose. We went with the flavor we couldn’t stop eating and that was cappuccino. It was a unique flavor, so light and sweet, so so good!! We made it a fun surprise for our guests too, not telling anyone our choice in advance. They have hundreds of designs to inspire you on their website and we described a combination of the two we liked. It came out perfectly. Thank you for making such a perfect wedding cake! We can’t wait to have it again on our anniversary (something they will provide - What a plus!!)

We got our wedding cake and other desserts and we couldn’t be more pleased. Ordering was easy and trust Gerardo’s suggestions on flavor combinations! I know I am glad I went with Italian cream instead of reg buttercream.

Gerardo's Bakery did a fantastic job with our wedding cake and pastries! They were included in our wedding package with Grand View, and we were so impressed by how easy they were to work with and how delicious their cakes are! We did their cake tasting and had such a hard time narrowing down flavors that we picked a different flavor for each tier. They also provided an assortment of Italian pastries and cookies for a dessert table. Upon drop-off, they put on our cake topper and assembled our flowers on the cake. Would definitely recommend and now know where we'll be going for all other celebratory baked goods!

We hired Gerardos for my daughters wedding and I can 100% recommend. My daughter wanted a 7 inch cake for a private cake cutting, and cupcakes for the 100+ guests. From start to finish the process was so easy. The sample boxes for tasting was so easy. My daughter was able to pick up a tasting box and sample all the flavors at home with her fiancé. They chose a canoli cake for the cutting cake and a variety of cupcake flavors including the strawberry ricotta, canoli, and red velvet for our wedding guests, including some vegan cupcakes. Our guests commented on how delicious the cupcakes were! Thank you Gerardos for providing the delicious desserts for such a special occasion.

What a way to end a wonderful wedding dinner with a cannoli bar from Gerarado's. A++ on point. The gentlemen making the cannoli’s were spot on, delightful, patient and elegant. The connoli's were so fresh and delicious. Thank you Garado and company for making are wedding desert so memorable.

We hired Gerardo’s for our 10/28/23 wedding in Mendon, MA. Gerardo’s was lovely to work with and provided professional and prompt service. They baked us a small cake for ceremonial purposes but the star of the show was the live action cannoli bar! Guests are still RAVING about the cannolis (pick your own toppings) and Gerardo’s even provided to go containers for the cannolis! Would absolutely recommend!

The cake tasting was so amazing and was a very difficult decision trying to decide on our favors. The team at Gerardo's was fantastic to work with. They were included as one of two cake vendors that our venue partnered with and were included in our plan. I sent them a photo of what we were looking for and they were spot on providing the design we wanted.

Such a great experience working with them. I’ve been a customer of theirs for years, so when it came to deciding where to order our wedding cake from, they were definitely a top choice. When we came in looking to order a gluten free wedding cake, the staff went above and beyond to help us by providing gluten free cupcakes with the different filling options, since getting a regular wedding cake sampler wasn’t really an option for us. We ordered a small gluten free cake to cut and regular sheet cakes for our guests, and the quality of both was incredible. We couldn’t be happier with our choice in bakery.

Gerardo’s has been a family favorite for a while, so it was a no brainer that they would be making the wedding cake! Gerardo’s has so many delicious flavors and our cake was SO good. We got a strawberry shortcake flavor, Italian mascarpone with chocolate, and cannoli cream with vanilla. Jess was easy to work with and she was great at making suggestions as well. We also chose to have mini cannolis as our favors and those were a hit! Gerardo’s cannolis are the best. Overall, we were beyond happy with our experience with Gerardo’s.

The cake was beautiful and tasted AMAZING a lot of people have still been talking about how good the cake was even a week after the wedding. The bakery was responsive and helpful and even assisted me with making cookie favors for the wedding. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding cake!

Our venue included a cake from Gerardo's. When we spoke to the team at Gerardo's, we shared our vision to do a small, clean cake alongside a variety of pastries. The Gerardo's team went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. All of the desserts were fantastic!

Gerardo’s makes wedding cake tasting easy by providing a to-go cake sampler! We visited the West Boylston location and brought home a cake sampler, with so many slices of delicious cake flavors to try, and other various desserts (cannolis, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, tiramisu, fruit tart, etc). Once we made our decision, chose a cake design from their website, our wedding cake and dessert order was just a phone call away. They delivered our cake and dessert assortment to the venue without a problem, and everything was absolutely delectable! Highly recommend Gerardo’s!

What an amazing bakery. I just want to thank Girados for catering to my gluten-free allergy and making a phenomenal cake that all of my guests love we didn’t even get to go home with one piece because my guest devoured every last piece of that cake. the top-tier was gluten-free the middle is carrot and the bottom was red velvet. We picked the birch tree cake and they made it where it looks so beautiful I didn’t even want to cut it but I did and I’m glad I did because it taste wonderful. They were professional and prompt and made my experience one to remember thank you Girados for making my wedding as sweet as it could be.

Our cake was beautiful and so delicious! We worked through the Grand View in Mendon, and it was super easy. We had the strawberry ricotta cake, and it was so light and perfect for summer. We ended up eating the top tier instead of saving it, because it was so good!

The nice thing about Gerardo’s Bakery is that because they are a larger bakery, they do multiple weddings in a weekend. We ordered a strawberry and ricotta cake with assorted cannolis and everything was to die for! We saved the top tier of our cake to eat on our anniversary and the temptation to eat it again is real! The cake and cannolis were incredible. They also have over 100 designs to choose from and they’re all beautiful and will even work with your florist. Gerardo himself handles the wedding orders and understandably he is very busy. Whenever we tried to email with questions they told us to call the store but when we did, he wasn’t always available to talk and sometimes would take days to respond. However with that aside, I would still pick Gerardo’s Bakery over again. It was delicious and we highly recommend them. - Victoria & Eric

We used Gerardo's for our wedding on 5/29/22 and we are so pleased with how the desserts came out! The team was very responsive throughout the process as well as they were very accommodating in meeting the needs of some dietary restrictions. We ordered a cake for a cutting ceremony and cupcakes for the guests. Everything was presented so simply yet beautifully (as we wanted) and more importantly, everything was delicious! For the quality of service and food, we found it to be very reasonable too. We strongly recommend Gerardo's!

Gerardo was great from start to finish. The cakes are a flat rate, which is pretty incredible. You get to choose your flavors, size, decoration, all of it! I found that hands down I could get exactly what I was looking for at a significantly lower price. Delivery was on time and set up perfectly. BONUS: They offer a free new top layer for your 1 year anniversary.

Gerardo's Italian Bakery in West Boylston, MA did an amazing job making our wedding both memorable and unique with their delicious cannoli station. Gerardo's team came to our wedding and set up a cannoli station where they filled cannoli's and added fun toppings for our guests. This was incredible and our guests raved about how unique and delicious the cannolis were. The team was very professional and working with them was great. We worked with Gerardos for our October 2021 wedding reception. We had the cannoli bar as well as a small cake for us to cute. Everything was delicious and our guest loved every bite. We can't wait to visit yearly for an anniversary cake!

We worked with Gerardo’s for our August 2021 wedding in Newport, RI. Gerardo’s created a beautiful three-tiered cake for us and it tasted delicious! Gerardo’s was easy to work with and extremely affordable. Gerardo’s cake was exactly what we wanted and we can’t recommend them enough!

We loved working with Gerardo's! From start to finish, Gerardo and his team made everything about choosing a wedding cake so easy and the cake was delicious! Although we unfortunately couldn't do an in-person tasting because of Covid, the take home cake sampler worked just fine. We went with a pretty simple design for our cake (selected from a gallery with just color adjustments) and it was exactly as we envisioned. Along with the cake, we also had the cannoli station at our reception and our guests loved it! We had seen it at our venue's tasting and immediately knew we had to get one for our wedding day as well. So glad we did, they even gave us a box of cannolis to take home!

I will start by saying this: we had several guests, as well as my husband, who don't like cake a whole lot and they raved about how amazing this cake was! It was so so so good. They have a wide variety of cake flavors and styles to choose from, very easy to order from them, gave us many samples for our cake tasting too. We were extremely happy with our choice!

We loved Gerardo's! I really had a simple design in mind for our wedding cake, and Gerardo's was able to make it happen no problem. Our cake was affordable, delicious, and beautiful. Gerardo's was willing to take our silk flowers that we designed and place them on our cake, we got to pick 3 different flavors, and even better - they gift you a top tier on your one year anniversary. Additionally- a nice little perk - because we put a deposit on our cake during February and Covid-times, we took advantage of their take-home tasting kit. It was a fun valentine's activity to be able to try different cake flavors in the quiet of our own home and made us get excited for the wedding!

Gerardos is the best dessert place is the area. We tried a couple other places for cake tastings but Gerardos cakes and frosting were so fluffy and light and delicious, there was no comparison. They have all sorts of flavors and fillings, and when it was time to choose what the cake looked like they had probably a hundred options of cake designs to choose from. We added other mixed pastries and they were all delicious as well. Everything was done so easily, despite the delays and changes due to COVID restrictions over the past two years, and yet Gerardos kept my info and deposit on file and everything was done easily and smoothly. I 100% recommend them for weddings, as well as a great bakery to stop in any time you’re looking for dessert.

We cannot say enough about working with Gerardo and his team. We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid, and they were so helpful and accommodating. Our wedding cake on 6/11/21 was absolutely gorgeous and even more delicious! We chose the strawberry ricotta and we heard compliments ALL night long - and even the week after - about how amazing it was! The design came out gorgeous and it was one of our favorite (and most delicious) details of the day. Thank you, Gerardo and team!

We ordered our wedding cake here and Gerardo was great, he was so helpful when our plans originally changed and made sure everything was smooth along the way. We were able to do a delicious taste testing of multiple different flavored fillings, and the process of ordering the cake was very quick and simple! The cake was not only beautiful but it was absolutely delicious and all of our guests loved it!! I would definitely recommend this bakery for any event, they were great to work with !

Have been buying a cake from this store for 5 years. Ordered the same exact birthday cake in 2021, and it was a mess. The order takers have no time to talk on the phone and want to rush through the call. No questions asked, suggestions made, and the same exact order that I have been giving for years was messed up. When discussed with the manager, obviously the blame is all customer's. We should have said x, y, z. The cake was just a plain white cake with fruits thrown on top. But they could do the same exact order with decoration and everything for the past years. Asked to check the history and I was told they do not maintain any history of past orders. Clearly something has changed in 2021. When ordering they charge 35 dollars and when picking up take extra 5 bucks - indicating that fruits were not included in the earlier quote. Very bad experience on my son's birthday.

The cake tasting was unavaible due to Covid so we purchased the cake sampler instead and we were so glad we did. Their cake is some of the best we have ever had. We chose to go with them and were told they could do what we envisioned and everything was all set after we put down a deposit. I called two weeks before the wedding to go over the design and pay. This is where we started having trouble. I asked for greenery and a simple design around the cake. I was told that was fine only to be called back later and told they can't do that I have to purchase all the extra greenery and deliver it. Okay... change of plans then.. can they make chocolate trees? (They are a bakery... should be able to pipe chocolate trees. I can do this and I am a home cook.) I got another call, they said they couldn't. (advice: Might want to invest in tree molds... just saying) So at this point I asked okay, what CAN you do since everything I say is impossible. The answer, plastic green trees with frosting snow. Okay, good, great, go for it and I paid. It ended up snowing on our wedding day so it worked out. Fast forward to four days before our wedding and we get a call about how we never paid and they haven't heard from us since we put down the deposit. I'm sorry. WHAT! Way to give a bride a heart attack. They had misplaced things and couldn't find some of our original paperwork and it was their error. The cake was raved about, it truly came our beautiful, and it is some of the best tasting cake I have ever had, but there were some bumps to getting there.

We were so happy with our wedding cake we ordered from Gerardos. Due to 2020 our wedding changed multiple times but Gerardos was able to accommodate our changes without a question. The cake was gorgeous and delicious!

Our family couldn't stop raving about how fresh and delicious our cake was! The crew at Gerardo's knows what they're doing! Gerardo's Italian Bakery makes beautiful cakes. Gerardo meets with all of his couples to make sure he understands exactly what we want. Gerardo was incredibly friendly, funny and gave our family a great experience. The cake was absolutely stunning and was exactly what we asked for. People kept raving about the cake and how beautiful it was. Gerardo made the most amazing cake and I recommend him to anyone.

Gerardo’s was great from start to finish! The tasting was fabulous – I brought my husband, maid of honor, and bridesmaid with me to the tasting and we still had leftovers for my parents to try. The flavors were amazing – we ended up choosing a strawberry chiffon and a lemon filling (not one of Gerardo’s standard flavors, but it’s my husband’s favorite flavor and he was more than happy to make it for us). We loved that it was a set price per slice – which meant that we could choose whatever decorations we wanted without having to worry about the cost. We had the most beautiful four-tier classic wedding cake. It was everything I had ever dreamed of and tasted delicious! Definitely go with Gerardo’s!

They provide samples of their most popular wedding cake options and let you take home the leftovers. When we met again a few weeks before the wedding, we decided we wanted a different flavor than we tasted and they were able to accommodate that flavor for us. He was also able to create a design for the cake that was exactly what we wanted. The cake tasted AMAZING and we couldn't have been happier with it. As someone who grew up going to Gerardo’s for treats there was no question who would be our wedding cake baker and Gerardo did not disappoint! He was incredible and made us an amazing cake that I only wish I could have eaten more of that night! It was a super fresh, moist cake with delicious filling and gorgeously decorated!

Our cake was BEAUTIFUL. I could not ask for anything better and not to mention the cake itself was delicious. We could not imagine a better tasting or better looking cake for our special day.

My husband and I used Gerardo's for a cannoli station at our wedding reception, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The cannolis were fantastic (side note - make sure you actually take some time to eat them because you don't want to miss out). They packed up a box for my husband and I to take home, as well as both our parents to take. My husband's grandmother was the one who paid for the station. The guys who worked the station knew that and they went out of their way to talk to her and make her a box to take home. The guys were so nice and great to work with. Extremely professional and great to chat with. The cannoli station was definitely a guest favorite and was well worth the money. I would highly recommend it.

The process was super simple, the cake options are all so tasty, and the prices are extremely affordable. We were so happy to see the final result of our cupcakes and top cake—the cupcakes were a HUGE hit and everyone enjoyed them! We give Gerardo’s the highest recommendation for any wedding cake/cupcake needs!

I set up a dessert bar for my daughter's bridal shower and orders crème puffs, macaron, cherry bombs, eclairs, petit fours and an exceptionally gorgeous cake. My guests raved about the decorating and that everything was so delicious.

Our cake was DELICIOUS but Gerardo was anything but personable. We showed up at our meeting and it did not feel personable at all. We were definitely just another business deal. If he were not included in our venue package we probably would not have chosen them.

They went so fast, we had no left overs and my husband and I actually took a second bite following the first just because it tasted so good!! We’ll be going back to gerardos for all of our cakes!! We loved Gerardo's. The owner was so incredibly nice and great to work with. Our cake was exactly as I described and more beautiful than I envisioned. He even checked in with me a few times to go over some things which I really appreciated. Most importantly the cake was so absolutely delicious. When we cut the cake during our reception we just wanted to stand there and have another slice it was so good. We also had a cannoli station at our wedding provided by Gerardo's. It was an awesome touch. People raved about it. Also the staff provided by Gerardo's was great, they even packed up some cannoli's for our parents and us to take home. I am so happy we found Gerarado's. We do not live close to the bakery, but we will drive out of our way to get some more of their delicious sweets.

The ability to work with Gerardo and his staff to pick the correct desserts for our guests at extremely reasonable pricing was perfect for us. We wanted to offer a variety of options and that is exactly what we got. Gerardo provided delicious desserts that were favorites amongst our guests and the 1 tier cake we had as a couple was perfect (we would highly recommend the Vanilla Cake with Cannoli Frosting to anyone). Gerardo's was great to work with. When we were looking at bakers, everything was a compromise, and what we were looking for all came at an additional cost, but not here. We cannot emphasize the value here enough. The cake was delicious (I sometimes dream about it still) and the price was reasonable with no up-charges. Also, when you order a cake here, they recreate the top layer for your one year anniversary. We cannot recommend Gerardo's enough, everything they did was perfect.

Flavors are so good and Gerardo really helped us out. I picked a photo I liked and I picked one that had real flowers. He said I would have to go through my florist and pay for it. I was stressing out and asked if he could do something like it. He could tell I was overwhelmed so he offered to buy flowers and put them in himself for free. So nice of him
