use I couldn’t wait to give her feedback. I am blissfully ignorant when it comes to flowers and had no idea what I wanted for our wedding - all I knew is that I wanted most of our wedding details to be white and gold and for the flowers to be really colorful and romantic. I didn’t give Geri a lot to work with - maybe five random pictures I nabbed from Pinterest as inspiration - and she still brought my vision to life in the most beautifully elegant way! I was literally getting compliments on the flowers the entire night, which if you knew me, you’d know that feedback is so off-brand for me. Geri also helped us with our wedding reception exit by lining up hundreds of battery-operated candles since our venue had a no flame/no confetti policy, so flowers aren’t her only domain. Lastly (because I think there’s a lot to be said about how everyone handled the pandemic), I was crushed last year when my husband and I had to postpone our wedding, and Geri couldn’t have made our postponement easier. She’s an amazing florist and an even more amazing person that goes above and beyond for her clients, and if you’re looking for a sign to book her - here it is!

The communication, the flexibility (MUCH needed if your wedding is during a pandemic or even better when it's raining on the day of), the timeliness, the professionalism, the KINDNESS in her heart... this list could go on and on! We had to make so many changes leading up to our wedding due to the pandemic and Geri took each one with stride and helped us work through it together. On the day of our wedding we had to change so many things due to the rain (and then the rain going away and switching everything back).. when other vendors made this a headache, Geri went above and beyond to make these changes perfect. Every time we look back, we think of how gorgeous our wedding was because of Geri and her creativity. I know I'll be coming back to Geri for future events and for families and friends. the way through - responded immediately to my inquiry, gave me advice on the arrangements, let me know when the flowers arrived a few days before the wedding (to allow time to blossom and become more full), confirmed delivery time, and showed up on time. Of all the services I ordered, everyone commented on the FLOWERS. I had one bouquet and one centerpiece and they were the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen. I could not be happier. Pleasant, prompt, and professional - please don't bother with anyone else!!!!!

in decorating it. She followed my color scheme and style and helped me to save pennies as often as possible. She suggested moving my ceremony decorations to the reception area during cocktail hour to make the result even more beautiful. I gave her my budget and she stuck to it. She even noticed a mistake in my contract that would have increased the price and basically threw the additional services in for free. She is a woman of her word. The week of the event I had a number of people drop off of my guest list and we needed less tables. She used the extra flowers left over to beef up the remaining tables and the result was amazing! I am so grateful for Gerilyn and her beautiful work!!!

rning of my wedding they showed up late and told me they were told to arrive at that time, when in fact as soon as my final payment was made I never heard from them about timing and no one bothered to ask. Also, the flowers in my bridal bouquet broke off after about 30 minutes. Luckily my day was not ruined because of them but the stress I underwent that morning and the treatment I received when they finally did arrive was horrible.

our contract. Due to a severe injury I was forced to undergo multiple surgeries which obviously took up our attention. Admittedly we were not as responsive as they would have liked. Despite our contract not being accepted was the fault of their system our contract was cancelled within a month of our wedding date via email. After days of attempting to contact them we were finally able to get things resolved, or so I thought. An email was sent to my father-in-law to sign the replacement contract which he did not respond to. They were told the email should be sent to my wife to insure it was taken care of since he travels constantly for work and often is not able to be reached. We received another message informing us that our contract was going to be cancelled again. We got the issue resolved despite the fact the neither of the owners nor the assistant answered or responded to our phone calls. We were finally informed that, despite giving them what they needed and being polite throughout the entire process, that any further communication should be through the wedding venue and not directly. While I will not pretend that we were perfect customers we were consistently cordial and polite in our dealings, I did not think it very professional for them to pass the blame of the entire experience onto us via a long email essentially saying that we were terrible customers and all of the issues were due to us. Especially since this all would have been avoided by them accepting the contract and payment information that was originally sent. After reading the email exchanges the wedding planner for the venue agreed that their response to us was not necessary. At the end of the day all could have been forgiven as long as the decorations were as flawless as the recommendations suggesting Geri Gianna Events to us said we could expect. Unfortunately my wife bouquet was dying and browning before it even got to her. Imagine the disappointment as she is taking photos with what she expected to be a gorgeous bouquet, and hers is the only bouquet that is dying. Her response to them was "you get me better bouquets at the grocery store". I hate to come off as a disgruntled patron but this is simply an honest review of our experience with the company.

erest wedding. The arrangements were beautiful and all the flowers were perfectly picked. I had a special door arch for the ceremony and her arrangements were fabulous. They were on time and the setup was done as expected. The only missing item was the up-lighting under our cocktail tables and the lighting package wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I honestly didn't follow-up with them to ask what happened. So please take that observation at face value and just ask more questions about the final lighting product. I would definitely recommend them for your event. Geri was also great about putting a personal touch on her service, I especially liked her handwritten letters thanking us for our clientele. When we met with her, she made us feel special and valued and really cared about creating the wedding we want; there wasn't one thing she said she "couldn't" do. The only reason I gave them four stars is because we felt "baited and switched". We initially met with Geri who was amazing – she really sold us (we were deciding between three vendors) and we were certain we wanted to go with her right after we met her. Then we were handed off to her husband who is in charge of the operational part of the business. We never met him in initial meetings; it wasn't until after we signed the contract that he was pulled in to start dealing with us. We found him to be very abrasive and quite frankly he "freaked" me out a little when discussing our plans. Conversations had with Geri appeared not to be communicated to him and there was a huge disconnect about plans for our wedding. He was also always reminding us that if we had hired them as a planner they could do x, y, or z, but without that they were limited (and these were things that had already been discussed with Geri). He also changed what was previously discussed with Geri based on "changes in their policies" which was never communicated to us – so we were going along as planned. Glad I asked a lot of questions of him or I would have been in trouble with certain items later down the road. Also, when I would send an email to just Geri wanting to speak specifically with her, he would always answer instead. That never gave us a "warm and fuzzy". We got to meet him once because he invited us to come to an event they were setting up to see behind the scenes. Again, he was a bit abrasive and my husband I just didn't really connect with him like we did Geri. Luckily the final plans and sign-off happened with Geri. At our final meeting we met with Geri and arranged all the final details with her. Geri's husband was in the office that day, but never once came out to say hello, greet us or confirm our final décor while we were there. He was just rather unfriendly and unapproachable. It was like night and day on the customer service end with Geri and her husband. I believe you would really like Geri if you decide to use them for your event, but just ask to meet her husband upfront and clear the air about how they handle their customers. It's important that you know and can work with the whole team – this is your wedding and it's difficult without there being awkwardness between you and your vendor. It will save you from a lot of surprises down the planning road.

to go through with what I did. Everything leading up to my wedding was for the most part, pleasant. Geri is very sweet and personable. Her husband, David, is extremely rude. I always bit my tongue when I was exchanging emails with him because he always came off as very pompous, arrogant and all he ever wanted was money asap. The evening of my wedding, everything ended approximately 30 minutes earlier then planned. The G&G on site staff were notified that the wedding was going to end early and to PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Long story short, I received an email from David, THE DAY AFTER MY WEDDING about how disappointed he was with everything and how a 5 star resort could deliberately toss their belongings in the corner and the room was completely empty with their belongings damaged. He completely vented to me about every thing he could complain about, WHEN I AM HIS CLIENT!! The end of the email basically ended with, if I did not respond back to him about the situation, he was automatically going to charge my credit card for the so called 'losses/damages' the next business day without my consent or even trying to discuss it over with me. I reviewed the photos and to share something really ridiculous, he sent me a photo of a goblet with wax in it from the tealight. THAT IS A DAMAGE?!!!! FIRST OF ALL, as a professional catering to his clients, why would he think that this would not completely appall me? He should have directly taken this up with the venue before sending me such a disgusting email. I was so furious how he could write such a degrading email to me not even 24 hours after I got married. Not to mention, I have waited nearly a month to write this review to see if they would respond back to my numerous emails that I have written to them trying to reconcile to situation and I haven't received NOT ONE response back. They will literally take your money and run. I have spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS with this company and this is the thanks that I get? If you want to deal with a company that has no sense of professionalism and that will make you feel so unappreciated for your business, go with them! I would NEVER EVER want any couple to deal with a company like this on what is supposed to be the best day of their lives yet.

t have worked. My husband and I had concerns about flowers being wasteful, since this was a destination wedding for us. Gerilyn was able to set us up with a charitable organization that took our flowers to a rehabilitation center. It meant a great deal to us that we were able to do this. One of the things I like the most was Gerilyn's calm demeanor. I said to each of my vendors that on my wedding day I just wanted my mother and I to be relaxed. She absolutely accommodated us. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She's pleasant, friendly, professional, and just plain good at her job. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I would absolutely re-hire her. Can not recommend more highly.

They covered every detail for the wedding which included beautiful table centerpieces, reception and ceremony décor with draping and lighting at the Marriott Palm Beach Resort, all of the wedding bouquets, and the linen and chair rentals. Every detail was thoroughly explained and the end result was amazing. The flowers were stunning. Their professionalism was superb! We could not have been any happier, and can't thank them enough for making the wedding picture-perfect!!

er, she actually did the complete opposite - causing frustration, anxiety, and utter aggravation. Gerilyn came recommended by my wedding venue. Which, I must note, turned out to be because she was friends with the assistant manager! She has since been removed from the list of recommended vendors following my wedding because of her complete lack of professionalism and competence. As far as florals, I was very specific and very simple in what I wanted. I sent her many pictures. She assured me over and over that she understood and could do this. However, she DID NOT deliver on anything I had said. For example, several of the vases had 1-2 stems! That's it! Truly my three year old nephew could have done a better job. As far as "planning" and "coordination" (because she did not do either of these things) - she came to our meeting unprepared. She came to the rehearsal unprepared. My mom and I had to organize it! She didn't contact any of my vendors (which was fine bc I didn't trust her to do it at this point anyway). To the very last minute of walking down the aisle, she still didnt know what she was doing. It was as if this was her first wedding! I can't even tell you how many hotel employees I had come up to me during and after the wedding apologizing for how much she ruined. (Of course, they were irritated too, as her failures fell on to them!). I even had someone tell me that she was SITTING WITH HER FEET UP DURING THE WEDDING. When asked what she was doing she said 'its ok, no one can see me'. Oh - and the best part - she used pictures from my wedding that were MY ideas and MY organization and posted them to facebook as if they were her own! (They have since been taken down). Had this not been a destination wedding, I would have never used her.

My favorite thing, Geri personally delivered my bouquet on my wedding day, everything fell into place perfectly after that. All my guests loved the flowers at the church and reception and where still talking about them and showing pictures a week after.

the lighting and every little extra detail was BEAUTIFUL! We also used Geri as our day of coordinator. She took care of everything and made our day run so smooth!! I can not thank her enough!!
