privacy for our event (compared to other wineries in the area) and also the flexibility of Saturday or Sunday for our event. The food and wine were excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The venue is beautiful and required minimal decoration on our part. The owner Christina and the wedding coordinator were so helpful but never overbearing. At one moment during the dancing, I stepped off the dance floor momentarily to fix the bobby pins in my hair. Within seconds, they were at my side to assist me, when I had no idea they were even nearby! We really loved the personal and intimate touch of the venue and friendly staff, wholeheartedly recommend.

d it was lovely, but this wedding venue was outstanding! Lets start at the beginning. The planning portion is so easy. GBV has a list of outstanding vendors with reasonable pricing. From Sweet Pea Flowers, Jeremy Hersch DJ, Hulse Photographer, and Ginger the dessert lady, every thing was top notch and all the vendors went out of their way to make the day as special and stress free as possible. Then there is Christina ( the owner of this amazing property) and Kai ( wedding Angel). They helped us every step of the way. Everyone kept asking me why I was so relaxed, and it was because I was in such good hands. On Friday night the fun begins. We were able to drop off all of the supplies. The wedding and bridesmaids dresses, beer, soda and signs we had bought. The room was already set up to perfection by the end of the rehearsal so you can relax knowing its going to be beautiful. Christina is so organized and ran the rehearsal like a military operation and got the group in shape ( You need this kind of guidance by Friday evening) Another thing not to worry about. Then Saturday arrives. We got to the Bride room at 11am where there is plenty of room for hair and makeup and a wonderful opportunity for me to spend time with my daughter and the bridal party. Hulse photography came to take pictures at 3pm and the whole experience could not have been better. Then its time The guests arrived to a welcome sangria , in the shade, overlooking the beautiful grapes on the vine. and the beautiful views of the De Portola Wine area. Then they were escorted to the ceremony area The wedding ceremony is in its own area with a beautiful gazebo, rock waterfall and pond. OMG! The ceremony begins and all eyes are on the bride as the doors dramatically open from the bride room to see her appear at the top of the stairs for a very grand entrance. Next, the little things. After the ceremony, the bride and groom get a few minutes away in the bride room supplied with snacks and champagne to enjoy the moment and take a breath. But that's not all. The family is not forgotten. While we waited for the B and G to have their moment, we had tables and chairs waiting for us. Wine, beer and water was provided as well as passed appetizers. We got the opportunity to enjoy the moment with the grooms family and spend time with the wedding party. It was really a special moment in the wedding. After pictures, the party started. Kai ( our go to angel) kept a glass of wine in my hand all night long. The food was top notch, we kept to the time line and had plenty of time to celebrate, photo booth, drink, catch up with everyone and have all your guests tell you how great the wedding is. Christina and Kai were there the entire time making sure everything was going how we wanted. At 10:50 we had a beautiful sparkler send off. The night was magical. If you are lucky enough to get the chance to have your wedding at this venue I can not state how happy you will be.

n't realize on our first look at this venue. First, getting married here is affordable! We almost didn't come to GBV because we thought it would be out of our price range, but it turned out to be one of the best values in Temecula, especially given all that's included in the package (full-time onsite coordination, lots of decor items, plenty of wine included, option to bring your own beer, etc.). Second, because they only do one wedding per weekend and you work directly with the owner who lives on site, GBV manages to have the feel of an intimate, non-pretentious mom and pop winery while still having all the grandeur you see in the photos. As soon as we stepped on the grounds, we immediately felt the difference in personal character between GBV and every other winery we visited in Temecula. Finally, this was the only place we found in the area where the party could go all the way to 11pm! In addition to all this, the venue itself is absolutely perfect. The ceremony site on the hill (with a new pond that made it even better than when we first booked the venue) has the best view in Temecula. The reception space feels intimate and tight-knit, but is still spacious enough for plenty of dancing. Most importantly to us, the large doors of the reception space open up to the stunning back patio, allowing you to fully take advantage of having your wedding a winery with this kind of view. Being able to hang out so close to the vines and look out over the whole valley during the cocktail hour and at sunset was extremely special. There's plenty of space on the patio to set up lawn games and a photobooth. Finally, shout-out to the caterer. We were told when we booked the place that they have the best food you'll ever taste at a wedding, and they're not kidding. The dual-entree plates they serve (with so many delicious options, it's hard to choose) are awesome portions and have amazing flavor. Most importantly, all of this was possible because the people you get to work with at this venue. The owner (Christina) and coordinator (Kai) were an amazing team who had a great vision for what would work at the venue and were extremely communicative and professional with us during the whole process. Kai, who was our point person for a lot of the day-to-day planning, was on top of every little detail while still being friendly and relaxed. She responded to every text within a couple minutes and went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests and come up with creative solutions to things. Paired with Christina's overall vision and experience, this allowed everything to turn out exactly how we wanted it with surprisingly little stress along the way. Overall, they gave us the sense that they were genuinely invested in our wedding being a successful event. Christina and Kai, we truly can't thank you enough!!!

gorgeous, the staff is fantastic. They truly make you feel like part of the family and man are they fun. I was thoroughly impressed with the catering as well. My husband and I are both vegan and knewe that we may have to compromise when looking for a venue that supplied a variety of options. I could not have been happier when the chef made a variety of options for us at out tasting that blew everyone away, meat eaters included. The wine is of course superb. If you are looking for a venue that is equally full of beauty, flavor, and fun, then this is the place for you.

, Christina ALWAYS made sure we were treated just like family. Every time we met with Christina, or just showed up for the fun of it, Christina greeted us and treated us to their AMAZING wines. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Christina was there any time I had questions (which was a lot!), and helped me to ensure we had everything in place for the big day. Not only that, but she truly listened to us and tried to understand everything that WE wanted for our big day. We just loved how we could customize our big day to us! On the day of our wedding, Christina was a godsend. She helped to rally all the vendors, point them in the correct direction and answer any questions they may have. Christina also helped me, the bride, throughout the day. I was absolutely thankful to have her there that day! Besides the amazing help of Christina and her staff, let’s talk about the venue. The estate and winery, are truly, everything I ever wanted in a wedding. The day could not have gone more perfectly … it was beyond beautiful. My husband and I are so thankful we were able to have our wedding at Gershon Bachus Vintners. It is a day that not only we will never forget, but our friends and family as well. find in the area. But it is the service of the staff and the care they put into the day that makes it spectacular. First off, due to the time of year we knew there would be a chance of rain. So instead of choosing a place that we had to spend $2-4k on tents we went with a place that had a contingency in place at no additional cost. Turns out it was a good choice because we actually did have some rain, but it's not like it really had an impact on our day. Christina and Kenny made sure our day went off without a problem and we couldn't be more thankful. Oh yeah, if you are a fan of wine then you couldn't do better. Their wine is fantastic :)

ld choose this venue for your wedding: - The owner/coordinator. Christina is amazing at what she does. Right from the start she'll treat you as a friend, not a customer and help guide you along the way and on the day of. - They are closed to the public the day of your wedding. I challenge you to find another local winery that will do this for you....you won't. - The staff. The staff here are like one big family working in unison to make everything go smoothly and offer a 10+ experience to you and your guests. - The food. Sorrel's bistro who caters weddings here is INCREDIBLE. The menu choices are high quality, high class, and the opposite of "wedding food". - The preferred vendors. The preferred vendors were also top notch and absolutely incredible. Christina went well above and beyond her role of coordinator and became a friend. She helped my wife with the expected day of malfunctions (hair, make-up, dress, etc) and even stayed after the event to help my bride deconstruct her hair. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the venue we picked and look forward to wine tasting at Gershon Bachus for years to come.

us are the only ones who closed down the day of the wedding. This was a lot less stressful for us and our guests. Christina and the whole GBV crew were organized, supportive and fun, which made our lives MUCH easier. I'd heard all the horror stories of the things that could go wrong at a wedding. I was expecting it! We worked with wonderful vendors who assured me that if anything did go wrong, I wouldn't be bothered with it. I can truly say that everything was perfect (at least as far as our guests and we knew). We highly recommend Gershon Bachus. You will get a personalized experience and beautiful venue. Plus, the wine is great! My husband's boss bought a whole case and we're been Wine Clique members. Cheers!

I stressed about the timing, but Christina was calming and made me feel as though everything would work out. She coordinated and handled everything amazingly. Did I mention our wedding was perfect… I appreciate all the help from the GBV family and Christina. And unlike many weddings that I have been to, the food and wine were amazing!

r is/was, a pros and cons list is the best way: Pros: -Venue/View -Alcohol is included in the price per person -Cheapest price in Temecula wine country -Wine is great -My day was perfect Cons: -Owner, Christina, is a nightmare to deal with as she will not allow you to do things your way and fights you every step of the way -Staff members used our photo booth that we paid for and without our permission or knowledge -Candy left over from our candy bar was never returned to us when we had bags of candy left -Leftover food was never given to us when we paid for meals of people who did not show up and was told that we could have them but they mysteriously went missing -The owner promised from day one that she would help with our set up but failed to do that day of so my dad and family friend had to set everything up while she gave tours -Gave three tours of the venue while we were getting ready day of, when we were told the site would be closed all day -The owner got upset that i did not use her recommended vendors even though in the contract i could use whoever i wanted. -The owner was pushy and made me extremely stressful leading up to the ceremony b/c we were running 15min behind -The owner would not let us place tables where we wanted just because of the fact that no one has done it before -The equipment for the water and juice were dirty with mold that we had to tell them to clean it before it was used -The owner, argued with me about reserved signs being place on tables when in fact they were placed by me personally on the tables -Not clear of how you are charged, and there is a blurred line of child meals Overall I would have found another beautiful location so that I did not have to deal with the owner, she truly made the experience especially after and the days leading up to the day so stressful. I am a very organized person and truly had this wedding done until the owner did not like that I wanted to do things a little different since it was my day and my vision, it really is her way or the high way. If you want someone who will just take control of your wedding then this is the place for you but if you have a voice or vision then do not pick this place. I wish this view and venue were not owned by them, then this would be a truly wonderful experience. My day was not ruined at all thank goodness for my wonderful parents and wedding party and coordinator.

By the time the wedding came along, all the staff and owners of GBV felt like close friends and were very much a part of the party. The food was excellent and hearty, the atmosphere was idyllic and the wine was incredible. I would absolutely recommend Gershon Bachus to anyone looking to have a vineyard wedding in the most beautiful location!

elt like family! They were so great about answering all of our questions while showing us around. Christina had tons of great ideas for things we could do and ways to save money. All of the reccommended vendors she has are FABULOUS!!! We booked the venue in August and our wedding was the following June. To say I emailed Christina with thousands of questions during that time would probably be an understatement. Every time I emailed her, she promptly replied! On the day of our wedding, everything went absolutely flawlessly! The place couldn't have been prettier and there was zero stress for us- we just got to get ready and enjoy the day! Our friends and family were in awe of how pretty the venue was! We were in awe that we could afford to have our wedding there since they don't nickel and dime you! Kenny, Christina, Joey and their staff made sure our guests had everything they needed and were well taken care of! I loved that they handle everything! One of the biggest compliments we have recieved from our wedding is how great the food was! The fact that it's all included and organized by one person that you can totally trust is a huge plus in my book! I highly reccommend Gershon Bachus for your wedding!!! I don't have a bad thing to say about it!
