I joined the Gervasi team in 2021 and fell in love with the property, the staff, and everything Gervasi has to offer. As the Sales Manager, my team and I are here to help people find the perfect space for their event! I have been in the hospitality industry for 10+ years, and Gervasi is truly one-of-a-kind—having a so many unique event spaces, it is exciting finding the right space for each guest.

Joining the Gervasi Event Team became a dream come true for me in December of 2024. After moving home to the Canton area, I knew Gervasi Vineyard was the place to be for a passionate event coordinator. The high standards, attention to detail, and genuine care for everyone on property is what drew me to Gervasi, and is what I love about it today. Playing a small role in the moments our clients and guests will remember for a lifetime is a privilege and something I hope to never take for granted. I love my hometown of Canton, Ohio, and being a team member at a world-class establishment that makes our city shine!

I started here at Gervasi in the beginning of February, 2025 shortly after earning my Bachelor’s degree. I love to bring people’s visions to life by coordinating an amazing event that creates lasting memories. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing an event come together successfully and being a part of a special celebration! I feel incredibly grateful to work in such a beautiful environment. Our strong reputation and amazing relationships with the community make me proud to be a part of the team.

I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and just love it! People enjoy viewing the Gervasi property and starting their planning process for amazing events that will be held here so much and it’s such a joy being able to help start that process.

CORPORATE RESORT EXECUTIVE CHEF
I joined the team in January of 2010. I am responsible for preparing all the food for weddings, corporate and other special events at Gervasi, as well as any off-site events. What I love most about working here is the people I get to work with each day, the new challenges and the opportunities they provide that allow me to continue learning. The level of teamwork and working relationship between the entire event staff is great. Everyone does whatever is needed to ensure that every wedding and special event will meet or exceed the expectations of the guests.

I joined the team in May 2012 and have had the pleasure of serving in a variety of roles within the Private Events Department. Over the years, I’ve created countless meaningful memories and built lifelong friendships along the way. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is being part of the special moments and celebrations that guests remember for years to come. It’s been a true privilege to witness Gervasi Vineyard’s incredible growth and transformation into the premier resort it is today. I’m honored to continue growing alongside this amazing family-owned company and am excited for what the future holds.

VILLA GRANDE EXECUTIVE CHEF
I started at Gervasi in the summer of 2015 as a dishwasher at the Villa Grande, I worked my way up and learned everything I could from so many talented people until I became the Pastry Chef. I love the fine science behind baking and how everything comes together. My favorite part of my job is the opportunity to work in the Villa Grande and seeing all the weddings come to life and each couples own personal touch. Champagne Ladies, Bride and Groom Alpacas, Cultural Dances, Horse drawn Carriages, The Cakes, The Gowns, The décor. You get to see into each couples fairy tale wedding and I don’t think anything could be more special.

I eagerly joined the Gervasi team in November of 2021. After a few years in the bridal industry I wanted to expand my knowledge and experience and what better place to do that than Gervasi Vineyard! our wedding from California, which we were initially nervous about. However, the Gervasi team went above and beyond to accommodate our schedules, ensuring that we were able to view and select everything we wanted ahead of the event. On the big day, their attention to detail and impeccable service truly stood out. The food? AMAZING. 10/5 stars! It was beyond delicious, and the portions were so generous that I couldn't even finish 3/4 of it before I was completely full—everyone raved about how amazing the meal was, and we couldn’t agree more. The setting—getting married outside under the stunning tree by the lake—was everything I could have dreamed of and more. We felt so fortunate to have such a beautiful, serene backdrop for our ceremony!! Also, a huge shout out to Maggie, who was an absolute gem to work with! She made sure every last-minute request was taken care of seamlessly, and her attention to detail put us completely at ease. She made sure everything went smoothly and, without a doubt, everything was covered! The entire Gervasi team went above and beyond, and we couldn't have asked for a more flawless experience. We had our 22-person wedding at Gervasi Vineyard. We had our ceremony in The Conservatory and our reception at The Bistro in the Vetrina di Vino (private room in the lower level). ...

It was 100% what we had hoped for!! Both locations were beautiful and perfect! Jenny and Katie, and their teams, were super great to work with. The chefs, bartenders, and wait staff were on point. The food and drinks were fabulous!! The only thing that I wasn’t super excited about was the timeframe to decorate and prep. If we hadn’t hired our own personal event coordinator to assist us directly with decorating and setting up, it would have been too much stress. You aren’t able to decorate in advance. You aren’t able to decorate or drop off anything the night before and nothing before your allotted venue timeframe of 3 hours for The Conservatory and 3 hours for The Bistro. This was definitely not a deal-breaker for us. Just something to think about when booking. Everything worked out well for us and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! Also, another very tiny disappointment- they don’t offer linens. There are no table coverings offered and they only offer their black cloth napkins. This is really minuscule, but I wanted to mention just in case there are questions about this. I was able to get exactly what I wanted on my own and brought them to use. Again, just two tiny downsides that weren’t a deal-breaker. Just know to ask questions about these items, so you don’t assume. This venue was everything to us. We still give Gervasi Vineyard a 5-star rating hands down!!!

Katie at Gervasi was nothing short of amazing! We spent over a year planning and day of had a family emergency causing us to change our entire timeline. One would think this would ...

ruin the day, but Katie jumped to action and coordinated not only Gervasi, but our other vendors as well to ensure our day still went to plan. We had such an amazing day and even though not as expected, it was perfect. I would highly recommend Gervasi for your entire wedding weekend. We stayed in 2 villas and the farmhouse and used the Bistro for the rehearsal dinner. All of our friends and family were able to spend the weekend with us and it’s something we’ll never forget. Thank you Katie and Gervasi for the wedding of our dreams!

every second of the drive. We got married at the Villa Grande in September and my husband and I can't think of anything that could have gone better. The venue was perfect, the staff was amazing, and the food and drink is spectacular. Special shout out to our event coordinator Katie. She was kind and helpful with timely and clear communication every step of the way. She helped so much with set up and making sure everything was perfect, even thinking of the small details we had not even considered. She was truly a gem to work with from start to finish. Go tour this hidden gem Ohio has to offer, you won't be disappointed.

every part of the experience was worth it. The food and wine tasting night was so much fun, and every step of the planning journey felt exciting and special. I highly recommend staying at the farmhouse. It made day-of preparations easy and offered a beautiful, convenient setting. This venue truly made our wedding unforgettable!

Conservatory where we held our ceremony. Our reception at The Bistro was perfect in every way. Jenny, the event coordinator, was outstanding from our very first interaction — extremely responsive and committed to making sure the space was exactly what we envisioned. The dedicated service team was equally professional, keeping the delicious food coming at just the right pace. Our guests loved Gervasi almost as much as we do! We can’t wait to return and enjoy this wonderful place again.
