Could not have had a more unorganized, unprofessional, and disheartening experience. Initially, the first interview we had, the DJ showed up late for the interview. During that interview, we were told a couple had booked our date and we could not book with The Get Down. We were later informed the couple had selected a different date, and that we were ensured we had no competition for our date anymore. We next had a phone interview to confirm our date appointment. We had a verbally agreed to contract. We were sent an incorrect contract after that meeting, and had asked for the contract to be corrected. Instead, we were informed that the same initial couple had booked our same date after we were ensured we had no competition. Words cannot express our heartbreak. This could not have been handled worse, as their error in the contract handling resulted in our inability to book our dream plans with the singular most important experience in our lives. This company is extremely unorganized, unprofessional, and will not deviate from ruining your dream day. What a horrible way to handle a situation. I will be sure to reach out to every venue in the area to dissuade them from utilizing this company. I cannot believe someone would handle such a monumental moment in someone’s life this way.

Get Down Entertainment performed wonderfully at our wedding reception on 12/30/2022! Since day one, Frank was there keeping me calm about all the choices to be made. He made the process very exciting. I was extremely nervous about the music since I had many older people attending but I gave them some songs that they were able to work from to curate the best playlist for the night. They were extremely professional at the reception as well. I will be hiring them for all of my future events and I highly recommend them!

We had the pleasure of working with Brian and his team for our special day. We opted for sparklers, photo booth, up lighting, personalized monogram, and an MC. We of course had the most difficulty picking out our wedding day music. We told Brian what we liked, and how to cater to the crowd. They did not disappoint!! The dance floor was full the entire night. My husband and I requested for one of the dances to be cut at a certain time and transitioned over to another song to open the dance floor - seamless! His team was so accommodating and just so easy to work with. Brian even took my song request sheet up until the day before (don't recommend for your sanity, but they did it!). I can't say enough good things! Thank you Brian and the GDE team!

The music (and the party) were the MOST important things to my now husband and I so choosing our DJ was the hardest choice we had to make. And boy did we choose right. We're type A people from Queens, so we have a lot of personality, and Frank answered every call, text, and email like a true champ. He made leading up to our wedding day as easy as he could and made the night truly unforgettable. We had the time of our lives and the guests couldn't stop raving about the music. If we could relive our reception every night, we'd choose Frank and Get Down Entertainment every time!

We had a fantastic party, I worked with Frank on the hora loca music ahead of time which went great. The formalities music also went very well with one exception in the entrance of my mother and grandmother that made them & myself upset. Our bi-lingual MC was fantastic, the photo booth was good and we received a scrapbook with copies of our guests pictures in physical and digital. The main complaint here is that we spoke several times throughout the process with Frank about how much we cared that both sides of the family felt included at all times which was true in the hora loca but before and after that, the music was very one sided and an amazingly high percentage of the Latin songs I put in for dancing (not hora loca related) were never played which caused people to ask me several times why, and being the bride I had no time to discuss this in the middle of the wedding when we had discussed several times before.

My now husband and I booked our event with Get Down Entertainment and from the moment we booked we knew we were in great hands. Music was one of the most important features of our wedding day as we come from families that love to dance, Brian and his team went above and beyond to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted to hear on our wedding day. They exceeded our expectations and did a great job making sure everyone was on the dance floor ALL night long! Our wedding was so perfect because of the organization and planning that went in prior to the event. We highly recommend Get Down Entertainment and their crew to anyone hosting an event that wants a GREAT DJ!!

Frankie and the GDE Team exceeded every single expectation I had for my wedding day. Ever since the initial inquiry call I had with Frankie, I knew he was going to be my dream DJ. Having a good DJ was SO important to us and Frankie was always there to help hype us up about our wedding day. Throughout the entire planning process, I would constantly go back and forth on my vendors about if I picked the right one, if I should have picked someone else, if I should have looked harder. The one vendor who never made me feel that way from start to finish, was Frankie. One conversation with him and you will understand. He is an absolutely incredible human being and the biggest hype man of all time. He had my husband and I cracking up and soooo pumped every time we spoke with him. His honesty is something so pure and appreciated. I always felt I could put my full trust in him, and he did not prove me wrong! On my wedding day, EVERYONE was coming up to me saying they wanted to hire him for their next event. He has a true passion for his art and it is so amazing to watch. The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT LONG and he hit the nail on the head for exactly the vibe we were going for. I seriously can’t recommend Frankie enough. If you want the best DJ on the face of this earth, hire Frankie now! I promise he will NOT disappoint!!

GDE was amazing. Frank was great to work with and spent a lot of time on the phone with us to go over all the details before our big day. We loved all the music that they played and our guests gave many compliments about the entertainment. GDE truly made our wedding memorable!

GDE is top notch! I can’t recommend Frank and Brian enough. Every meeting we had I felt listened to and respected. They took the music requests my husband and I had and created the perfect playlist for us. Our wedding would not have been as awesome as it was without them.

Get Down Entertainment was so easy to work with and knew exactly the vibe we were wanting at our wedding this spring! Brian was extremely attentive every step of the way, so helpful, knowledgeable and all around very nice guy! They provide you with an online portal to input all your song requests, your do not play list, and any additional information like special dances and speeches. The software also gives you song suggestions based on the dance/entrance type, which was better than anything Google suggested – an invaluable tool. GDE kept the dance floor packed at our wedding till 2 AM! We couldn't be happier that we decided to work with them. We continue to get compliments about how epic our DJ/music was. A million thank you's to Brian and his crew for making our wedding a night we will never forget!!

Frank is an absolute gem of a human being and a fantastic DJ! He makes the entire planning process so easy. As soon as we met with Frank, he was able to figure out our style, got a feel for what we wanted, and the reception absolutely matched that energy. He knows how to read the room and keep everyone on their feet! Without a doubt, these guys are the ones you want setting the vibe at your wedding!

Get Down Entertainment was absolutely incredible! We had a wedding that was rescheduled 6x due to covid and Brian was there with us every step of the way. Extremely helpful, understanding, and always a true professional. Everything about our process was streamlined due to a software they provided us, which allowed us to work together and organize every detail from song lists, to photo booth and everything in between. Get Down Entertainment was absolutely amazing!!!! If you like to party, then you need them at your wedding. We included a drummer and a saxophone player that really took our party to the next level. Everyone was on the dance floor all night which was my plan! Frankie the dj knew exactly what to say/do to get the party started and keep it going. I couldn't imagine my wedding without these guys, the whole set up was sick. They listened to all of my song requests and a million speeches, they got everything right. Our guests even requested 1 more song at the end of the party and Frankie and crew were happy to do it. All of our guests can't stop talking about what a fun time they had on the dance floor and how amazing the music/instruments were. HIRE THEM ASAP!!!!!!

GDE was beyond amazing to work with! Brian went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was one to remember! He is super personable and easy to talk too. My fiancé and I have a large range of music interest so being able to work with the software GDE provided was super helpful. Brian and his crew brought so much energy into our wedding night and had all of us dancing the entire time! Also, they made our venue look extra gorgeous and romantic with additional lighting they provided! Highly recommend GDE for all party needs!!

We are so thankful to have had GDE as our DJ at the wedding. Planning a wedding during the pandemic wasn't easy but Frankie was always there to answer any questions we had and was super flexible with us changing our date. Frankie and Brian did an amazing job providing the type of music we were looking for. We gave them more of an idea on what type of music to play and they couldn't have made a better playlist. Our guests had so much fun on the dance floor and we are currently trying to find an excuse to throw another party so we can book them again!

Get Down Entertainment was so great! From the beginning stages of planning with Frank to the last week and day of with Brian and Teddy everything was so organized and seamless. We wanted to change our date because of COVID halfway through and they were very flexible and reassuring. (ended up keeping our date)These guys have this down pat and made the process super easy instead of stressful! They work so well together and made our day so much fun! Played all of the music we requested and our guests were just so happy!

Very organized process for “do not play” songs and “must play” songs with a personalized wedding website leading up to the day. Professional & Punctual If looking for a DJ for a memorable night I wouldn’t recommend any other DJ in westchester !! (They are not limited to westchester )

We had the best time EVER with Brian and Frank!!!! The dance floor was on fire the whole night. Not to mention how accommodating they were to our Persian/Egyptian wedding...Our guests had a blast and we are so glad we chose them as our DJ!

Frank and team are great to work with. We were originally booked for a May 2020 wedding but postponed twice due to COVID, and GDE was extremely flexible and accommodating as we tried to navigate the situation. We finally got to celebrate in May 2021 and Frank had our guests dancing the entire night. Lots of compliments on the music! Highly recommend GDE!!!

Perfect performance in every regard. "Best wedding I have ever been to" -all of my guests. The horah was incredible. DJ Frankie created the perfect vibe for our party and got everyone dancing the whole time.

We weren't planning on having a traditional dance floor with COVID-19, and DJ Frankie helped us make our wedding so special and creative. With TV screens showing photo slideshows of us in our younger days and with our parents, the most perfect chill-vibe music, Duke on the Sax and DJ Frankie as MC, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. All of our guests still comment on how perfect it was! DJ Frankie and Duke have now done my entire family's weddings (4 in the last 4 years) and I wouldn't change a thing!!

Get Down Entertainment was the BEST choice we made for our wedding. Every single guest raved about how great the music was and enjoyed by ALL (which can be very hard to do). They were incredibly easy to work with and took away all the stress of planning. I was worried the musicians I hired for ceremony music were going to fall through last minute, and Frank told me not to worry and he would be ready to go just in case they did. They kept the party going until the very end. You won’t regret booking them!!

Get Down Entertainment is by far the best DJ you could ask for in Westchester County. They are family friends of me and my wife and we could not have been more happier with our wedding. The music was perfect.

AMAZING dj! From the moment my now husband and I met with Frank, we knew we found the person that would bring our wedding music vision to life! He listened to everything we had to say and made recommendations for the flow of the evening based on the music we like. The online system is great for organizing your ideas and communicating on must play/do not play music. Brian and Frank were incredible the night of and we got so many compliments on how fun the music was. People were on the dance floor all night! We wanted our wedding to be a party and that’s exactly what it was! We went with the photo booth package and got a photo book at the end with pictures from throughout the night. Highly recommend for your wedding and any other function.

Get Down Entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding! Brian and Frank were an amazing MC/DJ team and kept the party going all night. We opted for the photobooth package and were so happy we did! We were given a souvenir photobook at the end of the night which had photos and well wishes from the guests which was a really nice touch. We also thought the online portal was really helpful and user-friendly to select our song lists. Couldn't be happier we chose GDE for our wedding! Brian was great and kept everyone dancing until the very end of the night. Duke and Brandon were absolutely INSANE on the sax and drums!! It was such a pleasure working with Frank and his company from the very beginning to the end of our amazing wedding. Frank was always there for us when we had any questions, and he ALWAYS made sure we were happy. We used him for all of our entertainment services including live musicians ( highly recommended ), lighting, photo booth, MC, any sound hookup. At the end of our event he felt like family!! We found Frankie and GDE through a friend and we’re not disappointed!! I told Frank we wanted a party and he delivered! He made everything so easy and accessible. His price point was great and they had everyone on the dance floor and kept them there! We sat with him about two weeks before and went over how we wanted the ceremony, cocktail and reception to flow and then everything was out of our hands! Everything went off without a hitch! Couldn’t have asked for a better party!

Frank and his team at Get Down Entertainment made all my wedding dreams come true! Upon first meeting with Frank, he was very personable and made us feel like family to him from the get-go. He showed videos of other events he'd done and we were WOW'd. He was so easy to work with throughout the whole process. Frank knows what hes doing and was able to bring my vision to life on the big day. Not only does GDE dj, but they also offer live band services like saxophone and drums, which my husband and I decided to add on for the reception. Brandon on the drums and Matty G on the saxophone were so much fun and really heightened the party experience. Matty G was walking around the dance floor with the saxophone interacting with guests which really got everyone excited and was SO entertaining! Frank was our MC and Dan our DJ. They were PHENOMENAL! They were upbeat, positive, and had the dance floor rocking the whole night. My guests are still raving about Get Down Entertainment and how they kept the party going from the start of reception to finish. He fulfilled all of our requests for the big day and truly made the party what it was! I am so grateful to GDE for really taking my wedding to the next level. They spent time with us understanding the vibe of our wedding and getting to know what music and enhancements we would like. They have an intelligent portal that assists in providing them with specifics closer to the big day. They are invested in making your wedding the best day ever. Brian and company are so enthusiastic about what they do and that shines through in their work. The day of was so AMAZING. They are truly professional entertainers, they had EVERYONE on the dance floor -even guests that never dance. I couldn't have imagined using anyone else. They really are the best out there.

Planning with Frank was very easy. He’s very personable and the Get Down Entertainment web interface is an intuitive tool for adding Must/ If Possible / Do Not Play songs, as well as email reminders. Frank arrived hours before our wedding and seamlessly coordinated with our ceremony and cocktail musicians, ensuring that they had all proper equipment. Frank was the MC for the night. For the wedding intro’s, he was very focused on the proper pronunciation of everyone’s names and nailed it. He’s very tasteful and doesn’t try to shine above the wedding/music by dancing around or constantly yelling into the mic like some other DJ’s/MC’s that we’ve seen. Also, the photobooth that GDE provided was a hit. Their machine is the easiest we’ve used. They provide all prop’s, a guestbook for guests to put a copy of their photos and a note, and a person dedicated to operating the photobooth. We highly recommend GDE and Frank specifically, to others looking for a wedding DJ.

This team is by the far the best in the business! Brian and his team djed our wedding and it was by far the best night for my husband and I as well as all of our guests. Everyone is still raving about how amazing the music and vibe was. The party was going all night long and no one wanted it to end. Brian was so cool to work with and made sure we had the time of our lives. We also were lucky enough for Brian to get us a sax and drums guy which made the night even more memorable. Brian was amazing from the moment we met him to the day of our wedding! When we met for our consultation he explained all the many awesome options we could have for our special day, and after getting to know him it was an easy decision to book! A week before the wedding we met with Frank from GDE who was also amazing! He helped us understand what the wedding day would look like in terms of the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. They have an awesome online system that helps organize all our information and what songs we suggest to play! Made things really easy! Now for the reception....everything was perfect!!! My main goal for the night was that everyone just dance and have fun and that is exactly what happened! GDE made sure to play songs that were attracting the most people to the dance floor! They really did an amazing job, the night could not have gone better! My best friend also booked GDE for her wedding in July so I cant wait to dance some more! :) Thank you so much!

A Magical Evening. The crew was professional,kind and patient. Our guests danced the entire night away. The precussionist, steel drums ,violin and cello added to the phenomenal evening!!!!

We worked with Brian and all I can say is "WOW"! What a great experience from start to finish. He met with us twice before our wedding and listened to every detail we wanted and somehow incorporated everything into the day. We used GDE for ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception and it was the most smooth and flawless time. Brian was so patient and easy to work with. From seamlessly coordinating multiple speeches, finding obscure musical requests to getting the whole wedding involved in doing the Hora, he kept everything on track and got the whole place up and dancing! We also had a live percussionist that added such a fun element to the party and was a total crowd pleaser... The open air photo booth was a huge hit with our guests and the keepsake book they provided was an awesome guestbook option! We have already recommended GDE to all our friends and family & cannot wait to use them again!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about GDE! We knew we would use them right off the bat, as we had been to a few amazing weddings that they DJ'ed. What we didn't know was how personable they were, and how easy they would make the planning process for us. Brian nailed all my special ceremony music requests and even made a special edited version of a song for my brother and I to dance to in honor of my father at the reception. We told them what direction to go in with the reception music but didn't give them specific songs, and they NAILED it. No one sat down the entire night (including us!), and people are still asking who the DJ was. The Photo Booth and slideshows were also a huge hit. Get Down Entertainment was the highlight of our wedding reception! Brian and his team kept our everyone dancing all night from the cocktail hour right into the after party. Our step and repeat, red carpet photo booth was a great addition to the night and everyone had a blast taking pictures. My husband and I are still hearing from guests how much fun they had and how they haven't danced that much in a long time. Get down entertainment was truly the highlight of our wedding. They kept our friends and families on the dance floor all night and then some! They catered the music to all ages. If you don’t use GDE you will surely regret it!!!! The DJ is the heartbeat of your wedding! From the moment we met them they were nothing but personable and caring about everything we wanted our day to be. They take the time to get to know you and your groom and get to know how you want the music to be. Their website makes it easy so if you think of songs you might want played that day you can upload it to your personal site. Not only did they play every song but they did an amazing job at keeping everyone up and dancing on their feet! Almost two weeks later I have family calling me to tell me how amazing our DJ was and how they danced the whole night, and I have a huge family that are in an “older age group” and they said they haven’t danced that much in years! My parents helped us pay for this wedding and parents always have some type of judgement on our decision making lol and even they said “the dj blew us away, and did an amazing job, I would recommend them to anyone!” I had bag pipers come to the reception to surprise my husband and GDE helped me get them there! They said give me your contacts number and we will take care of the rest and they did! I had nothing to worry about the day of my wedding and they kept the flow of the wedding perfectly! I honestly can not thank GDE enough for making our wedding one of the best most fun nights we have ever had in our life! We love you guys!

We loved get down Ent! We met with Frank and immediately knew we were going to use their services, his energy and vision for our wedding was on point. I was able to text him questions and got quick responses. We also used their saxophone player Duke which was a nice add on to give our wedding something different- he played our cocktail hour and then jumped in for some songs as well. He helped us create our timeline and executed along with surf club. Most importantly he got everyone up and dancing all night long which is exactly what we wanted. There are not enough good things to say about get down Ent!

Hiring GDE was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Brian walked my bride and I through the entire wedding reception and made us feel so relaxed about how well everything will go. Brian was well informed, listened to any of our questions and concerns, and accommodated us with anything that we asked for. And the party was better than I could have imagined. The music, the timing, and the energy level was perfect for the entire night. All of our guests were having a blast dancing the night away and many of them came up to us to ask about GDE. And one recently engaged couple came up to us to tell us that they were hoping they could book GDE for their wedding. I cannot thank GDE enough for getting my guests to rock out for the entire night.

I can't say enough great things about Get Down Entertainment! Many of our friends who attended the wedding typically have seen bands at weddings - so when we mentioned we were getting a DJ, we told them "Don't worry - you'll see why when you're there!" ALL of our guests are raving about the entertainment, the dancing, and having a fantastic drummer alongside the DJ (provided by GDE) - they loved it all! Frank is the absolute best, and I could not have been happier with the music, the pace of everything throughout the night, and his direction to our guests on all of the highlight moments of the night (first dances, speeches, cake cutting, etc). We had a lot of great vendors for our wedding, but if there was one I wasn't worried about from the moment I confirmed them for the date, it was Get Down Entertainment. They were professional, responsive, flexible with what we wanted and attentive to our needs. I wouldn't think of using any other vendor for DJ services - that's how happy I was with their service.
