On my wedding day she always made sure I was comfortable and that my hair was flawless and my makeup perfect! All of my bridesmaids loved Kelly and her makeup team! January in Florida is still humid and my hair is naturally stick straight! Her hair and makeup lasted me all day and night! I can’t get over how happy I was that we chose her for hair and her wonderful team for makeup!! She made my wedding day and prep run flawless! Her team was efficient, creative, and personable!!!! a year! I planned and booked Get Gorgeous from California (where i live now) for my December Miami (where I used to live) wedding. I wasn’t able to come home for a trail which was a little stressful, and on the day of when I wasn’t TOTALLY in love with my hair, Kelly immediately said “no problem, let’s get this right.” Then...she NAILED IT! On one of the most humid days in December ever recorded (not sure if this is true but it felt like it), every persons hair and makeup stayed perfect. Every single one of my bridesmaids and both the moms not only looked, but FELT amazing! The team was creative, open to specific ideas, quick, and delivered extremely high quality work. I can’t rave about this team enough. If they have your date available, book IMMEDIATELY and don’t look back—you won’t regret it!! From reminding me to take my hair tie off my wrist, to drink water, to get off my phone and relax...she is the friend you want and NEED on your big day. Not to mention she kept my 2 year old daughter and flower girl entertained as I took some bridal pictures!! Her team of ladies arrived early, set up quickly and quietly and started on my bridesmaids seamlessly and without interrupting a thing! Professionalism is an understatement. The result of being professional mixed with their open minded nature and ability to listen to each bridesmaid’s wants and needs was just want I wanted because I let each of my girls chose their own hair styles! Kelly worked on me personally and besides adding two whole boxes of extensions into my hair & making it look literally real AND perfect, she managed to replicate the style I wanted solely off a photo I showed her. We all have done it and we all have fallen just short of what we were expecting I’m sure but not this time! I’m truly not surprised in the least bit why she’s been #1 on The Knot.com for so many years. I cannot recommend her enough. ommended. Setting up the makeup trial was a breeze, Charlene came to my house and I loved my look. For the hair trial, I went to Kelly’s salon and felt right at home. On my wedding day, Kelly was so caring; she reminded me of little things like staying hydrated and having snacks throughout the day and taking the hair tie off my wrist so as not to leave a mark for the pictures. She really cares about her clients and making their entire wedding day experience nothing short of amazing! Everyone’s hair and makeup was gorgeous! The makeup accentuated each person’s features without looking like they had pounds of makeup on. I LOVE that she uses airbrush foundation, it feels like you have nothing on your skin. The hair was perfect for my tropical beachy wedding, with braids and curls everywhere. Getting my pictures back from the photographer and seeing how amazing everyone looked just made me that much happier that I chose Kelly! You can’t go wrong with her and her team!!!!

Honor in the wedding party. She is very sweet, friendly and listens to what you are envisioning and makes it reality. The makeup was flawless. I had never had airbrush makeup done before; it lasted all night without budging and I have oily skin. My hair looked flawless and stayed in place as well as curled all night, even through dancing and Florida humidity/heat. Not only did she make the brides' special day special, she also made me feel just as special. I highly recommend Get Gorgeous by Kelly. n Kelly personally for a long time. I booked a trial and knew within 5 minutes of meeting Kelly that I'd found "the one" since she was so warm and friendly! I explained that I wanted a natural look since I don't wear a lot of make up. I was concerned of not looking like "me" on my wedding day. Kelly totally understood and used airbrush make up to create a natural but special look. I came armed with photos of about 5 different hairstyles from Pinterest, I have thin hair and I was worried I'd need to buy extensions. Kelly styled a hair look which was a combination of the photos from my phone and the ideas we discussed - no extensions needed! During the time between my trial and wedding day, Kelly helped me select accessories and a lipstick. On the day of my wedding, we sadly had some terrible news, my husband's grandmother passed away under unexpected and tragic circumstances. Kelly was like an angel to me. She kept watch over me, gave me pep talks, sweet hugs and her presence was calming and reassuring among chaos. She even stayed to help me get dressed and make sure I was okay, which she did not need to do but was so appreciated! On the make-up/hair side, Kelly and her team did hair and/or make up for me, my mother and MIL, 2 MOH and 6 bridesmaids - everyone was happy and looked absolutely fabulous (I will upload photos when I have them)! I've never felt more confident or beautiful... Like a better version of myself. I received many compliments and as I began my review, it is hard to convey exactly how incredible Kelly was. She was an absolute angel and without her support I don't know if I would have got through the morning/afternoon... On the technical side, her work is perfection! I highly recommend Kelly and her team - they were professional, kind and did amazing work!

totally disappointed and discouraged. In both instances makeup was too heavy, it didn’t’ look natural and I didn’t feel nor look like myself. I was somewhat apprehensive to look for another makeup artist and go for another trial. Not to mention, I was on a tight schedule and running out of time. I then came across Kelly on the knot.com, what a Blessing ! I met Kelly for my trial, she was simply a nice, personable, , young lady. I explained how I typically like to wear my makeup and what I was looking for. She was attentive, listened and began her artistic work. I was pleasantly surprised... it looked natural, beautiful, and polished, I couldn’t ask for more. On my Wedding day, Kelly was punctual and looked her usual cute self in a pretty dress, wanted to keep her for the party !! My usual hairdresser did my hair and Kelly did my makeup. Kelly also did makeup for My Mom, Maid of Honor and Sister in Law, and she also styled hair for Maid of Honor and Sister in Law. Everyone had their special requirements but Kelly was just wonderful in making sure everyone’s requests were met. Not only is she a talented makeup artist and hairdresser, she is professional, calm, sweet, and fun !!!! In the end, everyone was extremely happy and everyone looked absolutely Beautiful !! Thank You so, so much Kelly for contributing happy memories on my Wedding Day !!!! Just can't thank you enough. You are AWESOME, wish you continued success !!!!
