I have been going to Nella since I wanna say 2012. I trust no one else with my hair but her! On top of that, I have had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid to two gorgeous brides who hired Nella for their wedding and I could not have been more happy and ecstatic with the job that was done. She is worth every penny! The amount of compliments on got in my hair and makeup was endless!! I am getting married next year and I can't wait to Get Nellafyd on my special day!!

Nella is not only sweet but very knowledgeable about hair and makeup. She doesn’t cake on makeup to make you look like someone else, she enhances each persons beauty with the makeup she uses. As for hair, she can work on any hair especially mine which is thin and she can make it look amazing. You show her a picture and she matches it perfectly! She is a beautiful person inside and out and the only one I trust for big important functions. Her assistant Tatyana is also the best compliment to her business!

Nella and Tatiana did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and I couldn’t be happier!! I got so many compliments! They also did my Mom’s hair and makeup, as well as my sister and two sister in laws (MOH and bridesmaids) and flower girls and everyone was so thrilled with how they looked! Nella and Tatiana are very personable and fun to hang out with while they are doing your hair and makeup, making the time fly by. They also offer a service where they can stay until the reception entrance, doing touch ups to the bride and bridal party. We did this and were so glad that we did because they helped with sooo much! Nella kept fixing my veil because the winds kept messing it up, they were placing my dress properly on the ground for photos, they kept reminding me to keep my bouquet at a certain height. They were just sooo helpful and wonderful!!! They made my wedding day that much better. I highly recommend them for your wedding!! They truly care about what they do. They are passionate about their work!

Nella is the best! She does hair and makeup so beautifuly. She listens to you, gives honest feedback and suggestions and makes the experience exciting and fun. I had the pleasure of working with Nella and her assistant on a wedding I coordinated. She was the consummate professional and amazing to work with. This stylist/magician worked some miracles at my wedding! Not only did she make my hair flawless, she made up my face so well that when I cried tears of joy while dancing with my dad, my make up stayed perfectly in place. She even refreshed my make up when I began to perspire from taking photos on our hot yet beautiful day! She is truly talented!

Nella is The best ever!!! My makeup looked perfect all day (no touch ups needed). Literally, fantastic. We are all booking Nella for my sisters upcoming wedding. She is so friendly and really is intune to what her clients want.

Where to begin--- first, I used Nella in the past and had a great experience. However, when I decided to use her again for my son's baptism, it was a complete disaster. I contacted Nella, or so she claims, I contacted her assistant, and confirmed the appointment several times. I have these confirmations in writing. The event was on a Sunday and I confirmed that the shop would be opened at 7:30 am to service myself and my mother. I arrived at 7:40 am to find the shop closed with no one in sight. I texted the shop number several times and received no reply. I had to do DAMAGE CONTROL and go to Austin Street in Forest Hills to locate another salon that would be kind enough to do an up-do in short notice. Weeks later, I received an apologetic message from Nella and she advised that her assistant was responsible for the missed appointment. In my opinion, a professional business person should be checking their schedule each week to make sure no appointments go unnoticed. I would NEVER trust this salon or Nella ever again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, STAY FAR AWAY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

I cannot say enough great things about Nella and her team. From the moment I met Nella, I felt comfortable with making her part of my wedding day. Through the day of the wedding we had calls to discuss the services that I needed and discussed timelines. Prior to the wedding, most brides have a make up trial, but I trusted Nella so much that I didn't feel I needed one. As Nella promised, she arrived early at my hotel on the wedding day and was set up in no time. Nella, Tatiana and Jenny worked as a team in making all my bridesmaids, mothers and even my flower girl look beautiful. As for me, I couldn't be happier with the time Nella spent with me and how beautiful she made me look. Nella definitely has the passion and talent for bridal and I couldn't be happier with having her and her team be part of my wedding day. Nella, thank you for making us feel and look beautiful!

There is no other words to say about Nella and her team other then they are truly AMAZING. On your wedding day, you are nervous, happy, crazy, and you just want an amazing person to not only make you look ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, but to also be the calm in your storm. She is a true professional and will adhere to all your request that are made prior and during your big day. She will work with you to perfect that wedding day image you have always dreamed of. From the moment you meet her at your trial she is sweet, caring, and takes her time to know exactly what you want and need. She will also share her ideas and advise that will look great with your face structure. From that day on, I contacted her with changes and adjustments and she was very open to hearing them. The day of she just made everything perfect. I definitely recommend her to anyone!

I'm going to preface this review by saying that I NEVER write reviews. But Nella and her team are worth spreading the word about! From the beginning (my trial), Nella and her assistant Kaity were very professional, while being very personable and welcoming. They made me feel so beautiful and at ease that I booked them for my wedding day on the spot. On the day of my wedding, which was 2 days ago, Nella and Tatiana arrived on time with a pre-planned schedule that she adhered to very well. My mother, sister, sister-in-law, and niece loved them! They did beautiful hair and makeup work and made the getting ready process smooth as well as stress-free for all of us. Nella and Tatiana are really talented and know their stuff! As the ceremony got closer, things got hectic, but Nella and Tatiana came to the rescue and went above and beyond to keep me calm. I mean, Tatiana helped me distribute the bouquets to my bridesmaids and even helped set scenes for my photographer. What hair and makeup artists do that?! They are just really amazing and started off my day in such a positive way. They are worth every penny. Book them ASAP!

Nella is truly amazing. Very professional and patient, she always makes sure she has enough time for your makeup and hair. The day of the wedding she came super prepared and earlier than scheduled with an amazing attitude and positivity. Nella will tell you straight up if she thinks a certain hair style or makeup does not look good on you. She is always willing to give you great advice and brilliant ideas, regarding wedding planning and other wedding related topics. Nella is very responsive to emails, text messages and phone calls. I am super happy I picked Nella because the makeup and the hair looked amazing. The day of my wedding a lot of things went wrong except for the hair and makeup. :) Thanks to Nella I was glowing. I do not regret a penny I spent the day of my wedding on hair and makeup. The hair/makeup looked amazing even the next morning when I woke up after the wedding and I think it's worth mentioning that the day of my wedding the weather was disgustingly humid, sticky and hot... She uses the best products out there to make your day memorable. Money well spent and truly worth. Do not be cheap when it comes to makeup and hair because the pictures will be the most important memories your will have after your wedding/special event. If you are fortunate enough and Nella and her crew is still available for your wedding, please do yourself a favor, do not think twice and book the appointment with her before she becomes unavailable. Wow is the first thing that I can say. I have known Nella and her team for two years. I booked Nella the week after I got engaged. Unlike many brides I actually did not have a hair/makeup trial because my schedule was completely hectic. I trusted in Nella and her professionalism so I wasn't worried. On the day of my wedding Nella, Tatiana and Kaity arrived to my hotel suite before me and set up as scheduled. My MOH, Bridesmaid, Mom and Mother in law were getting all glamorized also by Nella's outstanding team. Their work was flawless and not one of my girls could even complain or gesture to change something because everything was phenomenal. Nella worked on me and I showed her one picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and told her to do my makeup as she saw best (she nailed it). I was blown away by her work and my guest also shared the same opinion. Even my mother that is picky couldn't even say anything but positive things. The team helped me get into my dress and even added glitter on my body because of my outside ceremony. They were even kind enough to help my flower girls with some makeup which I had not asked them to do. Nella and her team provided my bridal party and I amazing calm vibes during the whole process. I will forever be grateful for how great they were. Every bride need the experience only Nella and her team can provide.

Nella and her team are the best. Prior to my wedding, I asked Nella for wedding tips and she was nothing but informative. I also booked my bridal trial with her and she provided so many options on how to do my hair. I am not one who does her own make up or hair so she helped me out a lot and made me decide quickly on how I wanted to look on my special day which was natural and simple. Once I hired her and team, she provided me with a timeline on when we should all get ready. I had 7 bridesmaid and she worked on me as the rest of her team worked on my girls and my mother. Each of the girls, including my mom provided a look they wanted and they were able to transform them to such beauties. All the girls were happy with the work Nella's team did and I was extremely happy with Nella's work and result. She has great attention to detail, she takes her time. She hears your thoughts and concerns and works with you. The day of my wedding it was nothing but smiles from Nella and her team. Whenever I re-new my vow and throw a big party, I will not hesitate to call Nella as I trust she will do a magnificent job.

I just had my makeup done last week for my friends wedding. The whole bridal party was very happy with Nella and her teams work. My hair and makeup came out just as I asked for. Our hair and makeup stayed all day and night despite the humidity.

Nella and her team are amazing and above and beyond!!! We had our friends wedding on a hot August day and our make up and hair stayed in place from am to pm. They are very coordinated, professional, talented and fun! We had a blast being in the studio. My daughter was the flower girl and they were so gentle and sweet, she had the greatest time with them! I had my hair and make up done by nella and the team for my best friends wedding. There isn't anything bad I can say about the expierance. Staff was friendly I felt like they were part of our group of friends which now I can say they sure are. Hair and make up lasted us all day and night threw the hot august day. I would reccomand them to everyone and I have been. If I ever get married these are the ladies I'm deff going too.

Nella is the Best of the Best! I have recommended various people to her knowing they will not be disappointed. I put my 100% trust in her work and she delivers every single time. Last year for my wedding, every detail was thought of from the hotel recommendations, itinerary for the bridesmaids, order of who would go first, the perfect poses for the pictures and a cute lipgloss to apply throughout the day. Nella is the best you can find! I found her in Villa Russo's preferred vendors list and i decided to check her work out. After looking i was intrigued and set up an appointment with her. She worked wonders with my hair. I knew i wanted her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. So i did it. Nella gave me a timeline and was right on time. She did my mother, moh, flowergirl and myself. She made us all feel beautiful and flawless. She's very patient. My mother was very picky with her hair and Nella was calm patient and understanding.I received compliments all night and even after the event. Nella is not only great at her work, she is the sweetest person ever, she treats you as a friend and makes you feel comfortable which is important. I was nervous the day of but she came and put music on which completely set the mood up and started feeling ok. She stayed a bit to help me with my dressing and direct the photographers. Nella's timeline was flawless, there was plenty of time to do the hair and make up of me (the bride), my three bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law. Everyone looked fantastic and beautiful, and importantly achieved the look they wanted. Nella also spent special time with me one-on-one, making sure that my hair and makeup were perfect, and also that I remained as calm as possible! She also ended up helping my bridesmaids get me into my dress, as they struggled with the corset-- I'm so glad she was there! I should also add that Nella is very good at listening. I told her things about my face/makeup at my trial, and she addressed every single concern I brought up. I really can't say enough good things about Get Nellafyd. What could I say, the girl practically saved my life. Upon arrival she saw I looked like a complete zombie from being up the night before my wedding! She sent me directly back into bed and her assistant came in to give me a facial and relax me with some calm music and soothing candles. Her team is no joke! They set up quickly and seamlessly transformed me and my sister into dolls. Not only that but she went above and beyond at the church handing out flowers to my groomsmen since my florist had screwed up. Nella touched me and my hubby up outside the church in the limo and met us over at the venue. From morning until night she was by my side to make me look perfect. She even created a different night time look for me for my reception. What more could I say, Nella is the best !

Nella is amazing! My sister hired Nella to do hair and makeup for my her wedding and all of us were beyond thrilled. She knew exactly how to style everyone and it was so much fun having her there! I hired Nella for my hair and makeup for my wedding this past September and couldn't be happier with my decision. First, Nella is so sweet and made my mom and I feel so comfortable at my trial several months earlier. When I started the process looking for someone to do BOTH hair and makeup for my wedding it was clear not everyone can do both well. Nella was recommended to me by one of my friends and I am glad she was. The moment I sat in her chair for my trail I automatically felt very comfortable. She makes you feel as though you are doing hair and makeup with your friends. The hair as well as the makeup on the trail day came out EXACTLY how I wanted it to come out. I had no doubt my wedding day would be perfect! I am a very time conscious person in my day to day life so when it came to the wedding day I needed everything to be perfectly timed. Nella provided me with a detailed timeline down to the minute for my girls and I. She arrived exactly the time she said she would arrive with her assistant not too far behind her, leaving herself enough time to set up everything. Nella sets the mood perfectly with some great music making each and every person feel at ease during a hectic time. Naturally I have high anxiety but sitting in Nellas chair seemed to put that on the back burner which is exactly what I, and I think every bride needs. I also appreciated Nella's patience even when my photographers were being a bit pushy. At the end of the morning right before it was time to leave not only did Nella gift me with a lipstick to touch up during the day, but she also waited around until I was on the bus to make sure she could do any touch ups if needed. I thought that was a great personal touch. My makeup and hair lasted through the whole day which is to say a lot with my oily skin and sweating from the very hot day! Over all Nella is an amazing professional I would recommend to any bride-to-be.

OMG...Where do I begin? I reached out to Nella very late in the game, about a month before my wedding. She was absolutely amazing! From our first conversation I knew she was the real deal and I had made the right choice! I decided to use Nella for hair and makeup for myself (the bride), my MOH, 4 bridesmaid, 2 mothers, flower girl, and ring bearer. BEST CHOICE I EVER MADE! Nella showed up at the hotel at 6:30am, set up was complete by 7am, and the first girl was already in the chair. And by set-up I mean, set-up. She brought her make-up chairs, lighting, and all her products (which is all top quality stuff). She also brought her secret weapon Tatiana, who is her assistant and does makeup. OMG, I cannot stop talking about the level of professionalism this dynamic duo comes with. On time, prepared, with enough hands and resources. Not only are they great professionals, but they are just amazing, beautiful people in and out. The morning of the wedding, I realized I had forgotten to purchase the veil I had selected. As I was freaking out, Tatiana was already on her phone googling the nearest David's Bridal and making plans around how we were going to get the veil. Two of my bridesmaids, who were already done with makeup and hair went to pick up the veil for me, while Tatiana and Nella guided them on what best to get to match my look. They helped us every step of the way. Even offered advice, and had so much posiitve energy to share. Truly wonderful experience. The bridal party has such a great time throughout the process that we asked them to stay behind and party with us a bit. Honestly, it felt like they were the 6th and 7th bridesmaid the group was missing. That's how much fun it was. At the end of it all, we all felt relaxed, stress free, and like super stars. Seriously! Nella and Tatiana made my wedding day a complete joy, and helped in every way make it a success. You will not go wrong going with them and I wish them all the best!!! I will certainly be tapping back into them for special events and much needed makeovers :) Love you girls!!!

Lucky for me I found Nella on-line. I was a bride looking for last minute hair and make up for 10 bridesmaids and myself (the bride)Lucky for me Nella (who is in quite the high demand) had a cencellation and was able to take me and my whole crew on. From the moment I sat down in the chair for my trial I knew Nella and I were going to get on quite well. Not only was she a beaming personality who quickly put me at ease with her compliments, she listened exactly to what I wanted and made her honest suggestions (the girl knows what she is talking about) On my big day Nella showed up early, and was incredibly professional. She had to deal with a house full of relatives and 10 bridesmaids and I could not have asked for more. Lucky me, I got most of Nella's time and attention. While she was beautifying me, she was calming me, talking to me, giving me compliments. She was just what I needed in all the craziness that was around us. All of this is before I even saw the finished result. I was beautiful! My make up was done so perfectly. ( I don't wear a lot of make up and was worried I was going to look like myself) boy was I wrong. I really felt she highlighted my beauty and gave me the exact look that we were going for. My hair was stunning....again exactly what I asked for. I wanted two different looks, one for ceremony one for reception. For ceremony it was a loose low elegant due, then Nella even taught us how to change my hair for the reception look i was going for. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. With Nella you don't get just hair and make up. You get an entire experience from an wonderful person who truly makes you feel perfect and special. I would and do recommend her to everybody.
