After paying off my dad's funeral, my finances took a hit, so I had to browse through Groupon and took a chance when I came across an offer made at Lucy's salon, where I was able to reach out to her to make an appointment and she was able to respond efficiently. She gave me a reminder/confirmation email the day before and warmly greeted me and my mom when we came to visit her. Getting serviced by Lucy felt like catching up with a friend. I loved her kind and relatable vibe! I took my mom with me since she had nothing else better to do at home and she needed to help me get my wedding dress on. Honestly, huge kudos to Lucy to power through my overbearing mom who constantly hovered and made loud distractions talking on the phone. Also, my mom originally told me she didn't want to do her hair and makeup, other than putting lashes on. However, after looking at the work Lucy did on me made her want to get some touch ups that Lucy was kind enough to be able to do a little bit after finishing up doing my makeup efficiently and flawlessly. Afterwards, my mom, fiance, and I went to wait in line to take a picture with the famous Vegas sign, initially, I was so worried things would be ruined after 30min of waiting through the cold weather and heavy wind, but the beautiful hair and makeup still stayed intact at the end of the night that i almost didn't want to take anything off, because her work was so beautiful like art. Honestly I wish I was able to afford paying Lucy more, because I think she deserves it a thousand percent to help me make me feel so beautiful and special on my big day today that was initially supposed to be a funny, chill, casual elopement wedding that turned out to actually be a bigger event than expected (in which looking good with the hair and makeup helped played a great part in!) I am so grateful to have come across Lucy since I just kinda hoped for the best from the get go and put all my eggs in 1 basket on her without doing any hair and makeup trial. I'm glad I trusted my gut and I so appreciate that she was able to make time for me during lunch hour even though she had been up since early in the morning and made time for me and my mom. She is truly the best! I highly recommend her if y'all are looking for the best hair stylist and make up artist in Vegas! She is located in room 106 in the Beauty Compound building. There's lots of parking in the plaza.
