On top of everything, our guests are STILL talking about how much they enjoyed the food! All of GetPlated's staff including Jessica our coordinator and every single server were professional and a joy to work with. Highly recommend GetPlated if you want delicious food and drinks!

with. Our original venue had just cancelled our contract, sending us into crisis mode. Alex was calm, supportive, and organized; available for every concern, large or small. Her professionalism and warm support helped us to relax and focus on the joy of the upcoming wedding. We were thrilled with the food; our guests were enthusiastic in their comments. The site was staged beautifully and the service was impeccable. We could not have been more pleased.

tpone our wedding 3 times, we had gone through the entire list of DC area caterers. From the moment we arrived to our tasting, we knew that there was no one like Alex and her team at GetPlated. First of all, the tasting itself was like one of the best dates my fiance and I have ever been on! I HIGHLY recommend doing the tasting. Second, the food looks as beautiful as it is delicious! And third, I had family and guests with all sorts of strange dietary restrictions and even at the tasting GetPlated was able to adjust everything and still ensure it was the best meal everyone ever had! During the wedding planning we had so many pivots due to government mandates around covid and the forecasted weather for rain! It almost got down to changing our wedding from 50 to 10 people and even though it would affect their business the most, Alex was compassionate, empathetic and encouraging and willing to help us have the wedding of our dreams. During the wedding day, they made a specialty non alcoholic drink in honor of our daughter who really felt so special! The staff made sure to follow the wedding party around during photos to make sure everyone was able to EAT! (So many brides and grooms never really get to eat on their own day!) By the way, my favorites were the hot chicken biscuits, the doughnuts and milkshakes, the tuna cones, the sea bass, the drinks... everything!!!! Get to know their startup story and you'll fall in love with them even more. Getting to work with GetPlated was the best decision we made for our wedding and I cannot wait for the next chance to cater ANYTHING so that we can have their food and interact with their incredible team. Weddings and gatherings now are even more precious than ever and food is something that will truly bring people together and give them a warm hug from the inside out. This will be a gift you can share with your most loved ones!

de for us was amazing. There are a few take-aways that stick out in my mind a few months later. We changed our passed hors d'oeuvres to stations to be more covid friendly, and the few that I had were cold. The plated courses came out in a different order than what we were told to print on our paper menus. The cocktail shrimp from the raw bar tasted fishy, and my salmon entree was dry. Soup and salad was great. Service was friendly and accomodating.

There were some communication issues with regards to a dietary restriction for me, and that's why it isn't a 5 star review. That kind of communication laps created stress on the day. The dietary restriction is medically necessary, and having to be afraid I ate something I shouldn't have was really upsetting. Thankfully, I didn't! Alex had made sure nothing on our menu contained food I couldn't eat, but that was not something the actual servers knew. A small oversight, but one that was really significant to me. Overall though, a good catering company.

We got so many compliments on the food, so many, many kudos to the chef! And Alex made things so smooth for us before the event itself, and at the event with her calming presence, excellent last-minute floral arranging, and maintaining a good pace for the event. Again, can't say enough good things about them and if you're looking for a caterer, I would 100%, without reservation, recommend GetPlated.

cellent service! Signature cocktails we're delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day! The passed appetizers during cocktail hour were a hit. The guests raved about the mac&cheese bar. The food was incredible! Super tasty and delicious. Overall, I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking for a wedding caterer. They contributed to everyone having an amazing time at the wedding!
