Food was very important for our wedding. From the beginning, GetPlated understood our vision. From the initial menu to the tasting to the actual wedding, GetPlated was flexible in adjusting our menu and accommodating dietary restrictions (guests LOVED the vegan option). When I mentioned wanting a tres leches cake, they mentioned tres leches shooters to our dessert table and wow they were a hit! On top of everything, our guests are STILL talking about how much they enjoyed the food! All of GetPlated's staff including Jessica our coordinator and every single server were professional and a joy to work with. Highly recommend GetPlated if you want delicious food and drinks!

We had a wonderful experience working with GetPlated for our 120-person wedding! Everything from the tasting to the planning process to the wedding itself was seamless and professional. Our event coordinator, Jessica, handled many requests throughout the process and up until the final week - which included dietary restrictions and last minute cancellations. Our guests raved about the delicious food and the servers were professional and speedy. Most importantly, our guests were full and satisfied! We cannot recommend GetPlated enough - one of the best decisions we made when it came to our wedding!

GetPlated were the rockstars of our wedding. The food was amazing and their staff were just wonderful. Even in the planning process, our event manager was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend them more!

Tasty food, excellent service and great prices. We loved that Get Plated offered packages for small weddings. We had an intimate 8 person wedding on June 19, 2021. We wanted to at least have a 3 course dinner for our family. Get Plated provided just that! There was so much to choose from and everything looked and tasted delicious. Service was exceptional and the selections for table linens and decor was great too. We are so happy we choose Get Plated. We can't wait to have another event to hire them again.

From my first contact with Alexandra at GetPlatedDC, until the last bite of late night snack was consumed at my daughter’s wedding, Alexandra and Get Plated were wonderful to deal with. Our original venue had just cancelled our contract, sending us into crisis mode. Alex was calm, supportive, and organized; available for every concern, large or small. Her professionalism and warm support helped us to relax and focus on the joy of the upcoming wedding. We were thrilled with the food; our guests were enthusiastic in their comments. The site was staged beautifully and the service was impeccable. We could not have been more pleased.

For our May micro wedding, Get Plated did an awesome job catering to a small group with many allergies and food aversions. They also baked some delicious bread for our special bread-breaking ritual (part of our wedding ceremony) at our last minute request. Wonderful to work with and delicious food—their filet mignon and sea bass were 5 star quality!

My wife and I recently used GetPlated's services for our April micro-wedding. The food was very well-received by our guests and we really enjoyed it ourselves. Standout items were the crab cakes, brisket bites, filet mignon and our signature peach/bourbon cocktail. The wait staff was excellent, very attentive, speedy, and always wearing a smile. Highly recommended.

Every single one of our guests raved about how amazing the food was and how ahhhhmazing the staff were! I felt like they were all friends attending the wedding! After having to postpone our wedding 3 times, we had gone through the entire list of DC area caterers. From the moment we arrived to our tasting, we knew that there was no one like Alex and her team at GetPlated. First of all, the tasting itself was like one of the best dates my fiance and I have ever been on! I HIGHLY recommend doing the tasting. Second, the food looks as beautiful as it is delicious! And third, I had family and guests with all sorts of strange dietary restrictions and even at the tasting GetPlated was able to adjust everything and still ensure it was the best meal everyone ever had! During the wedding planning we had so many pivots due to government mandates around covid and the forecasted weather for rain! It almost got down to changing our wedding from 50 to 10 people and even though it would affect their business the most, Alex was compassionate, empathetic and encouraging and willing to help us have the wedding of our dreams. During the wedding day, they made a specialty non alcoholic drink in honor of our daughter who really felt so special! The staff made sure to follow the wedding party around during photos to make sure everyone was able to EAT! (So many brides and grooms never really get to eat on their own day!) By the way, my favorites were the hot chicken biscuits, the doughnuts and milkshakes, the tuna cones, the sea bass, the drinks... everything!!!! Get to know their startup story and you'll fall in love with them even more. Getting to work with GetPlated was the best decision we made for our wedding and I cannot wait for the next chance to cater ANYTHING so that we can have their food and interact with their incredible team. Weddings and gatherings now are even more precious than ever and food is something that will truly bring people together and give them a warm hug from the inside out. This will be a gift you can share with your most loved ones!

Alex was great to work with and made us feel very taken care of throughout the planning process. Due to the pandemic, we cut our guest list from 160 to 20. The menu Get Plated made for us was amazing. There are a few take-aways that stick out in my mind a few months later. We changed our passed hors d'oeuvres to stations to be more covid friendly, and the few that I had were cold. The plated courses came out in a different order than what we were told to print on our paper menus. The cocktail shrimp from the raw bar tasted fishy, and my salmon entree was dry. Soup and salad was great. Service was friendly and accomodating.

We hired GetPlated for our micro wedding in September once our original plans changed. Our guest were really impressed by the safety measures and food.

Amazing presentation and delicious cocktails, starters, and entrees!! We had shrimp and grits and French toast for brunch. My guests loved the food and talked about it even after the wedding. Many different appetizers and course options to pick from. Really one of the highlights of my wedding. (The cocktails especially were so pretty with little flower garnishes on top). Thank you so much!!

Get Plated Catering are top-notch professionals. They were a breath of fresh air from beginning to end. We made several changes throughout the process and they were more than accommodating. I absolutely loved every aspect of the service provided by GetPlated Catering! Alex was very personable, professional, and accommodating. All of my guests kept gushing about how good the food was! The selection of menus and entrees/appetizers were superb - everything I tasted was delicious and unique! Keyon, Alex, and their staff made sure that my big day went off without a hitch! From the tasting to the day of my wedding, Alex answered all of my questions and went above and beyond my expectations! I will always recommend GetPlated Catering to all of my friends and colleagues!

Get Plated Catering provided our wedding guests with an amazing meal. The food was seasoned perfectly and the customer service was stunning. Their reasonably priced menu has a great variety with plenty of options to choose from. If you want food that is tasty and not bland, then choose Get Plated Catering for sure!!! This was one of the best decisions that my husband and I made for our special day!

Keyon and Alex were extremely helpful. Their professionalism was paramount. The menu selection was great and the suggestions that were made really catered to our style and theme. The food was hot and delicious and the service was impeccable. My husband and I were afforded the opportunity to meet and personally thank the awesome staff of GetPlated.

We used GetPlated for our wedding in September. Overall, I really enjoyed working with Alex and the GetPlated team. Alex was great to talk to, more than willing to help, and understood what we were going for. The food was good, and definitely reasonably priced. There were some communication issues with regards to a dietary restriction for me, and that's why it isn't a 5 star review. That kind of communication laps created stress on the day. The dietary restriction is medically necessary, and having to be afraid I ate something I shouldn't have was really upsetting. Thankfully, I didn't! Alex had made sure nothing on our menu contained food I couldn't eat, but that was not something the actual servers knew. A small oversight, but one that was really significant to me. Overall though, a good catering company.

The food was the most talked about thing at our wedding.

Words can not express how amazing they are. From beginning to end, everything was spectacular. My family is still talking about the food. AMAZING! They even customized the menu to fit my "Middle-Earth, Lord of the Rings" themed wedding. And they are great to work with, very responsive. You couldn't ask for a better caterer. If you hire them, you are guaranteed to have a great experience. Alex is a doll!

I can't say enough good things about GetPlated. From the beginning, Alex and Keyon were willing to work with both our budget and our mixed menu. We both come from very different cultural backgrounds and they were able to come up with an awesome menu that reflected that. Of course, it's important to note is that Keyon's cooking is amazing! We got so many compliments on the food, so many, many kudos to the chef! And Alex made things so smooth for us before the event itself, and at the event with her calming presence, excellent last-minute floral arranging, and maintaining a good pace for the event. Again, can't say enough good things about them and if you're looking for a caterer, I would 100%, without reservation, recommend GetPlated.

The overall professionalism of team “Get Plated” was Ahhh—Mazing”! We were blown away with the overall satisfaction. From the initial conversations to the tasting and the final presentations seemless and easy. Our wedding day was without worry. Their service was warm and personable. GetPlated was phenomenal! They were super happy to listen to what we were both looking for as far as food and drinks go, and they did a fantastic job bringing our dreams to life. They made a fabulous custom menu to fit our lavender theme, including a delicious signature drink, and my new husband and I could not be more thankful we had such a hardworking and amazing catering team. GetPlated did an absolutely incredible job catering our wedding (June 29, 2018). They were very open and communicative during the planning process. And on the day-of, they had excellent service! Signature cocktails we're delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day! The passed appetizers during cocktail hour were a hit. The guests raved about the mac&cheese bar. The food was incredible! Super tasty and delicious. Overall, I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking for a wedding caterer. They contributed to everyone having an amazing time at the wedding!

We used GetPlated for our wedding and they did a fabulous job for the whole event. The food was amazing!!! It was so easy getting in touch with Alexandria - - Emails were responded to within just a few hours. She was very calming during the entire wedding process and was such a positive person to work with. At the wedding the appetizers were very creative and had great food presentation. The staff was polite and smiling the entire wedding. The dinner was awesome! We are so happy with how our wedding turned out thanks to GetPlated catering!

They have been absolutely amazing with planning the menu and working in our ideas and suggestions. The food is amazing and they are awesome to work with. I would highly recommend!!
