Favorite bakery ever! It was a blessing having them be part of my wedding. 100% recommended.
These ladies were so awesome. Quick response time and double checked everything before baking the cake and cupcakes, which were absolutely delicious by the way!

ouldn't stop eating our wedding cake. I don't think I could ever purchase a cake from anywhere else. Her chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream and salted caramel filling is too die for.
Courtney at GhilaDolci is kind, creative, fun, and so easy to work with! Our wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. The guests raved about it and couldn’t get enough!
I have been privileged to taste Courtney's goodies from my days of working at Cafe Smitten and I'm so excited she has her own store front now. I had first tasted what would be my w...
edding cake when she made it as a birthday cake for someone else. When I got engaged, I knew I had to have Courtney make my cake and THAT cake (Chocolate cake with caramel ribbons and peanut butter frosting.) It was the longest 2 year engagement ever waiting for that cake! But it was well worth the wait. So many of our guests came up and told us it was the best cake they've ever had! And I would agree. It was beautiful as and tasty. Not only that, but she came in, delivered quietly, and it was just there waiting for me when it was time for our reception. She didn't bother me (although she wouldn't have been a bother) with details while I was trying to get ready or anything, which helped minimize my stress on our wedding day. We also dont have to save our cake topper for our year anniversary (because let's be honest, that's kind of gross, even if it is tradition) because she includes a small anniversary cake in her price. I am so glad we had Courtney make our cake and that we can go get her goodies whenever we want!

t was absolutely beautiful and exactly as my daughter had asked for. We did two flavors , white cake with raspberry filling and chocolate cake with cookies and creams filling. Both flavors were raved about equally. In addition, we also had a dessert bar and Ghila Dolci provided mini chocolate chip toffee sea salt cookies as well as mini snickerdoodle cookies! Both were gone before I actually had a chance to get to the dessert bar! She was very professional and easy to work with and truly listened to what my daughter and her fiancé wanted and delivered it to perfection!

ding cake. She was very friendly at that first meeting and we could tell that she was capable of creating the perfect cake that combined both of the designs we liked. After that meeting, she handed us the BEST tasting cupcakes we had had out of all of the various vendors we tried around Bakersfield. One bite of those cupcakes was all it took for us to choose Courtney to make our wedding cake. Her cakes are moist, flavorful, and an exact match of what we envisioned. Her beautiful cake was complimented all night at our wedding and we couldn't be happier to see and taste GhilaDolci Bakery's amazing cakes. I would recommend GhilaDolci to anybody looking for the best cake in Bakersfield. I can't wait until we get our one year anniversary cake from her.
