Gianna Conci Photography is a wedding photographer based in Charlotte, NC, with over a decade of experience capturing your most precious moments.
I take great pride in the work ethic I bring to each photoshoot, no matter the size. Every event tells a story, and it is important to me to capture all the moments in yours. I pride myself on being able to make even the most photo-shy couples come alive for the camera!
Recent West Coast transplants, when I’m not shooting, you will more than likely find me discovering the best new restaurants and hidden gems in my new home state with my husband, reading, and enjoying time through it all with our crazy dogs, Bentley and Desmo. My husband and I also travel near and far: local weekend getaways, long weekend trips to other US cities, and multi-city and multi-country international trips, all with a camera in my hand.

Gianna is an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I worked with Gianna for our engagement photos, church wedding, and larger wedding and she made us feel not just comfortable being in front of the camera, but she was also extremely supportive and fun to work with throughout the entire process. Her work is amazing, and we would highly recommend her to anyone in search of a photographer!

Gianna did a wonderful job capturing us authentically on our wedding day. She used her time efficiently, helped us stay on schedule, and guided us well on how to pose. We also greatly appreciated the advice she gave us early in the wedding planning process on how to allow enough time for the photos we wanted. Our wedding was in April and we're still admiring these photos!

I really can't say enough good things about Gianna! From the day we met with her, to the engagement photos to the over the top photos of our wedding day, she is very creative , thorough and has such a fun personality and was a joy to work with! All of her pictures were amazing and the way she works with her subjects, all the photos were not "posed" and were very natural looking. Quality of her photos I'd definitely say over the top. She captured all the moments we wanted and then some! Thank you, Gianna for a most beautiful job! Highly highly highly recommend her!!

I'm so grateful for Gianna! I really appreciated her honesty with what I needed and didn't need. She understood exactly what I was looking for and what I wanted out of my photos. On the day of the wedding, I trusted her completely! So did our wedding party. When she asked us who wanted to climb for this AMAZING and epic shot she had in mind, everyone agreed and it was so worth it! The photos turned out with this lovely bright light to them--she has a great eye for that. The detail photos she took were worthy of a magazine. Even though our "golden hour" turned out to be foggy (thanks San Francisco), I'm so glad we took those special shots of just us--some of my absolutely favorites are from that shoot. Could not recommend her more! Thank you Gianna!

Gianna was wonderful photographer! She was very efficient and provided great feedback/tips to ensure everyone looked their best. She has a wonderful eye for detail and arranged the group photos so that they were posed beautifully. The day of photos of the ceremony and reception captured the happy mood and fun of the day. Highly recommend using Gianna for your events!

Gianna photographed our wedding ceremony and reception on late notice, and she was absolutely wonderful. She has the ability to take beautiful ceremony photographs while remaining discrete so the guests can focus entirely on the ceremony, which is a significant advantage she has over other photographers. Just after the ceremony, she took inventive and fun photos outdoors that are among our favorites. At the reception, she captured those spontaneous moments that cannot be reproduced. We highly recommend Gianna and look forward to hiring her for a future event.

Gianna is AMAZING!
Personally, I feel pretty awkward in front of a camera- certainly no professional model here- but Gianna made me feel so at ease, she guided me (and my hubby!) to poses that made us feel so confident.
We had a very small ceremony and had many of our guests attend via a zoom call. Gianna was such a pro in guiding us with socially-distant-group-photos and shots with my family who were on the zoom call.
From initially booking our event with her through the commencement of the event, every interaction with Gianna was professional, considerate, thoughtful, and absolutely a pleasure! I can't wait to have another event with her!

I was a few weeks away from my wedding date and all of the sudden I found myself needing a new photographer. Luckily I found Gianna and she was available on our wedding date. We quickly set up a phone appointment and she called exactly when she said she would.I knew she was great from the moment we spoke. I felt so at ease and excited for her to do my wedding photos after our call. On my wedding day I could not have been more impressed with her. She felt more like a best friend wanting me to feel and look good on my wedding day. Her personal touch just added the cherry on top . Gianna is very talented, understanding, organized, and easy to get along with. Anyone needing a photographer should have Gianna on speed dial. Thank you Gianna!!!!

Gianna did a fantastic job photographing our outdoor wedding, despite the full sun! I found Gianna through Thumbtack; she was incredibly prompt and thorough on the phone, answered all of my questions and gave us a very fair price. We were on a tight budget, so we hired her for the ceremony only. Given this, I wasn't sure what to expect on the day of, but she made us feel completely at ease. I normally don't like how I look in photographs, but feel incredibly beautiful in these and my husband looks so handsome. She gave us great direction. She also captured fantastic candid moments during the ceremony, but wasn't intrusive. To top it off, she was completely in charge when it came time for the group photos. Everyone was very distracted and difficult to herd, but she managed to get everyone to cooperate. Her work speaks for itself and I couldn't be happier with the wedding photos!
