nd Nikki showed up promptly and made me and all my bridesmaids look amazing. They were seriously the sweetest and most patient makeup artists. I was super nervous about too much makeup and it not looking natural but Gianna listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I loved how it looked. I cannot say enough about how amazing my eye makeup and lashes came out! Gianna was able to do my wedding makeup so that it looked dramatic, but also at the same time not overdoing it! s my only regret. They changed the agreed upon contract 3 weeks before my wedding because of mistakes on their end and did not honor the original contract.
There was extremely poor communication throughout the whole process. I had to follow up on emails multiple times. Also, the contract said my trial hair and makeup was going to be with Gianna but that was not the case when it came time for the appointment. Stay away and find a hair and makeup company that is honest and easy to work with.

ontracts that pricing is subject to change and just as much as a travel fee can increase by $25 it can also decrease by $25. I do give all of my clients my personal cell phone number as I also gave it to you ,because communication is so important to me and I want my clients to feel like they can reach out to me anytime day or night with any questions! :) The stylists said you were thrilled with your hair and makeup and I was so very happy to hear that ! 13 ladies (2 moms and 10 bridesmaids +bride) that needed their hair and makeup. I was nervous that with so many girls, we wouldn't be able to get done in the time that I needed everyone to get ready. But they did it! These ladies know how to keep on schedule. I would highly recommend Gianna herself as the artist for the bride- she completely nailed the look that I was going for and my makeup was perfect the entire night! The ladies that did makeup were also so friendly and kind with my bridesmaids. As for hair, the ladies were able to make all of my bridesmaids dreams come true. If your bridesmaids are looking for simple and elegant looks- this team is perfect. If you are looking for extravagant/ retro styles like I wanted for myself, I would encourage a trial for yourself and go from there. Would recommend it for large groups of girls for sure. Price point was also very reasonable.

The reason I couldn't give this review 5 stars is because of the small details. As an anxious bride, who didn't have a planner, it was tough on my nerves to not have things go according to this company's own contract.
1. I was told that the person that did my make up on the trial date would be the person who would be taking care of me on my wedding date. That was not the case and I was actually never informed. On the morning of my wedding I met Jan, the lovely make up artist who tried her best to recreate the look I wanted off of a picture I had (and was not provided to her beforehand) and no list of products to reference. Needless to say she went above and beyond.
2. Since I went for my trial within 3 months of wedding date I was expecting to sign a contract on the spot/within 24hours of the trial since that's what was emailed to me. I was told I'd get it emailed to me that night/next day and I didn't until almost a week later when I texted Gianna that I had yet to receive an email. I was nervous that my wedding date would be taken before I got a chance to sign my contract. Once I got that done, I expected the rest to go smoothly. However, I was not getting charged on the dates I was supposed to which was throwing off my calculations on my wedding budget.
Overall, I would just recommend them but just make sure that you're not surprised by a mystery make up artist and reconfirm who will be working with you on your big day (even though Jan was AMAZING). I just can't stress enough how surprises are the last thing any bride wants on her wedding day.

ad 8 people in my party (me, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms), and I was so worried about only having one hair stylist and one makeup artist, but these ladies have it down to a science! They worked with me to start at an appropriate time, set a schedule, made everyone look gorgeous, and we even finished up early with time for some touch ups before heading to the ceremony. Everyone's makeup looked natural (especially for all of our different skin tones), and everyone's hair came exactly how they wanted. My bridal party was so happy. They put me at ease, gave me one less thing to worry about on my wedding day, and were great partners to work with.
The team itself did a great job however the planning process was a huge headache. I signed my contract ten months before my event and still had to chase two weeks before for any information regarding start times and submitting payments
So so happy with Gianna and her team! My hair & makeup was perfect, it was everything that I dreamed of for my wedding day!

In addition, I had a last minute request to get my make up done for my shower and Gianna although she had a wedding schedule, she was able to fit me into her schedule last minute. Everyone complimented on my make up and all bridal shower photos looked amazing.
Her team truly knows what they're doing. My only regret for wedding day was not booking them for hair. Again, thanks so much Gianna and Team!

her fabulous reputation. Gianna rearranged her schedule to help me out and saved my wedding day! I showed her photos from my original trial, and she made me look even more beautiful than the photos. She took her time and was very attentive to what I wanted. Considering it was a hot day in July my makeup stayed-put the entire day (10am-12am), and my complexion did not get shiny/oily. She created a lip color mixture for me to use throughout the day for touch-ups too.
Just know when you hire Gianna she is going to be professional, she has your best interests at heart, and she is an absolute miracle worker!

talking with Gianna and then she switches you over to her assistant- which is fine, but some of the questions and answers that I received from Gianna were different from the assistant when I was booking the services. I was also supposed to have Gianna do my makeup for my wedding day and going back to emails it was pretty clear that I wanted to book her, but somehow I ended up with someone else. I only found this out when setting up my trial because I was being set up a date with a different person. No big deal, but it is annoying because this entire time you think you are getting someone and are getting someone different. The day of the trial the people who did my hair and makeup killed it! I was so happy with my hair and makeup service. The day of the wedding...not so much. First, both stylists did a completely different approach of how they did my hair and makeup compared to the day of the trial. I thought the point of a trial is to go through the process so then we all know what is expected on the wedding day. My hair ended up being a lot flatter than the trial day and I even had to ask the stylist to fix it, but it still flopped compared to the day of my trial. In terms of the makeup, the day of my trial airbrush was used practically the entire time, the day of my wedding it was barely used until I said something, I also find out from my girls and mother that the airbrush guns was either barely used or not used at all for their makeup and we all paid for airbrush makeup. I reach out to Gianna to explain I was upset about those things and was told that the makeup artist does a different approach with airbrush makeup and hand applies it. Whatever it may be, I’m sorry but especially for me the way the makeup was applied the day of the trial, should have been the same exact way the day of the wedding. At the end of the day my hair and makeup was nice, but I wasn’t impressed or happy with how it came out. I just wish they would have executed my hair and makeup just like they did the day of the trial. I also understand it is not going to be EXACTLY the same as the trial, but it should have been pretty close and I felt it was very different from the day of the trial. With the overall experience I would not recommend.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Gianna and her team. Gianna nailed my trail makeup and I went into my wedding day with no concerns. I knew I was in the BEST hands.

I should note. My makeup stayed on ALL NIGHT. And there were a lot of happy tears. I am an emotional person! My hair stayed put too. Not once during my wedding was I fussing with my hair or makeup. Hiring Gianna and her team was one of the best decisions I made for my vendor team!

My eyebrows were literally drawn in a single line across my face like a coloring book, no light strokes or attention to detail where brows were sparse and needed filling. Borrowed extensions because I was unsure of making the purchase or if I’d need them so after my hair was done, I took a few pictures then my hair was rummaged through because my stylist thought she put 4 clips in my hair when there was only 3. Hair was a mess after that. They have amazing reviews which I was very excited about but unfortunately things didn’t work out on my end.

You returned the deposit form with your deposit of $85 to hold your wedding date and book the trial.
At the time of your trial we charge the remaining balance, also clearly stated in our Menu of Services . When we were finished with your trial we asked for your credit card. You gave us your American Express. . All of our Bridal Trials are $85 for hair and $85 for makeup .
This is clearly stated in our Menu of Services .
We do not hide any pricing at all .
We actually gave you a discount . Normally our trials are $100 each For each service , ie $200 total . There is no where in our Menu of Services that says the trial is $ 42.50 for hair and $42.50 for makeup .
We have over 15 years specializing in Bridal Hair and Makeup . We receive referrals from several top wedding planners, the best venues in New Jersey, our brides and previous bridesmaids.
Our stylists have been rated the top in their industry and have worked on celebrities, models , fashion week and our beautiful brides . Given our long-standing reputation and high level of artistry, expertise and service , $85 per service for a Bridal Trial is extremely reasonable .
When Michelle and I were finished doing your hair and makeup , you exclaimed several times
that “ you thought the hair and makeup was amazing “ . You said this more than once and again said you were so “ thankful “ to us .
The bride that was also getting services that day Next to you said “ wow that bride looked amazing and she was so happy “ .
We used a model set of hair extensions to show you how your hair would look with more fullness . You said you“ loved them“ . The picture you presented us with of the hairstyle that you wanted we explain to you in order to get that look that you would need more fullness. You were excited to try the hair extensions.
We offered you the option to purchase them after your hair was finished. When you said that you didn’t want the hair extensions at this time we explain to you that once we take them out that your style will not look the same because your hair was styled with them .
We take great pride in our work and our clients , and we take every review personally .
We have resent you the emails with our Menu of Services that we sent to you in March , 2020 . My assistant has reached out to you several times as I did myself . We have sent you emails and text messages .
The credit card charge was not refunded . We spoke to our credit card company and we have provided them with all email correspondence and text message correspondence .
We forwarded to the credit card company the email that we sent to you in March before the trial that again clearly lists all of our services and pricing.
We would be happy to discuss with you our pricing and policy’s again by phone going line by line in our Menu of Services .
Again , I am very confused and saddened by this review . It doesn’t match the facts and circumstances of your trial .

Second, I wanted a more natural makeup look, and my makeup artist not only achieved this look but made sure that I was happy with each step of the makeup application. Third, the hair artist achieved the exact look I was going for and sought feedback throughout the hair-styling process. exible anytime I asked for a change or adjustment. I truly have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and it was all thanks to them.
In addition to my own hair and makeup, I had 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and the mother of the groom getting at least one service done (most of them getting both!). I was worried about time but they were able to get everyone done in under less than the 5 hours I had allotted so we could be ready for pictures and the shuttle. I’d heard stories of other brides using other beauty teams where hair and makeup runs late and looks are rushed (I get it - beauty takes time) or they needed a whole bunch of artists to get through everyone, but they both worked quickly and efficiently (my sister even had her hair redone) and they had all 9 of us ready in time.
The only “issue” I ran into was on the paperwork side having to go back and forth a couple times with the list of services (people did swap so it got a little confusing) and with the schedule.
Throughout the entire process everyone was helpful and positive and really made the everything as easy and beautiful as possible!

andard in the bridal industry. I had several phone conversations that lasted for over 2 hours and when I said I had to tend to other clients ( after 2 hours) you became enraged. I tried my best to ensure you that the artists will be at your wedding whether or not the storm was coming. When you said to me that if we didn't accept payment the day of "you would go nuts on social media" I felt very sad and confused by that and didn't really understand what that meant. Were you going to try to slander my business? We were simply honoring the contract for the company. As I said we could not change our contract policy's for just one bride. It would not be fair to all of our other clients who were paying their 50% remaining balance one month before wedding day.
We are very happy that you and your family loved your hair and makeup and the storm did not affect your wedding.

We were all getting complimented the whole entire day and night! Even the bridesmaids, who have all been in a ton of weddings, said that this was the best they ever looked for a wedding! The extensions they use are custom made and well worth it!!!! I got so many compliments which who doesn't want! le because you receive a response from someone new every single time. You can NEVER reach them by phone, so do not even bother. The first time I went for a trial, the building was locked and no one answered the phone. LUCKILY, my make up artist, Erin, who I LOVEEEEED, was able to see an email I sent to the company and came running down to let me in. The owner, Gianna, was receptive yet somewhat short in addressing a concern I had with the hair stylist who did my first two trials. Both times, the stylist did not seem to understand what I was looking for. By the third trial, I was quite angry that I was continuing to pay this company $90 per trial when they were the ones who could not figure out what I wanted. I addressed my concerns with Gianna; however, I was still told I had to pay at the end of the day. The owner seems very detached from the process itself and it appears to be more of a money hungry thing than anything for her.
As for my hair stylist (I eventually switched to Kerry) and my make up artist, Erin, GOOD LORD THESE WOMEN!! They were ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL and not to mention, incredibly talented. These women were so professional, kind, understanding, and quick with their work. They were timely, organized, and great to work with. Kerry executed my vision in our first trial and I immediately felt so much better after having 2 terrible trials with a different stylist. Kerry was easy going, receptive to my feedback, and absolutely crushed it on my wedding day with all of my girls' hairstyle requests. Erin was equally as amazing, her makeup work is just simply stunning and she is so great at what she does. I wish these two women worked independently as I would definitely work with them for the rest of my life events!

Except Jojo, who did my hair, was the absolute worst part of my wedding and ruined my day/my pictures. I had 2 trials with her, both of which I wasn't happy with, so partially my fault for continuing to work with her. But, I trusted her and the company when they said she could do any hairstyle I wanted. The picture I showed her is not even remotely what she did on my wedding day, and when I wasn't happy, she was reluctant to fix it and said she had to get to her other job. I will literally never ever get over how horrible she was and my hair was, and please please re think if you booked her for your big day. Otherwise, the makeup was great (even though they changed my makeup artist the week before without telling me). I would recommend Giana for makeup, or Aneeta, both were fantastic. Again, please do not book Jojo for hair.

So what did I pay all that money in advance for...?...hmmm....They showed up an hour late day of but with two makeup artists instead of one so that they would still hit our needed ready time.. just would have been nice if I had known that we were starting at 8 instead of 7 so that I, the bridesmaids and the moms, could have slept a little later too ! Also make sure you get the girls doing your work cell phone numbers to help alleviate some stress..the number for Gianna won't get answered. We had to figure out what to do Day of since no information from my trial was passed on. The girls were awesome and understanding.. I loved my makeup and hair but looking back at the photos I would have changed my hair. This is not at the fault of who did my hair it was beautiful but I would have liked to play around with it for a day on my own to make sure I liked it -aka a hair trial before the wedding...
