Judy is a fun woman to buy a wedding gown from. She has awarm welcoming personality and her shop has lots of options and and great pricing.

I went to 6 different bridal salons before finding my dress at Gianna’s. They have a beautiful selection of dresses for all shapes and sizes. Every person I came into contact with at Gianna’s could not be more lovely. Gianna herself did my fittings to ensure I was happy with my dress. They designed custom straps for my dress which worked beautifully. Highly recommend!!

My sister went to get her wedding dress years ago at the old location of Gianna's so I made an appointment when I got engaged. I was so nervous because Say Yes to the Dress - my favorite show at the time - made me worry I wasn't going to have that "bridal moment". After trying on a few dresses I put one on that Judy had picked for me - my jaw dropped and I felt absolutely gorgeous! They may be small but their selection is wonderful! The seamstress was amazing I could not believe the fit of my dress with all the intriquet lace and beading I was worried - for no reason! Everyone at my wedding made comments on how gorgeous my dress was and I definitely felt it! Everyone at the shop was very kind and accommodating I highly recommend going to Gianna's to look for your wedding dress and hopefully you'll say Yes to the Dress like I did!!

I loved working with all the staff at Gianna’s Bridal! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I went in on my own to look for dresses on a whim back in October. They brought me dresses until I had a few that I liked and made note of them so that I could come back in with my bridesmaids for their advice. They let me take pictures and even held up my phone so that I could video chat with my mom who wouldn’t be able to see the dress in person. I absolutely loved my dress and the alterations process was simple. I ended up purchasing my bridesmaids’ dresses from Gianna’s as well. There was a tiny issue with one of the bridesmaids’ dresses that we didn’t realize until a week before the wedding, but they were able to fix it in time! Everyone looked beautiful on the wedding day! I’d highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

I purchased my wedding gown at Gianna's in April and it's yet to come in, but my overall experience with them has been so wonderful. The shop is small, but the staff knows the inventory inside and out and really listen to what you're looking for and pull dresses for you. I wouldn't have picked the dress I ended up buying myself so I am so glad the woman who helped me had the knowledge to pull it for me! They also had a lot of dresses within my budget ($1,500), didn't pressure me to buy right away and even gave me the designer name and style number. I highly recommend!

Gianna's was the first bridal place I came upon - purely because they had a designer that I saw in a magazine! I have ZERO regrets about working with GIanna's - the service was so personalized - Nancy and Judy are wonderful resources who have years of experience - and, while not a big shop - they helped me find everything I needed: my dress, veil, shoes, etc. I went to another store following before I made my decision and my gut told me I'd be better off with GIanna's. So glad I listened to it!

Gianna's was wonderful every step of the way. They really listened to everything I was looking for and there was no pressure or stress at any point. They always made me feel beautiful! Easy to make appointments and the staff was very friendly!

Beautiful selection of dresses, and the opportunity to try on a lot of different styles. Just a heads-up that it is a very small shop - with 2 dressing rooms. The rows of dresses are very cramped so it's tough to rummage through, and be prepared to be on display for whoever else is in the store at the time. (In case you're someone who prefers a more private set-up.) Krystal was very helpful and patient and I had fun trying on dresses, but unfortunately did not find "the dress" here. Would still say it's a worthwhile stop to include in your gown shopping adventure though!

When you find a great bridal shop - stick with it! We purchased my bridesmaids' dresses, Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom and my grandmother's dress all from Gianna's. My bridesmaids dresses were something I had never seen before and that made the girls and myself want them all the more. Gianna's had a lot of beautiful dresses. There was a mix up with two of the dresses but the staff and Gianna worked quickly to get that taken care of. If you are looking for something different and beautiful - check out Gianna's!

The only bridal shop I found North of Boston that actually has size 14 in stock to try on. Being in my mid 60's this is a much more reasonable size to try on (all the other bridal salons seem to stock size 10). Considering you're paying around $ 600.00 for the dress and everything has to be ordered I think it makes sense to see what you're going to look like in it BEFORE you order it. Gianna's also recommended Rosetta O"Grady in Saugus as an A1 seamstress for the alterations. Rosetta is FABULOUS - I urge anyone in need of a perfect fit to call her. With a tuck here and a tuck there, Rosetta made my gown come alive !! I submit this review as a mother of the groom.

SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! One of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. First off, the bridesmaid's dress took 5 months to come in when I was told it would take no more than 12 weeks. I was told by the assistant that I needed to order a dress two sizes larger than my pant size and I had to order a longer length because of my height. The longer length was also an additional cost. The dress finally came in two weeks before the wedding and I ended up needing to have 9 inches removed from the length, 4.5 inches taken off of the straps, the back taken in, the chest taken in, and the waist taken in. By then the dress was the same size as my pant size and was the normal length (which was what I had wanted to order from the beginning but I was told that would not work). I had to spend a few hundred dollars in alterations which cost me more than the dress itself. When I called and asked for a refund or discount of some kind the owner was extremely rude, kept making excuses instead of apologizing for the poor service, was very condescending and even had the gall to tell me I don't know my own pant size, and kept interrupting me everytime I tried to speak. I will not be bringing my business back and strongly encourage others to reconsider bringing business here, as well. What a horrible experience.

Gianna's was great throughout my wedding planning. Gianna is such a sweetheart. They were really patient with me, I must have tried on 25 dresses there in the months leading up to picking my dress! I'm terribly indecisive, and they were so helpful with both my dress and the bridesmaids dresses. Thank you all!! Samantha Marone

I went To a few different bridal shops and left empty handed. It seems no one could grasp what I was envisioning for myself. I came across Gianna's and she immediately said oh I know exactly what would look stunning on you! I tried maybe 5-10 dresses on and narrowed it down to three and then one. But I loved them all! And the one I picked took my breathe away. It came or glorious in photos and I just felt amazing in it. The alterations were fabulous as well. And it fit like a glove. Gianna made sure everything was exact before she let me take it home the week of the wedding. High recommend.

I looked at several places for my bridesmaids dresses. Gianna's was the best value I found. I wanted two different style dresses and Gianna herself worked with me to find two styles. She could have easily let me order from different companies but told me that the color can be different due to the fabric with different companies. I wanted dresses with lace on them, and she helped me search the shop high and low and discussed alteration options for another dress that would work best so the two would match. My girls all looked wonderful on the wedding day thanks to Gianna and her staff!

I ordered my wedding dress from Gianna's. I had initially tried it on in a different store in CT since Gianna's sold the brand but did not have that particular dress in stock for me to try on. The first couple of times I went in to try it on, I did not have to wait at all but when I came in for my alterations, even though I had an appointment, I waited for nearly a half hour for a dressing room to open up. Aside from that I don't have any complaints. The women that work there are all very pleasant. Additionally, the alterations were done very well and my bustle held the whole night!

I visited Gianna's several times during my bridal gown search. I couldn't help but go back because they were so concerned about their customer's and really made me feel at ease during the shopping. I first dealt with Rosalee, who I absolutely adore. She is the reason I purchased my dress here. She treated me so well, and really listened to everything I had to say. I ended up finding a dress that Gianna's didn't have in store, but they ordered for me and gave me my dream dress. I also ordered my bridesmaids dresses here, which were absolutely stunning. Gianna did a wonderful job with my alterations and were at a reasonable cost. Bridesmaids dresses were a little difficult to alter, and we had a couple issues with them, but overall Gianna's Bridal was amazing!

Everyone at Gianna's was great to work with. They showed us only dresses that were in our budget which is not something we experienced with other bridal boutiques. I found the perfect dress and Gianna and her seamstress did a beautiful job with alterations. I was even able to rent a cape there for the wedding day.

My dress was by designer Sophia Tollie and on her website they provided vendors for her dresses. Out of all the shops I called between Mass, NH and RI, Gianna's boutique was the best. They offered a discount as well as great advice from the associates who were very friendly. Other stores were charging almost double the actually price of the dress. I'm happy researched and found Gianna's!!!

After looking at a few other places, this is where I found my dress. Pros- given one on one attention and can try on as many dresses as you want as long as tere are no other customers there at the same time. They have bridal dresses, mother of the bride dresses, party dresses, vails, hair clips etc. Cons- super small and tight. The dresses were so squished it was hard to see them all. I also don't think I was fitted well enough and could have had the next dress size down. Finally, after reading bad reviews about the tailoring done here, I found someplace else to go, but it would have been more convenient to have it done here.

I found my perfect dress at Gianna's and got a great deal on it - Gianna worked with me to get it in my price range. The staff is super, super friendly and sweet. The seamstress did a perfect job on my hemming and minimal alterations. The only negative about this place is that they aren't great at responding promptly to voicemails or website emails. Everything else about them from their service (I never, ever felt unwelcome or rushed) to their products and pricing are fantastic!

Gianna’s Bridal Shop should definitely be on your list. It was the first shop I went to and the one I returned to. It was an independent shop with women who have been in the field for over 30 years and really show their love for the field and are genuinely interested in helping pick out your dress feel like a special experience. I had Rosalie. I had told her my price range and she listened and only showed me dresses in my range which I appreciated so I did not fall in love with a dress out of my budget. She had great suggestions based on my personality and body type of what dresses I should try. Even though the store appears small compared to some chains there were still so many choices. Afterwards we narrowed it down to two dresses and she wrote them down in case we came back. Since it was my first store we wanted to see more and ended up at a big chain store, David’s Bridal and had a horrible experience there, every part of being there felt like just being a number, not a customer. We ended up going to Gianna’s outlet store and having a great experience there too. At the end we ended up with one of my original dresses from Gianna’s. My mom liked the ladies so much she also ended up searching for a dress there and found one she loved. Their seamstress is good but a bit curt. She also forgot to do one part so I had to come back an additional time. But I would definitely buy a dress there and use Rosaline or the owner Gianna, both are delightful and helpful.

I loved the headband I bought at Gianna's for my wedding. I was running low on time and they sold it to me right off the shelf. I also searched for a wedding dress here and wish I had actually purchased a dress from them. Stella was fantastic! I went to Alfred Angelo and the service was just terrible.

Absolutely loved the bridesmaid dresses we selected. However, the place is too small and service is poor. They can be pretty rude. Wish we went elsewhere.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Gianna's Bridal Boutique. I came here after going to one VERY large store and one VERY snobby store. Rosalie is the sweetest woman you have ever met. She is a sweet, genuine, caring woman who didn't care what my budget was and didn't judge me based on that. She just wanted me to look and feel beautiful. Mariana is an amazing seamstress and KNOWS everything there is to know about wedding dresses including the bra you should be wearing on your special day. The presence of Gianna in the store as well makes you feel like you are being treated as well as they could possibly treat you. This boutique is not huge or fancy or showy, so don't get discouraged if you think the shop doesn't "look" a certain way. The women that work there are the gems that make this store shine!

Gianna's Bridal has the best staff and a big supply of dresses. They were so nice and easy to work with! I loved my dress, I didnt want to take it off.

I ordered my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, and the mother of bride dress all from Gianna's and I couldn't be happier. The staff was so friendly and never rushed us. They were a pleasure to work with.

My friend (and Bride's Maid, as well as textiles and clothing major) found this place just outside of Boston. The ladies who work there are adoreable - the seamstress, had the thickest Italian accent but she knew what she was doing! Turns out she's been in that profession since she was 12! I only tried on 2 dresses at the shop and although there were a LOT more options, that dress was perfect! I received innumerable compliments on the dress and the jewelery I purchased there, but I think the best part was how the dress made me feel. I was comfortable in this beautiful wedding dress. It fit perfectly (it fit almost perfectly when I tried it on the first time, but I lost a lot of weight before the wedding, so the seamstress had some work to do). The gown initially was around $900, but due to the substancial alterations, ended up around $1,100. Just from looking around, I noticed a lot of the dresses were signifigantly less than the one I picked out - so there's something for everyone here.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from here as it was a central location and I had read good reviews..The shop is tight but they have a good selection of dresses and the staff is quite friendly. We ended up getting a good discount on the bridesmaid dresses order as I had 10 of them and alterations and ordering were simple.

After spending a lot of time online looking at dresses and wondering just who the designers have in mind when they make wedding dresses, I came across one that I loved. Just like everything else, I was afraid to like it too much because I might be disappointed. I saved the dress and checked back on it here and there, but kept looking. You need options. When it was time to actually go looking at dresses, I pulled up my dream dress, found out where it was sold and headed straight there. When I first called Gianna's I asked if they carried the dress, they did. I told them I'd like to make an appointment to come try dresses on. No problem. I made an appointment and the day quickly approached. Armed with a short list of dresses I hoped to try, my mum and I met with Rosalie. I LOVE ROSALIE! She asked me what I liked, what I didn't like, and gave me space to look at their dresses. Rosalie immediately pulled the dress that I had come to see and few others that she thought would work for me. My mum and I also picked out a few. I was shown to a dressing room and Rosalie again gave me space. She told me that she'd be right there if I needed help, but that she wanted to give me privacy. Having never tried wedding gowns on before, I didn't realize how much help you might need. At first I was shy, but after a few dresses, I felt comfortable and Rosalie was there to zip, tuck, fix. She is amazing! I waited to try my dress on last. The others were all very nice, some didn't work for me, and Rosalie never pushed. She'd look at my face before she looked at the dress and say, "Not for you" and that was it. I didn't need to come up with a nice way to say No. She was wonderful. When I put my dress on, I came out of the dressing room, stood on the platform and felt like a Bride. This was my dress. And it was sealed when I slid my hands into the pockets. My shoulders relaxed, my smile was natural, I felt like I could wear that dress to do anything! I'm on the short side, so it was a bit too long and the straps would also need to be shortened, but there wouldn't be much alterations necessary. It fit! And, although I hadn't wanted a veil, my mum did so the perfect one was picked by my dear Rosalie. I'm sure everyone looks forward to their fittings to finally see their dress, see how it looks, but I loved going to see Rosalie. The experience was so nice, my mum ended up buying her dress their too! The night of my final fitting, the shop was busy; Prom season was approaching. There was a bride there before me and one following me, so they were busy. At no point did I feel rushed or ignored. Rosalie was helping another customer, so I just stood there and watched all the action wearing my dress, waiting for my special little chat with my friend. I asked her, "So?" She fluffed a little here and patted a little there, had me turn. And when I turned back, she was smiling! If Rosalie was smiling I knew I was good to go! I'm not a super fancy girly girl. The dress was perfect. I got so many compliments and I was able to dance the whole night w/o any wardrobe malfunctions! I was 100% comfortable in my dress the entire time. It fit like a glove and I couldn't have been happier! Everyone at Gianna's was wonderful! I wish we had gotten the bridesmaids' dresses there as well. I'm hoping to head back there for Christening clothes & a Communion dress someday down the road. Thank you for everything! I wish I wearing the dress right now!

I think I tried on every dress from every shop within the north shore. When I went to Gianna's I must admit I was shocked at first it is a tiny little shop in Stoneham and has the 100's of dresses shoved into this even smaller room. If you go there when its busy you maybe taken-a-back because there is no room to move and the women who work there are a little stern but if you make an appointment and can get there when it is less busy they are soo nice and work with you so well. I finally found my dress here and they could not have been anymore accomodating even when my dress came in wrong from the company they worked so hard to get it fixed.

This store for a lot of things seems a little pricey. However I found the perfect shoes for myself here. I was able to get them dyed and they matched my dress perfectly my grandmother and mother brought me here a second time to pick out my veil. And they also bought me my earrings here. I would reccomend stopping in. Though if you want to get something dyed make sure you have at least a month to get it done.

Gianna's was one of the first places that I tried on dresses, and after going to about 5 other shops, i realized how fantastic it was. There is nothing stuffy, or uncomfortable about the shop, and you are actually allowed to touch, and feel each dress yourself, and go through all the wracks, rather than have someone go fishing for you. The ladies are all super nice, and extremely helpful. My dress was beautiful, affordable, and I would definitely recommend all brides, to check out this shop.

I have mixed feelings about Giannas. I went to Giannas because I liked the idea of a smaller family owned business compared stores like davids bridal. Giannas was the fist and only place I looked for my wedding dress which I wish I did go to other places. My wedding was October 15 and I bought my dress in January. My dress was suppose to arrive in 6 months after ordering it but it arrived in the first week of september basically a month and half before the wedding so by that time I was already panicking, when I called they said not to worry. Luckly when the dress arrived and I tried it on it fit perfect so I did not need any alterations beside the bustle also the dress had a lot of loose beads that needed to be fixed. I also decided to have straps added on, my dress was ivory so I wanted Ivory straps with beading added which is what I told the seamstress and I thought she understood. When I went back for my final fitting the straps that she added were bright white with no beading and the seamstress did not understand why I was upset, there was a bit of a language barrier, my sister had to search through the drawers of straps and we finally found some that matched, fine not a big deal. Then the seamstress was showing my sister how to do the bustle and the corset which she told her to pull tight which she did, everything was great and fit the way I wanted. The night of the wedding when I picked up my dress they showed it to me it was pressed very nice and the straps were good. I was relieved. On the wedding day when I put my dress on and my sister pulled the corset tight one of the loops snapped so I was not able to have the dress as tight as I wanted, we were able to use white safety pins to fasten it but that was disappointing. I also got my shoes, earrings and head piece there which were all perfect. Overall my dress was gorgeous but it was pricey, and all the ladies who work there are really nice especially Rosemarie, its definatly worth going to check this place out but I would reccommend to keep your options open

Gianna and her staff helped me pick out my perfect wedding gown. They were helpful and attentive. The alterations department made my way too big gown fit me like a glove. Now, only to find another event to wear it to! My only suggestion is that they update their organization system from old manilla folders and an appointment book to a computer system. This would save time and look a little more professional.

I did have a few issues with the service at this bridal shop however, the dress I ended up with was the most stunning thing I've ever seen. The owner has her own line of dresses that are very unique and reasonably priced. My dress was one of hers and people are still telling me it was the most beautiful dress they had ever seen. The only down-fall to this place is the size of it and the fact that they always tend to overbook. For my last fitting I was thrown between 3 different rooms and my mother was rushed through hers. As long as you SAY that you want a time that's not super crazy when you go, it will be.

I purchased my gown from here 2 months after getting engaged, and 20 months before my wedding, but once I saw it I knew it was the one for me. While the shop is VERY small and crowded (even this might be an understatement), and you have to be willing to literally dig through racks to see the selection, if you find the dress for you, you can expect it to be reasonably priced. I purchased one of the sample dresses that had just come in so it was brand new, never even tried on before. Gianna was gracious enough to let me buy this brand new sample that had come in 5 days earlier, and was willing to come down on the price as well. Compared to 2 other stores who carried this dress and would have had to custom order it, Gianna's shop sold me my dress at an incredible price. I only had to go back to Gianna's one other time since I purchased off the rack, but I would highly recommend brides to check out this small shop and see if your dream dress is hidden within one of their overstuffed dress racks.

I absolutely loved this shop...although tiny and packed in, they had the best selection, prices, and were absolutely wonderful to work with. A little grandma helped me find my dress and kissed me and cried when I finally picked it up in the end!

i got my wedding gown here and they were very helpful and supportive. if i need a dress for any special occasion i will come back.

I really loved working with Gianna. I have been working with her for a number of weddings I have been in as well as my own and the experience is outstanding each time.

The ladies at Gianna's Bridal are absolutely amazing. They have a wonderful staff and a great selection of bridal gowns, as well as mother of the bride, bridesmaids, and flower girls. They also have a huge selection of shoes and accessories. They were able to accommodate my last minute veil order and were always pleasant. When I picked up my dress for my wedding, everyone congratulated me and wished us well. Fantastic!

I wasn't impressed with this place. I bought my dress here simply because it was the cheapest I found it but the service was less than par. I had to wait at least 45 every time I went in for an appointment for alterations before I was helped. They over schedule and are understaffed. I think I would have paid more to go somewhere else if I could do it again.

I found Gianna's on the knot when I had seen a dress I wanted to look at. When I went there- I found the dress of my dreams. I looked a few dresses, and didn't want anything too flashy- my dream was simple yet elegant. When I saw this I knew, when I tried it on- there was nothing else to even consider. It was EXACTLY- simple yet elegant. I was hoping I wouldn't faint by the price- and when I saw the price I was in shock (less than $600- when I expected over $10000!!!). The seamstress fit the dress so perfectly- it felt like it was made for me and was so comfortable all night. Everyone in the boutique is so sweet and caring- I am soooooo glad I found them. Thanks!

They had tons of BM dresses... just tons on only a few racks all squished together. It was very hard to pull a dress of the rack without it being tangled up in the next hanger. Once you had it out there was no place to put it to save while you kept looking. The people there were ok. Didn't seem to care if I was there or not but were not rude. Just ambivilant. I didn't like that there was no platform to stand on so the dress isn't pooling at your feet.
