One of the things I cared most about for my wedding were the pictures and video as I knew they would be really the only tangible thing we could take from the day and use to remembe...
r forever. With that in mind, I wanted our photos and videos to be timeless and natural in style and edited so we could focus on the memories when looking back. I looked through a lot of different Instagrams and websites to narrow down the list of options and was immediately drawn to the Gibbys. Emily’s photos had the timelessness that I was wanting while still capturing the feel of the day and Justin’s videos captured all of the important moments in such a way that you felt like you were still there. My mom and I scheduled a call with them and they both were so friendly and down to earth that we knew they would be the perfect choice for both photo and video. We were planning our Virginia Beach wedding from northern Virginia, and chose to have our engagement pictures taken where we lived in Old Town Alexandria to capture a bit of our life here. Emily and Justin were more than willing to make the trip up for the evening and spent a couple hours with us wandering around Old Town capturing photos and video that we will cherish for years to come. We also were able to meet and chat with them both in person for the first time, and were reassured that we made the right decision as they made the whole process seem so effortless and easy (especially for someone who does not like being the center of attention!).
Emily attended our final walkthrough to get a feel for the day and worked with our planner to determine the best timeline for pictures throughout the day. We chose to have Emily also photograph the bridal luncheon the day before and she fit right in with everyone and felt less photographer and more like a friend capturing the day. Emily and Justin both came to capture our welcome party and again fit seamlessly into the crowd capturing all the fun and speeches of the night. On the wedding day, the entire Gibby team did an amazing job capturing the day from pictures at the Cavalier, then transitioning over to the church for more pictures/the ceremony, and back to the Cavalier for the cocktail hour and reception. Everyone that interacted with the Gibbys commented on how wonderful they were and how easy the documentation (photo and video) process felt. Emily sent us a whole preview suite of pictures to have just a couple days after the wedding, which was such a pleasantly unexpected surprise! We got our whole suite of over 2,000 photographs less than a month after the wedding and they are amazing. We love them all so much and have received countless comments from people on how beautiful the photos are and how well they capture the love and fun of the weekend. I love them all so much I haven’t been able to narrow them down to post on social media yet (I know I need to, but she really did such a great job that it feels impossible to narrow them down)! Justin got us back all of our video content within a few months and again, amazing. The footage is beautiful and to quote one of my bridesmaids “Did they work for TLC in a previous life? Serious documentary skills.”. I can’t say enough good things about the Gibby team. They were probably the best decision we made about our entire wedding, and we will cherish their photos and videos from them for the rest of our lives.

the final touches, these professionals are exceptional. They're meticulous, courteous, friendly, excellent communicators, and discreet. Our guests even remarked on their unobtrusiveness, as they managed to capture the wedding without obstructing any views. The final video of our daughter's wedding is a treasure, highlighting the most memorable moments of the day. It will be a cherished keepsake for years. Additionally, we contracted with Justin's wife, Emily (Emily Gibby Photography), as our photographer. Suffice it to say, this pair is unmatched! The caliber of their work and the range of packages they provide are unrivaled. Look no further for your videography or photography needs—the Gibbys are the best choice!

day, Justin was incredibly communicative with us and open to our ideas/input on how we wanted our day recorded. He was SO easy to work with. On our wedding day, the team arrived ahead of schedule and got so much footage. I never felt like I was being filmed; he made the whole experience natural and candid. Our family and friends were impressed by all the video coverage he got! An experience I truly enjoyed doing with him was the first look with my now husband. He captured everything from a distance while my husband was mic'd up so we were able to enjoy the moment just the two of us. I would HIGHLY recommend Justin and his team for anyone's wedding - they are truly fantastic!

media. On the day we chose for our engagement pictures, it was so windy, but they both took it in stride, and we have amazing memories, photos and a video from the engagement session. Words can't describe how much we love our wedding photos and video. They captured everything about the day - we never imagined our photos and videos could look so beautiful. Gibby Visuals is a must hire!

The team before, during and after our wedding was easy to work with and understood our vision so well. They captured great moments that we were able to relive or experience for the first time.
We had the Associate Silver package and added the documentary edit and it suited our needs well!

Right off on the morning of the wedding when we first met Luke and Ryan, we instantly knew we were in the best hands possible too. They added an immediate sense of ease and were absolutely incredible every minute of the wedding. Their professionalism and expertise helped make every bit of one of the most amazing days of my life somehow relaxing. There is no better feeling than knowing the best day of your daughter's life is going to be captured both perfectly and beautifully, so that it can be watched over and over again with every detail captured so that it will never be forgotten.
To wrap it all up the day after--just when our minds were still reeling from all the excitement the most amazing sneak peek was provided that that brought tears to our eyes. We are so very thankful that we chose Gibby Visuals.

ut not "skimping" on photo/video, so we decided to go for it with Justin (and Emily) and we are SOOOOO glad we did. They were reasonable with costs and really worked with us to understand the value of what were getting from them. Justin is very talented and extremely passionate about his "purpose" (notice I didn't say job). He truly wants to capture your love story and he is committed to providing you with memories that will last you a lifetime. Justin (and Emily) came with us to our destination wedding in the Bahamas last month. They were incredible. Justin even came equipped with a drone, go pro cameras, to get some very unique footage to add to our video. He captured so many unique moments and did so in a way that was comfortable, yet professional. While we were there Emily and Justin both fit in with our friends and family so well, but also remained focused on their work. Our family and friends commented on how wonderful they were "as people." To be honest, my wedding day was a bit of blur, there's so much going on. I'm so grateful to have the video to remind me of the wonderful time we had celebrating with family and friends. Our wedding was Justin's first time shooting a Greek Orthodox church ceremony. He did great! He captured the highlights of the ceremony, and the combination of cultures that influenced our reception (Greek, American, Bahamian). We just got our highlight video last night, and my husband and I have already watched it 3 times. We plan to have a party for our family and friends at home in the next few months to "premier" the video. It will be a reunion for those who attended and way to celebrate with those who couldn't make it to the Bahamas!

ustin was responsive and friendly. On our wedding day he made me feel very comfortable almost forgetting he was there capturing the day. The day after the wedding Justin already had a 2minute teaser of the wedding put together and sent to me. It was so special to be able to relive that magical day again. The teaser brought tears to mine and my family’s eyes as we watched. When I told him how I loved the teaser and that it made us tear up assured me that the full-length video would be even better, and he did not disappoint! I absolutely love the full-length video and could not be happier with how it turned out.
We had every other vendor booked and were planning to forego a videographer, but kept wavering back and forth so my mom and I decided we’d go check out an expo just in case. We cam...
e across Gibby Visuals there and were impressed by their friendliness, their products, their willingness to answer our MANY questions and, mostly, the fact that they didn’t pressure us or try to sell us. We ended up booking them that day! My wedding was a morning wedding and we booked them for the entire day, so they had to travel an hour away and be there EARLY! They arrived promptly full of energy and ready to go. They were with us while getting ready, first looks, the ceremony, the reception and everything in between. The next day when I told my maid of honor I couldn’t wait to see the video she said, “you had a videographer?” They were always skillful and, obviously, never in the way! The results from that day were so incredible and flawless. They truly captured every important moment, every angle, every smile, every laugh and all the tears of joy. They also interviewed family members and guests l, unbeknownst to me, giving me some really cherishable surprises when I saw the video! The way they edited and pieced together 8 hours of footage so flawlessly and added the perfect music to it is true talent! Beyond our wedding day, I had many more questions and requests for additional footage and they responded in a very timely manner providing me many additional options. I cannot say enough positive things about this dynamic duo, and how beautiful is it that they’re a love story hoping to share in illustrating your love story?! You will definitely be missing out if you don’t hire these two!

ery easy going. He and his team made our wedding party feel so at ease. My husband and I got married in April, and the weather was hit or miss with rain. Justin's attitude was very positive and uplifting and he was not going to let the weather take away from capturing footage. I am so so happy I chose to hire a videographer. Sure, pictures are nice to have to look back on, but a wedding video helps you re-live the special day all over again!! I cannot put into words how pleased we were with Justin and his team! Even our friends and family were amazed with how great his work is. Thank you Justin for making our wedding day one to remember!!! You will not be disappointed if you were to hire Gibby Visuals!
I wasn't initially planning on hiring a videographer since I hate seeing myself on camera, but the more I heard other brides say how fast the day went, and how they barely remember...
ed the day, I knew I needed to hire one. Justin was referred to me by our photographers, and he was such a good match for us! He was very professional and passionate about what he does. He filmed our entire wedding day using an iphone, which actually made me feel more at-ease around the camera. I truly appreciate that he made sure to capture what were the most important parts of the day to us. We are so happy we hired him, now we can relive our day over and over!
I had a different type of wedding experience, I decided to get married in the Cayman Islands from a cruise. I emailed several videographers and the moment I read Justin’s response...
, I knew he was the one. He was so kind, personable, focused on what I wanted as the bride, and excited. I could tell he valued what I said, had passion in his work, and would make all my dreams come true. Let me tell you that he did just that and BEYOND. He and his wonderful wife Emily came with us on our 7 night cruise and were like family. They spent time talking to me about what I envisioned and captured it so perfectly on my wedding day and the days surrounding it. I would highly recommend Gibby Visuals to anyone and have confidence that he would create the same experience for you. Love you Justin and Emily! Thank you so much for my beautiful video that I will cherish the rest of my life!!

l the moment we left the reception. We’ve already watched the video dozens of times and we aren’t even a year into marriage :-) Justin and his wife were a joy to have as part of our wedding day. Justin was incredibly responsive leading up to the wedding and I appreciated his questionnaire which helped him get a better idea of what kind of video we wanted after all was said and done.

e entire process so easy and crazy fun! He was able to put together a video that authentically showcased my brand and personality. He listened to my ideas and helped me to think outside the box to create a video that would stand out in my industry. I'm so happy with the end result and can't wait to recommend Justin & Gibby Visuals to everyone I know!
The one thing I am SO grateful about budgeting in (against the wishes of my family) was this wedding video!!! Now they are all happy they listened to me! Gibby visuals was a dream ...
come true. The engagement shoot is priceless, and the next day video teaser is the most exciting thing! Probably one of the best choices we made was finding Justin and his team at Gibby! Their energy on the big day was what I needed to feel calm and at ease- they handled being behind the scenes without making anyone feel uneasy or awkward on camera. Seriously a dream come true and the best wedding present a girl could ask for being able to relive the day through the beautiful story of our day that Justin creates! His eye for details and the way he transitions into different parts is perfection. From one bride to another- budget for the video!!! It'll be the best thing you did for yourself after all those months of planning!! Thank you Gibby visuals!!
