My bridesmaids, mom, and I were all thrilled with our hair for my wedding. Gigi was quick to respond, reasonable with prices and super talented. Everything went smoothly the morning of the wedding and I didn't need to worry about anything hair related. Would definitely recommend hiring Gigi for any wedding!

Gigi made me look amazing! My hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted. I have fine hair that doesn't like to keep curls, but she gave me lots of volume and my hair stayed in place all night. She's also super quick to respond, unlike a lot of other vendors. Definitely book Gigi for your bridal party!

Gigi did an amazing job! She came at the recommendation of my makeup artist Torie Conn. They are a dynamic duo! My wedding ceremony was outdoors in September in downtown Chicago. It was 80+ degrees. I did a mostly down loose curl look. The look held the entire day. Prior to the actual day, she was so responsive and extremely helpful. I was on a very limited time table so timing and responsiveness was super important to me. Contract and fees all very reasonable.

My bridal hair was perfect! Gigi fine-tuned the look to be exactly what I was hoping for and my low updo lasted beautifully throughout the night. She was able to take a few of the pictures I gave her and spin them into what exactly fit my style and hair type. She also did a great job with my mom's hair and that honestly meant even more to me! My mom was so concerned for weeks about how to wear her hair, and Gigi nailed exactly what she was looking for. Future Brides! Gigi is the person to go to for hair and make up! Gigi did my hair and make up for my wedding day and when I say it was beautiful and held for the entire day and next - I am not making an over statement! I had a post wedding ceremony the next day with family and I overslept after the long night and literally woke up and attended it. Gigi first did my hair a few months ago for my bidesmaids hair and I loved it! So I quickly booked Gigi to do my hair for my wedding. Gigi did my hair trial for the wedding and then my wedding hair as well! We hired Gigi for our Wisconsin wedding. It was tough to find hair stylist that would travel due to covid. The planning process was very easy and she was helping me every step of the way. I had a style in mind that I liked and she helped me with changes and was super flexible. She traveled up to Wisconsin for our wedding and worked with each of my bridesmaids with what they wanted. She was a great hair stylist and made my hair for my hair for my wedding day everything I wanted.

Gigi was a perfect fit for our micro wedding this fall! She is very easy to work with and a calming force for a nervous bride. She took my Pinterest vision and turned it into reality for the hair and makeup trial. For the wedding day, she pulled up the trial pictures and made suggestions to make my vision exact. My airbrush makeup and hairstyle stayed all day, even in the wind. I highly recommend Gigi!

Gigi did my hair and makeup for my wedding in August 2020 and she did an awesome job! She made sure I liked everything every step of the way. Gigi is a miracle worker! When I set out to find someone to do hair for my wedding I wanted someone who was experienced with wedding up-dos enough to stay on time and create styles that my bridal party and I would all love. Gigi and Jacquee went above and beyond on all fronts. Gigi is fantastic when it comes to organizing and scheduling so we had 12 girls total getting their hair done (including me) the morning of my wedding and she finished about an hour ahead of schedule! I didn't have great pictures of what I wanted, but just describing my vision to Gigi and what I honestly knew I didn't want led us to a fantastic trial and she did an awesome job to replicate the style for the day of. She also took extra time to tweak the smallest details for me the day of so everything was perfect! My bridesmaids also all loved their hair styles and everyone looked amazing. I think my only regret is I didn't hire Gigi and her team for our make-up as I think we would've loved that just as much! You are making a great decision with Gigi and her team, especially with someone who is so experienced with weddings, and just such a pleasant person to work with!

I am so happy I had Gigi for my wedding! She did my hair (the bride), 6 bridesmaid and my mom and husbands moms hair. Everyone loved her! 2 of my bridesmaids have now booked her for their weddings later this year. Not enough good things to say about Gigi! She dolled us up for 3 days straight. She's not only a hair stylist- she does beautiful make up artistry as well! We had compliments coming left and right! She was ALWAYS on time, came with positive energy, and was extremely personable. After 3 days in a row with her, we all felt like she was a dear friend of ours. My and mom and I were so happy with her service for my wedding, we've already booked her for my brother's . Honestly, one of the best in Chicago area. You won't be be disappointed!

When I first started looking for a hairdresser I started asking close friends for suggestions but none of their suggestions made me feel “safe” so I started looking online and I found Gigi and my first look at her pictures on Instagram I found a hairstyle I wanted for for big day and I knew she was gonna be the one I’d choose. She came to the venue to work on mine and the bridesmaids hair and everyone loved her work. She was on time and everyone was happy! My hair was curly and done for 2 entire days and even in the last moment I undo it, it was looking great! I super recommend Gigi as a hairdresser! She is the best!

Gigi is such a talented hair stylist!! I’m super picky and particular when it comes to my hair ( I can walk out of the house with no makeup and bum clothes, but hair must be done!). So when it came to my wedding, I was very picky and continuously questioned what I was gonna get done. I showed Gigi one picture and she transformed my hair into everything and more than I imagined. She gave her honest opinions about different hair accessories and what works and doesn’t work for certain hair textures/styles. She also fit me into her crazy busy schedule for my trial and made sure my mothers, 12 bridesmaids, and myself were all ready on time for my special day. Seriously a talented woman and I’m so happy she was able to be part of my day!

I booked Gigi to do hair-styling for my August 2018 wedding. From the very beginning of the process, Gigi was professional and thoughtful. I booked a trial in her home salon, and she listened to what I envisioned and also gave suggestions given my hair length and texture. My hair is not easy to work with and I was amazed at how flawlessly Gigi was able to create a style that I loved. On the wedding day, Gigi arrived on time and was able to provide stunning updos for the entire wedding party. Throughout the day, Gigi was kind, attentive and upbeat! She made everyone feel at ease and beautiful! She worked quickly and also left time at the end of the day for final touch-ups. The day felt calm and nobody felt rushed, which is important on what can be a stressful day. My hair and bridesmaids' hair looked beautiful the whole evening (even through some intense dancing)! I cannot recommend Gigi enough for your wedding day!

I found Gigi through some facebook pictures I saw on a friend's profile where she was a bridesmaid. I noticed how all the bridesmaids plus the bride looked absolutely stunning. I am very picky when it comes to hair but I absolutely could not point out one single flaw in any of the hairstyles. I quickly decided to search and see who Gigi Conrad was and I saw more pictures of the hairstyles she has done in the past. I contacted Gigi and we made a trial appointment. At the trial I was very pleased with how she knew exactly what to do with my hair. I showed her a few options of interest for my wedding day. I did a trial with my hair curled down and a small crown in the middle. Although I liked it, my hair began to quickly uncurl as the day went on. I informed Gigi my hair was falling out of the curls and she was so prompt to respond and reassured me that on the wedding day this absolutely will not happen. The wedding day came and I was slightly unsure if we should go with the same hairstyle as the trial. I decided to switch it up a bit but Gigi was able to accommodate for the change and made sure I had the right length for my extensions and enough volume to last me the whole day. For my henna night (the day before the wedding), I simply showed Gigi a picture of an updo I had seen and on the spot she was able to work on my hair and bring it to perfection in just 30 minutes. I received a lot of compliments on my hair for my henna night. I had to admit, I wasn't sure how I would look in updos because I personally in the past have not been able to pull it off but Gigi sure delivered. I was in awe myself when I looked at myself. Gigi also accommodated for my mom's hair very well. My mom does not have much hair and she does not wear a wig. I was really skeptically in how my mom hair would be for my henna night and wedding day. Gigi was able to use fillers and diminish the areas with less hair. This gave my mom more confidence during the both days. If I had another event, I definitely would go with Gigi! She was so sweet and accommodated all of my requests. Gigi was great from start to finish. I had a hair trial before my bridal shower and it was great. I went to her home salon and we were able to preview what I was thinking for my wedding day. The day of my wedding she was able to do 4 bridesmaids a guest and myself. My hair was exactly what I imagined and more! I got extensions added for extra length and it was perfect! I was so happy with my hair and all of my bridesmaids looked beautiful! I would definitely recommend Gigi for your wedding!

Gigi and her assistant were awesome! My trial with Gigi went great, I love what she did.. I switched it up a bit for my wedding day because of the weather and she still managed to make my hair look absolutely perfect! I am very picky and have had my hair done several times from being in different weddings ... I'm always worried about not enough volume. I told her that one time and she did the PERFECT do! Gigi was GREAT! My daughter was married this past June. Before the wedding Gigi sent us a schedule to let us know how to plan the morning. The day of the wedding Gigi showed up on time and was set up ahead of schedule. She listened to each girls request and worked profiently and stayed on schedule. Gigi is AMAZING. I hired her in 2017 to do hair for my wedding events in 2018. From the moment I reached out to her in regards to this, she was so great to work with! Fellow brides, you know how many irritating vendors there are to deal with out there. Gigi, however, is nothing of the sort! She was so easy to work with, honest, so down to earth, flexible, and has a true talent for what she does. I actually hired another vendor for my makeup and Gigi worked so well with her, collaborating to come up with a schedule that worked for them to do hair and makeup on 16 people. During my trial, I couldn't figure out what type of curl I wanted in my hair or what style exactly. Gigi had the patience to try different styles on me until we found one that I liked and I really appreciated that about her. Between my trial and wedding events, I also found out that Gigi does cuts and colors so I went to her for one. I figured I want her to know my hair as well as possible before the wedding day. Seriously, best cut n color I've ever had! Now my sister and I go to Gigi even after the wedding! Anyway, back to wedding events - I had a day before the wedding event called a "mylanchi" for which I asked Gigi to do my hair, my mom's and sister's. I was in LOVE. My mom has never done an updo and was so out of her comfort zone doing one, but Gigi gave her an updo that day and it looked amazing!! My sister told her exactly what she wanted and Gigi gave her exactly that. As for me, I showed her a picture off pinterest and she did it even better! Seriously, we were getting compliments all night on our hair. Come wedding day, Gigi had me, my sisters, mom and 13 bridesmaids to do. She brought another stylist with her to help her get the job done and the two of them were amazing! My girls loved their hair and I loved mine! I was so scared that having my hair down wouldn't look so "bridal" because I always have my hair down and curly. But Gigi found a way to give my hair this "va va voom" that looked even better than it did on the day of the trial. I was also skeptical that my hair would last all day and night. During my engagement party, I got my hair done by a company in NY but I ended up recurling it 3 times again that night myself so you can imagine my fear. But I definitely had nothing to worry about. I didn't even need to touch up my hair. Gigi did amazing!

Gigi did a great job at learning what has and hasn't worked well for me and adapting an updo to suit my style. She is always accommodating, even when hairstyling needs to begin at 5:00 a.m.

I had a hair trial with Gigi and I was really scared about doing an updo because I think my heart was fixed on leaving it curled and down because that's what the safe choice was and what I'm used to. However, Gigi showed me how my hair looked down before she put it up so that I could compare it and she made my updo look soo nice even in a trial. What I loved was that she gave her suggestions and made me feel comfortable without pushing anything on me.
