Gillespie Conference & Special Event Center

Gillespie Conference & Special Events Center is a wedding venue located on Saint Mary’s Campus in South Bend, IN. This facility is situated conveniently off of I-80 and I-90 and adjacent to Notre Dame University. It is also attached to the Hilton Garden Inn and Saint Mary’s Inn, where you and your guests can stay overnight in luxurious suites. The venue’s experienced team of event coordinators are trained to bring all your dreams to life and curate a sophisticated and seamless celebration. Gillespie Conference & Special Events Center offers a number of event spaces where you can host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The largest of these is the spacious Fleur de Lis Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 840 guests. A pre-function foyer also wraps around this banquet hall and is a great place to serve cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Smaller board rooms can also be used for get-ready suites, rehearsal dinners, and engagement parties. Ceremonies are held out in The Terrace Garden, where a pathway leads to a dais with an elegant brick backdrop and intricate domed cover. Here, you can make your grand entrance through a white pergola and exchange your vows in front of flowing water fixtures. The wedding planning team at Gillespie Conference & Special Events Center is led by Special Events Manager Alison Lewis. From your first tour to your final send-off, Alison will work diligently to help plan your menu, liaise with your vendors, and develop a layout. Executive Chef Joshua will also collaborate with you to customize your delectable reception menu to your tastes and preferences.
