Jared and I are always awkward when it comes to posing in front of the camera. Stacy and Trent made us feel so comfortable and natural. f when/where to shoot/what to wear/etc. We let them know that we wanted to meet in person at the engagement shoot before booking our wedding, and asked them to please pencil our wedding date in and let us know if they had any other inquiries on our wedding date. Much to our surprise, a couple weeks later, on the morning of our engagement shoot, I received an email from Stacy letting us know that they had booked our wedding date with another couple. This really ruined the mood for our engagement shoot. They have some amazing photos that they publish on their website and social media platforms, but we were really disappointed that ours didn't turn out very well. We have several ok photos, but nothing that really wowed us. We definitely didn't have any pictures that solidified our choice in choosing them. Obviously, most photographers only publish their best work, but none of our photos were that amazing. We will admit that we probably didn’t choose the best month to shoot, and we aren’t exactly models, but still! I thought it was extremely unprofessional to book our date after discussing a first right of refusal, and also very unprofessional in the timing of letting us know they didn't honor that. Their unprofessionalism and not so great quality of our photos left a really bad taste in our mouth. Brides and grooms beware!

as well as our wedding and we loved all of them. They truly capture so many beautiful moments and the time they take to edit and perfect every photo is priceless. It is hard to pick favorites because we love every single shot. They are so easy to get along with and you want to hang out with them all the time! We are incredibly grateful for these lifelong memories and recommend them to everyone!

I fell in love with their work early on in the planning process - I knew I had found the perfect photographers before I had even booked our venue. They’re an incredibly talented team who are quick on their feet to capture fleeting storytelling moments and, most importantly, they’re are genuinely great people who you want by your side on your wedding day. They embodied everything we were looking for in wedding photographers - they weren’t afraid to take risks, they pushed the boundaries, they are lighting gurus and we trusted that they could handle whatever came their way. The elements brought forth many challenges - with hail, lightning and a downpour of rain - and they took a situation that could have been a disaster, embraced the moment and created some of the most beautiful and compelling images we’ve ever seen. edding as neither of us are super comfortable in front of a camera. However, Stacy and Trent made us feel so comfortable from our first meeting in Denver and our engagement pictures turned out to be absolutely beautiful. My husband and I had just gotten back in town from vacation the weekend we took our engagement photos and were a bit frazzled. On our hike up to St. Mary's Glacier, we misplaced our car keys on the mountain in the middle of the forest. We didn't realize we had lost our keys until hours later. Despite the fact Stacy and Trent had been working all weekend and had just spent hours with us taking our engagement photos, they quickly started helping us search the forest until we were able to find our keys. The compassion they showed to us in our engagement session continued on our wedding day when we had a surprise with the weather prior to the ceremony. From the day we booked our venue in Breckenridge, we had envisioned an outdoor, fall wedding ceremony. However, about an hour prior to our wedding ceremony, it started raining heavily and then the rain turned to snow as the temperature dropped. We spent about thirty minutes deliberating on whether or not to move the ceremony inside. Stacy and Trent, along with Ebs from Distinctive Mountain Events, were incredibly supportive in encouraging us to keep our ceremony outside as that is what we really wanted. Our ceremony ended up being absolutely perfect and I know our wedding photos will reflect just how beautiful our day was. Stacy and Trent's photos speak for themselves but you get so much more if you book with them than just photos. You get their compassion and support to have the very best experience you could possibly have with the person you love most in the world. I could not recommend Trent and Stacy more highly to anyone looking for beautiful, artistic and creative photos as well as photographers that truly wish the best for you on your big day!

They have amazing chemistry as a husband/wife team, and it was super fun spending time with them throughout the day! Definitely felt like they were our friends...not just our vendor! ement photos. After asking what style we were looking for, he provided some location ideas. We met up and spent a couple hours in Boulder capturing all sorts of different poses and moments. Being in front of a camera can sometimes be awkward and unnerving, but Trent made the whole experience fun and light hearted. Then came the results... We absolutely loved them! All our friends and family said we looked like movie stars. Had we not celebrated the wedding out of state, we would have hired him to be our wedding photographer. My advice would be- don't come with a ton of your own ideas, trust Trent and his creativity. He will help you capture the photos you want and so much more.

They put us in places that make the most beautiful photos I could have ever imagined. They are incredibly talented at capturing all the special moments too and they always made my husband and I feel so comfortable. I love their style and approach. Never going to see boring photos coming from them! They will literally do just about anything for that amazing shot. At our wedding, we were supposed to be given 30 minutes at a specific location located on our venue. The on-site wedding planner was a bit pushy and only gave us about 10-15 minutes. I was kind of upset about it but Trent took my husband and I to an even better place for even better photos! We were so impressed. Trent and Stacy are incredibly kind, fun, cool, professional, flexible... I could go on and on. I would recommend them to EVERYONE! Besides our wedding day itself, the photography was so important to us. I'm glad that we went with them for our photos. We literally can't stop looking at all the moments they captured. If I ever need important moments of my life captured again, I will always turn to Gillespie Photography with great trust and pride. I'd give them more than 5 stars on my rating because they deserve so much more.
