Gillian was amazing for our big day! She was very professional and you can tell she loved being there. The photos were everything and more! She was also very felixable with us since we had to move or wedding date due to Covid. We could not have asked for a better photographer.

I can’t express how much Gillian did at my wedding. Through the whole wedding planning process she was checking in, making sure I was okay and needed anything. She always let me know that I was a priority and that if I needed her she was there. She went above and beyond. She has a calming, take control way about her. Which helped me immensely because I am a high anxiety person. She was the one that calmed me down on my wedding day. She was the one that got a true REAL smile out of me, my serious husband and my two tween stepdaughters! All the photos she took are just amazing. She did an outstanding job. Our wedding and engagement photos were amazing all because of Gillian's talent!! She did an excellent job getting to know my Husband and I before our big day. She understood what type of photography we enjoyed the most and what type of photos we wanted to avoid. She did a fantastic job illustrating the wedding with her own creative vision. Her personality allowed it to be really easy to get along with and be comfortable in front of a camera. Our friends and family continue to rave about our wedding photos! Gillian was a perfect match for us! She did our engagement photos in Charleston and our wedding at Wachesaw Plantation in Pawleys Island. The pictures were absolutely beautiful!! My husband can be on the shy side, but he was so comfortable with her that he practically led the engagement shoot! It was awesome working with her, and the pictures came out even better than I had expected! Will be using her in the future, highly recommend!!!

When looking for a photographer, Gillian was highly recommended by several people. She was very easy to talk to on the phone (like an old friend you haven't seen in awhile). We had a very small wedding and just wanted the ceremony photographed, she listened to everything we wanted and delivered. The pictures are beautiful, something we will cherish for many, many years. And when we are ready for another photo shoot, we will definitely be calling on Gillian again.

Gillian did not disappoint! The bridal portraits of our daughter are stunning and the wedding and reception photos are beautiful and so much fun. Gillian is AMAZING I don't think we received a single image back that we didn't love!! I interned as a wedding photographer during college so I was incredibly picky about the photographer we would have on our wedding and I could not of imagined using anyone other than Gillian! Gillian is an amazing photographer. She took our wedding pictures in April and they are absolutely amazing. She has a great personality and is super easy to work with. Made sure ahead of time that she knew who the key players in the wedding were and very tactfully and unobtrusively captured our wedding day beautifully. She was great with our dog (ring bearer) and all of the kids. I would highly recommend her as your wedding photographer. If I ever need photos taken again, there is no one else I would call.

I was looking for someone that could capture our wedding that wouldn't make us stand around and tilt our heads and drape our hands over each other, etc. I wanted editorial, I wanted someone to capture the true emotions of the day - I found that with Gillian Claire. In general, I am a bit reserved, and her outgoing personality was able to pull me out of my shell from the first time I met her. We had a very small wedding in our home, and she came in and made all of our guests feel comfortable with her presence and comfortable having their photos taken. I love that she went around and captured the "candid" moments of our guests talking, laughing, and gathering with one another - which was what was really going on, not standing around posing with each other. The photos turned out beautifully...and Gillian's equipment is pretty awesome!

Gillian was awesome to work with from beginning to end. Her gorgeous photos are so elegant and not the normal cheesy wedding pics. We had a shared vision just a few minutes into our initial conversation and everything was perfect. My whole family and our guests all sort of got to know her as there were 19 of us in all. My friends and family have said they would all book sessions with her the next time they are in the area. I could not have asked for better photos. Gillian is absolutely amazing! She is so friendly, creative, talented, and professional. She captured our 5 year wedding vow renewal in Charleston, SC and our images and experience with her exceeded our expectations! Having only spoken on the phone before meeting her (we live in the NYC area), we were able to immediately click with Gillian when we met for our vow renewal. We felt so comfortable with her, she made us laugh, and captured our renewal in such a beautiful way. I can't even begin to describe how much the photographs Gillian produced for our wedding mean to my husband and I. The memories of my wedding weekend, captured by Gillian, were beyond anything I could have hoped for. My wedding in 2007 was one of her first. She has an incredibly creative eye, and took some amazingly candid moments. She has a very special gift. When you look back through your day, you get to experience so many moments that you may have missed as a busy bride. I wanted a very relaxed setting, and didn't want to send a lot of time away from our guests. She was so efficient, and we still get compliments on the photos. I really just can't say enough about how much we loved having her as a part of our day. After the cake is gone, you want the best photos you can have to remember your day. Gillian never disappoints. If you want a spectacular, talented and amazing photographer to add a special touch to your day, Gillian is your girl!! From the first time I saw the photos on her website I could tell her work stood out from the other photographers in the area. I said to my fiance (now husband) "we have to have her!!" And we were lucky enough to get her...from the very beginning Gillian was amazing. She even helped us get a SWEET trolley to transport the bridal party for pictures on the beach and around the resort, thanks to her wonderful husband's company Carolina Limousine. Gillian's personality was just as amazing as her work!! When we received our pictures back they were even better than I expected, my family and friends could not stop ooohing and aaahing. Gillian managed to capture so many details that I never would have thought about but am so happy to have!! Where do I begin to tell you how AWESOME Gillian is as a photographer! You WANT her to photograph your wedding, trust me! I cannot say enough good things about Gillian Claire Rinehart. I got married in February 2016, and I truly could not have picked a more perfect photographer for my engagement photos and wedding. When I was looking for my photographer, I had a lot of expectations (A LOT) ... And that's hard to find! Here's how Gillian met ALL of my expectations: 1) Taking photographs can feel very unnatural and awkward (especially for my husband)! Gillian goes above and beyond to make you feel so comfortable. Not only is she extremely professional, but she's also laid-back and fun! She makes the whole process so enjoyable. 2) I wanted a photographer that I could get along with and bond with throughout the process of wedding planning, engagement photos, and the big day. Gillian, again, went above and beyond to get to know me, my fiancé, and our families. From the first time I met her, we had an instant connection and friendship. She is so friendly and warm, you won't be able to help but adore her! 3) Gillian listens. Be honest with her, and she'll deliver. Isn't that what every bride wants? Don't be afraid to ask and Gillian will meet every expectation you have. You just have to tell her! 4) If you have a big wedding (like me 350+), Gillian has plenty of excellent photographer-partners that assist her and work with her and on the big day! And they all are just as fabulous and kind as her! 5) Gillian can use film and digital. And she's an artist at both. Don't be intimidated or turned off that she likes to use old-school methods like film. I promise, it'll turn out just like you want it. She's truly a pro and an artist. 6) Gillian is affordable!!!! Again, isn't that what every bride wants? She will work with you to put together a package that meets all of your needs and at a price you can afford. You just have to ask ;). 7) Most importantly, Gillian puts her clients first. She'll give you suggestions and trust her instincts. But if you want something specific or if you want a photo fixed, she's your girl. Gillian was one of the best decisions I made in wedding planning. You won't be disappointed, I promise!!

Gillian is the best -- you will love working with her! She has a great personality and is extremely nice and easy to get along with - she felt like an old friend after speaking with her once. All of our photos turned out beautifully. Gillian's turn-around time was great and the quality of the shots is amazing. Working with film really makes a huge difference. She photographed our wedding on a 100 degree day - we were all sweating and hot, but she made it fun, capturing everything. She works well with young children and coaxed staying power out of them in the heat for one family photo. She captures everything you want without ever being "in the way" as I've noticed other photographers can be. You will never regret working with Gillian!

There aren't enough way I could praise Gillian as a wedding photographer. We chose her to capture our 2015 wedding because we fell in love with her passion for her craft, her use of film and her ability to storytell through images. My initial consultation with Gillian was over the phone as our wedding was destination and I think we spoke for over an hour; we chatted as if we were old friends. I felt so comfortable with her, we chose to give her a lot of creative freedom to do what she does best when it came to telling our story. The day of our wedding, Gillian and her team were professional, engaged and FUN! Most importantly, the images came out exquisite and exactly how I imagined they would. Gillian was AMAZING!!!! There are not enough wonderful things I can say about her. She did my bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception and all of the pictures turned out fabulous!!!! Most weddings that I've been in, all of the pictures are very staged and the photographer is right by the bride the entire night following her around. Gillian was able to capture all of the "necessary" photos without being in the way. Not to mention she was able to capture wonderfully candid pictures that were beautiful even during an outside wedding in the middle of a tropical storm. Her awesome personality and reassuring presence is very much needed during the most important day of your life. She was even able to win over the groom and groomsmen and they thought she was awesome. How many times have you heard a groom and the groomsmen compliment the photographer during a wedding celebration?? I never have until Gillian. That being said, hiring her to be your photographer will be the best decision you can make, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!!

Gillian has been great to work with throughout the years! I was looking for an engagement/wedding photographer. I called around looking for one, and met with a few. I didn't click with any of them. Until I talked with Gillian! We talked on the phone like we were old friends for over an hour! I knew she was the one who would be doing our wedding. We did our engagement photos in 2009, and have been using her ever since! From engagement and wedding, to babies and family photos she is the best! We now live three hours away but travel to only use her! Would absolutely recommend to anyone! You won't regret it.
