Dominic's father, Mike, worked as a wedding photographer for many years and passed the craft down to his son. Dominic has been documenting weddings for several years and loves getting to know the couples he works with. He prefers to work unobtrusively, wanting to capture each celebration's unique spirit without interruption.
Gilmer Filmer is available for local and destination weddings. Dominic is also happy to film engagement sessions, to commemorate the start of this new journey. On the day itself, he can work alongside a second videographer to make sure no detail goes unnoticed. His footage, which can include clips captured via drone, is edited into both full-length videos and highlight reels.

live on forever for us, and our teaser reel was enough to bring us and my family to tears. We couldn't have asked for a better person or videographer to entrust our day and some of our favorite memories with. From coming to our Airbnb for 'getting ready' shots, to drone footage at our venue, to being there from ceremony to our guests killing it on the dance floor - he got it ALL. So personable, communicative, and down to earth - he made us feel natural in front of the camera and will have us feeling like movie stars for the rest of our lives. If you're looking for a videographer, stop NOW and book Dom ASAP. We couldn't recommend him more and feel unbelievably lucky to have had him be a part of our day. ncredible. He was never in the way, always considerate, and was fun and creative when it came to different photo and video opportunities. The video he produced following the wedding included aerial footage that captured the beauty of the venue, slow motion scenes of the joy on people’s faces throughout the day, and great footage of the wedding party speeches. The visual effects and audio overlay were very professional and artistic. We cannot thank Dom enough and would recommend him at day of the week!
