From the moment we began our phone conversation with Maxx, I knew we'd found our wedding photographers. A few minutes later, Bre joined, and my husband and I were set - they were the ones. Maxx and Bre are fun and easygoing, but professional and passionate about what they do, with a great eye for interesting shots, locales, and unique ways to remember the experience. We're so thrilled that we found Maxx and Bre, and enjoyed every moment working with them. They not only went along with our traveling engagement shoot idea, but got just as excited and passionate about it as we were. And on the day of the wedding, they were just like another group of friends that we got to share our fantastic day with - who also happened to take awesome pictures. All this to say, I can't recommend these two enough, and I hope we have another chance to work with them!

Photographers are one of the most important wedding vendors in my opinion, and I couldn’t have been more pleased in what we found with Maxx and Bre. They are not only extremely talented at what they do, but they also made us feel so comfortable while taking our photos! I had a vision for our engagement photos, and knew I wanted a mountain landscape but didn’t know exactly where, and Maxx recommend the perfect spot. They also gave us ideas for outfits, and told us which colors to consider wearing that would photograph best with the setting, which was super helpful. When it came to our wedding pictures, I loved how much realness they captured of the day, and not a ton of awkward posed pictures. When I look back at our pictures it brings me right back to that moment, and they are so seriously so good at capturing the important memories. In addition, some of the detail photos they took ended up being some of my favorite pictures. I have recommended them, and will continue to recommend them for years to come! Thanks Maxx and Bre!!

We took a chance on Maxx and Bre, found them through Wedding wire and loved the work we saw! BEST decision we ever made! Their style was so unique/different from the cookie cutter wedding images you see so often. They are both so easy going and creative, brought so many ideas to the table! I had a vision and they nailed every detail of what I had imagined for my dream wedding! It was honestly like we were hanging with some of our friends....to this day my husband keeps saying we should call Maxx and Bre! That’s how much we miss our time together. It was just easy with them. The photos came just as promised....I get asked almost daily about my photos! They are unbelievable. I would recommend this couple to any future bride/grooms!

Maxx and Bre are AMAZING! Gin & July was actually the only photographer's that we spoke to because it felt so comfortable. We started with our engagement photos and had so much fun. We did some cute ones in Malibu and then got in the water, Maxx had this whole equipment setup and took underwater photos. When my dress started weighing me down and the waves got big, my wife and Maxx "rescued" me and made sure to have photographic evidence. Our wedding, now that was an adventure. We spent months planning a gorgeous wedding in Malibu, well... the fires hit the day before and we evacuated from our home and also our wedding venue! Our family was able to pull together a completely new wedding and Maxx and Bre did an amazing job of capturing all of it. They were so fun to be with, we felt super comfortable and of course, their flexibility in the midst of chaos was beyond incredible. We've received a bunch of our photos already, Maxx and Bre made sure we could get some out for the holidays. I can't wait to see the rest. They will definitely by the only photographers we will use going forward, so Maxx and Bre, get prepared in a couple years you're going to be doing some sickeningly adorable baby photos!

Maxx & Bre are the best!! My husband and I were sold on these two the minute we found their portfolio online, and they 100% delivered. As far as their photography goes they're in a class of their own. The shots they captured of our wedding weekend were creative, candid and expressive. They both have a keen eye for details, their images tell a story and it's CRAZY what they can do with light. When we look at the pictures from our wedding, we are taken right back to that week. They caught every special moment and all the funny ones too. As professionals, Maxx and Bre were incredible to work with. They were easy to get in touch with, very helpful, patient, flexible and most importantly a lot of fun. Aside from being brilliantly talented, they were a treat to be around and the perfect addition to our wedding. We did a family only destination wedding and those two fit right in. My husband and I will be forever grateful!!

I truly don’t have enough amazing things to say! We used Gin & July for both our engagement and wedding photography and I can not wait to have another life event to use them! Their talent and photography are everything! We were so overjoyed with Maxx and Bri. Beyond their talent, they are truly the most genuine, adventurous, fun, flexible, and professional people we could have had! So, these folks will be the best decision you make on your event. We live in KC and got married in San Clemente, so a lot of our decisions on who to hire were based on other peoples experiences. We lucked out on most everything, but I mean it when I say that Maxx and Bre will be the best thing that you will do. They will capture classic to artful shots. They are on time and dependable. I'd say we had "so much fun" with Maxx and Bre, but that's an incredible understatement and doesn't do the experience justice. I truly can't put it into words. From the moment we met this couple for our engagement shoot, we felt comfortable, at ease, and have gorgeous photos as a result. My fiance and I had the typical "we're so awkward we don't know how to do this" attitude, but within minutes, those nerves were gone and we have gorgeous photos as a result. There was a good balance of candid and "staged" photos that look incredibly natural- at one point, Maxx was trying to get us to do a certain pose and after a few failed attempts it was clear we couldn't see his vision- he showed us what he meant by staging it with Bre and it gave us that "ah-ha" moment we needed for the perfect shot. It felt more like a fun weekend activity with friends than a photo shoot- the amazing photos just seemed like an added bonus. Our family and friends are so impressed with the photos; they truly made us feel like movie stars- thanks Maxx and Bre!!

I would hire Maxx and Breanna in a heartbeat! I want to do another photoshoot because it was so enjoyable and comfortable to shoot with them. My fiancé and I have never done a photoshoot, so we thought our engagement session was going to be dull as we aren't usually in front of a lens. But Maxx and Breanna made this experience so easy, fun and comfortable for us. Not only was the photoshoot such an amazing experience, but their communication and professionalism through emails, requests and turnaround time was incredible. A+++++

We absolutely loved working with Maxx & Breanna. You often hear people say that "they didn't even know they were there" when reviewing wedding photographers.... we'd have to say the opposite, but in the best way. It was as if they were a part of the family. Not only are Maxx & Breanna professional, they are also naturals - making ourselves, our wedding party, and our guests feel so comfortable. We had a ton of fun and lots of laughs working with them, and it all shows in the beautiful memories they captured. Maxx & Breanna were perfectly detailed in their approach to capturing our special day. They spent hours scouting offsite locations to shoot the wedding party at, as well as getting to know the venue well ahead of time. They considered the lighting and time of day for all the different key moments to ensure they got the perfect shot. The post wedding follow up was timely and we received our edited photos in no time at all. Maxx did an amazing job on my wife and I's engagement photos. I had never done a photo shoot before but Maxx and his staff did a great job helping us feel comfortable and made the day fun and memorable. The pictures came out amazing and will last us a lifetime.
