I was so nervous on my wedding day, not as far as getting married, but walking down the aisle and having to be in front of so many people. I was also worried my hair wouldn't turn out because it doesn't curl easily. I cannot express what an amazing job April did on my two daughters' hair and makeup. She was so kind from the moment I met. She was so laid back and calming. She kept giving me pep talks and just made me feel better about the whole process. I almost cried when I seen my hair and makeup in the mirror, she did an outstanding job. She followed me around throughout all the pictures and fixed anything that was out of place and was just so kind throughout the whole process. She helped make my day perfect and I couldn't thank her enough for the amazing job she did.

We had a make up trial done which went great, I loved it! Paid extra for a travel fee because she came to the house. I was told the day of the trial, there would be 2 make up artis...
ts there for the wedding. Day of, we had 6 people getting make up done including the bride with only 1 make up artist. Bride was suppose to start at 12, it was a little before 11:30 and we were about to start the 4th person. Ended up being a hour late for pictures. The make up looked great for the first 2 and then after that started to rush. Eye shadow started to not be blended and eye lashes were falling off, 2 of the ladies had to remove eye shadow and lashes and do themselves. The bride’s make up looked great at the end but getting there was stressful. The make up for the day of the wedding was not the same as the trial which was frustrating. I was also told I would have a touch up kit (that I paid for) that was suppose to include foundation which did not. Also, lip gloss that I did received but unable to use due to the amount left. For the amount of money paid, I expected that we would not have to fix make up the day of.

As for the touch-up kit, it’s designed to include your lip color and other touch-up essentials, though it doesn’t include foundation. We’ll make sure this is even more clearly stated moving forward to avoid any confusion.
