The hotel where we had our wedding required us to hire a wedding planner and we’re a bit embarrassed to say now that we didn’t think a wedding planner was necessary. But we got a list of recommended wedding planners from the hotel and Gina Geiler of Gina Marie Events was the first one we met with via video call. We were going to meet with several of them but after that first meeting we both quickly agreed that Gina was the one for us. Suffice it to say that right off the bat Gina thought of so many things that weren’t even on our radar and then she proceeded to make everything as easy as possible for us and guided us pretty much seamlessly through the whole planning process. Her vendor recommendations were top notch and reasonably priced. The wedding weekend went perfectly and Gina worked herself to the bone on our wedding day. We received numerous compliments from our guests about Gina, which were well deserved. On many occasions we told our friends and family that the money we spent on Gina’s services was the best money we spent on the whole wedding. We highly recommend Gina and Gina Marie Events!

The day of the wedding, they ensured the flow from the ceremony to cocktail hour and reception ran exactly as we planned. Where do I begin?!?! To say hiring Gina for partial wedding planning was the best wedding planning decision we made would be putting it lightly. As a wedding planner myself I knew I needed a planner who would reel me in and take over so I could enjoy the process as a bride! Gina did just that. She heard our vision and ran with it. From design meetings to vendor selection she was imperative in every decision.  Gina went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly as we wanted, but she wasn't also afraid to be honest and open about what was feasible. As the planning went on I began to have decision fatigue and Gina took over. She knew what we wanted and we knew we could trust her to guide us to the vision we wanted within the budget we had set. No detail was left unturned. All the little details are what mattered to us most. They are what made the vision come to life. Her ideas were unique and designs we hadn't seen before which really excited us. On the weekend of our wedding Gina & her team were a part of 3 events. The Wedding Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, and Wedding Day. Having her with us all weekend long allowed us to really be present with our guests. We knew she had everything under control and would execute it perfectly for us. I am a very hands on person so leaving it all in the hands of her and just being in the moment was my entire goal of hiring Gina and her team and exactly that happened. All my husband, mom, and bridal party kept saying to me that they have never seen me so calm and carefree about an event and that's all thanks to Gina. I knew she had things under control and she did. Everything happened without a hitch or at least that I know of! Our guests were in awe of how smoothly the weekend flowed, and the compliments poured in. We had an amazing experience with Gina. She made sure not only that we stayed on schedule when we had to postpone the wedding an entire year but also that I was able to pull a little surprise for my now wife, a secret she kept for almost 2 years - HUGE props to her for that! Looking back there was simply no way that I could have done it without their expertise. My husband and I were originally planning on getting married in October, but I unexpectedly had to undergo major surgery and we were forced to cancel our wedding. We knew we would need help the second time around. The stress of planning a wedding during recovery seemed daunting. That’s where Gina came into our lives. She was our personal guardian angel. From the moment we met her, we knew she was special. She listened to our ideas and provided us with great suggestions that we would have never thought of on our own. Gina held our hands during the entire planning process. We loved how she embraced technology to organize and plan our wedding. Her website made it simple to access everything from the budget, guest list, vendor information, seating arrangements, and so much more. We were even provided virtual checklists to help keep us on task. Gina is probably the most detail oriented and organized professional that I have ever known, and all of our vendors would agree. They raved about Gina and her team the entire night, telling us that she was the best wedding coordinator that they ever had the pleasure of working alongside. As a bride on a budget, I really appreciated how Gina strived to make everything cost effective. When the estimate of flowers was a bit too pricey, Gina was on it. She worked with the florist to bring down the cost by a couple thousand dollars by repurposing the ceremony flowers and using more greenery and water features. It turned out beautiful! We really appreciated how Gina made herself available to us every second of our big day. She made sure that my husband and I were well fed and having fun the entire night. When my sister and mother couldn’t figure out how to bustle my dress, Gina took over and had it done looking beautiful in no time. When dirt mysteriously appeared on my train before the ceremony, Gina got on the floor with her shout wipes and tide pens to perform a last-minute miracle. Everything from the ceremony to the reception turned our perfect. It was beyond anything that I could have imagined on my own. I wanted a palm/beachy theme wedding and Gina gave us paradise. I remember walking into the ballroom completely stunned. It was incredible! The entire wedding night ran so smoothly, and all the vendors Gina recommended were phenomenal. It’s been nearly a month since our big day and our guests are still reaching out to tell us it was the best wedding they ever attended. We can’t express how grateful we are for everything Gina has done for us ❤

Hiring GME was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! After speaking to a few wedding planners, I had a good feeling about Gina and hired GME. First off, Gina is VERY organized and will keep the bride on track throughout the entire wedding process. I am very Type A and worried I would miss an important detail but it is almost impossible to forget or miss anything important with GME. They send out monthly reminders with things that need to be completed and deadlines. Another thing I loved about working with GME is that I could always set up a call or meeting to discuss anything - brides, this is very important because other planners I spoke to had a very defined and limited amount of meetings/calls they would allow as part of their services. I cannot imagine having only 2-3 meetings with an event planner when there is SO much to discuss! Wedding planning became more challenging when my work life became a lot busier, especially the weeks leading up to the wedding. I was worried I would not be able to reach out to Gina as much or keep up with emails. But Gina went out of her way to make sure we could continue communicating whenever it worked best for me, even if sometimes she had to be flexible with her own schedule, which I very much appreciated! Leading up to the wedding, Gina handled all communication with vendors. This might seem like a small detail but it was HUGE because it is not easy to keep up with emails with 10+vendors at once, especially towards the last few weeks. Gina coordinated everything and if there is anything that went wrong during the wedding day, I did not even find out because in my experience on my wedding day, everything went SO smooth! But I TRULY realized how much EVERYONE needs a wedding planner/coordinator once the big day arrived. It is physically impossible to be a bride and try to be everywhere all at once. The day of the wedding I did not have to lift a finger. Gina took care of EVERYTHING (coordinating, setting up the things I had DIY’d on my own, making sure every other vendor was doing their job, etc). The best part is that at the end of the night, GME also took care of packing up everything that was mine including everything I had DIY’d, which I was not expecting (this is a service that some planners don’t have or that they charge extra for)! I had the luxury of enjoying my wedding day and at the end of the night, I was able to attend my after party without having to worry about picking anything up because GME did it all! Additionally, Gina has a great eye and I had VERY big dreams. I wanted a fairytale wedding. Gina was always very supportive of my ideas and tried to work with me as best as she could while still advising me on budget and giving me recommendations based off her prior experiences. Needless to stay, I got a fairytale wedding and I am still in awe of how beautiful everything came together. I was very nervous about certain aspects of the decor, especially about having a reception with a tent (I was afraid it would look tacky) but I ended up trusting Gina and it honestly turned out to be the most beautiful wedding and even more gorgeous tent reception I have ever seen. It looked like it came straight out of a Pinterest board and it would not have been possible without Gina’s support. I was not an easy bride to work with and I am so thankful for her patience with me throughout this process! I highly recommend Gina and the GME team for all wedding planning events!

We booked Gina for the 3 months leading up to our wedding, however, Gina was helpful from the first day we booked her 9 months prior. She is beyond knowledgeable, calm and friendly. Where do I even begin?? To put it very simply, choosing Gina Marie Events for full-service planning was hands down the BEST decision I made for our wedding (besides my husband, of course).  Gina has just the right talent, experience, organization, and creative vision and I knew she was a perfect match from our very first call. I had a pretty specific picture of what I wanted for our wedding, but needed help bringing it to life and balancing it on top of a full-time job all the way from NYC.  Gina went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly as we wanted, (each of her vendor recommendations beyond exceeded my expectations) but she wasn't also afraid to be honest and open about what was feasible (especially when it came to budget) and came up with creative solutions when my initial idea was (in hindsight) completely bonkers.   Just when I thought Gina couldn't get any more amazing, then our actual wedding day came.  I had been pretty hands on throughout the planning process, but the main reason I made the decision to invest in a wedding planner was so that we (including our wedding guests) could enjoy the day.  I was SO calm on our wedding day (too calm if you ask my closest friends and family lol because they know my neurotic tendencies when planning a party) and honestly it was because I knew all the work we had done leading up to this day had prepared us, and that I 100000% trusted Gina to execute the plan plus make any on-the-spot decisions.  My husband and I still talk about how PERFECT this day went and we couldn't have done it without Gina & her team. I miss our monthly calls and checklists, Gina let's do it again!!!

We cannot recommend Gina enough! She was amazing throughout the whole process! We are military and live in DC but had no problem planning the wedding from afar. We went with her wedding management service and found our own vendors but were able to consult Gina through every step! She gave us such helpful and honest insight as we made each of our decisions and she took charge in contacting our vendors and verifying details for us. Every question we had she answered right away and we truly felt like she was invested in our best interest to make sure our wedding was a dream day! She is so organized from the way she schedules all of our calls and answers emails right away to all of the resources and planning timelines she provided for us to easily reference and work on. The weeks leading up to the wedding she took over with all of the vendors and timeline and confirmed everything with them. Everyone would ask us if we were stressed but we were not because everything was taken care of! From the rehearsal through the end of the wedding day Gina and her team were on top of everything. The wedding day went so smoothly as she guided us through all the different parts of the day and we were able to fully be present and enjoy the moment. When my bustle came undone she was like don't worry I got this and fixed it all up! Afterwards all of my guests commented on how well the event flowed and what a great job Gina did running the show; being prepared with anything you might need in all of her pockets and took her job seriously being so well prepared. I was honored to have such a strong woman as part of my team on our wedding day! Thanks to Gina our day was absolutely magical!!

Gina was personable, diligent, responsive and just simply "on top of it." She didn't miss a single beat or detail. My wife and I were reminiscing today and looking back at our wedding photos from Jan 2021. We were remembering how we tried to skip on a wedding planner to save on overall cost and how happy we are that we didn't stick to that plan. With our minds busy on a hundred different tasks just a couple months before our wedding we found ourselves overwhelmed and accepted that we needed help. We hired Gina, afraid we hesitated for too long. Gina was was our MVP!!!! She took on the challenge and walked us through nailing every detail down to a tee. I couldn't believe how amazing she was helping us get prepared and then orchestrating the show on the day of... like JLo in the Wedding Planner, but better. She and her team were ninja's. At one point, I was doing my thing on the dance floor and felt one of my critical bobby pins come loose. 1.5 seconds later one of the team swooped in behind me and pushed it right back in, then disappeared back into the crowd. I was truly impressed. Knowing what we know now, we would pay twice as much as we did for Gina. She and her team are worth every penny.

Gina went above and beyond on the day of our wedding and in the months leading up to it. Her vendor recommendations were amazing, and our wedding day looked like a dream. Her friendly and sweet nature really calmed us down and even my friends could not stop raving about how organized she was. There were some problems that came up during the wedding but Gina gracefully solved all of them. Gina made sure everything ran smoothly. I did not know that you NEED a planner until I met her.

Gina was awesome. The relief in having her CC’d on countless emails, asking questions to vendors we never would have thought of, and mapping everything out for us in a share drive and Excel was incredibly helpful. The day of, she made sure everyone stuck to the schedule, took the stress out of an otherwise stressful day, handled any day-of issues with vendors, and she even noticed my groomsmen and I were missing our yarmulkes right before walking down the aisle and ran to pick up and distribute them… our hero!! Seriously, Gina was great to work with, could not imagine our big day without her.

Her job a big one, and institutional to planning! While I can admit, hiring a wedding planner was initially an expense we were going to forgo, I can tell you, hiring you Gina, was the single most important thing we did! It would have been one of our biggest regrets not hiring Gina. Once we had our initial contact call over the phone, I told my husband, WE NEED GINA!!! Her personality, happiness, knowledge and professionalism are second to none!! From dealing with crappy vendors, talking me off a ledge for a potential Cat 5 storm and having our wedding cancelled, again, to making a personal stop at our house to help lessen our load of things to bring to the venue the week of our wedding, she never hesitated to go above and beyond for us. Her love for her work and your clients shines bright and it doesn't go unnoticed. Seeing Gina in action handling some of our issues and getting her point across on our behalf was admiring to be a part of. This is important to any couple getting married as this alleviates A LOT from your plate while planning and preparing for your wedding. Trust me, there are details which will be overlooked or not understood. Gina was able to provide a clear constructed vision for our wedding along with her opinions and was always able to communicate this to our other contracted vendors. She stepped in the lead role to host meetings, walk throughs, and always made my husband and I comfortable in communicating with her. Whenever we had a question or concern, Gina was always extremely responsive and understanding. We are without a doubt indebted to Gina and her team for making sure our wedding was a dream!

I cannot recommend Gina and her team enough! We could not have pulled off our rehearsal dinner, welcome event, and wedding without her. Gina was recommended to me through my photographer, and I liked her immediately. She was thorough, organized, and responsive throughout the planning process. I connected with Gina about five months before my wedding and opted for her wedding management package as I'd already secured most of my vendors and had a pretty clear vision for my wedding. This package was perfect for me as I really needed someone to keep me organized, maintain contact with all of my vendors, and most importantly create and manage the timeline for the weekend. Three months out from my wedding, she took all of my contracts and invoices that I had secured up to that point and became the main point of contact for my vendors. It was very important to me that I stayed in the loop on the conversations and decisions, but she managed all of the nitty gritty details. She attended my final vendor and venue walkthroughs which was critical in making sure all of the final details were set. There were a lot of small decisions and questions that she gave me guidance on that I never would have known if I was doing this myself. I always felt like she understood our vision as a couple for what we wanted and was always on the same page as us. The weekend of my wedding, she was there to manage all of the set up and timeline of the day, really allowing me to be in the moment with my family and friends and not worry about adjustments or logistics. Her services exceeded my expectations from start to finish - she literally loaded the bus at the end of the night with all of my purchased items (signs, table #s, cards etc.) I highly recommend hiring GME for your wedding weekend!! I cannot recommend GME enough! Gina is like the fairy god mother of wedding planners. Because of her our wedding was the best it could have ever been. It truly felt magical. Gina genuinely takes pride in her work and loves what she does. When looking to hire a wedding planner we looked for someone who was organized, efficient, and had an eye for design. Gina was all of these things (and not to mention an incredibly kind human). Throughout the entire planning process, I never had to worry. Whenever we were faced with a problem I’d tell my significant other “It’s fine, Gina will handle it” and she always did so efficiently and professionally. On the day of our wedding, we had a sudden change in weather forecast resulting in us needing to change the location of the reception and put up a tent. From the start Gina put me at ease. I am very organized and like to have all the details figured out for everything , but with working two jobs and all that goes into planning a wedding it was way too much for me to handle. I felt comfortable after meeting with Gina, and enjoy the process more. I was not originally looking for a planner! I did so much research and really thought I could handle it all. Initially, planning wasn’t too bad. I had my detailed excel spreadsheet, Pinterest boards, and folders with all information. But there is so much more that goes into organizing and planning. There would be no chance our day would have gone as smoothly if it wasn’t for Gina and her assistant, Rachel.  Even though all my focus was on the wedding, various aspects of life required attention. She helped take a significant amount of stress away. The weekend of, many things (out of our control ) occurred. We even were surprised with a tornado warning a few hours before the wedding! I did not stress or worry once. The whole day was a fairytale and way more than we could have ever wanted. If you are on the fence, do it. It’s your day and you deserve it!

Gina is the best wedding planner of all time. We mean it. We knew hiring a wedding planner was going to be helpful and necessary but we had no idea it could be this good. Gina made us feel like we were her only clients. She answered all our questions quickly and went out of her way to help us with vendor referrals and solutions to problems we came across during the planning. She has incredible taste in design and process and beautifully balanced helping to support our vision while also giving honest feedback based on her expertise when she felt something could be done a better way. Throughout the planning process, it quickly became clear that Gina had everything under control and she could confidently handle any issues we came across. On the day of the wedding, we had two major hiccups with vendors: our security company was MIA and our flowers were the wrong colors (both issues unrelated to Gina’s amazing planning). She solved them both efficiently and calmly. We were so struck by how effective she communicated these issues to us without adding stress on us and confidently reassuring us that she had it handled. In addition to this, she is a person we genuinely wanted to be around. She’s easy to talk to, relaxed, and has a commanding presence that makes you feel secure and confident that you are in good hands. Her team of assistants were just as professional and helpful as she was. They each went out of their way to make our wedding the best it could be. After the wedding, while reminiscing about how amazing the day was, we kept saying to each other , “wow thank goodness for Gina.” We could not be bigger fans and can’t recommend her and her team enough. We would trust Gina to plan our wedding a millions times over.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Gina and her team are! We hired Gina for her full service and that was the best decision we made during the entire wedding planning process. I could not have imagined going through the wedding planning process without her. Gina is extremely detail oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in her field. Our wedding was on the West coast of Florida and Gina is on the East Coast, but that did not make a difference in the quality of her service and knowledge of the industry/vendors in the area. Like many others, we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid. This decision was devastating but Gina walked us through every step, contacted all our vendors, got all new contracts and made it seem like the smoothest process. She makes the wedding planning process stress free and thinks of every little detail, things I never even knew we needed to think about. She makes sure you stick to your budget while still trying to meet your every hope & desire for your special day. Our wedding day was the most magical day and it was all thanks to Gina and her team. I will never forget the reveal to our reception space before all our guests entered and seeing the vision we had for our wedding day come to life. My friend Patrice had used Gina to help plan her Miami wedding in 2 months after she was forced to cancel her Italy wedding. Oh, my goodness, I do not even know where to start with this review. After two postponements due to COVID, we were finally able to re-schedule my daughter’s wedding with a change in venue and 100 less people. Our new venue suggested I get a day of the event planner. I had no idea what that was or even knew I needed one, but boy, we sure did! After interviewing three possible companies, I chose Gina Marie Events. After speaking with Gina, she had all the right questions and answers since I had no idea what to ask and I just knew she was the one for us. With our vendor contracts already in place, she took over all the details, confirming, arranging, scheduling, re-confirming and her timelines were spot on! Such attention to details, (even things I did not even think of), she was on it. From picking up the wedding favors and decoration for the venue, attending rehearsal and wrangling the wedding party through the procession a couple of times. I do not even know how many times she went back and forth between the hotel and venue the day of, but all I know is she made the day effortless. We had one issue with the bride’s bouquet, and she was on it, she called the florist, and they were back fixing it long before pictures were taken. I could go on and on of all things she did, well worth it and more! I cannot even begin to express our gratitude to Gina and her staff for a perfect day! She is truly the Best!

Gina was the absolute BEST! From months leading up to our wedding to the tiniest of details on wedding day, Gina made sure everything was perfect. She made wedding planning a breeze. She made sure every detail from the flowers to the food were perfect and exactly what we wanted. Hiring GME for our wedding was the greatest decision we have ever made! Gina went above and beyond for us in every way possible. From the moment we met, she was all in. Gina had been planning with us for the past year. With every question and problem she always had the solution. I have never met someone who is so confident and capable in their profession.
