My pricing is not a reflection of a lack of talent or experience. I have been a photographer for more than 37 years, and I have had the profound honor of stepping into people's most meaningful moments and preserving them forever.
I'm Gina May Brown, a documentary wedding and engagement photographer based in Pulaski, TN, serving Nashville, Tennessee, and couples everywhere who believe their love story deserves more than a hard drive full of forgotten files.
I picked up a camera because I understood early on that moments are fragile. They arrive quietly, they move quickly, and if no one is paying attention, they disappear. My job — my calling — is to pay attention. To blend into your day so completely that you forget I'm there, and then to deliver images that take you right back to exactly how everything felt.
My approach is documentary at heart. No stiff poses, no forced smiles, no rigid shot lists. Just light, timeless, beautifully candid images of your real love story unfolding naturally. I shoot with a soft, airy aesthetic that feels as alive thirty years from now as it does today.
What sets me apart goes beyond style. Every single image I deliver has been personally edited by me, one at a time. I don't use AI culling or batch editing shortcuts. Your story deserves real eyes, real care, and real intention at every step of the process. I keep my calendar intentionally small so that every couple I work with receives my whole heart — not a fraction of it.

A lot of “About Me” pages share how they wanted to be a (insert their career) since they were young. That is not my story. I had no idea I wanted to be a photographer until I became one. Though I loved taking pictures (mostly of nature and things only I found interesting) I never envisioned it being something I could make a living by doing.

It was hard for me to understand at the time, but I have come to realize each season we walk through has a purpose and plan. Whether it is a job change, a move, the death of a loved one, or other challenges and changes, seasons are a reality of life. Each season brings different emotions, offers opportunities to grow, and teaches us a new life lesson.
