Gina's Bridal Boutique

Gina's Bridal was my first ever wedding dress shopping experience, and I am so glad I went here first! Gina was my consultant and shared a pre-visit survey to gauge what types of dresses I was interested in. Not having a dream dress/wedding growing up, I wanted to try anything and everything! Gina pulled such a great selection to get me started, and pulled more dresses as my visit went on based on my feedback, plus my moms and matron of honor. Her boutique is the cutest setting and provides such great space, even if other girls are trying on dresses or browsing at the same time. The fitting rooms and decorations were spot on! I ended up selecting the first dress I ever tried on and am so grateful! My girls fell in love with it, but being unsure with myself, I went on to visit various other places in Metro Detroit and back where I live in Wisconsin. I returned when I kept comparing every other dress to that very first one! I'm so thrilled with how it turned out -- it truly was the perfect dress for me. Hands down, Gina's Bridal provides the absolute best experience, options, and price ranges. Gina and her staff were fantastic throughout all of my fittings, too, and made me feel and look like a queen. I also was interested in purchasing a bridal headpiece during my second fitting, but unfortunately it was broken. During the fitting, not only did she make it functional, but she lent it to me for my consequent hair and makeup trial! It worked out perfectly and I ordered one for my big day. So kind! If you're in the market for a wedding dress, go to Gina's first! Would give 6 out of 5 stars if it were possible. Thanks again!

Gina’s Bridal Boutique is a cute bridal shop with so many dress selections. Gina is so sweet and her staff were wonderful to work with! I had my alterations done in house and they were skillful in creating my train bussle. Every time I walked in I felt welcomed. I received so many compliments on my dress and I love my dress so much I want to wear it everyday!

I loved going to Gina’s! Growing up in Milford, I always would pick my favorite dress in their window displays. I always knew I wanted to go there to pick out my dress when I got married. Gina’s did not disappoint. Cinnamon helped me, and she was completely fabulous. She was attentive and listened to what I was looking for, and also pulled other options that I would not have tried on, but liked. I ended up finding my dress here, but currently live in Virginia. They were so sweet and sent it to me so that I didn’t have to travel back to Michigan to get it. I would totally recommend this store to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

I waited sometime to write this review until my anger and frustration subsided. Man, I would NOT recommend this store to brides. After browsing when I saw a dress on the racks I was excited about, I was even more excited because the sample was for sale! After trying it on and being so excited I found the one, I noticed the sales lady was hiding the sample sale tag I saw and proceeded to tell me about the process of ordering the dress without ever presenting buying the sample as a option. I listened and then asked well what about this (pointing to the sample itself), I saw its for sale. She responded no no you don't want to do that, flustered that I had caught her in the hiding...she went on to explain that alterations will be so much that I should buy new. I tried to believe the best and that she was truly looking out for me. as a first time wedding dress shopper, I trusted her and went ahead with a new dress - mistake #1 My sweet mother encouraged me to do the alterations at the store, saying that out of respect for them helping you find this dress, I should give them my business - mistake #2 Came in months later for the first alteration fitting...the sales women I worked with and the alterer were super short and wouldn't make conversation with me or eye contact. Come to find out it was most likely because they knew the dress alterations were horrid. The straps wouldn't lay or stay on my arms and no joke couldn't lift my arms, it also was really uncomfortable. I tried to remain my composure thinking maybe I'm just over reacting. When my mom and I asked about the bulging parts by boobs they were both extremely rude and said we will give you some tape...seriously?! I wish I would've question their work more, but I never get things altered so I really was clueless and felt so taken advantage of...300 dollars later I took the dress to 2 different alteration stores to get second options... 1st store: said Gina's hacked this dress that he'd never seen anything like it and that the seams on the dress that are suppose to be under my armpits, were completely moved in front by the side of my boobs and that was why it was so uncomfortable and why I couldn't lift my arms. He concluded that instead of paying to fix it id be better off finding a new dress...my wedding was 4 weeks away!! I was so sad and frustrated I loved this dress 2nd store: said the same thing, that they'd never seen anything like it but that they could try their best to make this lay flat but the not being able to raise your arms they couldn't fix because Gina's took too much fabric Praise God the 2nd store for $100 was able to fix it as best they could ...$400 total in alterations please do not purchase or alter your dress here. I felt used and taken advantage of. this store caused so much unnecessary stress. SO wish I would've gone with the nudge I had to go elsewhere when the sales women hid the sample tag:( grateful for the knot so I can warn other girls

Every single person working at Gina's put so much effort into making brides feel special and will do what it takes to accommodate. They are truly a staff that loves their jobs and cares about their customers!

I love Gina's! I got my wedding dress here, as well as my husband's suit and my mother's dress for the wedding. We were beyond pleased with everything! The entire staff is super friendly and accommodating, and they always remember you by name when you walk in. When I first started looking for my dress, I worked with Cinnamon, who is absolutely amazing! She listened to what I liked/disliked in a dress and pulled options to show me. I landed on the one I loved very quickly. She was very upbeat and fun throughout the whole process. I also worked with Gina quite a bit, and she was just as wonderful! She was very helpful and friendly and would answer any questions that we had. I never felt rushed during my experiences at Gina's. We worked with Tony when shopping for a suit, and he is very knowledgeable and professional. We were very happy with what we chose, and it was very affordable as well. The seamstress altered all of our pieces perfectly. My dress fit like it was made for me. Overall, Gina's is the place to buy your formal wear. I visited a couple of other dress shops in the area and never encountered anything close to Gina's. At Gina's, you feel like the only customer even though they have multiple customers. It has a home town feel and the fact that they remember you and seem genuinely happy for you makes all the difference. They made dress shopping an easy, fun experience. We got married out of state and they made sure to have our dresses and suit ready with plenty of time to spare before we left for our trip. I could go on and on about how wonderful they are! Gina’s Bridal Boutique is the best! The entire staff is extremely warm and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and at ease from the first moment I walked in the door. They listened to what I was looking for and even offered suggestions that were outside my comfort zone without the pressure felt at other bridal salons. They are very knowledgeable and offer suggestions that can totally transform the look of a dress. The selection of dresses, veils and accessories was amazing. Each trip here, from shopping to fittings to preservation was a delight. The staff is so personable and remembered me every time I came in. I am so thankful I was able to find my dress here! I cannot recommend them enough!!

This was one of the first places I went to. The staff was very warm and welcoming when myself and my bridal crew came in to look at wedding gowns. The boutique is very clean and has a fresh feeling. There gown selections are beautiful. They have amazing designers for there wedding gowns. I highly recommend this place even though I found my wedding dress somewhere else.

Absolutely in love with Gina's Boutique! From the adorable boutique feel, to the amazing service from the staff...I HIGHLY recommend Gina's for all your dreams to come true! Since I had to travel from Minnesota for fittings, the seamstress and staff stayed late due to my flight times. Not to mention, I loved my dress! I got tons of compliments and felt like a princess on our big day. What are you waiting for?! Go to Gina's to find your dream dress!!!

I can not recommend Gina’s boutique enough! They made finding the perfect dress so easy! I went in with a different vision in mind and I’m so glad they recommended the dress they did. I got so many compliments on my dress and so many people said they’ve never seen anything like it. I absolutely love my dress and wish I could wear it again! Alterations were easy and perfect! I have also gotten a bridesmaid dress from Gina’s and they have such a great selection and they are so interactive with bridesmaid dress shopping (unlike a lot of bridal shops!) it is great!

Gina’s Bridal was the perfect place for me to purchase my dress. I went dress shopping there with my mom and dad as they live in Milford; it was originally supposed to be an appointment where I figured out what style of dress I liked before we went shopping where I live in Chicago. I was blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff and while trying on dresses I found my dream dress. Throughout the process of ordering and alterations, they were very accommodating to me being out of town and gave me the best dress ever! I was really nervous that I would not love my dress but Gina’s made sure that I did. Definitely recommend going there!

I love Gina’s for their welcoming atmosphere, their friendly and knowledgeable staff, their beautiful dresses, and above all – their inclusivity. They are one of the few bridal stores in the metro Detroit area that carry plus-size sample sizes. And most importantly, they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about my size when I was trying on dresses. Instead, they made me feel special and beautiful. They took excellent care of my dress through the alternation process and always had it pressed and waiting for me in a dressing room when I came in for my fittings. They patiently trained my mom on how to fasten up the back of my dress and how to do my bustle, and let us keep coming in until the training stuck. I highly recommend Gina’s to anyone on the search for The Dress.

I looked at over 50 wedding dresses and 4 wedding shops and Gina's was the absolute best!! Very friendly and super nice! They help you EVERY step of the way :) I would recommend Gina's to every bride out there because they are simply amazing !!!!!

Ordered my bridesmaids dresses from here and got my wedding dress hemmed here! Gina is great, I love their new larger location. The whole staff is super helpful and they have a great selection.

Not the biggest selection, but a little of everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very budget friendly, they said their most expensive gown was $2700, every one I tried on was under $1500.

Had a great time finding my dream dress at Gina's! My saleswomen, Cinnamon, was beyond amazing in making sure that I felt comfortable while selecting a dress, putting them all on, and gave me plenty of options for additional dresses. She had such a great attitude and never pressured me into any dresses I had on. I had a large group of 8 people with me and staff was super accommodating for all of us. They do have a smaller selection, but it worth looking through as many of the dresses are of great quality.

Worst seamstress ever. So I got my bridesmaid dress from Gina’s. I’m 5’7”, so the sales person suggested I get extra length to my dress for an additional $20. I agreed and got it. I pick up my dress and it is absolutely massive. Too big and long. I come back a few days later to get two bridesmaid dresses altered, and the staff couldn’t have been more rude. They acted like I was a complete inconvenience to them. They charged me $215 for the alterations of two dresses. I asked why it was so much and they said it was “standard.” I would have left and gone to my normal seamstress, but she was on vacation and I didn’t want to risk my dress not being ready in time. When I came back for the final fitting, my dress from Gina’s was still massive in the bust! The seamstress said it was fine and would be more comfortable. I really regret taking her word on it. The dress was so big that I could take it off without unzipping it! I needed 3 safety pins for it to stay up the whole wedding day. Absolutely unacceptable service, especially considering how expensive alterations were… I’m engaged and previously considered looking for dresses at Gina’s, but I will never give them another penny. Horrible experience. Will tell everyone I know NOT to go there!

This is the place you need to get your dress! Makes you feel like you become part of there family. Remembers you from day 1 and wishes nothing but the best for you! Also got my bridesmaid dresses from here as well and got me the exact color in the dress I wanted even though the dress didn't actually come in that color! Absolutely amazing I definitely recommend going there!

I found my wedding dress with the 2nd one I tried on! They were so helpful and accommodating. They helped me through the whole process since I bought a floor sample. They gave great recommendations for a dry cleaners and even put my mind at ease about any issues that might happen with my dress. Cinnamon was great! She is generally interested in your whole story. I just loved working with them!

Gina's is a comfortable, full-service bridal shop that will help you get the dress of your dreams! I found a dress that I loved at a different bridal shop, but I wanted to alter it quite a bit, and they were very unhelpful in recommendations. They also wouldn't budge on price at all. I had an appointment at Gina's to try on other gowns, and at one point we were referencing the first dress, and they told me that they could sell me the dress for the price I was looking for. I felt like they truly cared that I get the dress I wanted. They altered it with true craftsmanship and never made me feel like what I wanted was unachievable. Go to Gina's! You will not be disappointed.

This very cute bridal boutique was everything I wanted out of my dress shopping experience. From the moment I walked into the door I felt like I was a special bride. I was having a hard time find my dream dress and this was my last store before I was going to take a break! I found two dresses that I liked and when I put the dress I ended up buying on, and it a tint of pink and not the neck line I thought I would be in, they told me that those things could be changed and I fell in love! They had dresses that were simple and unique compared to other dress shops I went to, and the dresses were reasonably priced! Not only did I get my dress there but they also offer Tux rentals! They were one of the only stores that carried Navy tuxes! The alterations were perfect as well! I want to wear my dress all the time I love it so much!

I wanted to use my mom's wedding dress for my wedding, so we brought it in to Gina's and they were so excited from the moment I told them what I wanted to do! Everyone was so nice and easy to work with. I had several different fittings to make sure the dress was coming out the way I envisioned and that everything fit well. Each fitting went very smooth, and my mom and I were so happy with how the dress ended up. I have had many compliments on the dress from all guests, and plan on preserving it just like my mom had done!

Could not have had a better experience. My niece came from out of state especially to shop at Gina's. On previous visits we would drive past and say "One day we will shop there." Well last week was that day. The entire appointment was everything we could have hoped. The shop is so cute, the gowns are gorgeous but the best part was Gina and her family. We felt so special the entire time we were there.

Ginas bridal is amazing!! All the staff are so nice and helpful! Gina goes above and beyond to get you your dream dress and anything to go with it. Everyone there makes you feel like part of the family! I recommend Gina's bridal to everyone!

Look at other review sites. They don't call. However, they said they did, but couldn't tell me what number they were calling. They upcharged at the end (or rather the seamstress they claim). Received a "friendly tap?" on the back of my head on the way out. Didn't find it appropriate. Owner stated she is always attacked or grabbed and doesn't make a big deal of it. Good for her, but I respect my rights for unwanted touch. Last but not least, if anything is wrong, they point to the seamstress and point out it's a third party vendor. Food for thought.

I can not say enough good things about Gina's boutique and the staff. Gina's was the first place I went to on my journey to find the perfect dress for my upcoming wedding. My first visit l walked in without an appointment, only to browse. Of coarse, the second I walked in I spotted an absolutely stunning gown that took my breath away. The girls immediately started removing the gown from the mannequin for me to try on (without an appointment!) Lucky me, there was NO doubt in my mind, this was THE dress!!! I did go to several other boutiques that day, only to walk in and out without finding anything comparable to Ginas. The staff is so supportive and accommodating, not to mention genuinely caring and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a "one of a kind" gown with a personable experience

Although I did not find my dress at Gina's, I wanted to write a review based on my experience there. Cinnamon, (not sure of the spelling of her name), was one of the nicest sales consultants I have ever dealt with. She truly made me feel so special, like I was a VIP bride! I came with a large group and she was so accommodating to us. The reason I chose to come to Gina's first is because I had originally thought that I wanted a lace dress, (which is mostly what they have in their store), and after trying on so many lace dresses, my group and I decided that satin actually looked best on me. They had a few satin gowns but not the one for me so I ended up purchasing a dress elsewhere. However, I still give Gina's 5 stars because of their customer service and I would still recommend the store to anyone!

I got my bridesmaid dresses from Gina's bridal and I had such a great experience. Gina is awesome to work with and very accommodating. Everyone loved the dresses too!

Amazing selection of dresses!!!

Although the shop is really cute, I found that there wasn't a very large selection of dresses and most of them looked very similar. My consultant was nice, but fairly lackluster and didn't seem very interested in helping me find what I wanted. The experience was fairly disappointing.

Gina's bridal is amazing in every way. The staff is the most friendly and helpful staff that I encountered during my wedding dress shopping. They were energetic and had the best ideas and always made me feel super comfortable. They were honest and gave the best opinions and ideas on everything and were able to joke around with me and my crazy friends. I could not have been more pleased with my experience! No dress shop was as fun or comfortable as it was there!

This review is for the 3 bridesmaids dresses I had purchased. to make things clear I did not get my wedding dress from this shop. First there is no service unless you make an appointment. If you simply walk into the shop to browse you are ignored. Second the dresses will get in within 3-4 months and possibly then show up in 6 weeks so the timing of your appointments will be screwed up no matter what you try to plan ahead for. Third the alterations are a fraud. Not only did they not change the dresses as they were suppose to, they charged almost as much as the dress cost for the alterations that did nothing. Their seamstress makes nothing but excuses and cannot do her job right. Luckily I had ladies with seamstress backgrounds at the wedding that were able to salvage the day for me. The money isn't worth your struggle and the problems aren't worth your time. Avoid this place like the plague and find yourself a descent seller and a much better seamstress.

I rented all my tuxedos from Gina's Bridal. Everyone there was extremely helpful and did everything to make sure my wedding day went off without a hitch. Tony and Gina took care of any problems that came up during the fitting and on the day of my wedding very quickly. I also purchased my flower girl's dress from there too. I would recommend them for tuxedo rental for any event.

I LOVE Gina's! Everyone there is so nice and really helpful. They remembered me every time I came in for fittings and seemed genuinely excited for me and my special day. They have some really pretty dresses and I would recommend them to everyone!

This was the 4th and final place I went to find a wedding dress. I found exactly what I wanted and it was on clearance - off the rack. A few alterations needed to be made, and there was a swap in alterations employees, but everything turned out great. The alterations lady ensured that everything fit perfectly and that I was comfortable with the bustle and overall fit of the dress.

They were fantastic at Gina's. Great dresses at a lot of different price points. Everyone was so helpful and nice as well. I must have tried on a ton of dressed but they didn't mind at all! They just wanted me to find the perfect dress. They also did my bridesmaids and my rehearsal dinner dress!! Highly recommend them!

Gina's Bridal Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with. I found my dress in a matter of minutes. They had a wide variety of dresses to choose from. I have never been to a boutique as nice as Gina's, they really made me feel special! Every girl deserves a shopping experience like the one I had at Gina's.

Gina's is a cute little boutique with a great selection of dresses and wonderful staff. The store was an hour away from where I lived but was worth the drive. I never felt pressured when trying on dresses and they were super helpful in the selection process. They give every bride individual attention and make her feel like she is the only one in the store. I ordered my dress well in advance of my wedding date, and they held the dress there for me until my day. No extra charge for it! They ordered my dress size based on what the designer recommended but I lost a substantial amount of weight before my wedding. Their seamstress Paula was wonderful and my dress fit like a glove on my wedding day! I can't say enough good things about the women at Gina's they are wonderful and I highly recommend a stop in their shop if you are looking for your dress, or dresses for your girls!

Gina and crew were extremely accommodating and patient with me and my bridesmaids. I absolutely loved my dress and the prices at their shop! It has the feel of a high end boutique but with affordable prices and the dresses are beautiful. I could not have been happier.

Gina's boutique is top of the line! All the staff are more than accommodating! They were absolutely wonderful! They have everything from classical to trendy styles in their shop. Very reasonably priced. And some beautiful jewelry also. I bought all of my wedding jewelry there actually! This shop gave me a very memorable experience, it was so personal and special. And Paulita- who does alterations....what can I say....she is amazing...that's an understatement! My dress was perfect! And done on short notice- which they didn't even blink an eye at. Over-accommodating! Gina personally called me to reassure me. I would recommend them 100% to everyone. They have beautiful bridesmaid dresses as well. It is a beautiful boutique with beautiful staff. I'm so in love with this shop in beautiful downtown Milford!

First of all, the place is adorable and that makes it a lot more fun to try on dresses. They had a great selection with a lot of different price points. I ended up picking out my dress that day and ordering it. The dress came in on time and I used the alterations lady Paulita. She was expensive, but completley worth it, my dress looked amazing the day of my wedding! So happy I chose to get my dress from Gina's! everyone was so nice there.

My consultant was Trina and she was absolutely fantastic. She ended up finding the dress for me based on what I had liked out of the ones that I picked out at first. I also got my veil there. So happy with my dress!

Beatiful dresses and wonderful staff!

I honestly cannot thank the sales team at Gina's enough for helping me find my beautiful dress, and ESPECIALLY for helping me get it on time! I had a great experience trying on all the dresses, and I was pleasantly surprised at the fantastic prices for the beautiful gowns in the store. When I finally found 'the one,' everyone was so excited! However, as my wedding date was less than six months away, there was a "chance" that my dress wouldn't be able to be shipped in time, and I wouldn't know for two days (until the designer shop was open). All the ladies expressed to me that they would pull every string and say every prayer as I walked out the door, and they absolutely did, because my dress arrived with weeks to spare. I was so touched that every time I called, the person answering the phone knew me and could answer my questions - but usually one of them called me first :) All-in-all, the experience was just fantastic. And the icing on the cake is that my alterations could be done by Paulina, as she was right next door and they could coordinate easily. If you live in Michigan, you should absolutely look for your gown here!
