Ginger Rose

Ginger Rose was the first vendor I booked after being recommended her services by the Piedmont Room. Alyssa is so incredibly talented and made the process of both planning and bringing the vision of the florals for our May wedding to life. After having our initial call and sending over my mood board, we discussed the vibe and feel we wanted for the day. When I said I wanted whimsical, fairy garden vibes with bright pops of lavender, blue and yellow, she DELIVERED! It truly felt like she took all the ideas swirling in my brain and brought them to life in a more magical way than I could have ever envisioned. The whole week leading up to the wedding we were dealing with a serious threat of rain, our ceremony was scheduled to be outdoors, and Alyssa partnered with our coordinator to come up with a plan B to ensure our vision for the ceremony could be replicated somehow if the weather decided not to cooperate. Luckily a lot of weather wishes were granted and we had the ceremony and reception of our dreams and with the florals as the most beautiful backdrop. I could not recommend Alyssa and Ginger Rose enough!!

Ginger Rose did all the florals for our wedding this past September and we couldn't have been happier! Alyssa was a joy to work with. She did an amazing job incorporating my wishes, no matter how unique they were. I was hoping to have a lot of fall tones which she nailed, and the fairy lights and mini disco balls were such a fun touch that she blended beautifully. My husband and I agree that the florals were hands down the best part of the event.

I didn’t think I was going to have a strong opinion on which florist to use for our wedding until my planner showed me Alyssa’s work and I knew I wanted to work with her. Everything she does is perfect. She somehow understood what I was envisioning better than I did and all of the florals came together perfectly. She was the one vendor I knew I didn’t have to stress about at all. I would absolutely recommend working with her!!!

Alyssa is the owner and main florist/designer of ginger Rose who we used for our wedding flowers. I can't recommend her more. She was so easy to get in touch with and detail oriented. Her proposal she sent after our initial meeting was thorough and she allowed me to edit things as plans for our day changed. She worked with my wedding planner to create the most beautiful color and texture combinations for my bouquet and wedding flowers. We had an initial phone meeting going over design inspiration and I sent her one picture with an idea for the floral install on the stairs that were behind where we would be standing to get married. When I saw this in person installed, I seriously cried it was so above and beyond what I ever imagined I would see at my own wedding. I will have to update this post with pictures once I get them back from the photographer! I didn't have to think twice about any decisions for Alyssa and she just had everything there and ready on the day of (on your wedding day and the weeks leading up to it- there is more than enough on your plate). She is organized and on time. From the candles with the centerpieces (she used three different schemes for our tables to create a unified but not simple theme) to the bar greenery install to the staircase and the bouquets - it was perfect. She is an amazing business owner and if you want gorgeous flowers on your wedding day- she will deliver.

Beyond pleased with everything Ginger Rose put together for my wedding! I had planned everything and a certain aesthetic they were on board (and within budget!) and then covid hit. Alyssa was extremely accommodating and even visited two new venues with me to help bring my vision to life. Based on other work I’ve seen of theirs I gave her inspiration photos and let her take it from there and was so so in love with everything, especially my bouquet - it was stunning! 100% recommend working with them!

Alyssa and her team made all of my wedding dreams come true! She was so sweet, flexible, and easy to work with. She listened to my ideas, supported them, and added onto the ideas to make them even better. She was also able to take my two favorite bridal bouquet inspiration pictures and mix them perfectly to make an arrangement beautiful and unique to me. She exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to work with her in the future! I would absolutely recommend hiring her as a florist for your wedding!

We hired Alyssa (Ginger Rose) just 2 months out for our September 2020 wedding, a true covid wedding that had seen many ‘sizes and shapes’ before deciding on the intimate 30-person event in our backyard. Alyssa was patient, understanding, helpful, kind and easy to work with, and truly has a gift for understanding and bringing your vision to life! I appreciated her experience and extensive knowledge of florals, as well as effort to both keep florals within a certain price point & find a certain type of flower that generally doesn’t bloom past July. The arrangements she created were absolutely stunning, exceeding all expectations. Alyssa truly has an eye for color, unique & beautiful floral combinations, textures, and more. She went above & beyond for me the day of – between the multiple location drop-offs, last minute bouquet additions, and help draping chiffon over the arbor prior to installing her florals (something I was supposed to do, but she kindly took off of my plate). After a bridesmaid dropped out, Alyssa was flexible in the re-use of the budget and even agreed to designing a post-wedding arrangement I could pick-up upon returning from our honeymoon : ) I wholeheartedly recommend Alyssa / Ginger Rose to anyone! I only wish we could hire Alyssa to design monthly florals for my home!

Ginger Rose (Alyssa) was an absolute pleasure to work with for our September 2020 elopement.  She's incredibly organized and truly listened to what I wanted and envisioned.  I had taken a wreath making class from her a year before and knew her style from instagram so I knew I was in good hands.  We had a few calls to discuss our needs and wants, she created a vision board (which was spot on), and then she executed to perfection. Alyssa was absolutely incredible, and hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Alyssa is this rare combination of incredibly kind, thoughtful person mixed with creative fireball. I came in with some non traditional ideas-that weren't even full ideas, more like aesthetic inspirations and I handed her the keys to the car. Boy, am I beyond glad that I did. She executed like a boss. I had other vendors, guests, and even the venue owner asking for her information. The flowers were the single #1 commented on item all night. I am beyond glad I stumbled on her instagram a few years ago and I knew within 5 minutes of talking to her that she was the one to create the beautiful atmosphere we hoped to have at our reception. She and her team are responsive, flexible, collaborative, and communicative. I will only work with her in the future for any upcoming events that need floral design. I'm a fan for life. She's a super hero in my book!

Alyssa and the folks at Ginger Rose are amazing!! Some of the first things our guests complimented from our wedding day were the bouquets, centerpieces and ceremony display. I could not have been happier with the flowers she chose based on our color palette (which I wasn't 100% sure of myself at times hah). Alyssa was also very responsive to emails and easy to contact through the entire process, which was HUGE as I did not hire a planner. She even made me a killer mood board! Seeing our colors and textures aside her floral inspiration really helped connect details of our wedding that I couldn't quite imagine and made everything feel more tangible. Her creativity and unique style of design was beautifully present in every aspect of our florals. I can't say enough wonderful things about this lady and her design team!!

I had the most INCREDIBLE experience with Ginger Rose. They did a floral backdrop for a herringbone wall at a conference I hosted. Alyssa was a joy to work with and the final product was beautiful. I just got married a few weeks ago and the day was such a blur - some of the strongest memories I have were how GORGEOUS the flowers were! Alyssa was amazing to work with from our initial call, to creating and tweaking the proposal, to checking in throughout the months leading up to the wedding. When she found out some of the specific flowers I was hoping to use were unavailable, she was quick to communicate this and offer ideas and alternatives. She was so considerate from start to finish! But what really blew me away was how she was able to take the vague picture I had in my head and turn it into a stunning, totally unique reality. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and turned it into something so beautiful! Our day would not have been the same without her and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

It was such a pleasure working with Ginger Rose! From the moment I met her in a coffee shop, I knew I had made the right choice in choosing a flower vendor. I was at a loss on what type of flowers I wanted and how they should be arranged, but I knew I was in the right hands after meeting with Alyssa. She created the most amazing chuppah flowers and had real, large succulents included in my bouquet-a detail everyone who I spoke with mentioned-amazing! She listened when I said I wanted to go heavy on the green and was able to incorporate such beautiful details into the venue. It also helps that her personality is so warm and inviting-I felt like we were great friends talking wedding throughout the entire process. I would HIGHLY recommend!

My current husband and never gave much thought to flowers before planning our wedding, and honestly had no idea how much we would LOVE them until we met Alyssa. She created a beautiful circular greenery altar that was one of my absolute favorite parts about my wedding. She was so accommodating and flexible throughout the entire process, and she is so kind. We loved working with her and her team, they made our wedding dreams come true!

For all you Brides looking for a florist, stop now and book Ginger Rose (Alyssa) because she is the absolute best. I actually talked to many florists that are very well known and supposedly the best of the best in Atlanta, but their communication was the worst, and they point blank stopped talking to me after I told them the proposal quote was a little too high for my budget. This is one thing Alyssa was absolutely amazing with! She was so easy to talk to and really understood the meaning of a budget for a wedding. Another amazing thing about her is that she's super flexible. We had a good bit of last minute changes leading up to the big day, but Alyssa worked with me through the end with no complaints and great input. Alyssa is someone who really listens and you can tell she is sincere and just absolutely loves working with flowers. She made my vision of a boho modern wedding come true. I am so happy that I found her! Even if you have random ideas and you're not really sure what it is that you want, Alyssa will pull everything together and create something that's better than you thought it would be. Everybody absolutely loved her work and my bridesmaids and I are trying to prolong our bouquets for as long as we can because we don't want to let go! Seriously, book her! You will not be disappointed!

Upon meeting Alyssa, I was so impressed with her professionalism, as well as her artistry. Alyssa was thorough and organized in planning and creating our proposal. I really appreciated the effort and detail she put into our proposal. She is also very intuitive, I gave a few requests/suggestions and she was able to take those and run with them, creating the most stunning arrangements for my wedding. She also incorporated fresh herbs into the bouquets, boutonnieres, and center pieces-- which was an awesome nod to my husband's chef career. All of her work was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Alyssa is wildly talented and a pleasure to work with!

Working with Alyssa Ice for our wedding in Sept. was an absolute dream. From the moment I set eyes on her instagram, I knew her style would pair so perfectly with mine. She was such a joy to communicate with, and put me so at ease for the big day. Her floral designs could not have hit the mark any harder.
