Krystal was an incredible photographer for our wedding day. She was super communicative and frequently checked in to make sure that every detail we wanted was included. Her style was exactly what we envisioned with gorgeous shots of the venue, details, portraits, and the reception. I loved that she rolled with some of our more “out there” ideas low how to include our dog and other special requests. Would recommend again and again!

Krystal and her husband were the best addition to our wedding. They were a huge help in keeping the day on track and capturing all of the photos we wanted. They also worked so well with our daughter who was 7 months old at the time. Krystal is amazing at providing directions for poses and picking out the most beautiful photo locations. She was also very great to work with leading up to the wedding. She answered any questions I had and helped me with developing my timeline. We cannot recommend Ginger Snaps enough! She is the best photographer we have ever used!

Krystal was an amazing wedding photographer to work with. Her pictures still put me in awe, and for that matter anyone I show them to. But beyond that, there's detail to her work that you only learn when you work with her. Krystal drove up to PA and the day before our wedding and walked through the set up and overall plan for the next day . We discussed timeline, where we will be doing getting-ready shots, where we are doing the ceremony, what angles matter, where will I be walking through etc. She made sure to take note of which moments mattered most and needed to be captured. To add to that, she was capturing an unconventional wedding in the sense that we are South Asian with a lot of culture that you may not be aware of without context and it was also in my parent's home, but she captured it all seamlessly. In retrospect, something I didn't appreciate until after was how hard it is to capture everything while also not "being in" everything and not disrupting the feeling of moment. Somehow, Krystal managed to capture every moment while still allowing a moment to happen without interruption. She also captured our wedding reception a few months following. In contrast to our ceremony, which was more intimate, our reception was a large-scale gathering and Krystal managed to capture it all as a single photographer with a good mix of us both and the people who matter to us. Overall, can't recommend Krystal enough for capturing such important days for both of us.

Krystal was amazing! I highly recommend her. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable when neither of us likes to be center of attention. It felt so natural and she gave great direction to capture amazing photos. She has an artistic eye and is the perfect photographer to capture all the important moments of your day. I don't regret a penny spent and have so many more amazing photos from my wedding day than I could have imagined! I'm forever grateful for her and how she went above and beyond.

I can not say enough great things about Krystal and her team. She did our engagement photos and our wedding day. Not only is she amazing at capturing and delivering photos, she does it with such energy and enthusiasm that it is contagious! You can tell she absolutely loves what she does. Krystal was vital part of our day! She brings a calming and joyful presence that is difficult to put into words. We trusted her with everything and she really delivered. Krystal (gingersnaps photography) is a phenomenal photographer! She exudes positive energy and has an eye for great poses. Before our sessions with her she inquired about any preferences we had with regard to angles or sides we preferred and what poses we preferred to avoid and made sure to keep those in mind during our photo sessions. She was our photographer for both our engagement photos and our wedding and we have been extremely pleased with her work. She was so enthusiastic and we felt she went above and beyond with her time with us. She made us feel very comfortable and confident during our shoot. Our photos turned out fantastic! She provided a quick turnaround time for our photos as well. Really she is such a joy to work with and never missed a beat from photography day to the editing and delivery of our pictures. Highly recommend her!!!

Krystal has been the most amazing photographer. She did my family photos, my wedding, and I'm hoping to book her again for maternity. My whole family loves her, and even my best friend uses her all the time now. Everyone is so impressed by her photos when they see them!! I couldn't recommend her enough.

Krystal shot for my wedding and was amazing!! She was so easy and fun to work with, and I would highly recommend her for your wedding or any other special occasion. She kept it light and fun but was very direct in advising how to get the best shots - which we did! I was so happy to have her there to be my hype girl, but also guide me in order to get the best pictures.

Working with Krystal was honestly a flawless experience from start to finish. She is very responsive and made us feel confident leading up to the wedding day that we were going to be happy with our photography choice. Krystal hadn't shot at our venue before, so she gladly met us on-site one day to scope it out and discuss some logistics. Wedding day was so smooth and we were lucky to have JD as a second shooter. We didn't have specific preferences for our wedding photos and Krystal was great at guiding us throughout the day, posing us, and picking out great locations around the venue for photos. Our sneak peek was given to us in less than a week and they were beautiful photos, of course. The rest of our gallery was released exactly when we had expected it to be according to the contract which meant a lot to us to not have to wait in limbo and worry about when they would be delivered. We really can't recommend Krystal enough!!! THANK YOU for making our wedding photos so special.

Krystal was amazing! She shot our wedding, and we could not recommend her more. She’s very attentive to detail and our pictures (both engagement and wedding) turned out amazing. Not only are the photos top notch but she was so much fun to hang out with while we were taking photos. Krystal did our engagement photos, which was a great warm up for wedding day to get comfortable with each other and figure out what poses you prefer. When it came to family photos at our wedding, Krystal was super organized and was able to get everyone through very fast, and the photos turned out great. We loved working with Krystal and her husband, JD!

I even had several guests and family members come up to me throughout our wedding day and tell us how Krystal was capturing every moment and every detail and how she was working so hard. Krystal and J.D. we're absolutely amazing at our wedding! They captured every moment while not adding any stressors to the day, at all. We met beforehand in the space to get an idea of possible picture options, and my husband and I, being so super indecisive, didn't have many specifics of where we wanted pictures taken but Krystal found great spots with good lighting on the day that we were able to get to without taking us away from our party for any long length of time (we wanted to make sure we weren't missing much of the celebration :)). She is very accommodating to whatever style of wedding you choose to have. Overall, as you can see through her work, she has a great eye, and I couldn't recommend her more! So best piece of advice for your wedding, hire her now before she fills up!!

Krystal and her husband were the dream team! She was incredibly flexible during the entire process and intentional with all of her shots. I wanted classic, timeless photos that I would enjoy for years to come and I believe that is exactly what we got. She met me at the venue before the wedding to scope out good photo-op moments and communicated with me to meet my every need. She was fabulous about sending a sneak-peak quickly after of the wedding just to hold us over and then send us the files a few weeks later. Did I mention that I have over 1500 wonderfully beautiful captured moments? Future brides take note: Krystal’s fee includes the rights to all the photos and you will own them after the event. (You can print them wherever/whenever) This was highly important to us so and is a factor to consider with cost. Krystal was at our wedding event without time restraints and she even got out on the dance floor to break it down- per our request. She’s fun, professional, and accommodating. I would recommend her 1000 times over. :)

Krystal is the best ever and then some! She is a helpful guide in the crazy wedding world. She asks lots of questions, responds to all questions and concerns, she is punctual, prepared, and goes above and beyond to make sure wedding pictures are perfect and that she captures every moment that you think you want plus more. She has an uncanny ability to anticipate a beautiful moment and capture it. She is amazing and has an impeccable talent and is incredibly professional. Our wedding pictures will be a treasure for us for many years to come! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Krystal!

Absolutely amazing!! Krystal went above and beyond for our wedding pictures by bringing us umbrellas, rain boots and helping hold my dress up so it wouldn’t get muddy due to the rain. She was so quiet during the wedding ceremony that I completely forgot she was taking pictures. Krystal is friendly, kind, punctual, easy to work with, and had so many creative ideas for pictures. All of our pictures turned out stunning; I honestly can’t recommend Krystal enough for your wedding day!

Krystal was the absolute best to work with. The energy she brought to both our engagement session and wedding was unbelievable and couldn’t help but put everyone in a great mood. She responds to every wild request promptly and cheerily and has so much patience. Her work speaks for itself. Our engagement session involved two wild golden retrievers, a groom who hates having his photo taken, and a stressed out bride. The photos she got between all of those factors were absolutely beautiful. Our wedding photos are fantastic and she got every shot we asked for and then way more. (1800 beautiful photos to choose from!) We also loved having her husband as a second shooter, their dynamic together on your wedding day leads to everyone relaxing and laughing and capturing some great moments.

I wish there was an option to give more than 5 stars. Oh, where to begin! Krystal is a true artist and master of her work. She takes beautiful photos and in doing so, she makes sure that you feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera. She captured our engagement photos and wedding day beautifully and provided us with immaculate photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. What sets Krystal apart from the hundreds of other photographers you may come across in your search for "the one" is her personality. Krystal has an electrifying personality, which is SO important in choosing a wedding photographer. She never made photos feel like a chore. Our wedding party, family, and guests were all raving about how easy and fun she made the whole process. Our other wedding vendors (who have been around countless other photographers) even raved about how easy-going, yet professional Krystal was. She truly is one of those people who seems to get along with everyone she meets. Krystal is top-notch. I could not be happier with the process and end result. I don’t know where to begin! Krystal is a literal ANGEL. A total goddess in every sense of the word. Hiring this woman is the smartest decision you will make for your wedding (ESPECIALLY A DESTINATION!) We got married shortly before the pandemic in Oaxaca in a very relaxed setting. Krystal handled her flight being delayed + our limited time together with such grace. Her energy, kindness, and professionalism made the experience unforgettable. And our pictures? Incredible. I get teary eyes every.single.time. I look at them. She captured our wedding/vacation perfectly and we are forever grateful. Seriously though...can we all go back?! We love you! Every bride has the things she cares about most for her big day - the dress, the music, food, etc. For me, choosing the right photographer was at the top of the list. I fell in love with Gingersnap's sharp and timeless editing, and after having a call with Krystal, I knew she was the one to make it happen. Let me say, Krystal COMPLETELY blew my expectations out of the water. She has the creative eye to know what will make a great photo, and the editing talent to back it up. I have received so many compliments on how talented our photographer was, and on the high quality of the photos. Not to mention how many times she asked how I was doing on wedding day. She was ready to do whatever she needed to make the day as comfortable and seamless as possible. If we had another wedding, I make SURE that Krystal was there to capture the day.

Affordable, breath-taking, and personal. These are the three words that come to mind when I think of the photos Krystal took at my wedding. The quality of Krystal's photography is evident on her website, but what her portfolio may not fully convey is just how much Krystal strives to capture every shot that is important to YOU on your wedding day, plus all of the ones you could never think of without her expertise. And then of course, her photos can't show just how wonderful she is to work with (although perhaps the happy smiles are evidence). I was a very nervous COVID bride on a tight timeline the day of my wedding, and Krystal was incredibly supportive, flexible, and easy-going the entire day. I know this review is likely one of dozens that you will read when searching for your photographer, but, please trust me, of all the decisions you have to make in your wedding planning, let this be the easy one. Hiring Krystal is a decision you can feel fully confident in!

I found Gingersnaps online and immediately fell in love with her pictures. When we finally met I knew within minutes that I wanted Krystal to be part of my big day. She was amazing!!! She was extremely easy to work with and really took the time to get to know us and our needs. We had her take our engagement and elopement wedding pictures. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or better experience at our wedding!! We had a destination wedding and I loved spending time with her and by the time the weekend was over I was sad to say bye!! She made the wedding day feel so special and comfortable and was just so fun to be around. Her beautiful smile makes you happy and smile which makes taking wedding photos so easy and natural! We hired Krystal Mitchell to be our wedding photographer and we could not have been more happy with that decision. She spent an entire day hiking with us at the Gorge to capture beautiful engagement photos and then delivered an amazing wedding album filled with all of our favorite memories throughout the day. She was there for it all and didn't miss a thing! I am very picky when it comes to pictures of me but I was more than pleased. Her photos are stunning and crystal clear too. Not only is she incredibly talented but also sweet, energetic, funny and she has a way of making you feel not awkward in front of the camera (This was very important to us). We immediately felt a connection with her the moment we met her at the coffee shop to discussing pricing and expectations. It can be hard to find talented and experienced photographers when you are working with a budget. Krystal is MORE than fair on her prices and she does not skimp on the packages she offers either. She devotes all of her time and energy into her work and it is obvious. We got our wedding album back in a timely manner and I have recommended her to everyone I know. She was by far our favorite wedding vendor of the day. We will most definitely be using her again in the future for maternity shots and family portraits. No question - HIRE HER.

Krystal was so fantastic to work with! My husband and I planned a wedding in my hometown so we were not able to meet Krystal in advance. She came to our rehearsal to meet us and get acquainted with the church. She also took some photos while she was there! Our wedding was on New Years Eve and she didn’t charge any extra for holiday pricing. She arrived early in the morning to take photos while we got ready and stayed late with us to get some New Years pics. She came up with new ideas for photos and listened to all the ones we had for her. We wanted to take photos with our dog and she was so great with him, he was really at ease. She really went above and beyond. I cannot WAIT to see how the photos turned out! She even helped me with my dress train and veil to make sure it was perfect in every photo. We couldn’t recommend her more!

Where do I even begin?’ Krystal was absolutely amazing for our wedding! She goes above and beyond for her bride and groom! She really helped us feel comfortable throughout the day and was so responsive to any questions we had! We just got our sneak peak photos back and I’m absolutely blown away by them!! I can’t imagine there’s a better photographer out there than Krystal. She is so sweet and bubbly & fun and made us feel so at ease in front of the camera. She was super easy to work and communicate with and helped make sure our day flowed seamlessly. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding day and the finished products are unbelievable! I am obsessed with our engagement photos and catch myself looking at them on a regular basis. We just got married 2 weeks ago and she’s already provided us with a sneak peek at our wedding day photos (about 60 of them) and they are BEAUTIFUL! She is so quick and efficient and literally took thousands of photos of us, our family, and friends and captured so many special moments, emotions, and details of our big day all while being practically invisible. She worked directly with my wedding planner & videographer to come up with a timeline, and on the big day she worked side-by-side with the video team and made it all look effortless. The next time I need any kind of professional photos done she will for sure be the person I call!

We loved having our small wedding done by Ginger Snaps! The photos were everything we wanted. From the detail shots of my bouquet and shoes to our ceremony and first dance, everything was absolutely perfect. I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!! My only complaint is that I wish she'd done our engagement photos as well!

I can't say enough good things about Krystal and JD! We hired them to do both photo and video for our big day, as well as our engagement photos. I had the most beautiful wedding planned, the day when I would finally marry my marine. Ginger Snaps showed early, being able to catch all those cute little moments. Getting dressed,getting makeup done, laughing with the brides maids. Everything was going to go perfect, until it started raining, not just a little rain, ALOT! We had to move our completely outdoor wedding to my parents big back porch (thank goodness even their porch is beautiful) Ginger Snaps didn't let the rain mess with the job though, they put on their rain coats, covered their camera and were out there in the pouring rain still catching those perfect wedding moments. I have never experienced two people so willing to bend over backwards in order to please you more then Krystal and JD! A few days later after all the nasty rain Krystal even can back over and took some beautiful bride and groom photos, and even a few family photos with our son. They are gorgeous and hanging all over my home now. Ginger Snaps photographers, Krystal and JD are some of the sweetest and fun people, the moment you meet them you can't help but not to love them. They fit into your wedding almost like they are guest. Even after the wedding I had people comment on them and their personality! They are a must have for your big day. I HIGHLY recommend Ginger Snaps to any bride planning her big day! Ginger Snaps photography is a husband and wife team that does both photography and video. I hired Krystal on her own to do my wedding photography for the entire wedding day. I have to say, Krystal was one of the sweetest photographers I have interacted with! She did an absolutely amazing job at the wedding and gave 110% effort. It's was nice to work with someone who was obviously so passionate about what they do. She takes great photos and puts a lot of thought into them. She made sure to meet with us before the wedding to ask us exactly what kind of photos we were looking for. I'd definitely recommend her for your wedding day!
