Gingerbread House

Our cake was just what we wanted. The vendor was easy to contact and it turned out perfectly.

Oh my goodness!! Where do I begin! My husband and I ordered a small, red velvet naked cake with vanilla mousse to cut for our wedding day and let me tell you...I still think about that cake over 2 months later and crave for it! It was so moist and delicious! You will not be disappointed!

We got our wedding cake from Gingerbread house and it was amazing. Lauren was so easy to work with and I didn't have to worry about anything. We recieved so many compliments from our guests.

The BEST cake and desserts I ever had. I did an almond cake with raspberry filling. then I had a dessert table, brownies, cheesecake, bars and eclairs. They were a hit! My cake was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They have an amazing selection and a great restaurant to boot. That's how I found them, went for lunch one day and I'll be back a million times.

I knew the Gingerbread House as a cute restaurant and boutique, and when I found out they did wedding cakes I was intrigued. I set up an appointment at Gingerbread House and another really well known cake bakery in Tosa. I picked the flavors in advance and honestly I didn't know what the heck combinations would be good but we got to pick 5 to sample. Tasting day came and we met with Jose who had made the 5 samples. They were nicely sized and they all were amazing. I was so impressed and we fell in love with two flavors. We chatted with Jose for a long time and we got to know each other, which I thought was really cool considering he didn't have to. Let's just put it this way; I never used to like red velvet cake until I had Gingerbread House's/ Jose's. It was so moist and wasn't overbaked like many others do. We went to our 2nd cake tasting but on the way there I knew my mind was made up. And sure enough we were not as impressed with cake tasting with bakery #2. We booked Gingerbread House and had a 2nd tasting to narrow down our flavors. We went with vanilla with a strawberry frosting in the middle (very light flavor) and red velvet. The frosting was PERFECT. Not too rich or heavy so you could eat a ton and not feel guilty about it. The cake was moist. The design was perfect. Everyone said our cake was amazing. They were a little more expensive than bakery #2 but honestly it was well worth it. They even delivered it later than normal because our ceremony was at 5 and I didn't want it out during our ceremony. We went in last week and Jose was able to come out of the bakery and sit with us for a little bit and we talked about the cake and the wedding. Jose was truly amazing and we can't thank Jose and Gingerbread House enough!!!

The Gingerbread House made a beautiful cake for our wedding! So many guests came up to us during and after the wedding to tell us how amazing the cake was. They are so easy to work with and go above and beyond to make sure the cake is exactly what you want. I have nothing but great things to say about the Gingerbread House!

The cake was airy and delicious. They were able to decorate it just as I pictured it.

The Gingerbread House is the perfect place to get your wedding cake! Amelia, the designer, really put our ideas onto paper so well which transformed into a beautiful cake. The frosting is not super sweet, but nicely enhances the cake. Their specialty fillings were all so good, it was hard to pick just 3 cakes!
