My husband and I had a great experience with GingerSnap and Melanie. From the very beginning she was extremely communicative, from me texting her at our cake tasting about what design she thinks will look best with her flowers; to helping us change the entire color scheme 2 months out. She was very helpful with us to trying to stay in budget and over delivered on every aspect. She helped my vision come to life with her passion for flowers and overall ambiance. Not only did she execute her floral job to perfection, but she stepped in to help out with our marriage license and bustling of my dress. Melanie has such a great eye for color and beautiful florals. We had the pleasure of working with her directly to create our dream fall wedding this past October. I can’t express how lucky we were to find Melanie for our floral arrangements! Our venue was very tropical/colorful and she was able to match the vibe of the space effortlessly. We expressed wanting to repurpose some of our ceremony pieces throughout the reception and her ideas/execution was unbelievable. Cannot even explain the amazing creativity and true passion that we were so lucky to find in Melanie and GingerSnap Florals for our wedding. I wanted a combo of old Hollywood + Miami tropical vibes for our floral design and Melanie 1000000000% delivered! She can source some serious blooms. I wish I could post a photo of my huge amazing tropical bouquet - it was a DREAM come true. She created unbelievable table arrangements, and floral nests for the alter that I didn't even imagine but realized were literally what my vision was. My guests jaws were on the floor. Melanie was an absolute life saver for my wedding! Melanie's approach was so different to every other florist I spoke to — she took the time to hear out our creative vision and steer us toward exactly the type of florals that would help bring our wedding together. Instead of shooting us a soulless quote sheet, she spent hours on the phone with us hearing out our ideas and was patient with my lack of knowledge of flowers. Without our her, our 80's Havana theme wouldn't have come together right. She doesn't just know flowers — she knows the impact that they have.

Melanie and her team are AMAZING! We were so happy to have her help during our wedding and Melanie was an absolute joy to work with. She was incredible at creating exactly what I wanted for my wedding based on the few references and just overall vibe I described to her. It was like she was inside my brain! I was introduced to Melanie through my wedding planner and I knew she was exactly who I was looking for after meeting. She’s so easy to work with, great with communication, and, on top of all of that, a beautiful person inside and out! She took my vision and made it into a reality, but far exceeded my expectations. The floral industry has taken a huge hit due to COVID and issues with supply from other countries, so Melanie had to make some changes but was always transparent and honest. Where do I begin to describe the amazing job that Melanie did for my wedding? I reached out to Melanie because I don't know much about flowers and I wasn't entirely sure what look I wanted for the floral arrangements. The only thing I knew was that my color scheme was to be purple and white. Melanie said "I got you, girl" and took it from there. Melanie designed my bouquet, my bridemaid's bouquets, my groomsman's corsages, the flowers to go on all my tables, posters, the huppah, and general decoration by hand. Melanie gave me some previews of what she was thinking on pintrest well in advance, and everything looked lovely so I was excited to see how it would all come together. On the big day Melanie arrived and by the time she was finished I had never seen anything so gorgeous in my life. My mom, a flower fanatic, still goes on and on about how stunning the floral arrangements at my wedding looked. Melanie even picked up candles for my tables and added framed photos of my fiancé and me to the mix. She laid out all the guest place cards for my tables and she did an amazing job decorating our cake. Melanie very was responsive by text and overall a joy to talk to. Of all the vendors I hired for my wedding, Melanie was the best (and I really liked all my vendors, but someone has to come out on top and reign supreme!) A+ job Melanie. I found Melanie through The Knot and she was a dream to work with from the initial emails and phone calls. She has the most lovely energy and was so positive throughout the entire process. As someone who does not know much about flowers, I gave her the vision I had in mind, and she was able to bring it life, not once, but twice (thanks COVID). She was extremely flexible as well when we did have to reschedule twice, and ultimately changed the venue entirely, where we changed the vision of the day. When she arrived, she was fast, professional and made everything look beautiful. She would even text throughout the planning process to check in and say hi, and when we postponed our wedding the first time, she texted on our would be wedding date to let us know she was thinking of us and that she still couldn't wait to bring everything to life on our new date. Melanie and her team were absolutely amazing. I am SO glad I found Melanie! She was so easy to talk to and communicate with and she help what vision i had come to life! As someone who didn't think wedding flowers were so involved, Melanie helped me and my husband go through options and let us choose the perfect ones! She was very upfront on what she was able to get, what she wasn't, and alternatives on those ones that just in case we might not be able to have. We got married in mid-June 2019 at a Los Angeles venue. We were budget minded and Melanie was great in working with us on floral arrangements. We were able to repurpose flowers used for the ceremony for the reception, and able to save some money that way. Overall, we were quite pleased with the appearance and look and feel. Melanie met us prior to the ceremony for overall design and was onsite on wedding day. We worked as part of a co-op and they worked very well. Last year was the most stressful/exciting year of my life, and finding the best florist for our wedding was something that I didn’t have the mental capacity to do. Enter Melanie, who upon first meeting gave us the confidence that we were in good hands! Fast forward to our wedding day, and we had the most bespoke beautiful flower arrangements for our very color/culture specific wedding, and to add Melanie went above and beyond to make sure that our venue looked gorgeous for our special day. Honestly she took the vision that we could half describe and turned it into a reality that neither my wife or I could have envisioned! We met Melanie through F/8 Studios after having met with several florist and being quoted prices that were unreasonable, and designs that more reflected the florist personal tastes. Melanie asked us a few simple questions about what our theme was, what colors we had in mind, and what our outfits would look like. On top of this she took the time get to know who we were and what our ideal wedding looked like. Within a week, Melanie was on top of getting us a quote as well as giving us a blueprint of what our floral arrangements would look like. I already started feeling like we were her most important clients. She gives that attention to detail to you. This is all before we had even signed a contract. My Wife and I loved her ideas and decided to pull the trigger. Since our wedding had a specific mix of color, Melanie had decided to include us heavily in the process. She invited my wife to send her ideas, colors, and her vision several times throughout the process. She even went as far as inviting us to the flower market to give her inspiration. Honestly you won’t find vendors that pay such close attention to your preferences. Fast forward a few months and my wife got super busy with work so she passed the floral responsibilities onto me. I honestly have no knowledge of design, colors, or flowers. But Melanie got in touch with me and really helped me be a part of the process. She checked in regularly about my outfit, my groomsmen outfits, and what we wanted the day to look like. Melanie also asked how the tables and signage were looking, so that she could add pieces that would step them up a notch. All this, in the most affordable package! Fast forward to our wedding day! We walk into our venue and start noticing how our vision of greenery and florals had filled the entire space. Not only that but all signage and tables had beautiful accent pieces. My groomsmen, who are not at all the kind of men to comment on flowers, talked about how much they loved their boutonnieres. Our bridesmaids were insistent on keeping their bouquets, and guests throughout the night were asking about the table pieces. Also Melanie made sure to add pieces to our desert table that completely transformed the look! The most important thing was that she checked in with us days prior, and days after to make sure that everything was flawless. First of all Melanie is a sweetheart and her love for floral and design just makes you so happy and excited about planning your wedding. She's a dear and the very best out there. Originally, I was working with another florist who had done a walk-through of my venue, but she still wasn't producing the vision I wanted and kept quoting me extremely high prices. It was serendipity that I met Melanie at F/8 studios. I started chatting with her about our wedding. Within 5 minutes Melanie summarized everything I had originally wanted and she had never even stepped foot in my venue! She's psychic and her proposal was like a carbon copy of my Pinterest board. Our wedding was a fall wedding and had some vibrant colors in it: my Hanbok was green, my husband's Sherwani was gold, our bridal party was in light gray tones and gold accents. Her bouquets and boutonnieres tied everything together perfectly. No lie our wedding could've been a hot mess of color, but Melanie's choices of flowers and greenery pulled everything together. The flowers were easily my favorite part of the wedding. Just trust Melanie and she will take care of you!
