She literally walked us through the entire process, asking us all the right questions, and manifesting our ideas into a full blown floral experience. Melanie decorated the arc at our ceremony and handled all the floral arrangements at the reception with such skill and creativity. My bridal bouquet was absolutely dreamy, capturing everything I had envisioned and more. Most importantly, Melanie is an amazing, kind-hearted soul. When we received the devastating news that our chapel had canceled our ceremony just two weeks before the wedding, Melanie stepped in and turned a potentially disastrous situation into a most beautiful one. Melanie made the wedding of my dreams come true!!! It was honestly the best day of my life, and a lot of that had to do with being surrounded by the most amazing floral arrangements I've ever seen. EVERYONE who attended the wedding has come up to me and said: "Oh my god- the flowers." Going into the planning process I had a lot of abstract ideas in my head, but no idea how to communicate what I wanted (I have the opposite of a green thumb), and somehow Melanie was able to figure out the vague terms I described, and actually brought a much better version of what was in my head to life!

We cannot emphasize it enough - Melanie helped make the wedding of our wildest dreams come true. It fact, she did everything she could to make wedding more beautiful than we even imagined – and she beyond succeeded. Melanie actually told us that we should add yellow to our bouquet and we were hesitant, but we’re so glad that we ultimately did. Also, the flower combination was a dream. She crafted this gorgeous broken arch for our ceremony that she was able to quickly break down and reuse while we were taking photos - creating these incredible high and low table center pieces for the reception and dinner. It was like magic. I cannot possibly count how many people have complimented our wedding flowers. Our guests – and people who follow us on social media – have been RAVING about that. Melanie is truly a magician, everybody. We would 1000 percent choose her as our florist again!

I can’t express how lucky we were to find Melanie for our floral arrangements! Our venue was very tropical/colorful and she was able to match the vibe of the space effortlessly. We expressed wanting to repurpose some of our ceremony pieces throughout the reception and her ideas/execution was unbelievable. Cannot even explain the amazing creativity and true passion that we were so lucky to find in Melanie and GingerSnap Florals for our wedding. I wanted a combo of old Hollywood + Miami tropical vibes for our floral design and Melanie 1000000000% delivered! She can source some serious blooms. I wish I could post a photo of my huge amazing tropical bouquet - it was a DREAM come true. She created unbelievable table arrangements, and floral nests for the alter that I didn't even imagine but realized were literally what my vision was. My guests jaws were on the floor. Melanie's approach was so different to every other florist I spoke to — she took the time to hear out our creative vision and steer us toward exactly the type of florals that would help bring our wedding together. Instead of shooting us a soulless quote sheet, she spent hours on the phone with us hearing out our ideas and was patient with my lack of knowledge of flowers. Without our her, our 80's Havana theme wouldn't have come together right. She doesn't just know flowers — she knows the impact that they have.

Where do I begin to describe the amazing job that Melanie did for my wedding? I reached out to Melanie because I don't know much about flowers and I wasn't entirely sure what look I wanted for the floral arrangements. The only thing I knew was that my color scheme was to be purple and white. Melanie said "I got you, girl" and took it from there. Melanie designed my bouquet, my bridemaid's bouquets, my groomsman's corsages, the flowers to go on all my tables, posters, the huppah, and general decoration by hand. Melanie gave me some previews of what she was thinking on pintrest well in advance, and everything looked lovely so I was excited to see how it would all come together. On the big day Melanie arrived and by the time she was finished I had never seen anything so gorgeous in my life. My mom, a flower fanatic, still goes on and on about how stunning the floral arrangements at my wedding looked. Melanie even picked up candles for my tables and added framed photos of my fiancé and me to the mix. She laid out all the guest place cards for my tables and she did an amazing job decorating our cake. Melanie very was responsive by text and overall a joy to talk to. Of all the vendors I hired for my wedding, Melanie was the best (and I really liked all my vendors, but someone has to come out on top and reign supreme!) A+ job Melanie. I found Melanie through The Knot and she was a dream to work with from the initial emails and phone calls. She has the most lovely energy and was so positive throughout the entire process. As someone who does not know much about flowers, I gave her the vision I had in mind, and she was able to bring it life, not once, but twice (thanks COVID). She was extremely flexible as well when we did have to reschedule twice, and ultimately changed the venue entirely, where we changed the vision of the day. When she arrived, she was fast, professional and made everything look beautiful. She would even text throughout the planning process to check in and say hi, and when we postponed our wedding the first time, she texted on our would be wedding date to let us know she was thinking of us and that she still couldn't wait to bring everything to life on our new date. Last year was the most stressful/exciting year of my life, and finding the best florist for our wedding was something that I didn’t have the mental capacity to do. Enter Melanie, who upon first meeting gave us the confidence that we were in good hands! Fast forward to our wedding day, and we had the most bespoke beautiful flower arrangements for our very color/culture specific wedding, and to add Melanie went above and beyond to make sure that our venue looked gorgeous for our special day. Honestly she took the vision that we could half describe and turned it into a reality that neither my wife or I could have envisioned! We met Melanie through F/8 Studios after having met with several florist and being quoted prices that were unreasonable, and designs that more reflected the florist personal tastes. Melanie asked us a few simple questions about what our theme was, what colors we had in mind, and what our outfits would look like. On top of this she took the time get to know who we were and what our ideal wedding looked like. Within a week, Melanie was on top of getting us a quote as well as giving us a blueprint of what our floral arrangements would look like. I already started feeling like we were her most important clients. She gives that attention to detail to you. This is all before we had even signed a contract. My Wife and I loved her ideas and decided to pull the trigger. Since our wedding had a specific mix of color, Melanie had decided to include us heavily in the process. She invited my wife to send her ideas, colors, and her vision several times throughout the process. She even went as far as inviting us to the flower market to give her inspiration. Honestly you won’t find vendors that pay such close attention to your preferences. Fast forward a few months and my wife got super busy with work so she passed the floral responsibilities onto me. I honestly have no knowledge of design, colors, or flowers. But Melanie got in touch with me and really helped me be a part of the process. She checked in regularly about my outfit, my groomsmen outfits, and what we wanted the day to look like. Melanie also asked how the tables and signage were looking, so that she could add pieces that would step them up a notch. All this, in the most affordable package! Fast forward to our wedding day! We walk into our venue and start noticing how our vision of greenery and florals had filled the entire space. Not only that but all signage and tables had beautiful accent pieces. My groomsmen, who are not at all the kind of men to comment on flowers, talked about how much they loved their boutonnieres. Our bridesmaids were insistent on keeping their bouquets, and guests throughout the night were asking about the table pieces. Also Melanie made sure to add pieces to our desert table that completely transformed the look! The most important thing was that she checked in with us days prior, and days after to make sure that everything was flawless. First of all Melanie is a sweetheart and her love for floral and design just makes you so happy and excited about planning your wedding. She's a dear and the very best out there. Originally, I was working with another florist who had done a walk-through of my venue, but she still wasn't producing the vision I wanted and kept quoting me extremely high prices. It was serendipity that I met Melanie at F/8 studios. I started chatting with her about our wedding. Within 5 minutes Melanie summarized everything I had originally wanted and she had never even stepped foot in my venue! She's psychic and her proposal was like a carbon copy of my Pinterest board. Our wedding was a fall wedding and had some vibrant colors in it: my Hanbok was green, my husband's Sherwani was gold, our bridal party was in light gray tones and gold accents. Her bouquets and boutonnieres tied everything together perfectly. No lie our wedding could've been a hot mess of color, but Melanie's choices of flowers and greenery pulled everything together. The flowers were easily my favorite part of the wedding. Just trust Melanie and she will take care of you!

This makes it incredibly easy to budget and yet make a huge impact for your event or occasion. Just got married a week ago and I can’t emphasize enough how essential Melanie was!! She went above and beyond and fully delivered more than expected. We had an Indian sikh ceremony and a Christian ceremony + reception. The centerpieces were to die for! She also did the final venue walkthrough with me, having her there gave me the extra confidence I needed and made me feel comfortable that it would all go well. And the day of, I truly wasn’t disappointed. Having her there every step of the way, regardless if it had to do with florals or not, really helped the process! I had zero knowledge of flowers, I gave her a basic feel + color and she made it come to life beautifully. I cannot thank you enough Melanie !!

Melanie was the best! We didn’t know exactly what we wanted but she guided us through the process and helped us figure it out. She was great at communicating and always got right back to us with any questions we had! She was able to adapt our vision and our budget into a beatiful wedding. Melanie is a beam of magical sunshine. Going into this process, our knowledge of flowers was basically nil, but in Melanie's capable hands, we never had to worry. She has an excellent eye and impeccable design sense, which, combined with her boundless energy and enthusiasm, gave us a truly unforgettable floral display. I will start this review with a disclaimer: This review will not do Melanie Ruth and Gingersnap Florals justice. There, you have been warned. My husband and I are professional creatives--actor and photographer among other things--so know that our biases come from a place of experience, having worked a wedding or two. Out of all of the incredibly talented vendors we have had the pleasure of meeting and working with, you will not find a more passionate, honest, and loving florist and event designer than Melanie. She is a walking encyclopedia, proving that she doesn't just pick things because "THESE ARE SO F'ING PRETTY!," but because they will physically work well together and thrive possibly well beyond the honeymoon that is and should follow. But, I digress . . . We satisfied our creative hippie-dippyness to its core by getting married in the desert, requiring everything to be hauled over the night before. She was nothing short of a solider during the entire process--from consult to, "Ok, I'm going to brave the long drive home and sleep now." Our hybrid floral-succulent arrangements are still unlike anything I have ever seen. Every arrangement, whether in one of our rustic planter boxes or trendy terrariums, took on a thoughtful and calculated structure to be envied by any Michael's stylist. Essentially, they looked absolutely fake and lasted as such. The fact that she was able to achieve all that she did within our laughably tight budget was pure black magic, and we won't judge her for it. I'm not saying she's for everyone, but don't doubt for a second that she won't move mountains to make your wildest dreams come true and then some.

Melly is truly an artist and clearly knows what she is doing. She made my wedding so beautiful and made my vision come to life and stayed with in my budget, which I truly appreciate! She adds these deatails you would never think of and it's truly breath taking. I also wanted a floral head piece made and was very picky on the size and shape and let me tell you.. it was absolutely perfect and amazingly beautiful and really put my bride look all together! I can not reccomend Gingersnap florals enough!

Melanie and GingerSnap Florals literally MADE my wedding! From our first meeting I knew I was in great hands. Melanie is sweet, knowledgeable and has a great eye for color and design. I gave her very little direction ("bright colors and succulents in my bouquet") and man did she deliver. We had a very small wedding (31 guests) which meant I could focus more on having things look exactly the way I wanted. The flowers were the most important thing to me - they were what I was centering the whole wedding atmosphere around. The tablescape looked EXACTLY how I had pictured it in my head, which is amazing since my direction was so nonspecific! She had wonderful recommendations for flowers to stay within my budget and everything she showed up with on the big day was absolutely gorgeous. I cannot recommend her enough!

Melanie is an absolute delight! She is incredibly creative, skilled, and talented. We talked to so many florists to find the perfect fit for us and she was the only one willing to give us her advice and opinion whereas everyone else just wanted a Pinterest photo to copy. She was helpful throughout the planning stages of our wedding and we ended up having her arrange greenery & succulent garland for our dining tables, a sweetheart table design, as well as additional greenery for our various additional tables and booths. Her work was stunning and helped us achieve a picturesque wedding.

Melanie is the best possible choice one can make for a wedding! I knew I had kind of an off hand vision. I wanted this quirky mid century retro wedding but it still had to be glamorous, oh and I didn’t want colored florals. Even without the use of color Melanie nailed it with her knowledge of every flower ever and used textures to create the drama I wanted. Everyone kept going on and on about how beautifully everything was done. I’m a big control freak, and very type A when it comes to design and aesthetics. But I knew I could trust her to take the drivers seat, and I’m so glad I did!

Quite simply, Melanie made our special day even more incredible by adding her magic to it. Upon first meeting with Melanie, her passion and knowledge are quite inspiring. When I was stumped, she brought her flower power knowledge and suggested looks that enhanced the theme I was going for. Working with Gingersnap Floras was such a great experience. From our first meeting she took the time to get to know me and understand the vision that I was looking for our wedding. We had two meetings total, and she was very helpful in communication during the time between meetings, to answer any questions, and give me more ideas. She knows so much about flowers that I was completely comfortable that she would be able to create the look I wanted.
