Originally Giovanni was going to shoot our wedding. Because of COVID, everything went sideways and there was limited availability when rescheduling. He apologized and assured me that he would send his business partner Ron, who is super talented. Ron and his assistant Sal were an absolute godsend! They were the glue that held our day together. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. They were keeping track of time and the flow of our afternoon. All our photos were done pre-ceremony. They coordinated with the venue and our dj on timing for our programming. They made sure we got everything we wanted photographed. These guys worked hard and hustled. My husband and wedding party thought they were fantastic. I would have to say, everything worked out and they exceeded our expectations. No bride should be deterred from booking with Giovanni (or Ron). I’ve read other reviews that he’s doubled booked in the past. I wouldn’t be worried. We had a great experience. These guys are experts and you can expect top notch. Can’t wait to see our photos!

Giovanni and his team were incredible throughout our entire wedding planning process. My husband and I had to change our wedding date three times over the past year, and Giovanni was always there to answer any questions that we had, and to assure us that everything was going to work out! At our wedding on 7/11/2021, Giovanni and Dominic were INCREDIBLE! They were professional, attentive, personable, and knew exactly how to make everyone feel comfortable taking photos. So many of our guests have reached out to say how amazing the photographers were – they were even on the dance floor with us! We cannot wait to see how incredible our photos turned out! We also booked José for videography through Giovanni. I couldn’t say more amazing things about José! He made us feel comfortable taking videos, gave perfect instructions about what to do, and captured all of our most special moments. We cannot wait to see the final product! I can't even begin to explain how much Giovanni, Carlo, Chris & our assistant hands down made our wedding day. Whatever these pictures come back as, the amount of fun we had taking pictures with them was unreal. Absolutely nothing was awkward, better yet we couldn't stop laughing at just how ridiculous they were being to get us to laugh. The amount of effort this "squad" put in to making our pictures the best they can be was unimaginable. Absolutely beyond personable, I would use them 100 times over and recommend them to absolutely anyone, especially couples who feel awkward in front of the camera because that will be out the window in the first 30 seconds. I can't express enough appreciation for the effort they put in to finding the right spots to capture our perfect moments. Finally, shout out to Chris for literally memorizing my shot list, way better than I ever could and making sure we got each pose I wanted. I really cannot say enough great things about Gio & Carlos team, because they left us speechless. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you want to have fun taking your photos.

Giovanni was such an amazing photographer and perfect man for the job! So professional and funny! Him and his staff were dressed and acted very professional and went above and beyond to make me and my wife feel comfortable! My wedding was on May 26th, 2019. After waiting until I received my albums at the beginning of February 2021 I am finally able to write an honest review. While I can attribute some of that time passed to the pandemic, I cannot allow the pandemic to take the fall for the lack of communication. Let's start at the beginning. Giovanni was fantastic during the planning process. Extremely helpful with planning the timeline of him arriving and receptive to the shot list I provided. Day of: Giovanni, his assistant, Carlo, and his assistant arrived on time ready to shoot! The photographs of getting ready to the church, and ceremony all went fine. The portraits at the venue are now over and we are in the reception. The assistant that came with Giovanni was flat-out RUDE. He ROLLED HIS EYES at my mother because she was enjoying herself on the dance floor rather than at her table taking a photo. He then proceeded to tell me, with an attitude "Your mom doesn't want to take a photo she is too busy dancing." I responded with "Great I hope she is too busy dancing and enjoying herself at the wedding she is paying for. Please move to a different table and come back to her table at a later time." I then received another eye roll. As you can imagine I was extremely unhappy at this point and had no patience for the assistant any longer. The night went on and everything was fine. Carlo was SO great when I wanted to take a few photos with friends and was willing to help us out. Once the reception started I rarely saw Giovanni, he seemed to have disappeared and the only photographer on the dance floor was his assistant and Carlo & his assistant videoing. Ok...whatever. It then reached the end of the night and I swear they just disappeared. No one ever let me know they left and there was just suddenly no photographer or videographer anymore. Ok... fine. The real problems started to arise after the wedding. If you think you are recieving ONE photo before 3 months you are mistaking! I asked for a sneak peak about 2 weeks after my wedding because I was SO excited to see the photos - I did not even receive an email back saying anything. Once your full payment is recieved there is little to no support from the team. I had to ask what the steps were to move forward with building the albums, no instructions or support was given. COMMUNICATION WAS NON EXISTANT!!!! Every time I reached out I either did not recieve an email back or what I did get back was a 1 sentence email about Italy being closed due to COVID. I understand there is an pandemic but there is only so much you can blame on the pandemic. Everytime I asked about the timeline it was suddenly my fault that I did not send back the photos I wanted included in a timely matter. It may have taken me a little longer to do so and I admitted that, but blaming your client is not the way to go. After recieving my albums 19 months after my wedding I was happy to be done with this process. Now, in my contract I should have also recieved an enlargement and a photo calendar.. I never recieved those items and Gio never seemed interested in fulfilling those remaining items. If you are looking for photos of your wedding that are posed like you should be in a magazine Giovanni is the photographer for you. If you are looking for a photographer that will bring out you and your partner's personalities I suggest you look elsewhere. If you are looking for a great videographer Carlo was AMAZING!

Giovanni and Dominic were amazing! They captured every photo possible. Both gentlemen were professional and made everyone feel very comfortable throughout the day. They were even willing to get in the snow and a little dirty to get the shot! I highly recommend.

We got married on 9/20/19 and could not be happier with choosing Giovanni and his crew for our photos and video. We got engaged back in March of 2017 and Giovanni was one of the first vendors we picked. We sat down with him in his office and just loved everything we saw when it came to his pictures on the wall and his albums. He answered any question I had (trust me, I probably had a lot haha) and was very responsive. On the day of the wedding, Gio and his team split up (some went to where my husband was getting ready and some went to me). I first remember meeting Carlo the videographer and he was so nice and reassured me that everything would be perfect. The team then met up with each other at the church and then the venue. Fast forward to now, we received our pictures before Christmas. They came out STUNNING. We could not be happier and working on the thank you cards with some beautiful pictures as we speak. I love our video as well - we received a trailer and the raw video footage. We also decided to do a same day edit shown at the wedding. So many guests were blown away with the same day edit! Giovanni is a wedding photographer like no other - professional, easy to work with, and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Not to mention, he was sitting down on the floor in his suit getting those awesome angles! Book Giovanni and his team for his wedding - you will not regret it!

Giovanni was phenomenal! My husband found him through his connections in New Rochelle and from the moment we met him we knew that was our photographer! He was so attuned to the littlest details and made me and my husband feel so relaxed during pictures that it made the big day go as smooth as we have envisioned! From the first moment we met Giovanni, we instantly connected. His place of business is professional with lots of his beautiful pictures and photo albums, but it also made you feel like you are at home. Giovanni was so honest and informative, considering it was a vow renewal for us after 16 years, and I had no idea about ANYTHING. He was easy to talk to and he genuinely made me feel immediatley comfortable with my decision. Giovanni gave me a timeline about 2 weeks before the wedding for himself and my other vendors should be adhering to and he was right on the money!! Giovanni and his crew couldn't have been any nicer to my family and me, and they were funny together too lol. Please everyone do the 1st look!! We got sooo many picture taken before the ceremony, inside and outside so we had so much more time to spend with our guests. Again Giovanni recommended it and it made complete sense. He and his team were with us the ENTIRE night with a videographer. I can't say enough about Giovanni. We are 1000% satisfied and can't wait to use him again. Giovanni is the ABSOLUTE BEST.

Giovanni and his team are absolutely incredible!! They arrived in the morning at my bridal suite when I was so nervous wanting everything to go perfect and they immediately calmed me down by how professional and friendly they were. Everything went seamlessly as they knew exactly when and where we should be. They joked around with my bridal party and I where we felt completely comfortable and became their friends throughout the night. I’m sure I was such a pain in the butt and he wasn’t even phased- he knew exactly when and where we should be, the perfect lighting, scenery, positions and everything to make everything perfect. Giovanni is the best!! From the very first meeting he was very professional and laid back. He did our engagement shoot and I realized right away that he will do anything to get the shots that he needs. He joked with us to make us very comfortable. My husband is very camera shy and he helped him loosen up and showed him how to stand and everything. This past Saturday was my wedding. Giovanni photographed our wedding on 9/30/18. He was amazing! Giovanni is very courteous and professional, not to mention an extremely talented photographer. Truly an amazing fun experience from day 1! When we met Gio, we instantly clicked and knew this was the guy we had to work with. We were in great hands and had nothing to worry about. Gio and his assistant Dom are a great team that get the best possible shots. Then add in Carlo the videographer, and it's the perfect combo. WOW!!! These guys are the real deal!!!! Put it this way, on our wedding day, it rained for about 25 mins - then the sun came out!!! Sure enough, my photographers were laying down on the wet grass - in their suits - taking pictures!!! Very professional men, always watching the clock, and the pictures these gentlemen took were breathtaking!!! They showed us several pics on their camera, it had GQ written all over it!!!! My husband and I decided to get married and do everything rather quickly in only 3 short months. You can imagine the stress trying to get everything together! However, deciding to go with Giovanni as our photographer was the best thing we could have done. From the moment we met him we just immediately felt comfortable and knew he had everything under control, which meant one less thing I would have to stress about. He worked with us to pick an affordable package on our budget and was very helpful with anything we needed. We also used his videographer who we had not met until the day of the wedding but again they were amazing and easy to work with as well. I can say they made our day so very special and when it came to the pictures and video everything went smoothly and just as we wished. I first met Giovanni at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton bridal show, and remember noticing immediately how his showcased work was unique compared to all other photographers there. I remember telling my mom that night, "I really like Giovanni's work, but I'll wait to see some other photographers too." When I met Giovanni again a few weeks later at a different bridal show, and saw how his work still stood out above the rest, I knew I should follow my first instinct -- it was time to schedule an appointment. From the moment we sat down with Giovanni he was friendly, easy going, and it felt as though we had known him for years. It was a no brainer, then, when we selected him as our wedding photographer. Giovanni used his expertise to help organize our day-of schedule. He and his team arrived on time, dressed professionally in suits. Their easy going temperament was just what we needed on wedding day - they kept us laughing, and feeling cool, calm and collected. Giovanni worked meticulously to capture my "getting ready" pictures, and his eye as a true photographic *artist* became clear to me. He shot photos of me thru light fixtures and patio trellis holes, he climbed up ladders and laid out on the grass, all to capture the best photos for us. We (and our family!) were in awe when we received our wedding day photos! We have over 4,000 pictures of the greatest day ever, that are ours to keep. We had a really positive experience with the Giovanni team for both our engagement pictures and farm style wedding in upstate NY! Giovanni may be a city based photographer but he was perfectly comfortable in this small town setting and the pictures prove that his talents and vision have no boundaries or limitations! The pictures were creative, encompassed my husband and my personalities perfectly and were painless to take. Giovanni brought 3 other people to assist him so all the angles were covered and each team member was as professional as the next. About 5 years ago I stumbled upon wedding pictures on facebook. My husband and I couldn't believe how beautiful they were. I noticed the name Giovanni and went to his website where we were even more impressed. Since we were only boyfriend and girlfriend then, I made sure I saved this information for the future ;) So, when my husband proposed to me in 2014, we knew exactly who we wanted for photos - Giovanni! Within a few days of the proposal, I called Giovanni and we set up an appointment. From the very first meeting, it was apparent that Giovanni was more than a photographer, but an artist! All of his photos are incredibly beautiful and thought out. So obviously, we booked hiM!! Fast forward to July 2015, our wedding day! Giovanni went ABOVE AND BEYOND . The poses were amazing, the scenery gorgeous. We took pictures at the groom's house, bride's house, inside the church, outside of church, Glen Island, and all over our venue, Beckwith Pointe, from the beach, to the rocks, to the park! Giovanni even took us during the night and we took an amazing photo with fire in the background. I haven't even seen my pictures yet, but I am writing this review because I am so confident that our pictures turned out beautiful. So many people came up to me to tell me they were so impressed by the photos Giovanni took that day. Even someone who recently got married and booked another photographer said she should have met with him for her photos. Wedding photos are something you will have for the rest of your life. So many people I know have regrets about their photos and do not even want to look at them. My husband and I are lucky because I know we will love our pictures and probably will not be able to stop staring at them thanks to Giovanni! Giovanni and his crew were amazing! They were funny, easy-going and professional all at once. We are thrilled over our photos. Giovanni of Larchmont NY is truly the quintessential photographic artist. My daughter and I met with him in his office where we had an opportunity to meet and see several examples of his work. He discussed a variety of options and offered us a choice of affordable packages including a custom package that fit the essential elements my daughter desired for her special day. He is well organized, personable and extremely talented. To ensure that the big day ran smoothly, Gio provided us with a comprehensive questionnaire for the bride and groom to complete. This was used to create an itinerary so that everyone involved was on time and on the same page. On the day of the wedding, he and his crew were dressed in suit and tie and conducted the photo sessions as if we were all on a magazine cover shoot. First up was the groom and his groomsmen at the hotel and then the bride with her bridesmaids and family at home. Next it was at the church, then lakefront, then at the cocktail reception and main event. His photos captured the essence of joy and excitement of a most memorable day in the life of my daughter and her new husband. We are extremely pleased with Gio's extraordinary ability to tell their love story through photographs. My daughter chose the platinum photography package and Gio along with his crew exceeded all expectations.The final product is amazing. The photos are sharp and simply spectacular. We highly recommend Giovanni as the photographer of choice if you seek perfection on your perfect day.

My husband and I definitely feel we made the right choice going with Giovanni for our pictures- we didn't even try to meet with anyone else! From the start, Giovanni was very personable and really worked with us to meet our needs (We needed accommodations on our package). On top of being very accommodating and easy-going his pictures are extremely unique and beautiful. Every time someone looks at our album, they are wowed by our pictures! I also really appreciated that in the days leading up to the wedding, Giovanni gave me a timeline for the day; I didn't have to hassle him about it! (Which he stuck to perfectly)... I can't stress enough how accommodating and helpful Giovanni is. When our album(s) came in and we received the call to pick them up at his office, we weren't available during office hours- so he offered to let us pick them up at his house! (see what I mean!) Not only was our wedding album beautiful, so were our engagement shots! We also really appreciated all that Giovanni offers to couples with his packages. I couldn't be happier with the decision we made to go with Giovanni Photographic Artist for our big day.

Giovanni is a fantastic photographer! Going into the proposal meeting with him, we thought we had already settled on a different photographer. We decided to meet with Giovanni anyway, as a courtesy because we'd already set up the meeting. At the proposal meeting, he was so charming and endearing that instead of the usual 30-45 minute meeting we usually had with vendors, we sat with him in his shop for nearly an hour and a half. Once out on the street in front of his shop, my then-fiance looked at me and said, "he's going to shoot our wedding." His care and attention to every detail of every photo is astounding. His personality is infectious and he truly cares about doing whatever he can to make you feel comfortable and at-ease. He was quite flexible with our budget and he makes it clear to you that you are his only event on the day-of. Also, he does not charge any overtime fees, because he's with you from prep to the end of the reception. He will likely be one of the last people out the door. We took our engagement photos (also an included option in his pricing) at Fort Tryon Park. In the hour and a half session, he snapped nearly 500 pictures. In preparing for the day-of, my husband and I made a list of all the various still-life, group, and action shots that we wanted Giovanni to shoot. On the wedding day, Giovanni and his assistant Chris worked directly from that list and treated it like a checklist. They would not move on until they either had the shot we wanted or were told by one of us that we no longer wanted or cared about a particular shot. They were both truly accommodating as our family members tried to start organizing group shots. We cannot wait to see the finished product! We are looking forward to using Giovanni for our photography needs in the future as we plan to start having a family.

Giovanni is a creative genius. He brings his creativity and unique style to his work and gets amazing shots. Definitely let him know what you are looking for, but also listen and be open to his suggestions and you will end up with amazing photos. I LOVE my wedding album.

I had the pleasure of working with incredible venders for my wedding however the one that stands out the most was our photographer. Giovanni came to us highly recommended and in my opinion, completely surpassed his already exceptional reputation. I found his customer service to be second to none and his work to be completely breathtaking and hauntingly beautiful. Giovanni graciously tolerated me with all of my requests from our very first meeting to our engagment photo shoot and right up until and beyond our wedding day he and his team were a pleasure to work with and I would recomend them to all!

We just picked up our proofs from Giovanni and they are even better than I could have hoped for. He is so talented and artistic and it shows in every picture. He included very traditional shots, but also enough creative shots that my album will not look a standard wedding album with all standard poses. My entire bridal party, along with many guests, complimented how professional Giovanni and his team were; everyone was very impressed. One of my biggest concerns was the amount of time we'd be pulled away from the reception to take pictures, but Giovanni has it organized so that you miss as little of your wedding as possible. The entire day ran so smoothly thanks to Giovanni and his team. They were so friendly and easy to work with and I highly recommend them.

Amazing photographer, you can't go wrong with Giovanni. He is very straightforward with you, all included in price, is yours for the full day with no hidden costs involved. He knows what he's doing and makes it fun! So professional, comes nicer dressed to wedding than some of the guests. When pictures are ready for you to review a few weeks after wedding, he actually gives you a flash drive of every pic unedited without watermarks and its yours to keep. Options for wedding album are endless and everything is high quality all made in Italy. We are really happy with the final product and couldn't posdibly want anything more.

My wife and I were married back on 10/13/13. We used Giovanni (photographic artist), and from the first time we met with him he won us over. He shot our engagement photos at Yankee stadium, and after seeing how well those came out, we knew the wedding ones were going to be fabulous. His work was amazing. He met my wife and the ladies at the salon early 8-9am and shot photos for the wedding well through the night. He is very dedicated to his work. Giovanni photographed my June New York City wedding, which included photographs in Central Park. The photographs are the perfect memory of my wedding. They were timeless and modern, while being unique. Giovanni is amazingly talented and was great the entire day and the hands down best of all my venders, the only aspect of the wedding i did not have any worry about!!

Giovanni has to be one of the best photographers in the area. He is easy to reach, friendly, professional, and great to work with. My husband and I couldn't be happier that we chose Gio to be our wedding photographer. Besides what I mentioned before, Gio takes breath-taking photos. He has a way of taking photos that truly capture the beauty and emotion of the moment. On the day of he showed up on time, him and his assistants all dressed in suits which I thought was extremely professional and looked great. He brought an assistant who always made the lighting perfect and fixed my train so my maid of honor didn't have to follow me around all day. He's easy to work with and made me feel comfortable and beautiful. The week before the wedding I had no idea how things would work what time I had to be ready and so on, I called giovanni and he worked it all out told me when to have the hairdresser and makeup artist ready and when the boys needed to be dressed by. To have a worry free day you have to surround yourself with professionals like Giovanni. I am not photogenic at all and when I shared my engagement photos with my family they told me I looked like model, that's a great photographer. If you want truly great photos that you can cherish for a lifetime, someone who is reliable and professional you will pick giovanni.

Giovanni is an amazing photographer and such a wonderful person to work with! Giovanni did my engagement pictures as well as my wedding pictures and I wasn't disappointed at all. He really took the time to listen to me and he did his best to implement all of my ideas into my photos. His personality makes you feel at ease; it's almost like upon meeting him, you've known him for years and he is one of your best friends. He adjusts his packages to suit you and what you actually need. He is not like every other photographer out there. He is unique and does his own thing which I really liked about him. I was referred to Giovanni by a friend who spoke highly of him and his work. He has a beautiful studio located in Larchmont NY which displays his beautiful work. The moment I met with him, I knew that it was a perfect fit. He listened to all of my ideas and made me feel comfortable with his judgement and ideas. He arrived on time the day of my wedding prepared, especially since my whole town lost power about an hour before he arrived. He kept calm and reassured me everything would turn out beautiful. He was able to capture special moments between my baby brother and I which meant the world to me. He stayed until the end of the night and captured an amazing evening with my family and friends. I knew that when I was to received my pictures I would not be disappointed. AND BOY DID HE DELIVER! My pictures are stunning, even before the touch up's. His eye was able to capture moment's only seen in bridal magazines. I would recomment Giovanni to absolutely anyone.
